Abstract

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) memiliki visi strategis untuk menjadi universitas konservasi dan bereputasi dunia. Pencapaian visi ini memerlukan inovasi dalam sistem promosi dan penyampaian informasi, khususnya mengenai fasilitas akademik vital seperti Gedung Laboratorium Matematika FMIPA UNNES. Pentingnya penelitian ini timbul dari tantangan berupa keterbatasan akses fisik serta minimnya media interaktif yang mampu menyajikan gambaran fasilitas laboratorium secara komprehensif kepada calon mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum. Oleh karena itu, tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah merancang dan mengembangkan aplikasi Virtual Tour 3D Gedung Laboratorium Matematika FMIPA UNNES sebagai alat promosi dan informasi yang efektif, memberikan pengalaman eksplorasi yang imersif. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah prototyping, yang melibatkan siklus pengembangan iteratif. Tahapan yang dilakukan mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pemodelan 3D dilanjutkan dengan pengujian fungsionalitas dan evaluasi pengguna. Hasil menunjukkan keberhasilan pengembangan aplikasi Virtual Tour 3D yang mampu menyajikan visualisasi realistis fasilitas laboratorium lengkap dengan informasi detail dan fitur navigasi interaktif. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan aplikasi berjalan dengan sangat baik. Pengembangan aplikasi ini merupakan langkah inovatif yang signifikan dalam modernisasi sistem informasi dan promosi akademik UNNES, berkontribusi langsung pada peningkatan daya saing global dan mendukung visi universitas menuju reputasi dunia.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of mathematics learning with interactive multimedia based on ethnomathematics through an android application in improving students' creative thinking skills. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design on grade IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Karangampel. The selection of experimental and control classes was carried out using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using documentation, test and interview methods. The findings of this study indicate that who used interactive multimedia based on ethnomathematics through an android application achieved classical completeness and had higher creative thinking skills and based on the average N-gain score of the experimental class and the control class, the average N-gain score for the experimental class was higher than the average N-gain score for the control class, namely 0.8022 > 0.6994 so that more significant improvements compared to students who did not use the multimedia. Thus, interactive multimedia-based PjBL can be used as a relevant and effective pedagogical approach in learning transformation geometry material.

Abstract

Students in Indonesia often have difficulties in mathematics problem-solving, mainly due to the absence of engaging media in traditional teaching techniques. This study aimed to examine the effect of interactive learning multimedia on students' mathematical problem-solving skills. We performed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), examining 20 papers, of which 15 were selected from accredited national journals (Sinta 1-5) sourced from Scopus and Google Scholar, with a specific emphasis on "interactive learning multimedia" and "mathematical problem-solving ability." The results repeatedly indicated that interactive learning multimedia substantially improves students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Integrating interactive multimedia, especially within a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) framework, shown significantly greater efficacy than traditional training devoid of such media. In conclusion, interactive learning multimedia is a crucial instrument for enhancing mathematics instruction and cultivating students' critical problem-solving skills.

Abstract

With the rapid changes in the times, the emphasis in education has also shifted, from equipping students with highly codified knowledge to developing routine skills to empower them to face and overcome complex and non-routine cognitive challenges. Students must be able to think flexibly and creatively when asked to solve problems for which they do not yet have strategies. The purpose of this study was to describe the creative mathematical reasoning (CMR) abilities of students in solving multiple solution tasks (MSTs) in analytical geometry problems. The CMR indicators in this study were novelty, plausibility, and mathematical foundation. The research used a qualitative descriptive design, describing how students' CMR abilities and their own abilities in solving MSTs questions. The subjects of this study were second-semester students in the mathematics education program at a university in Subang in the 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects were given MSTs questions, grouped into high, medium, and low groups based on their scores. Then, two participants were selected from each group. The criteria for selecting research subjects were: fulfilling the CMR ability aspect; being able to solve several MSTs questions to assess novelty, plausibility, and mathematical foundation, including the stages of initiating reasoning, developing reasoning (incubation, illumination), verifying reasoning, and justifying reasoning; and being able to communicate well. The research subjects were divided into three groups based on the MSTs' question scores: high, medium, and low.  The results of the study illustrate that students' mathematical creative reasoning abilities in solving MSTs questions are not optimal, as reflected in the solutions they provide. Therefore, to optimize students' CMR abilities, assignments should combine question types and use interactive, practical, relevant, comfortable, and connected learning models. Abstract

Mathematics learning requires the support of effective instructional media and technology to enhance students’ mathematical spatial abilities. Augmented Reality (AR) has emerged as a promising technology for facilitating spatial learning, particularly in geometry-related topics. This systematic literature review aims to analyze research trends and the implementation of AR in mathematics learning with respect to mathematical spatial abilities, providing insights for future research and instructional design. The review employed the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, initially identifying 900 studies, of which 9 articles published between 2020 and 2025 met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings reveal four major clusters of interconnected research themes, with mathematical spatial ability showing strong associations with spatial visualization, mental rotation, and spatial orientation. The analysis indicates an increasing research trend in recent years, highlighting AR’s role not only as a visualization medium but also as an effective pedagogical tool that supports the development of mathematical spatial abilities through interactive three-dimensional representations. These results suggest that AR-based learning has significant potential to enhance spatial understanding in mathematics education.

Abstract

Literasi tentang Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN) di kalangan remaja, khususnya siswa SMA, masih tergolong rendah. Pemahaman terhadap sistem jaminan kesehatan sejak dini penting untuk mendorong kesadaran dan kepesertaan aktif di masa mendatang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi siswa SMA mengenai JKN dan konsep asuransi kesehatan sosial melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi edukasi menggunakan booklet, simulasi role play dengan tiga skenario kepesertaan JKN, serta pembuatan video pendek oleh siswa terpilih sebagai JKN Student Ambassadors. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 dan SMA Negeri 7 Semarang dengan total peserta 104 siswa kelas X dan XI. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor pengetahuan yang signifikan setelah intervensi edukasi. pendekatan edukasi yang interaktif dan kontekstual dapat secara efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap sistem jaminan kesehatan sosial serta membentuk karakter sebagai agen literasi di lingkungan sekitarnya.
