Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's strategy in assessing teacher performance in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SDN Cikaret. The Merdeka Curriculum is the focus of the study because it is a new innovation in the world of education in Indonesia that emphasizes relevant, inclusive, and student-oriented learning. This study uses a qualitative research method. case study approach by collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of related documents. The principal at SDN Cikaret has succeeded in developing a teacher performance assessment strategy that is in accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. The development of comprehensive and relevant assessment instruments and the implementation of training programs for teachers are integral parts of this strategy. So that the implementation of this performance assessment was successfully carried out on time and the assessment results were good. Overall, this study shows the importance of the role of the principal in developing effective strategies in assessing teacher performance in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of education at SDN Cikaret and supporting the realization of national education goals.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the implementation of the Design Thinking approach can enhance students' critical thinking skills in learning three-dimensional geometry in Grade V at SDN Cipanas. The research was driven by initial observations showing that many students struggled to grasp mathematical concepts, particularly in solid shapes, due to learning methods that relied heavily on memorization and lacked opportunities for higher-order thinking. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through critical thinking tests and observation sheets that monitored student and teacher activities throughout the learning process. The findings revealed a steady improvement in students' critical thinking abilities. The average score increased from 49.6 in the pre-cycle phase to 66.7 in cycle I, and reached 81.2 by the end of cycle II. The percentage of students who met the minimum passing criteria rose significantly, from 10% in the pre-cycle to 86% in the final cycle. These results indicate that the Design Thinking approach fosters a more engaging and meaningful learning environment, encouraging students to think logically, creatively, and reflectively. Thus, this approach is recommended as an innovative teaching strategy to strengthen 21st-century skills in primary school mathematics education.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  bagaimana  pengembangan  perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan menggunakan wayang sukuraga di  sekolah  dasardan  mengetahui  kelayakan  perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan menggunakan wayang sukuraga pada mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila di  sekolah  dasar.Adapun latar belakang dari penelitian ini yaitu permasalahan perangkat pembelajaran Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila masih menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran yang sudah ada dan belum dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Sumber belajar yang digunakan juga hanya mengandalkan buku pegangan guru dan buku pegangan siswa serta pemanfaatan media visual seperti gambar. Selain itu kurangnya alat bantu atau media dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan peserta didik kurang memahami materi yang disampaikan dan proses pembelajaran yang berlangsungnya cenderung pasif tanpa adanya umpan balik dari peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan dan mengaktifkan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan   (Research   and   Development)   dengan   menggunakan   model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan  Evaluation. Hasil pengembangan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan menggunakan media wayang sukuraga telah divalidasi oleh 1 orang ahli perangkat pembelajaran, dan 2 orang praktisi. Berikut ini hasil penilaian validator mengenai pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan menggunakan media wayang sukuraga: Hasil penilaian dari ahli perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh sebesar 99,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil penilaian dari praktisi 1 diperoleh sebesar 97,5% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil penilaian dari praktisi 1 diperoleh sebesar 96,25% dengan kriteria sangat layak.Selain itu hasil uji efektivitas pretest posttest dengan menggunakan N Gain Score diperoleh hasil 0,64 yang berada dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan menggunakan media wayang sukuraga valid dan praktis digunakan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar khususnya kelas V SD Negeri Sinarmekar. Untuk mengatasi rendahnya rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, maka akan digunakan metode sosiodrama untuk meningkatkan rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sinarmekar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Negeri Sinarmekar yang berjumlah 10 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan metode sosiodrama telah terbukti secara empiris dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Sinarmekar pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang dilakukan pada siklus I, diperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata 67,6 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 30%. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif pada siklus II adalah 80,4 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 80%. Untuk hasil belajar aspek afektif pada pra siklus, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif adalah 43 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 0%. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif adalah 66 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 40%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek afektif adalah 91 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 100%.  Untuk hasil belajar aspek psikomotorik pada pra siklus, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek psikomotorik adalah 55 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 0%. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek psikomotorik adalah 76 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 50%. Pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa aspek psikomotorik adalah 91 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 100%.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter sangatlah penting dalam kurikulum merdeka karena berkaitan dengan penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Penguatan profil pelajar pancasila dapat dilakukan melalui pengenalan budaya yang menjadi karakter peserta didik. Berdasarkan observasi awal didapatkan permasalahan mengenai karakter siswa terutama dalam karakter berkebhinekaan global. Diantara salah satu solusi untuk memecahkan masalah ini yaitu dengan mengenalkan media berbasis kearifan lokal kepada peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan karakter berkebhinekaan global peserta didik pada siswa kelas IV dengan menggunakan Wayang Sukuraga sebagai media pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas menggunakan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilakukan melalui II siklus dan terdiri dari dua pembelajaran pada setiap siklusnya. Partisipan terdiri atas 28 Peserta didik yaitu 14 laki-laki dan 14 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan angket. Analisa data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu dengan perolehan skor rata-rata siklus I sebesar 73,03 dan siklus II sebesar 86,25. Dengan demikian dapat dismpulkan bahwa Wayang sukuraga dapat meningkatkan sikap berkebhinekaan global siswa.

Abstract

Teaching tools are a crucial component for successful learning. This study aims to compares teaching materials for social studies in two elementary schools in different countries, namely Rajaprajanugroh 39 Elementary School in Southern Thailand and Suryakencana CBM Elementary School in Sukabumi, Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the social studies learning materials used in both countries and identify the similarities and differences in the social studies learning materials in both schools. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentary studies of teaching modules, observation of the learning process, and in-depth interviews with educators at both schools. The research results show that most striking differences in the content and completeness of the administrative components within the learning modules. The social studies teaching modules in Southern Thailand and Indonesia each have their own advantages, influenced by curriculum policies, cultural contexts, and student needs. The teaching modules at SDN Suryakencana CBM have more detailed components, including specific mentoring plans such as remedial and enrichment sessions, as well as initial assessments to determine student readiness. Meanwhile, the teaching modules at SD Rajaprajanugroh 39 are simple and focus on classroom activity steps and post-teaching evaluations.  Although the content and components are different, both schools have strong similarities in using active learning models, such as inviting students to solve problems together and creat real works. These findings provide insight into the advantages of teaching modules from both countries that can be adapted to improve the quality of social studies learning tools at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the urgency and implementation of the Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (SETS) approach in elementary science education through the integration of Islamic values as a foundational framework. The research seeks to address common challenges in science learning, such as students’ low science process skills, limited scientific literacy, and weak environmental awareness. The study employed a qualitative descriptive design with an analytical orientation. Data were collected through classroom observations, document analysis, and semi-structured interviews involving teachers and students from elementary schools implementing SETS-based learning. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing to ensure analytical rigor, credibility, and validity. The results reveal that integrating Islamic values within the SETS framework enhances students’ conceptual understanding of science, science process skills, and literacy. It also strengthens students’ environmental awareness, scientific reasoning, and positive attitudes toward learning. The SETS model creates meaningful connections between science, technology, environment, and society, aligned with Islamic principles. The findings imply that SETS-based learning integrated with Islamic values can serve as a transformative pedagogical model to improve the quality of elementary science education by nurturing students’ scientific competence, environmental ethics, and spiritual awareness as integral components of holistic education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the speed reading skills of sixth grade elementary school students through the use of the repeated reading method. The subjects of the study were six sixth grade students. The research method used was classroom action research. Data were collected through observation and testing, then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the study showed that in the pre-cycle, 33.33% of students fell into the very poor category, which then increased to 50% falling into the poor category. In cycle II, it increased again to 83.3% in the good category. The average score in the pre-cycle was 58.33, then increased to 73.3 in cycle I and increased again to 83.3 in cycle II. It can be concluded that the use of the repeated reading method can improve the speed reading skills of sixth-grade elementary school students

Abstract

The background of this study is the low problem solving ability of fourth grade students of SDIT Adzkia 2. The purpose of this study was to improve the problem solving ability of fourth grade students of SDIT Adzkia 2 through the use of problem-based learning model with gasing method. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDIT Adzkia 2, totaling 24 students. The research method used was Kemmis and Mc Taggart class action research. Data were collected through tests and observations and then analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that in the pre-cycle cycle the average value obtained was 62.81 and included in the sufficient criteria. In cycle I there was an increase in problem solving ability with the average value obtained was 70.35 good criteria. There was another increase in students' problem solving skills in cycle II with an average value of 80.14 and included in the excellent criteria. It can be concluded that the use of problem-based learning models with the gasing method can improve the mathematical problem solving skills of grade IV students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mernacang dan mengembangkan pembelajaran interaktif multimedia menggunakan aplikasi Smart Apps Creator (SAC) yang dirancang khusus untuk melatih keterampilan peserta didik dalam membaca puisi. Multimedia ini dilengkapi dengan fitur atau konten seperti materi puisi, video latihan, video puisi, teks puisi, dan kuis interaktif. Bertujuan untuk melatih peserta didik dalam aspek pelafalan,intonasi,ekspresi wajah,irama dan gestur tubuh. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya keterampilan membaca puisi peserta didik di kelas VA di SD Negeri 2 Selabintana, kurang rasa percaya diri dan minimnya media pembelajaran yang menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pengembangan model ADDIE. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi, media, dan praktisi menjukkan bahwa produk ini dinilai “Sangat Layak” dengan skor tata-rata lebih dari 95%. Uji coba pada 25 peserta didik menjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan nilai N-Gain score 0,78 masuk ke dalam kategori tinggi dan hasil persentase dengan skor 78,79% masuk ke dalam kategori efektif. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbasis SAC tidak hanya efektif untuk melatih keterampilan membaca puisi, tetapi juga mampu memotivasi peserta didik untuk berekspresi dengan percaya diri melalui pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan
