Abstract

Sharia-compliant hotels in Indonesia are increasingly challenged to maintain religious integrity while embracing digital transformation. This study investigates how transformational leadership supports the integration of digital technologies in accordance with Islamic principles, recognising that although leadership is not explicitly regulated, the operational guidelines provide a normative framework that leaders are expected to interpret and implement in practice. A qualitative observational approach was employed. Data were collected from nine Sharia hotels in Makassar and Malang. The data were analysed using a six-phase thematic analysis framework, which enabled the systematic identification, coding, and interpretation of patterns across the entire dataset. The findings reveal that transformational leadership, which is characterised by visionary direction, motivational influence, and supportive engagement, is crucial in aligning technological adaptation with Sharia values. Hotels with stronger leadership adherence to Islamic ethics were more adherent in implementing digital tools that uphold modesty, halal standards, and moral conduct. Conversely, hotels lacking in consistent leadership practices showed weaker integration of both digital systems and Sharia compliance. Transformational leadership is essential in harmonising innovation and Islamic values. The findings of this study provide practical implications for Sharia hotel managers and policymakers to integrate transformational leadership with digital strategies so that technological innovation can enhance competitiveness without compromising adherence to Sharia principles.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan variabel pelatihan, dan mengetahui pengaruh variabel pelatihan, kompensasi dan disiplin kerja secara simultan dan parsial terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada kantor PT. PLN (Persero) Area Pelayanan dan Jaringan Malang. Penelitian ini bersifat explanatory, jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 44 responden. Metode statistik menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dari hasil analisis deskriptif, pelatihan yang diikuti karyawan dinilai tepat sasaran terutama kandungan materi dan durasi waktu yang optimal. Kompensasi juga telah dinilai baik terutama pada unsur gaji dan kompensasi pelengkap, sedangkan pada unsur fasilitas yang melingkupi kendaraan dan tempat tinggal cenderung dinilai perlu ditingkatkan. Disiplin kerja karyawan dinilai sangat tinggi, terutama pada ketaatan terhadap peraturan, ketaatan pada standard kerja dan etika kerja. Prestasi kerja karyawan juga direspon sangat positif hampir diketiga unsur yaitu ketepatan waktu, kualitas kerja dan kuantitas kerja. Pelatihan, kompensasi dan disiplin kerja secara simultan dan parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan pada kantor PT. PLN (Persero) APJ Malang. Seluruh variabel bebas memiliki pengaruh dengan arah positif dan kontribusi terbesar bersumber dari pelatihan. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Kompensasi, Disiplin Kerja dan Prestasi Kerja

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra merek dan nilai hedonis terhadap keputusan pembelian pada mahasiswa ilmu administrasi bisnis univeritas negeri makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuisioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa ilmu administrasi bisnis angkatan 2017-2020 yang menggunakan iPhone. Hasil dari penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data yang tediri dari teknik analisis data deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh citra merek secara signifikan dan parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian, kemudian terdapat pengaruh nilai hedonis secara signifikan dan parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian dan terdapat pengaruh citra merek dan nilai hedonis secara signifikan dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Berdasarkan uji korelasi hubungan antar variabel berada pada kategori sangat kuat. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian iPhone pada mahasiswa Ilmu Administrasi Bisnis Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum Univeritas Negeri Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh work-life balance terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Sang Hyang Seri kantor Regional III. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh jumlah populasi sebanyak 39 karyawan. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa indikator pada setiap variabel tersebut menunjukkan dimana variabel work-life balance dan variabel kepuasan kerja keduanya berada pada kategori baik. Berdasarkan uji korelasi diperoleh sebesar 0,825 yang artinya terjadi hubungan yang sangat/tinggi diantara kedua variabel. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara work-life balance terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan PT. Sang Hyang Seri kantor Regional III.

Abstract

Knowledge and expertise are some of the factors that affect employee performance, to achieve company goals, employees must be able to meet these performance standards. Every company has a different way so that its employees can have the knowledge and skills needed to support the process of achieving company goals. This research was conducted to find out how the influence of education and training on employee performance at PT. Julia Multimedia Nusantara Makassar, partially or simultaneously.. This research is quantitative using multiple linear regression method, with the help of SPSS 25 software. This study uses a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. Data retrieval using a saturated sample technique because the population is less than 100, then all members of the population are used as samples, totaling 35 employees. The results showed that partially the education variable had no effect on employee performance, on the contrary the test results for the training variable showed that partially there was a significant effect on performance. While the education and training variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with a strong correlation level.

Abstract

This paper analyzes the influence of digital leadership on innovation, highlighting its primary facilitators, obstacles, and upcoming research themes using a thorough literature analysis. Digital leadership promotes innovation through the utilization of technologies, the development of agile cultures, and the improvement of digital literacy. Facilitators encompass knowledge management, communication, and staff motivation, whereas obstacles like technostress, quick adaptability, and insufficient infrastructure impede advancement. Prominent topics emphasize sustainability and sophisticated technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data. The research highlights the necessity for enhanced evaluation criteria and international cooperation, emphasizing the significance of digital leadership in fostering sustainable and meaningful innovation.

Abstract

Lifestyle and Sales Promotion on Impulsive Hijab Purchases in Administrative Sciences Students, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. Thesis, Business Administration Study Program. Administration Science Department. Faculty of Social Sciences and Law. Makassar public university. This study aims to determine the effect of lifestyle and sales promotion on impulsive hijab purchases among female students of the Administrative Sciences Department, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University. This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are questionnaires or questionnaires and documentation. The sample in this study were female students of the Administrative Sciences Department, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Makassar State University, Class of 2018-2020. The data were obtained from research results that were processed using the SPSS version 25 software program which consisted of validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive analysis, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Hypothesis Tests, and Coefficients of Determination. The results of the study show that the variables Lifestyle and Sales Promotion simultaneously influence Impulsive Hijab Purchases with an Fcount of 25.094 > Ftable of 3.10 with a significance level of 0.000 (sig ἀ <0.05). Based on test the coefficient of determination of the relationship between Lifestyle and Sales Promotion together on Impulsive Buying is quite significant for Students of the Department of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, State University of Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how price discounts affect impulse buying among consumers at Indomaret in Tonronge Village. This research uses quantitative research methods to measure the influence of one variable on another statistically and objectively. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and questionnaires distributed directly to consumers who shop at the location. The sample used in this study was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in a total of 100 respondents who were considered representative of the consumer population. The data obtained from the field were processed using SPSS 26, which included several analytical procedures such as validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive statistical analysis, and inferential statistical analysis. These analyses were conducted to ensure that the research instruments were accurate and that the relationship between variables could be tested properly. The research results show that the price discount variable has a positive and significant effect on the impulse buying variable among Indomaret consumers in Tonronge Village, Baranti Subdistrict, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This finding is supported by simple linear regression analysis, which confirms the strength of the relationship between the two variables. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination indicates that price discounts influence impulse buying behavior by 84.1%, demonstrating a very strong contribution of price discounts to unplanned purchasing decisions among consumers in the research area.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed marketing practices and increased the need for adaptive digital marketing competencies among vocational students. SMKN 1 Barru faces challenges such as low practical digital literacy and limited structured training. The Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing Training Program was designed to strengthen students’ skills in content creation, digital media management, and basic business planning. The results indicate improvements in students’ digital promotion abilities, creativity, and job readiness. The program also contributes to enhancing the school’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and supporting local economic empowerment through digital-based initiatives.

Abstract

Culinary SMEs in Makassar have significant economic potential, yet many struggle to adapt to digital marketing due to low digital literacy, limited content creation skills, and the absence of content convergence strategies. A needs assessment involving 50 SMEs confirmed these challenges and underscored the urgency of targeted digital capacity building. This program applied the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach to ensure active involvement of participants in identifying needs, designing solutions, implementing training, and evaluating outcomes. Activities included workshops on social media management, creative content production, and integrated content distribution using CapCut, Canva, and Meta Business Suite. The program led to notable improvements: 85% of participants gained a better understanding of social media algorithms, 80% mastered Meta Business Suite for content convergence, and engagement rates increased from 2% to 5%. Promotional efficiency improved by 30%, accompanied by a 25% rise in digital sales conversion. PRA-based digital literacy training effectively strengthened the promotional capacity and competitiveness of culinary SMEs in the digital ecosystem. The program also contributed to the achievement of university Key Performance Indicators (IKU) through community engagement and academic output.
