Abstract

Apigenin, a flavonoid compound has been isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of methanol extract of Macaranga gigantifolia leaves. Isolation and purification of apigenin conducted using chromatographic method, and chemical structure characterized based on spectroscopic data. In vitro anticancer activity test against murine leukemia P-388 cell line showed potential activity with IC50 14.13 μg/mL.Key words: apigenin, flavones, Macaranga gigantifolia, anticancer, murine leukemia P-388 cell line.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan keuangan keluarga, pembelajaran keuangan di perguruan tinggi, sikap keuangan dan teman sebaya terhadap literasi keuangan mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif manajemen dan akuntansi S1, di tiga perguruan tinggi terbesar Kota Purwokerto, sampel ini berjumlah 93 mahasiswa aktif dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian bersumber dari kuesioner kepada responden dengan data ordinal dan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil analisa menunjukkan pendidikan keuangan keluarga berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap literasi keuangan, pembelajaran keuangan di perguruan tinggi berperngaruh positif signifikan terhadap literasi keuangan, sikap keuangan tidak berpengaruh terhadap literasi keuangan dan teman sebaya berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap literasi keuangan.

Abstract

Background: Increased lipase activity can increase the amount of monoglycerides and fatty acids absorbed by the body, this is what affects obesity. If pancreatic lipase activity is inhibited, the production of fatty acids will decrease, consequently the level of fat in the blood will also decrease.Objective: To study anti obesity potential of a single herb or a mixture of green tea and other herbs (Syzygium polyanthum. Lv, Artocarpus communis.Lv, Cinnamomum verum..Lv, Manilkara zapota.Lv, Tectona grandis.Lv) by the in vitro inhibition assay of the lipase enzyme activityMethod: A single (8 herbs) or a mixture of three herbs powder (12 formulas) was put into a tea bag with a total weight of 1.5 g to be brewed in 100 mL bottled mineral water at 70⁰-90⁰C for 10 minutes. In vitro lipase enzyme inhibition assay were conducted to measure the ability of these samples as lipase inhibitor. Orlistat used as positive lipase inhibitor. Results: There was a difference results of lipase inhibition activity between the sample of a single and a mixture of herbs. Interestingly, the results shows that formula 3 (mixture of green tea, Manilkara zapota and cinnamon). has 53.942 % inhibition, formula 9 (a mixture of green tea, Syzygium polyanthum and cinnamon) has 67.322 % inhibition and formula 12 (a mixture of green tea, Tectona grandis and cinnamon) has 56.612 % inhibition which close to lipase inhibitory activity by standard Orlistat.Conclusion: The mixture of green tea and two other herbs has a lipase inhibitory activity similar to Orlistat, when compared to the single herb. The highest lipase inhibitory activity is found in formula 9.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial-related experience, behavioral intention, spiritual intelligence and gender on family financial behavior. The population of this research was families in Sumbang Sub-district, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. A total of 174 were involved. Multiple regression analysis was used to examine the effect of financial-related experience, behavioral intentions, spiritual intelligence, and gender on family financial behavior. The results revealed that financial-related experience, behavioral intention, and gender partially had a significant positive effect on family financial behavior. Meanwhile, spiritual intelligence had no significant effect on financial behavior. The findings of this study are expected to encourage policy-maker for paying attention to factors that affect family financial behavior.

Abstract

            This study aims to anlyze effect of financial literacy, demographics factor (age, income, employment, education) and acces toward credit investment decision on informal sector business in West Purwokerto District. Sample in this study were 202 people taken by purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics test, validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis.  The results showed that financial literacy, employment, and access to capital have sign toward credit investment decision, education has an insignificantly positive effect toward credit investment decision. While both age and income have significantly negative effect toward credit investment decision.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership, work discipline on performance through organizational commitment as a mediating variable. This research is a case study at a workshop company in Purwokerto and respondent from this study were 100 employee from supervisor and technical staff. This study used data analysis techniques namely PLS (Partial Least Square) analyisis using Smart PLS 3.0. The results showed that the leadership had a negative and no significant effect on organizational commitment, work discipline had a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment. The results also show that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results showed that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results showed that organizational commitment cannot mediate between leadership and work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah ada pengaruh pelatihan, motivasi, dan stres kerja terhadap produktivitas karyawan pada PT. Hyup Sung Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini adalah karyawan produksi bagian knotting PT. Hyup Sung Indonesia  dengan jumlah 115 responden. Menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan data diperoleh dari responden dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa variabel pelatihan, motivasi, dan stres kerja secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas karyawan. Hasil uji analisis secara parsial menunjukan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan, dan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap produktivitas karyawan.Kata Kunci: Pelatihan, Motivasi, Stres Kerja, dan Produktivitas Karyawan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of locus of control, transformational leadership and spiritual work on employee performance (Case study on employees of Perum Perhutani KPH East Banyumas). The population of 145 people who are employees of the production division of Perum KPH Banyumas Timur and the sample used in this study amounted to 145 samples. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method. The research used a questionnaire. The results of this study are based on data analysis using multiple linear regression test and coefficient of determination test. 1.Locus Of Control, transformasional leadership and work spiritually have a simultaneous effect on perfomance perum perhutani KPH east Banyumas. 2.Locus Of Control has a significant effect on performance perum perhutani KPH  east Banyumas. 3.significant transformational leadership to words performance perum perhutani KPH east Banyumas. 4.work spiritual have a significant effect on performance perum perhutani KPH east Banyumas.

Abstract

Two flavonoid compounds, 5,7,3’,4’-tetrahydroxy-6-geranylflavonol (1) and kaempferol 7-O-β-glucose (2) have been isolated from the leaves of Macaranga hispida (Blume), Mull.Arg. Isolation and purification were conducted by chromatography methods and chemical structure characterization was carried out by spectroscopic methods. The 5,7,3’,4’-tetrahydrxyi-6-geranyl flavonol (1) and kaempferol 7-O-glucose (2) had moderate cytotoxic activity against murine leukemia P-388 cell lines with IC50 value of 0.22 and 101.5 μg/mL, respectively. The IC50 for antioxidant activities of (1) and (2) were 2.83 and 13.95 μg/mL, respectively. The LC50 of (1) and (2) from BSLT were 350 and >1000 μg/mL, respectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi, pelatihan kerja, pengembangan karir, dan self efficacy terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. KAI DAOP V Purwokerto. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling, jumlah sampel sebanyak 104 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan SPSS 21 dengan analisis statistik deskriptif menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, uji koefisien determinasi, uji t, dan uji f. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji simultan (F test) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara simultan antara variabel motivasi, pelatihan kerja, pengembangan karir, dan self efficacy terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji parsial (t test) membuktikan bahwa motivasi dan self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Pelatihan kerja dan pengembangan karir  tidak berpengaruh dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
