Abstract

SMAN 7 Padang telah memiliki berbagai bahan ajar, termasuk bahan ajar digital yang dikembangkan oleh guru untuk proses pembelajaran. Namun, belum ada bahan ajar digital yang berbasis model PBL. Terdapat peluang untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dengan bahan ajar berbasis teknologi yang menarik, guna meningkatkan minat, motivasi, dan gaya belajar siswa dalam Fisika. Flip PDF Profesional merupakan software untuk mengonversi materi dalam format file PDF menjadi bentuk buku elektronik (e-book) yang dapat ditambahkan gambar/ilustrasi, animasi, dan video yang menarik. Dalam penelitian yang akan dikembangkan oleh peneliti yaitu pengembangan Bahan Ajar Digital Suhu dan Kalor Berbasis Model PBL berbantuan Flip Pdf Profesional Untuk Siswa Fase-F Pada E-learning SMAN 7 Padang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau yang disebut istilah Research Development (R&D), menggunakan skala Aiken dalam mengolah data. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu Bahan Ajar Digital Suhu dan kalor berbasis model PBL berbantuan flip pdf professional  untuk siswa fase F telah diperoleh produk yang valid dan layak digunakan setelah melakukan evaluasi oleh ahli dengan rata-rata nilai validitas sebesar 0,85. Hasil pengujian praktikalitas dari produk bahan ajar digital suhu dan kalor berbasis model model PBL berbantuan flip pdf professional untuk siswa fase F telah didapatkan produk yang praktis dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran Fisika. Hal ini dibuktikkan dari penilaian praktikalitas yang diberikan kepada guru dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 98,9% kategori sangat praktis, kemudian disebarkan kepada satu kelas di kelas XI dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 88,7% berada dalam kategori sangat praktis.

Abstract

Guru fisika SMAN 7 Padang pada umumnya hanya mengandalkan bahan ajar berupa buku cetak dan PPT dalam pembelajaran sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya minat belajar peserta didik. Mengingat permasalahan tersebut terdapatnya peluang untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran fisika, melalui terciptanya e-modul interaktif berbantuan heyzine menjadi solusi dari permasalahan ini. Hezine flipbook menjadikan modul interaktif dapat memuat gambar, video, virtual lab serta animasi yang menarik sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa yang rendah serta memenuhi keberagaman gaya belajar peserta didik. Dalam penelitian yang akan dikembangkan oleh peneliti yaitu Pembuatan E-Modul Interaktif Terintegrasi Model Inkuiri Terbimbing pada Materi Fluida Statis dan Dinamis berbantuan Heyzine flipvook untuk Siswa Fase F SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE, menggunakan skala Aiken’s V dalam mengolah data. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh produk yang valid dan layak setelah melakukan evaluasi oleh tenaga ahli dengan rata-rata nilai validitas sebesar 0,96 berkategori valid. Kemudian hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil penilaian praktikalitas kepada 2 guru fisika yaitu sebesar 99,2% kategori sangat praktis, dan kepada satu kelas Fase F dengan rata-rata persentase sebesar 94,58% kategori sangat praktis. Sehingga produk ini terbukti praktis dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

The rising global demand for energy, particularly from fossil fuel sources, has triggered an energy crisis that necessitates the exploration of alternative solutions. One promising effort is the utilization of renewable energy in the form of biogas, which can be produced from agricultural waste such as sugarcane bagasse and livestock waste such as horse manure. This study aims to analyze the effects of horse manure and the EM-4 biostarter on the quality of the biogas produced. An experimental method was employed using a batch-type digester reactor with three different feedstock compositions: 50% sugarcane bagasse (SB):50% horse manure (HM), 40%SB:60%HM, and 30%SB:70%HM. The parameters observed included initial and final pH, gas pressure, gas temperature, and flame color testing. The results show that the addition of EM-4 biostarter accelerates the gas formation process, yields higher gas pressure, and improves the overall quality of the biogas. Moreover, increasing the proportion of horse manure enhances the decomposition of sugarcane fibers, leading to greater gas volume production. The study concludes that the optimal combination of horse manure and EM-4 biostarter is effective in improving both the quality and quantity of biogas, while supporting waste utilization as a renewable energy source. The practical implications of these findings emphasize the importance of managing the digester environment safely to prevent leakage and external disturbances during biogas production.

Abstract

RAM (Radar Absorbing Material) diperlukan untuk menyerap gelombang mikro dalam teknologi radar. Secara umum, material penyerap memiliki nilai permeabilitas dan permitivitas yang tinggi. Oksida grafena adalah salah satu material yang dapat diaplikasikan sebagai material penyerap. Oleh karena itu, penelitian dilakukan pada sintesis oksida grafena dari limbah tongkol jagung menggunakan metode Hummer yang dimodifikasi. Variasi suhu sintering diterapkan untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap sifat penyerapan gelombang mikro. Suhu sintering yang digunakan dimulai dari 300˚C, 350˚C, 400˚C dan 450˚C. Karakterisasi oksida grafena dari limbah tongkol jagung menggunakan XRD, FTIR, dan VNA. Pada hasil uji VNA, nilai kehilangan refleksi maksimum oksida grafena adalah -40,35 dB pada frekuensi 10,20 GHz dengan koefisien absorpsi 99,03% dan bandwidth absorpsi 1,27 GHz. Oleh karena itu, oksida grafena dari limbah tongkol jagung berpotensi diaplikasikan sebagai material penyerap gelombang mikro.

Abstract

The utilization of shrimp shell waste as a source of chitosan represents a sustainable approach to developing bio-based materials while increasing the economic value of fisheries by-products. This study aimed to synthesize chitosan from shrimp shells (Litopenaeus vannamei) and evaluate its effectiveness as a natural preservative for beef. Chitosan was synthesized through deproteinization using 1 N NaOH, demineralization using 1 N HCl, and deacetylation using 50% NaOH. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed six diffraction peaks with a dominant peak at 2θ = 19.042° and crystallite sizes ranging from 4.36 to 4.57 nm, indicating a monoclinic crystal structure. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) confirmed the presence of characteristic chitosan functional groups, including hydroxyl, amine, amide, and β-(1→4)-glycosidic bonds. Preservation performance was evaluated by immersing beef samples in 1% chitosan solution for 0, 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes, followed by storage at room temperature for five days. The results showed that immersion treatments of 45–60 minutes were most effective in maintaining texture, odor quality, and pH stability. These findings demonstrate the potential of shrimp shell-derived chitosan as a safe, environmentally friendly, and economically valuable natural preservative.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding Buton Asphalt on the mechanical properties of Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixtures based on Marshall test parameters. The variations of asphalt content used were 0%, 2%, and 5%. Each variation was tested using the Marshall method to obtain the values of Stability, Flow, Void in Mix (VIM), Void in Mineral Aggregate (VMA), Void Filled with Asphalt (VFA), and Marshall Quotient (MQ). The results show that the addition of Buton Asphalt affects the improvement of the mixture characteristics. The highest stability value was obtained at 5% Buton Asphalt content, which was 1,074 kg, while the lowest flow value was also found at 5%, which was 2.48 mm, indicating that the mixture becomes stiffer and more stable. The VIM value decreased from 4.7% at 0% content to 4.2% at 5% content, indicating that the air voids in the mixture became smaller. The VMA value also decreased from 16.2% at 0%, 15.8% at 2%, and 15.1% at 5%, while the VFA value increased from 71% to 72.18%. The highest Marshall Quotient (MQ) value was obtained at 5% Buton Asphalt content, which was 433 kg/mm, indicating that the mixture has better stiffness and resistance to deformation. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the addition of 5% Buton Asphalt provides the best mixture characteristics for the AC-WC layer.

Abstract

The performance of asphalt mixtures is strongly influenced by the composition of their constituent materials, particularly aggregate size and mixing temperature during production. In many tropical and subtropical regions, asphalt pavements frequently experience rutting, reduced stability, and changes in viscoelastic properties due to high environmental temperatures and heavy traffic loads. These conditions can significantly affect pavement durability, making it essential to produce asphalt mixtures that meet established technical standards. This study aims to analyze the effect of variations in aggregate size distribution and mixing temperature on the Marshall characteristics of Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) mixtures. The research employs the Marshall test method to evaluate the load-bearing capacity and stability of hot asphalt mixtures and to assess their compliance with ASTM/SNI standards. The results indicate that mixtures with standard aggregate gradation achieve stability values of 985 kg at 120°C, 1055 kg at 140°C, and 1107 kg at 160°C. As mixing temperature increases, flow values decrease, while the Marshall Quotient (MQ) increases, indicating improved stiffness. Higher temperatures also enhance compaction, reducing VIM and VMA while increasing VFA. Conversely, non-standard aggregate gradations result in several parameters failing to meet ASTM/SNI requirements, confirming that standard gradation produces superior asphalt performance.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate a comprehensive electronic assessment package to measure students' creative thinking abilities on the topic of Newton’s Laws. While creative thinking abilities are important to foster creativity, as one of 21st century skills, physics assessments often do not specifically measure this ability. This research addresses that gap by designing a complete and modern assessment system that uniquely integrates diagnostic, formative, and summative instruments into a single package. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, adapting the Plomp model with a focus on the preliminary and prototyping stages. The feasibility of the product was tested through content validation by three experts, with the data analyzed using the Aiken's V index. The results show that all three instruments (diagnostic, formative, and summative), achieved a high validity category. In conclusion, the developed electronic assessment package is a valid and feasible instrument for comprehensively assessing creative thinking abilities in physics

Abstract

Students’ creative thinking skills in physics learning, particularly on alternative energy topics, remain relatively low due to teacher-centered instructional practices. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) on students’ creative thinking skills. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The sample consisted of two classes of grade X Phase E students at SMAN 2 Sijunjung, with class X E8 as the experimental group and X E7 as the control group. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills test administered as pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and independent sample t-tests. The results showed that the experimental class achieved a higher mean posttest score 76.1 compared to the control class 63.1. The t-test results indicated a significant difference at the 5% significance level. These findings indicate that the LKPD-assisted PjBL model has a significant positive effect on students’ creative thinking skills in learning alternative energy concepts.

Abstract

The integration of information and communication technology (ICT) in education has encouraged the use of electronic assessments to support the evaluation of higher-order thinking skills, particularly critical thinking in physics learning. However, existing assessments are still limited in effectively measuring these skills. This study aims to develop a cognitive conflict-based electronic assessment on work and energy and to determine its content validity and practicality in evaluating high school students’ critical thinking skills. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using Plomp’s model, which consists of preliminary research, development or prototyping, and assessment stages. The subjects were physics teachers and students of State Senior High School 10 Padang with varying levels of critical thinking skills. The instruments included a validation sheet and a practicality questionnaire. Content validity was analyzed using Aiken’s V index, while practicality was analyzed using percentage techniques. The results showed that the developed assessment has a high level of content validity, with an average Aiken’s V value of 0.85, categorized as “highly valid,” and is highly practical, with scores above 96% across all evaluation stages. Therefore, the assessment is suitable for evaluating students’ critical thinking skills in physics learning and can be used as an effective tool to support the improvement of learning evaluation quality.
