Abstract

Solar cell ialah perangkat yang bermanfaat untuk mengalihkan energi matahari menjadi energi listrik. Sekarang, ZnO dan Graphen Oxide menjadi salahsatu material yang mejanjikan sebagai katalis. Namun, pada material ZnO/Graphene Oxide rentan terjadinya efek rekombinasi akibat lebarnya celah pita energi, sehingga penambahan pengotor seperti urea diperlukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan doping urea pada film tipis Zno/Graphene Oxide terhadap struktur dan ukuran kristal serta celah pita energi yang nantinya akan dijadikan sebagai katalis pada solar cell. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan variasi jumlah doping urea yang dipakai sebesar 0,1 mol, 0,3 mol dan 0,5 mol menggunakan metoda sol-gel spin coating. Dari analisis data yang dilakukan semakin banyak jumlah urea maka ukuran kristalin semakin meningkat dari 40,52 nm menjadi 48,53 nm. Sebaliknya, semakin banyak jumlah urea, celah pita energi akan semakin mengecil dari 2,70 eV menjadi 2,66 eV. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa film tipis ZnO/ Graphene Oxide dengan penambahan pengotor urea dapat meningkatkan konduktifitas elektronik dan berpotensi sebagai katalis solar cell.

Abstract

Nagari Batubulek is one of the sugarcane plantation areas in Tanah Datar regency, West Sumatra province, Indonesia. In nagari Batubulek itself, the “Marapalam Indah” farmer group processes sugar cane using a pressing machine and has 10 stoves to cook the cane into cane sugar. Every day this farmer group processes 750 kg of sugarcane into approximately 75 kg of cane sugar and 250 kg of bagasse. Currently, the bagasse produced is burned, as a result the smoke from the burning disturbs workers and pollutes the surrounding environment. Based on the results of interviews with the heads of farmer groups and several visits to the location of the kitchen for making sugar cane, it was found that the partner's problem was that farmers' knowledge in environmental sanitation were still low. The solution offered is to increase the knowledge and skills of partner communities to process bagasse into useful materials and to improve the sanitation of a clean kitchen environment through ongoing training and assistance. After the training and counseling, it was seen that the knowledge of environmental sanitation from the farmer groups had increased.

Abstract

Teaching materials play a crucial role in the learning process and can greatly enhance the quality of education. An autonomous curriculum calls for better educational practices, and one such strategy is the Project Based Learning (PjBL) based Learner Worksheet (LKPD). The purpose of this research is to evaluate the efficacy and viability of a PBL-based LKPD on pollution in the environment lesson plan for physics class X. Using a development model modified from the 4D model, Research and Development (R&D) is the research kind employed. Three professors from FMIPA UNP's Physics department tested the efficacy of PjBL-based LKPD on environmental pollution content for upper-level physics courses. Over the course of the 2023–2024 academic year, 19 students from Fase E at SMA N 3 Bukittinggi, together with two physics instructors from that school and one from SMA N 2 Bukittinggi, participated in the practicality exam. Validity and practicality surveys were utilized as study instruments. The Aikens V formula was used to analyze the validity results, while descriptive statistics were employed to analyze the practicality results. The PJBL-based LKPD on environmental pollution for Physics phase E lessons met the legitimate criteria with an average score of 0.89846, according to the assessment analysis results from the three specialists: linguists, material experts, and media experts. With an average score of 88.286%, the PjBL-based LKPD on environmental pollution for Physics phase E learning fulfilled the practical criteria. This means that the material is valid, practical, and can be used for learning, according to the results of the practicality assessment sheet analysis, which involved 19 people from both the teaching and student populations.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate a comprehensive electronic assessment package to measure students' creative thinking abilities on the topic of Newton’s Laws. While creative thinking abilities are important to foster creativity, as one of 21st century skills, physics assessments often do not specifically measure this ability. This research addresses that gap by designing a complete and modern assessment system that uniquely integrates diagnostic, formative, and summative instruments into a single package. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, adapting the Plomp model with a focus on the preliminary and prototyping stages. The feasibility of the product was tested through content validation by three experts, with the data analyzed using the Aiken's V index. The results show that all three instruments (diagnostic, formative, and summative), achieved a high validity category. In conclusion, the developed electronic assessment package is a valid and feasible instrument for comprehensively assessing creative thinking abilities in physics

Abstract

Lumindai merupakan salah satu geosite dari Geopark Nasional Sawahlunto dengan potensi wisata alam seperti Hutan Batu, Gua Batu Kudo, Puncak Panjaringan, dan Air Terjun Batimpo yang dikelola oleh pemerintah daerah melalui POKDARWIS Talawi Hilie. Namun, karena kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap keunikan alam dan budaya mereka sendiri yang menjadi dasar dari suatu objek wisata serta keterbatasan dalam pengelolaan pariwisata, pemasaran dan sistem informasi, sehingga belum meningkatkan jumlah kunjungan turis dan memberikan dampak ekonomi yang signifikan bagi masyarakat Lumindai. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan pemerintahan Desa Lumindai dengan cara menggali dan mempelajari potensi wisata (Alami dan Kebudayaan) Desa Lumindai agar dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat setempat. Penggalian potensi ini menggunakan teknik participatory action research (PAR) dan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penggalian potensi diketahui bahwa didapatkan keunggulan alam, seni, budaya, dan kuliner. Dari segi potensi alam, Desa Lumindai memiliki objek wisata Hutan Batu, Gua Batu Kudo, Puncak Panjaringan, dan Air Terjun Batimpo. Sektor kesenian, Desa Lumindai memiliki berbagai jenis kesenian khas yang mencerminkan budaya setempat, seperti Silek Sitaralak, Barsanji, Randai, Salawat Dulang, Dabuih, Dikia Rabana, dan Tenun Songket. Sektor pertanian, desa ini memiliki potensi perkebunan tembakau berkualitas tinggi dan pohon aren penghasil nira yang menjadi bahan pembuatan gula aren. Sedangkan potensi kuliner Desa Lumindai menawarkan beragam makanan dan minuman. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Desa Lumindai memiliki potensi yang besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai destinasi wisata, taman pendidikan (education park atau edupark) dan sumber ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

Critical Thinking is one of the important components in the independent curriculum Critical thinking is essential because it allows us to analyze, assess, and evaluate information, as well as make informed and logical decisions. One way to improve students' critical thinking skills is to use teaching materials. One of the teaching materials that is expected to overcome this problem is an E-Module based on a contextual approach to Straight Motion material to improve students' critical thinking skills. The type of research used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) research with a 4D development model. In this report, the results of the research are presented at the define, design, and develop stages. At the definition stage, observations were made to several schools. In the design stage, the design of the CTL integrated e-module framework was carried out. At the development stage, validation tests and practicality tests are carried out on the products that have been developed. The data instruments used in this study were questionnaires for teachers and students, validity test sheets and practicality test sheets. The data analysis techniques used are product validity analysis using Aiken’s V and product practicality analysis. A validity value of 0.90 was obtained with valid criteria. It can be concluded that the E-Module with a contextual approach to Straight Motion material to improve students' critical thinking skills developed is valid.

Abstract

Science literacy is an important skill in modern science education, involving understanding concepts, reasoning scientifically, and applying science in everyday situations. However, the level of science literacy among students in Indonesia is still low, as seen in the 2022 PISA results, which are below the global average. This shows the need for learning models that can increase cognitive participation and form a deep conceptual understanding. Generative learning models, which focus on knowledge construction through the integration of prior knowledge with new learning experiences, are considered suitable for improving science literacy, especially when combined with cognitive conflict strategies. This study aims to examine the impact of a generative learning model that uses cognitive conflict strategies on students' science literacy on the topic of Fluids in Grade XI Phase F. This study applied a quasi-experimental method with a single group pretest-posttest design. The results show an increase in the average score from 63.75 on the pretest to 91.25 on the posttest. The hypothesis test produced a significance value of 0.000 (less than 0.05) with an N-Gain of 0.7667, which is classified as high. These findings prove that the generative learning model with cognitive conflict strategies is effective in improving students' science literacy.

Abstract

Students’ creative thinking skills in physics learning, particularly on alternative energy topics, remain relatively low due to teacher-centered instructional practices. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) on students’ creative thinking skills. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The sample consisted of two classes of grade X Phase E students at SMAN 2 Sijunjung, with class X E8 as the experimental group and X E7 as the control group. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills test administered as pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that the experimental class achieved a higher mean posttest score 76.1 compared to the control class 63.1. The t-test results indicated a significant difference at the 5% significance level. These findings indicate that the LKPD-assisted PjBL model has a significant positive effect on students’ creative thinking skills in learning alternative energy concepts.

Abstract

Puncak Pato possesses rich natural and cultural potential, yet its tourism promotion and service quality remain limited. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen local capacity in developing promotion strategies and improving tourism services. The activities involved socialization, training, focus group discussions, and field mentoring. Post-test results showed a significant improvement, with an average of 87.5% correct responses, particularly in cultural understanding, hospitality ethics, and basic photography and videography skills (90–100%). The program also produced an output in the form of promotional videos of Nagari Batu Bulek, collaboratively created and shared on social media as digital promotion media. These achievements demonstrate the community’s enhanced digital literacy, creativity, and confidence in managing local tourism independently. Overall, the program contributed to strengthening Puncak Pato’s branding and competitiveness while promoting sustainable community-based tourism development.
