Abstract

The productivity of Arabica coffee in low-altitude areas in Aceh have been declined, caused by an increase in temperatures, and by pests and diseases attack. This study aims to develop adaptation strategies to climate change in Aceh trough understanding how coffee productivity correlates with the management practices across the altitude. To find out a correlation between farming practices variables and coffee productivity, Spearman's rank test was used. To assess whether farming practice explanatory variables affected by the altitudes, a non-parametric with the Kruskal-Wallis Test, with Tukey’s post-hoc test (P0.05) with Chi-square distance were used. The results showed that coffee productivity was positively and significantly correlated to pruning, weeding, application of fertilizer, and application of pest and disease control, but was not to coffee plant density, sustainability certification, land conservation, and age of the coffee plant. Adaptation strategies for farmers in higher altitudes are to maintain the coffee plant density as well as shade density at an optimum level, followed by increasing management practices such as pruning, weeding, application of fertilizer, and pest and diseases control; in lower altitudes, those are to increase shade density both with Leucaena and multipurpose plants such as avocado and citrus, as well as increasing management practices such as land conservation, pruning, weeding, application of fertilizer and pest and diseases control. Abstract

Appropriate fertilization in the cultivation of high-yielding varieties has a great opportunity to increase soybean production, especially in soybean centers where areas lack water and ex-paddy fields. An assessment was conducted in Ujong Pie Village, Muara Tiga District, Pidie Regency during the 2020 dry season. The study demonstrated the use of appropriate cultivation technology and superior varieties of Anjasmoro soybean. Plants are managed with integrated crop management (PTT). The land used is land that was previously used for rice planting activities. The study applied five treatments, namely the former fertilized N (P1), K (P2), P (P3), and NPK (P4), as well as the pattern of farmers as control (P5). Pest and disease control is carried out with the principle of IPM. The variables measured were the growth rate of plants and their production components. The results obtained showed that the average plant height during the vegetative period at locations P4 and P5 (P0.05) was higher than those who received other treatments. The maximum growth (height) of plants that received the treatment were 56.33 cm and 54.66 cm. The highest average number of pods per plant occurred in plot P5 and then in P4, 16.50 and 15.00 pods per plant, respectively. The highest average seed production per plant was achieved in plot P5 (18.4 g/plant) and followed by plot P4 (17.13 g/plant) or converted in hectares with an average of 1.82 t/ha and 1, 50 t/ha

Abstract

Kecamatan seunagan Timur Kabupaten Nagan Raya mayoritas penduduknya berusahatani padi sawah. Tetapi sebagian besar petani menjual hasil panennya kepada agen luar Kabupaten tersebut, Selain itu gabah hasil panen petani yang ditampung oleh Pabrik besar Sebagian juga disalurkan ke Medan. Sedangkan berdasarkan informasi yang didapatkan di pasar beras yang terdapat di ibukota kabupaten menyatakan bahwa pemasok beras banyak didatangkan dari luar Kabupatendiantaranya Kabupaten Pidie dan Medan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis Untuk menganalisis bagaimana perilaku pasar padi yang terjadi di Kecamatan Seunagan Timur Kabupten Nagan Raya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perilaku pasar yang terjadi pada pemasaran padi di Kecamatan Seunagan Timur menunjukan bahwa petani lemah dalam penentuan harga. Harga padi dikuasai oleh agen dan pemilik pabrik besar dalam hal ini petani bentindak sebagai price taker. Sebagian Petani melakukan penjualan pada agen dikarenakan perjanjian norformal berupa peminjaman modal. Saluran pemasaran 2 lebih efisien dibandingkan tipe saluran lainnya, dengan nilai farmer share 42,2 persen. Sedangkan marjin pemasaran pada tipe saluran 5 merupakan tipe saluran yang paling efisien.

Abstract

Abstrak. Manajemen rantai pasok merupakan kegiatan manajemen dilakukan oleh semua pihak mulai dari pihak internal serta pihak eksternal yang berkaitan dengan perusahaan-perusahaan pada suatu lingkup rantai pasokan. Rantai pasok merupakan suatu proses yang dimulai dari pengumpulan sumber daya yang ada dilanjutkan dengan pengelolaan menjadi produk jadi. Kebun Kurma Barbate dalam melakukan aktivitasnya tidak mudah, sebab bahan pokok yaitu bibit dipasok dari luar negeri yang rawan akan masalah. Analisis kinerja manajemen rantai pasok dengan cara mengidentifikasi biaya, waktu, kapasitas, kapabilitas dan produktifitas. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kinerja manajemen rantai pasok perusahaan kebun kurma barbate yang ada di Blang Bintang Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder dan peneliti menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa tingkat kinerja kebun kurma barbate dari aspek biaya, waktu, kapasitas, kapabilitas dan produktivitas hasil kinerjanya berada dalam kategori baik karena semuanya berada pada skor 4 dengan jumlah secara berurutan mulai dari biaya sampai produktivitas yaitu 11, 10, 7, 9, 8. Berdasarkan lima aspek yang dianalisis, diperoleh persentase biaya sebesar 73%, waktu sebesar 67%, kapasitas sebesar 47%, kapabilitas sebesar 60% dan produktivitas sebesar 53%. Dari hasil tersebut dikatakan kinerja kebun kurma barbate baik dengan artian: 1) Biaya yang dikeluarkan sesuai dengan perencanaan anggaran biaya yang telah ditetapkan, 2) Waktu dalam penyampain bahan baku dari pemasok ke perusahaan sesuai jadwal, 3) Kapasitas pekerjaan di perusahaan mencapai target atau berjalan maksimal, 4) Kapabilitas perusahaan tepat sasaran sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan 5) Produktivitas perusahaan tinggi dilihat dari peningkatan penanaman bibit kurma.Analysis of Supply Chain Management Performance of Company Barbate Dates PlantationAbstract. Supply chain management is a management activity carried out by all parties starting from internal parties as well as external parties related to companies in a supply chain scope. Supply chain is a process that starts from the collection of existing resources followed by management into finished products.  Barbate Dates Gardens in carrying out their activities are not easy, because the basic ingredients, namely seeds are supplied from abroad which are prone to problems. Analysis of supply chain management performance by identifying costs, time, capacity, capability and productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of supply chain management performance of barbate date palm plantation companies in Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar District. This study uses primary and secondary data and the researcher uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the level of performance of the barbate date palm plantation from the aspect of cost, time, capacity, capability and productivity, the results of the performance are in the good category because all of them are on a score of 4 with the number sequentially starting from cost to productivity, namely 11, 10, 7, 9 , 8. Based on the five aspects analyzed, the percentage of cost is 73%, time is 67%, capacity is 47%, capability is 60% and productivity is 53%. From these results it is said that the performance of the barbate date palm plantation is good with the following meanings: 1) The costs incurred are in accordance with the predetermined cost budget planning, 2) The time in delivering raw materials from suppliers to the company according to schedule, 3) The work capacity in the company reaches the target or is running. maximum, 4) The company's capability is right on target according to the needs and 5) The company's productivity is high as seen from the increase in planting date palm seeds.

Abstract

Abstrak - Kopi arabika (Arabica coffe L) merupakan minuman yang digemari oleh masyarakat di seluruh dunia yang sudah menjadi bagian dari kehidupan manusia sehari-hari. Permintaan kopi arabika Indonesia terus meningkat setiap tahun, kopi arabika yang dihasilkan oleh berbagai daerah di Indonesia mempunyai karakteristik dan cita rasa yang unik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor harga  kopi arabika roasting (specialty, premium, longberry), harga  greenbean arabika (specialty, premium, longberry), harga  kopi robusta dan promosi terhadap permintaan kopi arabika roasting (sangrai) dengan menggunakan persamaan Regresi Linier Berganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha pengolahan kopi arabika roasting yang berada di Kecamatan Bandar Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing hipotesis 1, 2 dan 3 yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap permintaan kopi arabika roasting adalah (X2) yaitu harga greenbean arabika specialty (X2a), harga greenbean arabika premium (X2b)  dan harga greenbean arabika longberry (X2c) Demand Analysis Of Arabica Coffee Roasting In Kecamatan Bandar Kabupaten Bener MeriahAbstract – Arabica coffee (Arabica coffe L) is beverage favored by people around the world who have become part of everyday human life. Indonesian Arabica coffee demand continues to increase every year, Arabica coffee produced by the various regions in Indonesia has the characteristics and unique taste. This research aims to knowing influence factors of arabica roasting coffee prices (specialty, premium, longberry), arabica greenbean prices (specialty, premium, longberry), robusta coffee prices and promotion on demand for arabica roasting by using multiple linear regression equation The sample of research was the businessman of arabica coffee roasting in Kecamatan Bandar Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Collection of data obtained from the primary and secondary data. The results showed that each of these hypotheses 1, 2 and 3 which significantly affected the demand for arabica coffee roasting is (X2) which is arabica specialty greenbean prices (X2a), arabica premium greenbean prices (X2b) and arabica longberry greenbean prices (X2c).

Abstract

Abstrak. Cabai dan bawang merah merupakan salah satu jenis komoditas andalan untuk bahan pangan jenis holtikultura, peningkatan produksi kedua komoditas ini terus meningkat. Aktivitas pemasaran sangat penting agar komoditi hasil petani dapat sampai ke tangan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbandingan efisiensi pemasaran dan kendala-kendala dalam pemasaran sayur-sayuran (cabai dan bawang merah) di daerah dataran tinggi (Kabupaten Bener Meriah) dan dataran rendah (Kabupaten Aceh Besar). Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Bukit Kabupaten Bener Meriah dan Kecamatan Darussalam Kabupaten Aceh Besar dengan metode pengambilan sampel petani yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah stratified random sampling dan Snowball sampling untuk pedagang. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis margin pemasaran, efisiensi pemasaran, mengitung farmer’s share dan analisis deskriptif untuk mengetahui saluran pemasaran dan kendala-kendala dalam pemasaran. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat dua saluran pemasaran cabai dan bawang merah dan hasil analisis efisiensi pemasaran yang paling efisien adalah saluran pemasaran pada cabai dan bawang merah di Kabupaten Aceh Besar dibukitkan dengan nilai efisiensi yaitu 2,35%, serta kurangnnya pasokan produk dari petani lokal dan berfluktuasinya harga menjadi kendala didalam pemasaran cabai dan bawang merah. Dapat diambil kesimpulan diketahui bahwa kedua jenis saluran pemasaran yang terbentuk sudah efisien. Abstract. Chili and onion are one of the mainstay commodity types for horticultural food, The increasing of both of these commodities is constantly ceaseless. Marketing activity is absolutely crucial in order to deliver those harvested commodities to the consumers. This study aims to compare the marketing efficiency with its obstacles in vegetables (chilli and onion) marketing process in the highlands (Bener Meriah) and lowland (Aceh Besar). The research was carried out in Bukit, Bener Meriah and Darussalam, Aceh Besar. The researcher applied stratified random sampling to pick the samples from farmers and snowball sampling for the traders. The method analysis that has been used in this research is marketing margin analysis, efficiency marketing, farmer’s share counting and descriptive analysis to investigate the marketing channels and the obstacles in the marketing. The results of the study revealed that there are two marketing channels chili and onions. and through efficiency analysis it can be understood that the most efficient marketing is a chilli marketing channel in Aceh Besar which was proven with a value 2.35%, a lack of supply from local farmers, and the price fluctuation has been becoming the obstacles in marketing both chili and onions. It can be concluded that both of the formed marketing channel types are efficient.

Abstract

Mushrooms are vegetables that are good for humans and have a fairly high nutritional value, namely potassium, protein, antioxidants, crude fiber, B vitamins, vitamin D and Beta glucan. Mushrooms can be processed as food, including mushroom soup, mushroom paste, salad, and can even be processed into a kind of crisp or chip. In 2018-2019, national mushroom production per year is in the range of 33 thousand tons, while domestic demand is estimated at 48 thousand tons. Based on this data, it means that there is still a difference of around 15 thousand tons per year that has not been able to be met from domestic production. This was a great opportunity for mushroom cultivators. This indicates that Indonesia has not been able to meet the domestic demand for mushrooms and there are many opportunities for mushroom entrepreneurs in Indonesia. There are recorded as many as 910,028 farmers throughout Aceh Province, as for Aceh Besar District, there are 61,316 farmers. There are various kinds of farming that are cultivated in Aceh Besar, one of which is mushrooms. One type of mushroom cultivated is straw mushroom (Volvariella volvaceae). Similarly to the facts above, the supply of mushrooms in Aceh is still not able to meet its high demand. One of those who have started a mushroom cultivation business in Aceh Besar is the mushroom business which is managed by Maulana. The name of this business is Bujang Jamur, located in Rumpet Village, Darussalam District, Aceh Besar Region. This study aims to analyze the advantages of the Bujang Jamur business and then determine the right development strategy by utilizing the strengths and opportunities of this business. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The data that has been obtained are analyzed using profit analysis and SWOT analysis using the IFE/EFE matrix. Data analysis begins with determining the weights of strategic factors that affect the business, then the results of the weights are analyzed using a SWOT matrix. Based on the results of the profit analysis, it was obtained that the R/C Ratio was 1.93, which means it can be said that the Merang Mushroom Business run by Bujang Mushroom is included in the profitable category. As for the SWOT analysis diagram, the Bujang Mushroom business is in quadrant I or the aggressive quadrant, which means that the strengths and opportunities available in the Bujang Mushroom business can still be utilized as much as possible so that they can take advantage of the high demand in the market.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kecamatan Simpang Tiga merupakan salah satu sentral penghasil Bawang Merah di Kabupaten Pidie. Pemasaran hasil panen Bawang Merah selama ini masih dilakukan di tingkat lokal yaitu di Kecamatan Simpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie. Tujuun penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya margin dan tingkat efisiensi pemasaran pada masing-masing saluran pemasaran bawang merah di Kecamatan Simpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie. Objek pada penelitian ini adalah petani bawang merah dan pedagang perantara bawang merah yang terdapat pada daerah penelitian. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini terbatas pada analisis margin pemasaran dan efisiensi pemasaran bawang merah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey melalui teknik wawancara dan kuesioner serta pengambilan sampel petani bawang merah dilakukan dengan cara penentuan sampel acak sederhana (perposive sampling) dan Snowball Sampling untuk pengambilan sampel pedagang perantara. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 67 orang petani dan 26 pedagang perantara yaitu 6 pedagang pengumpul dan 20 pedagang pengecer. Terdapat dua jenis saluran pemasaran bawang merah di Kecamatan Simpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie, dari hasil penelitian diketahui margin pemasaran pada saluran I lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan margin pemasaran saluran II, pada saluran I margin pemasaran bawang merah adalah Rp. 11.000,- /Kg. Sedangkan pada saluran II margin pemasaran bawang merah merah adalah Rp. 12.000,- /Kg. Hal ini disebabkan karena panjangnya saluran pemasaran dan besarnya biaya pemasaran yang dikeluarkan oleh pedagang perantara yang terlibat. Pemasaran bawang merah di Kecamatan Simpang Tiga Kabupaten Pidie sudah efesien, karena nilai efisiensi pamasaran dari saluran pemasaran I dan II adalah 31,4% dan 34,3% lebih kecil dari 50%.Marketing Analysis of Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) in Simpang Tiga District, Pidie RegencyAbstract. Simpang Tiga District is one of the central producers of shallots in Pidie Regency. Marketing of Shallots harvest is still carried out at the local level, namely in Simpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the margin and level of marketing efficiency in each shallot marketing channel in Simpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency. The object of this research are shallot farmers and shallot intermediary traders in the research area. The scope of this research is limited to the analysis of marketing margins and marketing efficiency of shallots. The method used in this research is a survey method through interview and questionnaire techniques and the sampling of shallot farmers is done by determining a simple random sample (perposive sampling) and Snowball Sampling for sampling intermediary traders. The number of samples taken were 67 farmers and 26 intermediary traders, namely 6 collectors and 20 retailers. There are two types of shallot marketing channels in Simpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency, from the results of the study it is known that the marketing margin in channel I is smaller than the marketing margin of channel II, in channel I the marketing margin of shallot is Rp. 11,000,- /Kg. While in channel II the marketing margin of shallots is Rp. 12,000,- /Kg. This is due to the length of the marketing channel and the large marketing costs incurred by the intermediary traders involved. The marketing of shallots in Simpang Tiga District, Pidie Regency is already efficient, because the marketing efficiency values of marketing channels I and II are 31.4% and 34.3% are less than 50%.

Abstract

Copra is one of the plantation commodity sub-sectors, a leading export commodity with a high production level. However, the high production of copra is not comparable to Indonesia's copra exports which are still very low. This study aims to determine what factors affect the volume of copra exports in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data with the type of time series data from 2000-2019. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. This study indicates that the volume of copra exports in Indonesia is influenced by domestic copra production, domestic copra prices, international copra prices, domestic copra demand, and exchange rates. The variables of domestic copra production, international copra prices, and domestic demand partially have a significant effect on the volume of copra exports in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the domestic copra price and the crucible exchange rate did not significantly affect the volume of copra exports in Indonesia. The domestic copra production variable is the most dominant variable affecting the volume of copra exports in Indonesia.

Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan menurunnya pasokan kayu, sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pengelolaan hutan salah satunya meningkatkan pemanfaatan hasil hutan bukan kayu (HHBK). Peran para pelaku ekonomi pedesaan perlu mendapat perhatian seperti program pengembangan hasil hutan bukan kayu unggulan dan dapat mengoptimalkan bambu. Apabila pemanfaatan bambu sudah optimal dan mampu menjadi salah satu sumber utama pendapatan masyarakat pedesaan, salah satunya potensi bambu yang berada di kecamatan Dabun Gelang, sangat menjanjikan kedepannya, sehingga membuat masyarakat lebih mudah dalam mendapatkan hasil hutan. mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap hasil hutan kayu, dan dapat mengoptimalkan hasil hutan bukan kayu.Menentukan nilai ekonomi usaha kerajinan bambu yang dimanfaatkan. Data yang diperoleh melalui penelitian di lapangan baik melalui wawancara maupun kuesioner kemudian dianalisis.
