Abstract

Hormonal contraception is very effective in preventing pregnancy, but this contraception has various side effects. The objective is to determine how hormonal contraceptive use affects sexual dysfunction in women. In this research, the author follows the Arksey and O'Malley framework by identifying questions, identifying relevant articles, selecting and selecting papers, mapping data, discussing, concluding, and reporting results. The prism flowchart displays the flow of article searches on four databases: PubMed, Wiley, EBSCO, and ProQuest. This Scoping Review found 14 articles out of 1441 selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria into three themes. Hormonal changes due to using Combined Hormonal Contraceptive (CHC) contraception negatively affect sexual life, namely increasing Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) and decreasing free testosterone. The effect of hormonal contraceptives on female sexual dysfunction decreases libido, pleasure, orgasm, difficulty in lubrication, and vaginal dryness. Other factors affecting women's sexual function include age, education, premenopause, marital status, consumption of antidepressants, differences in partner age, income, and household harmony. CHC hormonal contraceptives cause sexual dysfunction in women due to decreased androgen hormones in the ovaries.

Abstract

Background:The family planning program in Indonesia has been started since 1957, but it was merely part of health issues. With the increasing population of Indonesian people, the high maternal mortality rate, and the need for reproductive health, family planning programs are then used as a way to suppress population growth and improve maternal and child health. According to the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN), the primary problem in actualizing the target of family planning programs is the low participation of couples of childbearing age (EFA). Another problem currently emerging is the increasing number of family planning dropouts as a direct impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Purpose: This study aimed to scrutinize the implementation of family planning programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The method in this research was scoping review. The literature search in this study used 3 health journal databases, namely PubMed, ScienceDirect, ProQuest, and 1 search engine: Google Scholar. Articles were selected using inclusion criteria, which were Articles published in national and international journals from 2019 to 2021. The total search results were 274 articles, and 9 articles were found that met the inclusion criteria in the author's review. The instruments used to assess the quality of articles was The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Critical Appraisal Tools. Results:The impact of family planning services in the COVID-19 pandemic era is a decrease in family planning participants in March 2020 when compared to February 2020 throughout Indonesia. Factors that affect family planning program services during the COVID-19 pandemic include : knowledge, Husband’s support, Support from health professionals. Abstract

Background: Marriage is everyone's dream and need to create a whole and happy family (household). Changing the status and role of being a parent is fun and even sad if the adjustment is not properly prepared. Self-acceptance as a parent can affect a person's psychological level where the rates of stress, depression, violence against family children, and even divorce experience an increasing trend. Young parents are more vulnerable to becoming victims of both physical and verbal violence. Methods: The method in this research is scoping review. The literature search in this study used three medical journal databases, namely Ebsco, ProQuest, and Willey Online Library, and one search engine, namely Google Scholar. Articles were selected using inclusion criteria, namely original research, in English and Indonesian, published within the last 5 years (2017-2022). The total search results were 3,395 articles. 10 articles that met the inclusion criteria in the authors' review were found. The instrument used to assess the quality of articles was the Joana Briggs tool from the Joana Briggs Institute (JBI). Conclusion: From the results of the review, it was found three themes related to readiness, influencing factors, and support in the transition to parenthood. The review of the ten articles showed that the transition to parenthood requires readiness both physically and mentally, internal and external factors, and the need for support from family, social, and health services.

Abstract

Health insurance provides access to every color of the country to get access to health services in the form of promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative efforts at affordable costs. Integrated health services that focus on patient needs (patient-centered care) will increase the active role of families and communities in making decisions related to health services to be provided and are often associated with health financing and insurance used. This Scoping review aims to explore and map the scientific evidence related to the health insurance model in patient-centered care-based health services. This study uses Arkshey & O'Malley Framework and PRISMA-ScR Checklist. In the identification of articles used using PubMed, EBSCO, ProQuest, Wiley Online Library, and Grey supporting literature such as Google Scholar and appropriate databases. The article inclusion criteria used in the search are primary articles in 2012-2022, articles from relevant Gray literature and databases, scientific articles in English and/ or Indonesian, and scientific articles that focus on the health care insurance model and patient-centered care-based health services. While the exclusion criteria used are articles in the form of guidelines, standard operating procedures, opinion papers, reviews, commentaries, research articles that do not use English and Indonesian, and research articles that focus on medicine-centered care are not included in this review. The keywords used are patient-centered care and health insurance. Assessment of Article quality using the Critical Appraisal Skills Program (CASP) and Joanna Bridge Institute Tools (JBI). A total of 6,388 articles were selected and 14 articles were reviewed. Research articles were reviewed from 8 countries with 12 articles using quantitative research design and 2 articles using qualitative research design. From the review article, the author identified 2 main themes, namely the use of health insurance and the application of patient-centered care. Patient satisfaction among Health Insurance users is higher than patients who do not use health insurance because health insurance provides financial protection for health services. The use of health insurance based on patient-centered care is expected to provide positive benefits to health services such as improving patient healing, reducing unnecessary actions/ care, and reducing the length of hospital treatment so that it is expected to reduce the financing made by patients and health insurance used.

Results A total of 1,767 were then selected into 12 relevant articles. Several things that must be considered in providing preconception care in preparation for becoming parents to prospective bride and groom couples, namely the importance of physical, mental/psychological, and economic preparation and equality in sharing the role of parents in raising children. Creating good care for children is influenced by several factors, namely good knowledge, education, information access, and healthcare providers needed by prospective couples for providing preconception care in preparation for becoming parents.
