Abstract

Burnout merupakan fenomena psikologis di era modern, berhubungan dengan stress kronik yang dialami seseorang secara berkepanjangan akibat pekerjaan. Herbert J. Freudenberger merupakan tokoh psikologi yang telah berkontribusi besar dalam penggagasan fenomena ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan solusi terapi psikologi Islam atas fenomena burnout. Pada kajian kualitatif ini peneliti menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan pendekatan deskriptif - analisis, kepustakaan dengan pendekatan. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji fenomena burnout dan solusinya dari sudut pandang Herbert J. Freudenberger serta tawaran solusi terapi psikologi Islam terkhusus al-Ghazali atas fenomena Burnout. Kajian terhadap pembahasan ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa burnout dapat disembuhkan dengan penerapan terapi dalam psikologi Islam. Adapun diantaranya tahapan ilmu atau pengenalan diri, tahapan tobat atau menerima diri, tahapan ‘Awaiq atau mawas diri, tahapan ‘Awarid atau melepaskan, tahapan bawa’ist atau motivasi, tahapan qawadih atau merefleksikan, dan tahapan syukur. Maka fenomena burnout ini dapat disembuhkan dengan menerapkan tujuh tahapan self-healing yang ditawarkan oleh al-Ghazali.

Abstract

This article examines the model of heart disease therapy in the thought of Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyah, known as Sufi healing. It aims to purify the heart from disease while enabling a servant to fulfill their worship as commanded by Allah to His Messenger. In life, a person inevitably encounters four conditions: pleasure, sorrow, suffering, and death. This study investigates how Sufi healing impacts the ability to face these four conditions. The author employs descriptive and analytical methods in this research. After conducting a literature review, the author concludes that Sufi healing, according to Ibn Qayyim's thought, is an effective way to treat heart diseases by engaging in remembrance (dhikr) of Allah. This practice leads to human happiness and protection from diseases such as envy, jealousy, malice, and ostentation.

Abstract

Religious diversity in Indonesia is confronted with two significant challenges. The first is the challenge posed by those who espouse radical or liberalist views, while the second is the refraction of religious pluralism by those who equate its main objectives. Consequently, the presence of religious moderation represents a viable approach to fostering tolerance and harmony between religious communities. The objective of this research is to examine the values of religious moderation in the context of al-Wasathiyyah al-Islamiyyah, with a view to identifying potential solutions. This type of research is a literature review (LR) that analyses and synthesises the strengthening of religious moderation according to al-Wasathiyyah al-Islamiyyah. Accordingly, to buttress this line of inquiry, the researcher has adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, complemented by a religious phenomenology methodology. The findings of this study indicate that al-Wasathiyyah al-Islamiyyah is characterised by a set of prioritised indicators, namely the maintenance of al-Maqashid asy-Syari’ah on religious freedom, unity on the purpose of life, unity on life guidelines, and unity on human diversity. In order to maintain the unity of multicultural Indonesian society, it is necessary to create an atmosphere of justice, peace, harmony and tolerance. This will enrich the inclusive and progressive Islamic discourse in the contemporary era.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the concept of logotherapy of Victor Frankl. This study uses descriptive analysis. First, the concept of logotherapy has three pillars in its philosophical foundation, the freedom of will, in this context every human being free to make choices to determine his own choice and destiny. The will to meaning, which every human being has the desire to have meaning in life. The meaning of life is an awareness of the possibility to realize what is being done at that time which then if successfully fulfilled will produce happiness. Second, in logotherapy, there is a noetic dimension which equivalent to the spiritual dimension, which tends toward the anthropological dimension rather than the theological dimension and does not contain religion. Third, the spiritual logotherapy dimension is different from Sufism. If Sufism spiritual affirms the sharia, then logotherapy departs from human existence. The implications of these differences give to a variety of happiness, both spiritual and physical. Artikel ini bertujuan mengungkap konsep logoterapi yang diformulasikan oleh Victor Frankl. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis kajian ini menghasilkan beberapa kesimpulan: pertama, konsep logoterapi memiliki tiga landasan filosofis yaitu, kebebasan berkeinginan (the freedom of will). Dalam konteks ini setiap manusia bebas menentukan pilihan dan nasibnya sendiri. Keinginan akan makna (the will to meaning), yaitu manusia memiliki hasrat untuk memiliki makna hidup. Makna hidup adalah sebuah kesadaran untuk mengetahui apa yang dilakukan saat itu hingga menghasilkan kebahagiaan. Kedua, di dalam logoterapi terdapat dimensi spiritual yang cenderung ke arah antropologis daripada kearah teologis serta tidak mengandung konotasi agama. Ketiga, dimensi spiritual logoterapi berbeda dengan dimenssi dalam tasawuf. Jika para sufi mengafirmasi spiritual pada syariat maka logoterapi berangkat dari human exsistence. Implikasi dari kedua perbedaan tersebut melahirkan ragam kebahagiaan baik kebahagiaan ruhani dan ragawi.

Abstract

A recent discovery in psychology that is very amazing is that the central brain is active when a person's personality and spirituality can function as a balancer between the roles of the soul and the physical. In this context, Badiuzzaman Said Nursi initiated a concept of how to develop the development of one's personality and spirituality in psychology as a solution to the problems faced by humanity today in the form of globalization, westernization, secularization and liberalization which makes humans lose direction and grip on life. Therefore, human personality and spirituality are easily swayed. This research is a qualitative research, by taking library data as the object of research. The library data is in the form of books by Badiu'zzaman Said Nursi, as well as research works or notes that help in concluding the concept of personality development and spirituality in psychology from the perspective of Badiu'zzaman Said Nursi. Furthermore, using descriptive-analytic method as an analytical knife in drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the development of a person's personality and spirituality cannot be separated from religious and divine aspects. According to Badiuzzaman Said Nursi, the concept of the development of one's personality in psychology is divided into four ways, namely: (1) Confession of one's helplessness before God Almighty, (2) Confession of self-poverty towards God Almighty, (3) Expecting God's love , (4) Doing reflection or meditation. While the concept of developing one's spirituality in psychology is also divided into four ways, namely: (1) Through the light of faith in God, (2) Through holistic devotion (worship) to God, (3) Manifesting God's asthma that is reflected in them, and (4) Following the way of the Qur'an or the way of nature. Sebuah penemuan terbaru dalam ilmu psikologi yang sangat mengagumkan adalah bahwa sentral otak bersifat aktif apabila kepribadian dan spiritualitas seseorang dapat berfungsi sebagai penyeimbang antara peran jiwa dan fisik. Dalam konteks ini, Badiuzzaman Said Nursi menggagas sebuah konsep bagaimana mengembangkan perkembangan kepribadian dan spiritualitas seseorang dalam ilmu psikologi sebagai solusi problematika yang dihadapi oleh umat manusia masa kini berupa arus globalisasi, westernisasi, sekularisasi, dan liberalisasi yang menjadikan manusia kehilangan arah dan pegangan hidup. Karenanya, kepribadian dan spiritualitas manusia mudah terombang ambing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan mengambil data-data kepustakaan sebagai obyek penelitian. Data pustaka tersebut berupa buku-buku karya Badiuzzaman Said Nursi, serta karya-karya penelitian atau catatan-catatan yang membantu dalam menyimpulkan konsep perkembangan kepribadian dan spiritualitas dalam ilmu psikologi perspektif Badiu'zzaman Said Nursi. Selanjutnya menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitik sebagai pisau analisis dalam mengambil kesimpulan. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, perkembangan kepribadian dan spiritualitas seseorang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari aspek religi dan ketuhanan. Menurut Badiuzzaman Said Nursi, konsep perkembangan kepribadian seseorang dalam ilmu psikologi terbagi menjadi empat cara, yaitu: (1) Pengakuan ketidakberdayaan seseorang di hadapan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, (2) Pengakuan kemiskinan diri terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, (3) Mengharapkan cinta Tuhan, (4) Melakukan refleksi atau meditasi. Sedangkan konsep perkembangan spiritualitas seseorang dalam ilmu psikologi terbagi menjadi empat cara juga, yaitu: (1) Melalui cahaya keimanan kepada Tuhan, (2) Melalui pengabdian secara holistik (ibadah) kepada Tuhan, (3) Memanifestasikan asma Allah yang terefleksi dalam diri mereka, dan (4) Mengikuti jalan al-Qur’an atau jalan hakikat.

Abstract

Nowadays most people lack their self-control, which can result in sadness, stress corruption, even murder and suicide The purpose of writing this paper is to find out Muhammad Iqbal's theory of khudi. By descriptive analysis method, this paper concludes that: First, Muhammad Iqbal's theory of khudi as a strengthening of spirituality in Islamic psychology. Second, khudi is defined as soul, individual, and personality. Third, the factors to strengthen khudi include: love, faqr, toleration, courage, and action. Fourth, the three main stages to strengthen the spirituality of khudi include: obedience to Allah's law, self-control, and Caliphate. Fifth, Insan Kamil is a form of realization of the value of spirituality in khudi as an understanding of human nature as a servant of Allah to become the Caliph of Allah on earth Di era modern sebagian besar manusia kehilangan self-control yang menyebabkan depresi, stres, korupsi, bahkan pembunuhan dan aksi bunuh diri.  Tujuan penulisan makalah ini untuk mengetahui teori khudi Muhammad Iqbal. Dengan menggunakan metode descriptive analisis makalah ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa: Pertama, teori khudi Muhammad Iqbal sebagai penguatan spiritualitas dalam psikologi Islam. Kedua, khudi diartikan sebagai jiwa, individual, dan kepribadian. Ketiga, faktor untuk memperkuat khudi diantarannya: cinta, faqr, tolerasi, keberanian, dan tindakan. Keempat, tiga tahap utama untuk memperkuat spiritualitas khudi diantaranya: ketaatan akan hukum Allah, pengendalian diri, dan ke-Khalifahan. Kelima, insan Kamil adalah bentuk terealisasinya nilai spiritualitas dalam khudi sebagai pemahaman hakikat manusia sebagai hamba Allah hingga menjadi Khalifah Allah di muka bumi.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk membantu Yayasan Qurrota A’yun (YQA) Ponorogo dalam merumuskan konsep pendidikan kepemimpinan Islam. Masalah utama yang dihadapi YQA adalah belum adanya sistem pendidikan kepemimpinan yang terstruktur bagi siswa, guru, karyawan, dan orang tua. Metode yang digunakan adalah Community-Based Research (CBR) dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Hasil PkM ini adalah tersusunnya model konseptual pendidikan kepemimpinan Islam yang mencakup tujuan kepemimpinan, karakter pemimpin ideal, keterampilan kepemimpinan, dan manajemen fungsi kepemimpinan Islam. Model ini menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan kurikulum kepemimpinan di berbagai satuan pendidikan di YQA. Sebagai tindak lanjut, program ini akan dikembangkan untuk menyusun kurikulum yang lebih aplikatif dan berbasis implementasi langsung di lapangan.

Abstract

Freud's psychosexual is a theory that is quite influential in describing human personality in the contemporary era. Freud viewed that human mental health disorders (neurotic) were greatly influenced by his sexual experiences in childhood. In contrast to Islam, Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan through his work describes a more holistic concept of child development that includes various aspects of human qualities. Therefore, this paper aims to conduct a comparative study between Abdullah Nashih 'Ulwan's concept of child development and Freud's Psychosexual. This research is a library research and the data sources used consist of primary data sources of Sigmund Freud's works and secondary data sources in the form of books, which are relevant to this research to strengthen the argumentation and to complement the data from the research results. The data analysis technique used by the author in this research is content analysis. As for the findings that the author gets from this paper, first, psychosexuality has epistemological problems and worldviews that are not in accordance with the Islamic worldview. second, psychosexuality views human nature partially, which only sees from the aspect of sexuality alone. Third, 'Ulwan describes a more holistic child development by reviewing all aspects of human quality itself which includes aspects of Īmāniyyah, khuluqiyyah, Ijtimā'iyyah, a'qliyyah, nafsiyyah, ruhiyyah and Jinsiyyah.

Abstract

Islam privileges the position of women where previously they were in a low position, even in pre-Islamic times the birth of a woman was a very shameful disgrace. However, in reality, from the womb of a woman, a generation will emerge that will bring about changes in the social order of society and also civilization. Said Nursi through Risale Nur has given special notes to women, this research uses library research methods with the main source being the Risale Murshid Akhwat wa al-akhirah. Ibnu Katsir, al-Maraghi which is managed using descriptive analysis methods. The results of the research in this paper show the conclusion that fitrah is the basis for recognizing the oneness of God. Islam divides the dimensions of nature into 3, namely; Biological, Spiritual and Psychological, in the role of women's nature, it concludes that women's nature is to love and defend their children, this is God's gift given to women, Said Nursi likens women's nature to being a brave mother hen. fighting dogs to defend her children. The characteristics of a true woman in Nursi's view are having the qualities of Syafaqah, protecting their private parts, akhlaqul karimah, and being the first school for their children.

Abstract

Modern human life is full of rapid development, mobility, and adjustment tendencies. Human life is filled with problems caused by various expectations that do not match reality. Dhikr is one of the therapies in psychology that helps individuals believe that all conflicts or life problems can be faced properly with the help of Allah SWT. This study aims to explore the theory of dhikr and analyze the treatment of psychological problems in Islam from the perspective of al-Ghazāli. The results of this study are da'wah therapy according to al-Ghazāli by using the descriptive-analytical method this study found several important conclusions. First, al-Ghazāli divides the principle of muāmalah in dhikr into four, namely, dhikr with the tongue, dhikr with the heart, dhikr with the secret, and dhikr with the spirit. Second, for al-Ghazāli Dhikr in addition to being a means of relationship between creatures and khāliq (creator) also contains high values and usability to be a solution to psychological problems that occur in humans. Third, Al-Ghazali in his psychotherapy in the treatment of psychological problems has applied treatment taken from Islamic law. Fourth, to improve psychological well-being and happiness, dhikr is needed because dhikr means that individuals always remember their God.
