Abstract

This study aims to utilize the Bayesian Regulation algorithm to predict poverty in Simalungun, Pematangsiantar, Asahan, Batu Bara, and Tebing Tinggi, as an initial step to evaluate the Green Economy policy. Poverty remains a serious issue, particularly in Pematangsiantar and Simalungun, where social inequality and limited access to basic services are prevalent. High poverty rates and limited resources present significant challenges to improving community welfare. The Green Economy policy could be a potential solution to reduce the negative environmental impact of development and enhance community well-being. This research uses secondary time-series poverty data from 2012 to 2023, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sumatra, based on the basic needs approach. The applied Machine Learning algorithm is Bayesian Regulation, used to predict poverty levels in these areas based on five architectural models (10-5-1, 10-10-1, 10-15-1, 10-20-1, and 10-25-1). The 10-25-1 model was selected as the best model due to its smallest MSE (error), 0.00218055780, compared to the other four models. This study aims to provide insights into the development of poverty in these regions and offer an initial evaluation of the effectiveness of the Green Economy policy. It is also expected to propose more effective policy recommendations for reducing poverty and supporting environmental sustainability, particularly in Pematangsiantar and Simalungun.

Abstract

Self-medication is a practice in which individuals use drugs or administer treatments without a doctor's prescription or medical supervision. This phenomenon has become a significant health issue in Indonesia, particularly in the city of Pematangsiantar and Simalungun Regency, where many residents tend to self-medicate without receiving adequate medical consultation. Therefore, the aim of this study is to analyze the predicted percentage of health independence development among residents who self-medicate in Pematangsiantar and Simalungun Regency using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm. The research data consists of time-series data on the percentage of residents self-medicating in Pematangsiantar and Simalungun Regency from 2018 to 2023, obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra. The analysis was conducted using five architecture models: 4-5-1, 4-10-1, 4-15-1, 4-20-1, and 4-25-1. The results show that the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm with the 4-15-1 architecture model provided the best performance, with the lowest Mean Squared Error (MSE) value of 0.0268691174 compared to the other architecture models. This study is expected to assist local governments by providing information on the development of the percentage of residents who self-medicate in Pematangsiantar and Simalungun Regency, enabling them to formulate the best policies for improving public health in the region in the future. This research also contributes to the development of artificial intelligence-based health prediction methods, particularly for analyzing the percentage of self-medicating residents in complex and dynamic regional contexts.

Abstract

Dewasa ini energi listrik yang tersedia di Indonesia sebagian besar dikonsumsi oleh industri. Penggunaan Energi dalam industri banyak diserap oleh pemakaian motor listrik. Penggunaan motor ini sebagai penggerak peralatan-peralatan produksi. Untuk industri berskala menengah dan besar diperlukan jumlah motor listrik yang banyak. Motor listrik yang biasa digunakan umumnya adalah motor arus bolak-balik asinkron atau biasa disebut motor induksi. Motor induksi banyak digunakan disebabkan oleh beberapa alasan, antara lain konstruksinya yang sederhana, harganya yang relatif murah. Menjaga kontinuitas atau kelancaran produksi merupakan hal pokok dalam suatu industri, hal ini berarti bahwa menjaga agar motor penggerak dapat terus beroperasi secara optimal merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Dalam pengoperasiannya sering dijumpai kondisi yang tidak diinginkan yang dapat mengganggu dan bahkan dapat merusak jalannya motor penggerak.salah satunya terjadinya beban lebih atau over load. Salah satu penyebab gangguan pada motor induksi yang digunakan sebagai penggerak conveyor BLC yaitu gangguan beban lebih. Sistem proteksi yang digunakan pada pengaman motor induksi yang digunakan sebagai penggerak conveyor BLC di PT Dizamatra Powerindo yaitu menggunakan Thermal Overload Relay. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan pengamatan yang telah dilakukan yang digunakan bahwa rating pada TOR yang terpasang adalah sebesar 340 Ampere sedangkan berdasarkan hasil perhitungan didapatkan nilai sebesar 349.68 Ampere untuk mengamankan penggerak conveyor BLC di PT Dizamatra Powerindo sudah tepat karena sesuai hasil perhitungan.

Abstract

With the rapid development of information technology, various online applications have emerged to make it easier to borrow money online, but many still don't know whether this is prohibited for religious reasons or not. The need for financing or working capital attracts borrowers to use online loan services. Therefore, the authors deem it necessary to conduct this research, the purpose of which is to analyze the legality of online credit from the perspective of Islamic law. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and the type of research is library research, which collects data or papers related to Islamic contractual law which are of a literary nature. the method used is a descriptive approach where the author describes the law of qiradh in fiqh muamalah and the data sources obtained from various fiqh books. Online loans, also known as fintech (financial technology), are financial services in the form of loans whose applications use information technology, internet networks and contracts where lenders and borrowers do not meet face to face. The results of this study show that in Islamic law online loans are permissible, based on the principle of mu'amalah, namely basically all forms of mu'amalah are permissible. Apart from what is prohibited in the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah and Fatwa of the National Sharia Council No. 117/DSN-MUI/IX/2018 states that online loans are permissible, most importantly not against Sharia with the principles of usury, gharar, maysir, tadlis, dharar, zhulm and haram.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the distribution of foreign markets. This research is a qualitative descriptive research that explains phenomena and data and previous research, then draws conclusions from the existing problems. The purpose of research using this method is to describe the problem taken more accurately and clearly based on facts. Data collection is secondary data with journals, news, and government announcements which are analyzed and explained in the discussion. The results of this study are basically, the target of international distribution (in a broad sense) is the same as in the domestic market, namely providing products according to the product items needed by buyers in the quantity, time and condition needed with the most efficient cost possible. This target can be achieved through the use of distribution channels and management activities for the physical distribution or logistics of the company's products. However, this target is more difficult to achieve, especially for global companies because of different economic developments in each country which will affect the existence of these institutions and distribution systems in each of these countries. Furthermore, this will have an impact on the distribution strategy and the costs incurred, the different consumer behaviors in each country, especially shopping behavior, differences in the distance between one country and another which will affect logistics costs and laws and regulations, especially related to the traffic flow of goods which may vary from one country to another.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of Islamic communities in preserving historical buildings in Sei Glugur Village, Pancur Batu Sub-district, Deli Serdang Regency. The study addresses how the Muslim community maintains its cultural identity through these preservation efforts. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected via observations, interviews with key informants, including the Village Head and building caretakers, as well as documentation. Guided by Indonesian Law No. 11 of 2010 on Cultural Heritage, the research reveals the community’s active role in utilizing and maintaining historical buildings. For example, the Sri Maha Laksmi Temple is still functional, a logistics warehouse was repurposed as a public school, and a Dutch-era house became the Al-Istiqomah Mosque. Factors such as the community’s long-term residence and hereditary ties to colonial-era workers contribute to their preservation awareness. However, some buildings, including the administration office and tobacco warehouse, remain underutilized. The study concludes that community-government partnerships are essential to optimize the use and preservation of these structures. Recommendations include allocating resources for adaptive reuse and emphasizing cultural tourism and local identity enhancement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by Islamic banks in increasing competitiveness in the increasingly competitive banking market. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a literature study approach, which includes analysis of various literature, articles, and previous studies related to Islamic bank marketing. The results of this study indicate that the marketing strategies implemented by Islamic banks play an important role in increasing their competitiveness, by emphasizing market understanding, customer segments, and the application of sharia principles that avoid usury practices, thus attracting customers who prioritize Islamic values.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize digital marketing for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by applying web-based SEO (Search Engine Optimization) methods to capitalize on digital economic opportunities. The main issue faced by MSMEs is low visibility on search engines, which impacts organic traffic and online market competitiveness. The proposed solution is an SEO strategy that includes content optimization, website structure, relevant keywords, quality backlinks, and search engine algorithm analysis. The system used involves a case study at Primecom Store in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra, with the implementation of SEO steps such as on-page and off-page optimization, and monitoring using Google Analytics. Over six months of implementation, the research results show an increase in organic traffic from 200 to 523 visits per month, an average keyword ranking improvement of 35%, and page visits rising from 100 to 417 per month. Additionally, quality backlinks increased from 10 to 40, while page load time decreased from 4.5 seconds to 2.8 seconds. These results demonstrate that the implementation of a web-based SEO strategy can enhance MSMEs' visibility and competitiveness in the digital market. This research provides practical recommendations for MSMEs to effectively leverage digital economic opportunities through an integrated SEO strategy.

Abstract

Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Pemula (PMP) bagi ibu-ibu PKK di Desa Penggalangan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ibu-ibu PKK dalam produksi kerajinan bordir. Banyak ibu-ibu di desa tersebut yang memiliki semangat tinggi, tetapi terbatas dalam hal keterampilan teknis, manajemen usaha, dan akses pasar. Pelatihan ini melibatkan sosialisasi teknik bordir menggunakan mesin dan pendampingan usaha dengan tujuan menciptakan produk bernilai tambah yang dapat dipasarkan secara lebih luas. Pelatihan ini berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan teknis bordir, manajemen usaha, dan strategi pemasaran. Program juga mengajarkan cara memanfaatkan platform digital seperti media sosial dan e-commerce untuk memperluas jangkauan pemasaran. Selain itu, pelatihan bertujuan untuk memberdayakan ibu-ibu PKK agar lebih mandiri dalam mengembangkan usaha mandiri para Ibu-Ibu PKK Desa Penggalangan Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan didapatkan hasil produksi dari 1 produk yaitu selendang dengan motiv bordir. Produk tersebut telah diberikan ke pihak Desa Penggalangan berdasarkan BAST yang telah ketua pelaksana laksanakan. Berdasarkan angket akhir yang telah diberikan rata-rata 85% menyatakan Puas terhadap Pelatihan Pengabdiak kepada masyarakat yang penulis laksanakan dan berharap adanya kelanjutan program kedepannya.

Abstract

Background: Ineffective waste management has become a serious problem in many areas, both urban and rural. Accumulating rubbish can pollute the environment, cause various diseases and damage the ecosystem. One effective approach to overcome this problem is through providing education about management and the establishment of community-based waste banks. Objective: Community service activities have the aim of providing education and empowering the community in waste management through the formation and management of waste banks. Method: This community service activity goes through several stages, namely identification and analysis of needs; discussions with village officials, community leaders and stakeholders; preparation of activity programs; material determination; preparation of facilities and infrastructure; providing education about waste management and socializing waste banks; establishing a waste bank management structure as well as monitoring and evaluation. Results: The result of this community service activity is an increase in community understanding about good waste management by 80% and the formation of 1 waste bank unit that can be utilized by the community as well as the formation of a management structure for waste bank management. It is hoped that by establishing a waste bank unit, the community will have access to a more structured waste management system, while also gaining economic benefits from inorganic waste management.
