Abstract

Villages have a very strategic role in providing services to the public. One important service is the handling of public complaints. In Mentoro Village, the complaint system is still conventional, so that reports from the community are not neatly documented, which risks hindering follow-up and slowing down the response from village officials. The community service team implemented a program with the aim of providing an effective, efficient, and transparent means of conveying the aspirations, complaints, and suggestions of the community to the village government. The community service program was designed to provide solutions through the provision of easily accessible digital-based complaint facilities, such as Google Forms and QR codes, as well as socialization of their use. The activities were carried out in three stages, namely socialization, demonstration, and assistance. Through the implementation of a complaint system based on Google Forms and QR codes, the community now has easier, faster, and more practical access to convey their aspirations, complaints, and suggestions to the village government. This system also helps village officials in documenting reports neatly, systematically, and transparently so that follow-up can be carried out more effectively

Abstract

This research aims to develop Google Sites-based learning media on Thermodynamics material and test its feasibility through expert validation. The research method used is research and development (R&D) based on the Borg and Gall model, but it is limited to the fifth stage. The development process includes identifying potential and problems, data collection, product design, validation by experts, and revision. The media was developed in the form of an interactive learning site that contains Thermodynamics material, learning videos, practice questions, AR, e-LKPD, and Augmented Reality (AR) content. Validation was carried out by a material expert and a media expert using a questionnaire in the form of a rating scale. The results of the data analysis show that the Google Sites-based learning media obtained a "Good" feasibility category with an average assessment percentage above 80%. This shows that the developed media is suitable for use as an alternative digital learning medium that is interactive, flexible, and supports the visual and systematic understanding of physics concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of an e-book based on the Numbered Team in Guided Discovery (NTGD) model in improving students’ analytical thinking skills on the topic of derivatives of algebraic functions. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design involving a single class of 25 students selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument consisted of an essay-type analytical thinking skills test measuring three indicators: the ability to identify problems, analyze relationships among concepts, and draw logical conclusions. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and a paired-samples t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated that both pretest and posttest data were normally distributed and that there was a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, with a t-value of –13.171 and a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that the use of the NTGD-based e-book had a significant effect on improving students’ analytical thinking skills on the topic of derivatives of algebraic functions. Therefore, the NTGD-based e-book is worthy of consideration as an alternative learning medium for developing higher-order thinking skills in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Abstract: Science arises and develops by including roles between theory and experiment. Physics, as part of science, is seen as a process, product, and attitude that is called the nature of science (Nature of Science / NOS). Learners obtain and construct science products in physics learning should pay attention to the NOS through Science Process Skills (SPS). This study aims to determine the level of students' understanding of integrated SPS, namely identifying and controlling variables, hypothesizing, operationally defining, graphing and interpreting data, and designing experiments. The research conducted was descriptive quantitative research with survey methods. The research subjects were students of physics teacher candidates at the University of KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah. The results showed that the integrated SPS student physics teacher candidates were still low with an average of 60.20. This shows that students have not yet reached the level of formal operational cognitive development and have not been strong in basic SPS. Students have the highest ability in the aspect of formulating hypotheses while the lowest aspects are operationally defined. An integrated effort needs to be made to increase SPS for students. A. Wahab Hasbullah.

Abstract

The issue of low environmental awareness among elementary school students often manifests in their indifference toward school gardens and waste management, which reflects limited ecological literacy and weak practical skills in sustainable living. This community service program focused on implementing a Mini Gardening Class designed to foster creativity, responsibility, and environmental care among sixth grade students at an Islamic elementary school. The objective was to integrate gardening activities as both an educational tool and a life skills training program that nurtures environmental awareness and simple entrepreneurship in agriculture. The method applied was service learning, combining direct practice, participatory learning, and reflection to strengthen character and knowledge. Students were guided through activities such as preparing organic media from banana stems, husks, and compost, creating liquid fertilizer from rice water, planting short-harvest vegetables, and maintaining their growth through daily care. The strategy emphasized experiential learning, collaborative teamwork, and integration with science and character education subjects. The results showed a significant increase in students’ knowledge and skills in gardening, higher enthusiasm for outdoor learning, and improved responsibility in maintaining the school garden. Furthermore, the program produced practical outputs including a gardening manual, sustainable planting media, and organic fertilizer that could be replicated by the wider community. This activity successfully transformed idle school land into a productive and educational space, while also instilling values of sustainability, cooperation, and independence. It is expected that the Mini Gardening Class can serve as a sustainable model of environmental education and food self-sufficiency in schools.
