Abstract

Teachers should be able to stimulate students' science process skills or be able to stimulate students' creativity. This study aims to develop a practical work guideline for Basic Electronics I based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) designed to improve the science process skills of physics education students. This study uses a 4D development model, but is limited to the Develop stage, with a focus on a systematic planning process and the development of valid and practical teaching materials. The research data consists of expert validation and student responses regarding the practicality of the developed product. The instruments used were an expert validation sheet and a student response questionnaire, both using a Likert scale of 1–4. Data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the average score and percentage, then broken down into levels of validity and practicality. The results showed that the practical guidelines were assessed as “very valid” by material experts (85%) and media experts (86%). Student responses to the practicality questionnaire also showed “very practical” with a score of 88.7% and a positive response of 81.3%. These findings indicate that the PBL-based Basic Electronics I practicum guidelines, which include Kirchhoff's Current Law, Ohm's Law, and voltage dividers, are valid and practical, making them suitable for use as alternative teaching materials to support practicum activities and optimize students' science process skills. Further researchers are advised to add learning outcome evaluation instruments to determine the direct impact of PBL-based practicum guidelines on students' conceptual mastery and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education is a key effort by the Indonesian government to enhance the quality of national education. This study aims to develop and implement a STEM-Q (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Qur'an) e-Module as an innovative solution to improve science literacy in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) The e-Module integrates scientific concepts with Qur'anic values, providing students with a contextual and relevant learning experience. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data analysis techniques involve media validity/feasibility tests using quantitative (Likert scale) and qualitative analyses based on expert assessments, calculated by percentage. A practicality test was conducted through student response questionnaires, which were analyzed with quantitative descriptive methods to evaluate material, benefits, and media suitability. An implementation test with a one-group pretest-posttest design was analyzed using descriptive statistics and the N-Gain test. Evaluation procedures include expert validation, practicality testing, and analysis of science literacy outcomes using pretest and posttest data. Expert validation results indicate that the e-module is highly quality regarding content, usefulness, ease of use, and media suitability. Practicality tests show positive reception in the field, varying scores across participating schools. Data analysis showed a significant increase in students' science literacy after applying the electronic module, with an N-Gain value in the medium category. Developing and implementing the STEM-Q e-module effectively enhances science literacy in pesantren-based schools.

Abstract

This research aims to design an audio-visual learning media based on TPACK (Technological, Pedagogical, Content Knowledge) that can increase students' understanding of learning concepts in Aqidah Akhlak material and can improve the quality of learning for teachers. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) research. The development model used in this research is ADDIE including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research and development procedures that will be carried out by researchers only consist of three stages, namely analysis, design, and development. The limitation of this research is only at the development stage due to limited time and energy. This research was conducted on class XI students of MA Nizhamiyah Ploso and MAN 4 Jombang. The research instrument used material validation sheets, media validation and student response questionnaires. Data collection through product validation and student responses to the product. Data were analyzed using product feasibility tests and product response tests by students. The results of the research on TPACK-based audiovisual learning media on moral creed material produced obtained results after going through the revision and validation stages with an average score of 88% in material validation and media validation obtained an average score of 84%, the material expert validator and media expert stated that Learning media is very relevant and worth using. Then, at the test stage, students' responses to the suitability of the learning media obtained an average score of 83% with very interesting criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the students' conceptual understanding through the Four Tier Diagnostic Test in the Fiqh Subject of class XI MA Fattah Hasyim. This study uses descriptive quantitative research. Descriptive research attempts to describe an existing phenomenon, namely the implementation of the four-tier diagnostic test instrument in seeing students' misconceptions. The population and sample of the study used the Purposive Sampling Technique in Class XI F Language MA Fattah Hasyim with a total of 30 students. The collection of research data used the four-tier diagnostic test. This instrument consists of 15 validated questions. The research data were analyzed through normality tests and homogeneity tests. The results of the study of students' conceptual understanding through the four-tier diagnostic in the fiqh subject obtained a conceptual understanding of 74.89%, quite understanding 20.67%, weak concepts 1.11%, and misconceptions 3.33%. Students tend to experience misconceptions in the sub-material of gifts at number 9 with an average of 33.33%, then experience misconceptions again in the sub-material of grants at number 11 with an average of 10.00%, and in the sub-material of nafaqah and sadaqah numbers 1 and 8 with an average of 3.33%.

Abstract

One of them is learning that must be integrated with existing science and technology so that it becomes a demand for teachers to improve their competence, especially using technology in learning. One type of learning that includes the interaction of teachers, students, and technology is the TPACK (Technology, Pedagogical, Content, Knowledge) learning model. The research aims to determine the design and feasibility of the TPACK integrated learning tool in the Aqidah Akhlak lesson material for Class XII MAN 3 and MA Al-Bairuny students. This research uses a development research method according to the 10 stages of Brog and Gall. This research is limited to 5 stages and does not reach the implementation stage. Data was collected using a validation sheet which was assessed by 5 validators and data analysis was carried out through product feasibility testing. The research results showed that the TPACK integrated learning tools in the form of RPP and LKPD were very suitable for use according to the product validation results of 87%. There needs to be improvements related to adjusting time allocation in learning. Researchers hope that in the future further research can be carried out to see the effectiveness of this learning tool in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of STEMQ-based e-modules in improving students' science literacy at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Ihsan Kalijaring, Jombang. The method used is a pre-experiment with a pretest-posttest design on a single group, involving eleventh-grade students as the sample. Data was collected through a science literacy test that measured students' understanding of optical material before and after using the STEMQ-based e-module. The results showed that the use of the STEMQ-based e-module can improve students' science literacy, particularly in understanding scientific concepts related to optical material. Additionally, the integration of Qur'anic values into the e-module had a positive impact on strengthening students' religious character, supporting holistic learning. The study also found that while most students showed improvement, there was variation in the results, indicating the need for more attention to students with lower science literacy abilities. Overall, the STEMQ-based e-module was proven effective in improving science literacy in the pesantren environment and can serve as a relevant learning medium for 21st-century educational needs. This study contributes to the development of STEM-based learning that integrates religious values in pesantren education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of E-LKPD based on a constructivist approach to the dynamic electricity material for Phase F students. This study is a type of R&D (Research and Development) research with a 4D Development Model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). This study has research limitations where researchers only carry out 3 stages without the disseminate stage due to limited time and energy. This study uses trial subjects, namely validators (validating the product) and students (product response test). The validators are carried out by two lecturers and 1 teacher who act as media experts and material experts. The product response test to assess the readability of the product was carried out by 20 students of grade XI of SMA Negeri Mojoagung Jombang. The research instruments used are: a) media expert validation sheet, b) material expert validation sheet, and c) student response questionnaire. The validation results from media experts show that the feasibility level is very feasible with an average percentage of 84%. Validation by material experts gives a feasibility value of 71%, which means it is suitable for use. Student responses to the E-LKPD were very positive, with an average percentage of 88%, indicating that this medium is interesting, easy to understand, and helpful in the learning process. The E-LKPD based on a constructivist approach is suitable for use as a supporting medium for physics learning on dynamic electricity material to improve student learning outcomes and skills.

Abstract

Elementary school is the first level of formal education for students in pursuing education. Where education in elementary schools has a contribution in building students' knowledge base used at the next level of education, therefore the implementation of learning in elementary schools must run optimally so that the objectives of holding elementary school education can be achieved. Reading skills are a way to get information about something written. Reading and writing skills are skills that a person acquired after they enter school. Therefore, these two types of language skills are the main learning offerings for students in lower elementary schools. These two skills materials are presented in one initial reading and writing package. Reading and writing must be immediately mastered by students in elementary school because these skills are directly related to the entire student learning process at school. In relation to this, the community service team and SDN 1 Mancilan found 13 students from grades 3-6 who experienced difficulties in reading and writing. Based on this, the community service team carried out reading and writing guidance for the 13 students by applying learning media in the form of modules, learning media in the form of spelling circles and standing words using spelling, syllable, and word method approach. To increase students' interest in literacy, the community service team carried out socialization and training on making wall magazine for grade 5 and 6 students using the Learning by Doing or LBD method.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to a) increase the insight/knowledge of teenagers in utilizing used goods into valuable items and b) improve the skills of teenagers in making handicrafts from used goods. Approach methods for implementing community service activities include lecture and training methods. The lecture and training methods are carried out on training activities for handicrafts from used goods. There are 3 stages of community service implementation, namely a) coordination with partners, b) preparation of training tools and materials, and c) implementation of training activities. The implementation of this activity was attended by 25 people (teenagers) and took place at the Posyandu Dusun Kedungboto, Kedungotok Village, Tembelang District. Data collection in this community service activity is carried out through an assessment of the skills of the participants. The results of the implementation of community service activities were obtained: a) the skills of the youth of Kedungboto Hamlet, Kedungotok Village, Tembelang Jombang District, classified as "High" category where 76% of the participants were in the high category and 24% of the participants were in the sufficient category and b) the skill assessment of the youth of Kedungboto Hamlet, Kedungotok Village, District Tembelang Jombang also showed a high score, namely the average skill value of the participants was also at a high score wherein the aspect of the ability to understand handicraft tools and materials a score of 3.2 was obtained. In the aspect of the ability to make handicrafts, a score of 3.4 is obtained and the aspect of the ability to package handicrafts has obtained a value of 3.5. The results of community service activities that have been made by the youth, namely the product of the scarf hanger and tissue holder, are expected to be widely marketed and become the flagship product of Kedungotok Village in increasing the income and economic value of the people of Kedungotok Village, Tembelang Jombang District.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2013 menekankan pada student centered learning (pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik) sehingga pembelajaran itu menjadi inspiratif, dan  menyenangkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik setelah pembelajaran video pembelajaran berbasis PjBL-STEM untuk pembelajaran fisika materi hukum kekekalan energi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian one shot case study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA MA Al-Azar. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dari kelas X IPA MA Al-Azar sejumlah 15 peserta didik. Pada penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah instrumen penilaian pra proyek dan hasil proyek, dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif melalui uji independent sample T Independent T test yaitu uji komparatif atau uji beda untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan mean atau rerata yang bermakna antara 2 kelompok bebas yang berskala data interval atau rasio.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, video pembelajaran berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik sebesar 82% dengan -t hitung -t tabel yakni -0,67 4,3027. Video pembelajaran berbasis PjBL-STEM dapat digunakan sebagai inovasi pembelajaran di dalam kelas.
