Abstract

Background: The environmental conditions in the homes of toddlers suffering from diarrhea show that most of the clean water facilities do not meet health requirements, for example they are not protected from sources of pollution. Likewise, most of the latrine facilities do not have waterproof floors, are slippery, and flow directly into the river. Waste management is still far from health requirements and most rubbish bins do not have covers, there is no separation of organic and inorganic waste. Household waste water drainage channels are still close to the house, which creates a breeding ground for vectors that can carry disease. Purpose: The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between clean water facilities, latrine facilities, waste management, waste water drainage management and the incidence of diarrhea in the work area of the UPTD Puskesmas Gunungsitoli Idanoi District. Method: The type of research is quantitative and cross sectional research, researchers analyzed data from 4,485 families, obtained through questionnaire and observation methods, data were analyzed using the chisquare test with a confidence level of 95%. Disscusion and Conclusion: Results through statistical tests showed that all variables were related to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers in the UPTD work area of the Gunungsitoli Idanoi District Health Center.All variables studied are related to the incidence of diarrhea, so various efforts need to be madethe role of the community and health workers in improving the quality of a healthy environmentwhich is related to the incidence of diarrhea in the UPTD work area of the Gunungsitoli Idanoi District Health Center.

Abstract

Background: To determine the relationship between the leadership style of the head of the community health center and the job satisfaction of employees of the Sukaramai Community Health Center Technical Services Unit. Purpose: This research aims to determine the relationship between the leadership style of the head of the Community Health Center and the work motivation of the Sukaramai Community Health Center employees. Method: This type of research is quantitative research with a sample of 34 respondents. The data collection method used in data processing is using a direct questionnaire. The data processing technique uses the Chi Square test. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between leadership style and job satisfaction with a significant value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. The research results also show that there is a relationship between work motivation and job satisfaction with a significant value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, there is a significant influence between the leadership style variables on the job satisfaction of the Sukaramai Community Health Center Technical Services Unit employees. Disscusion and Conclusion: The results of the research show that the leadership style of the head of the community health center and work motivation are related to employee job satisfaction in the Sukaramai Community Health Center Technical Services Unit, so it is necessary to improve the quality of leadership through leadership training. Likewise, work motivation requires giving awards, opportunities to increase career levels, providing incentives and other efforts to increase job satisfaction.

Abstract

Background: The decrease in the number of visits by mothers of toddlers at the posyandu in the working area of ​​the UPT Puskesmas Sukaramai is something that needs to be paid attention to by health workers or cadres who work at the posyandu. Purpose: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between the performance of posyandu cadres and the satisfaction of mothers of toddlers in posyandu services in the Sukaramai Community Health Center UPT Working Area, Medan City in 2024. Method: The population of this study was the number of mothers who made regular visits to the posyandu in the working area of ​​the UPT. Sukaramai Health Center, namely 507 toddlers. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula and the accidental sampling method as many as 84 people. Hypothesis testing used the Chi-square statistical test. The research results showed that the performance of posyandu cadres in the Sukaramai Health Center UPT Working Area, Medan City, was mostly (42.9%) in the poor category, 33.3% said the cadre performance was sufficient and only 23.8% said it was good. The majority of mothers (36.9%) felt dissatisfied with the satisfaction of mothers of toddlers who received services at posyandu in the working area of ​​the UPT Puskesmas Sukaramai Medan City, 35.7% felt quite satisfied, and only 27.4% felt satisfied with the performance of the cadres. in providing services. Disscusion and Conclusion: The results of the hypothesis test show that there is a relationship between the performance of Posyandu cadres and the satisfaction of mothers of toddlers in posyandu services in the working area of ​​the UPT Puskesmas Sukaramai with a value of p=0.003 (p<0.05). Seeing that there is a relationship between the performance of posyandu cadres and the satisfaction of mothers of toddlers with posyandu services in the work area of ​​the UPT. Puskesmas Sukaramai, it is necessary to make various efforts to improve the performance of posyandu cadres, such as training cadres to increase the satisfaction of mothers of toddlers with posyandu services. This will have an impact on increasing visits by mothers of toddlers to posyandu activities.

Abstract

Background: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), which are the highest cause of death in Indonesia, include Diabetes Mellitus (DM). Purpose: The aim of the research is to analyze the relationship between activeness in participating in Prolanis activities and the quality of life of DM sufferers. The type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design approach. The research was conducted in the Onan Hasang Community Health Center working area, North Tapanuli Regency from December 2023 to March 2024. Method: The research population was all Prolanis Program participants who suffered from DM in the Onan Hasang Community Health Center working area, North Tapanuli Regency, namely 103 people. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula and the accidental sampling method as many as 82 people. Primary data collection was carried out directly through questionnaires and secondary data was obtained from the Onan Hasang Community Health Center, North Tapanuli Regency. Data analysis was carried out univariate and bivariate. Univariate analysis was carried out to obtain a description of the research variables and bivariate analysis was carried out to test the hypothesis of the relationship between activeness in participating in Prolanis activities and the quality of life of DM sufferers. Hypothesis testing uses the Chi-square statistical test. Disscusion and Conclusion: The research results showed that the activeness in participating in Prolanis activities in the Onan Hasang Community Health Center working area, North Tapanuli Regency was 47.6% not good, 30.5% not good, and 22.0% good. The quality of life of DM sufferers was 67.1% poor and only 32.9% good. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a relationship between activeness in participating in Prolanis activities and the quality of life of DM sufferers in the Onan Hasang Community Health Center working area, North Tapanuli Regency. This research provides recommendations to further increase participants' active motivation in participating in prolanis activities.

Abstract

Kedisiplinan merupakan fungsi operatif dan manajemen sumber daya manusia yang terpenting karena semakin baik disiplin karyawan, semakin tinggi prestasi kerja yang dicapainya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja dengan kinerja staf Puskesmas Tadoy Kecamatan Bolaang Timur Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian asosiasif/kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah keseluruhan staf Puskesmas Tadoy Kecamatan Bolaang Timur Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Provinsi Sulawesi Utara Tahun 2022 yakni sebanyak 34 orang dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak total populasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kehadiran terhadap kinerja staf dengan status kepegawaian sebagai variabel intervening dengan nlai t hitung (0,3180) < t tabel (1,694), tidak terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan penggunaan jam kerja terhadap kinerja staf dengan status kepegawaian sebagai variabel intervening dengan nlai t hitung (0,5944) < t tabel (1,694). Tidak terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan tanggungjawab terhadap kinerja staf dengan status kepegawaian sebagai variabel intervening dengan nlai t hitung (0,00746) < t tabel (1,694). Dengan demikian berarti bahwa status kepegawaian tidak memberikan pengaruh dalam penerapan kedisiplinan kerja. Sehingga diperlukan pengawasan yang baik dari pihak-pihak terkait dalam pelaksaanaan kedisiplinan kerja di Puskesmas Tadoy.

Abstract

Keselamatan pasien merupakan merupakan program utama yang harus dijalan rumah sakit. Angka  insiden keselamatan pasien menjadi tolak ukur berjalannya program keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit. Untuk menekan tingginya angka insiden, rumah sakit harus menerapkan budaya keselamatan pasien. Survey awal didapatkan angka Insiden Keselamatan Pasien (IKP) semester pertama tahun 2020 di RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan ditemukan ada 90 insiden yang terjadi dengan rincian Angka Kejadian Tidak Diharapkan (KTD)  19 insiden (21,11%), Kejadian Nyaris Cedera (KNC)  69 insiden (76%), Kondisi Potensi Cedera (KPC) 1 insiden (1,1%), dan Kejadian Tidak Cedera (KTC) 1 insiden (1,1%). Persentase pelaporan insiden keselamatan pasien (IKP) dari rawat inap 9,4%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan Tahun 2021. Desain penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis domain yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara jelas respon perawat terhadap penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan. Data kualitatif didapatkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 18 informan dengan kriteria inklusi dan hasil observasi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan budaya ketebukaan di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan sudah berjalan baik. Penerapan budaya pelaporan di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan sudah berjalan, namun masih banyak kendala. Penerapan budaya keadilan di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan belum berjalan cukup baik. Penerapan budaya pembelajaran di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan berjalan baik. Penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Kota Medan sudah berjalan, namun belum optimal. Rekomendasi: Membuat kebijakan tentang penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien, program edukasi berkala dan ciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung untuk pelaporan insiden keselamatan pasien, hilangkan blaming culture dan ciptakan safety culture.Kata Kunci: Penerapan Budaya Keselamatan, Pasien Rawat Inap

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pelayanan kesehatan di Indonesia dilaksanakan secara berjenjang. Kasus rujukan ke layanan sekunder untuk kasus yang seharusnya dapat dituntaskan di layanan primer masih cukup tinggi. Jika sistem rujukan di Indonesia tidak berjalan sesuai dengan peraturan yang ada akan memberikan dampak negatif bagi pemerintah, masyarakat dan penyelenggara pelayanan kesehatan.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses pelaksanaan sistem rujukan rawat jalan tingkat pertama peserta BPJS Kesehatan di Puskesmas Kartini Kota Pematangsiantar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah informan 6 orang, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan indepth interview dan studi dokumentasi.           Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk jumlah tenaga kesehatan dan non kesehatan masih kurang, ketersediaan jenis obat di puskesmas kartini sebagai fasilitas kesehatan tingkat I masih kurang, dartin segi fasilitas sudah memenuhi standar puskesmas non rawat inap, namun dari segi kelengkapan alat puskesmas kartini masih kurang memenuhi menurut standar kelengkapan peralatan, SDM di Puskesmas Kartini sudah memahami pelaksanaan rujukan rawat jalan tingkat pertama program BPJS sesuai dengan Panduan Praktis Pelayanan Kesehatan untuk BPJS dan mengetahui 144 diagnosa dan tingginya kasus rujukan dikarenakan peralatan atau sarana prasarana yang kurang memadai.Disarankan puskesmas memenuhi jumlah tenaga kesehatan dan non kesehatan, obat-obatan dan alat kesehatan sesuai dengan standar agar pelayanan kesehatan terselenggara dengan baik. Kata Kunci :  Pelaksanaan Rujukan Pasien BPJS Di Puskesmas

Abstract

Corona Virus Disease-19 (Covid-19) telah menginfeksi manusia di seluruh dunia. Untuk itu diperlukan upaya pencegahan dan penanganan yang cepat dan benar dalam mengatasinya. Pemerintah Indonesia telah menginstruksikan semua fasilitas kesehatan ikut serta dalam menanggulanginya termasuk puskesmas. Perkembangan pasien Covid-19 di Puskesmas Tegal Sari termasuk tinggi karena termasuk dalam zona merah. Mulai bulan Januari-Agustus 2021 pasien yang positif Covid-19 mencapai 257 orang dari 623 orang yang di lakukan PCR. Penelitian dengan judul “Analisis kebijakanupaya pencegahan dan penanganan pasien Covid-19 di PuskesmasTegal Sari  Kota Medan Tahun 2021”, memiliki rumusan masalah bagaimana implementasi kebijakan upaya pencegahan dan penanganan pasien covid-19 tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis upaya pencegahan dan penanganan covid-19 di Puskesmas Tegal Sari dari faktor komunikasi, sumberdaya, disposisi dan struktur birokrasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melaluiwawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Februari-Agustus 2021 dengan melibatkan 10 orang informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan yang diambil oleh pemerintah Indonesia sudah cukup baik dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan covid-19 namun implementasinya di Puskesmas Tegal Sari masih perlu peningkatan dari segi komunikasi yaitu masih kurangnya sosialisasi ke masyarakat sehingga masih banyak yang belum paham mengenai covid-19 dan juga dikarenakan adanya hambatan komunikasi karena melaui zoom meeting. Selain itu perlu juga peningkatan dari segi sumberdaya baik itu berupa tenaga maupun sarana dan prasarana. Tetapi untuk faktor disposisi dan struktur birokrasi sudah cukup baik pelaksanaannya.Kata Kunci : Analisis, Kebijakan, Pencegahan, Penanganan, Covid-19

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecemasan perawat terhadap penularan virus Corona. Desain penelitian ini adalah Cross Sectional Study. Data dikumpulkan dengan besar sampel 74 perawat rawat inap dan 18 perawat ruang isolasi Covid-19 di Ruang Rindu B  Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik Medan. Dari hasil penelitian kecemasan terhadap penularan dari 92 perawat sebanyak 10 perawat (10,9%)  cemas berat, 27 perawat (29,3%)  cemas sedang, 49 perawat (53,3%) cemas ringan dan 6 perawat (6,5%) tidak cemas. Sedangkan frekuensi penularan virus Corona dari 92 perawat, 58 perawat (63%) tertular Covid-19 dan 34 perawat (37%) tidak tertular. Hasil tabulasi silang pengaruh kecemasan terhadap penularan virus Corona diperoleh 10 perawat (10,9%) cemas berat paling banyak mengalami penularan Covid-19, 9 perawat (9,8%), dari 27 perawat (29,3%) yang mengalami cemas sedang paling banyak mengalami penularan Covid-19 sebanyak 21 perawat (22,8%), dari 49 perawat (53,3%) yang mengalami cemas ringan paling banyak mengalami penularan Covid-19 sebanyak 26 perawat (28,3%) dan dari 6 responden (6,5%) yang tidak mengalami cemas paling banyak tidak mengalami penularan Covid-19 sebanyak 4 responden (4,3%). Dari hasil uji regresi sederhana diketahui nilai t hitung diperoleh 11,518 sedangkan t tabel 0,05.Dengan demikian t hitung 11,518>t tabel 1,987 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,05, sehingga gejala cemas terhadap penularan Covid-19 pada perawat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penularan Covid-19 . Sehingga jika perawat mengalami kecemasan maka penularan terhadap virus Corona sebesar 0,124 satuan. Kata Kunci : Perawat, Kecemasan, Penularan Covid-19

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is heavily influenced by the quality of services provided by healthcare centers (Puskesmas). The World Health Organization (WHO) states that good healthcare services are those that are effective, safe, and of high quality for those in need. This study aims to identify the factors associated with patient satisfaction regarding healthcare services at Puskesmas Sukaramai in 2024. The research is a quantitatfve study with a cross-sectional design, conducted in the operational area of Puskesmas Sukaramai, Medau City, from November 2023 to July 2024. The study population includes all patients visiting the Puskesmas, totaling 619 per month. The sample size was determined using the Lemeslow formula, with a sample af 149 respondents selected through accidental sampling. Primary data were collected dfrectly through questionnaires distributed ta patients visiting Puskesmas Sukaramai. Data analysis was carried out using both univariate and bivariate methods, With hypothesis testing conducted using the Chi-square statistical test. The study results indicate significant relationships between physical evidence (tangible) and patient satisfaction (p=0.000), reliability and patient satisfaction (p=0.000), responsiveness and patient satisfaction (p=0.000), assurance and patfent satisfaction (p=0.000), and empathy and patient satisfaction (p=0. 002 < 0.05. It is recommended that healthcare workers focus on improving service cleanliness, friendliness, and efficiency at Puskesmas Sukaramai to enhance patfent satisfaction.
