Abstract

This study aims to design, create, and assess an electronic market at the Marine and Fisheries Agency of Central Tapanuli Regency as a means to improve the economy of coastal towns. The main objective is to increase market access, product value, and income of coastal communities in the marine and fisheries sector. This R&D system development process uses the Waterfall approach, with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method used to assess user satisfaction. The system was developed using the Laravel framework, CSS, Figma, and MySQL. Suggestions for the long-term development of this e-marketplace include collaboration, local adaptation, and user education. Keywords: E-marketplace, Coastal economy, System Usability Scale (SUS).

Abstract

PT Astra Daihatsu Motor or commonly abbreviated as ADM is the Sole Agent Brand Holder (ATPM) of Daihatsu cars in Indonesia. Xenia car is one of the most popular cars in Indonesia. Although there are many Xenia car users, it is not uncommon for Xenia cars to experience damage caused by the ignorance of car users, where the car user only knows how to use it but does not know how to maintain the car properly and correctly. Before damage occurs to the car, the car usually experiences several symptoms of damage that the user does not realize. With that, there are often difficulties experienced by users to find out the type of damage to the car. The purpose of applying and designing applications in this study is to apply the Case Based Reasoning method with the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm to detect damage to Xenia cars and to design and build applications with the Case Based Reasoning method with the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm to detect damage to web-based Xenia cars. This research uses the Research and Development method. Based on the results of research from previous cases, the new case has similarities with 5 cases and the highest similitude value is with the highest type, namely the type of Injector Malfunction damage with a value of 0.625 or around 62.5%. This expert system application can detect and determine the results of Xenia car engine damage detection by applying a method that looks for the closest similarity value of new cases to old cases, namely the Case Based Reasoning method and the K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm looking for the closest neighbors of the same weight value. This web-based expert system can be used by users to find the results of Xenia Car engine damage detection experienced by determining the symptoms that are available in web-based applications. This web-based application can also provide solutions from the detection results of the type of Xenia car engine damage.

Abstract

The technological advancements of the past have transformed various sectors, including information, education, and commerce. Many utilized the internet to enhance business and trade efficiency. Pantai Gading Village was a significant contributor to agricultural production. Its residents traditionally sold agricultural products locally, resulting in a narrow market scope. Consequently, a web-based E-commerce platform was developed using the User Experience Design Process to aid farmers and expand the market for agricultural products in the village. E-commerce facilitated cost reduction for companies, consumers, and management while enhancing service quality and speed. Through this platform, farmers could promote and sell their products online, overcoming the limitations of the local market and enhancing the village's global visibility. User Experience Design (UXD) improved user satisfaction with products through enhanced usability, accessibility, and satisfaction in interactions. This approach yielded designs that were neat, simple, intuitive, flexible, and appealing, providing users with a unique experience and differentiating products or services from competitors. The author of this study employed the Research and Development (R&D) methodology and the Waterfall development method. The system developed incorporated user experience design processes derived from questionnaire results. Users expressed the need for features such as live chat for each product, shipping options, displaying reviews, and offering Cash on Delivery payment method. This system facilitated and streamlined the marketing of agricultural products, thus boosting sales in Pantai Gading Village.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of technology and information, one of which is the internet. Where users can share opinions and discuss various topics or problems around them, namely social media One of the news items that frequently appears as a trending topic on X is the Vina film controversy. However, with the large amount of review data available, it will be difficult to process manually. Therefore, sentiment analysis is needed to see whether people's tendencies toward the Vina film case are positive or negative. The stages carried out were data collection taken via web scrapping with an initial amount of data of 833 and processed through the preprocessing stage, including cleaning, case folding, normalization, stopword removal, tokenization, and stemming, the data became 830. The application of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in this research uses the probability method to classify and predict 664 training data and 166 test data, with the help of the Python library. The accuracy calculation results show quite good performance with TF-IDF weighting producing an accuracy of 78%, precision of 80%, and recall of 90%, f1-score of 84%. Analysis from this research shows that the dominance of negative sentiment is 517 while positive sentiment is 313. The amount and quality of training data play an important role in system quality, where high data quality provides better accuracy in predicting sentiment classes.

Abstract

According to data from the Ministry of Health in 2019, the number of hypertension patients continues to rise and is projected to reach approximately 1.5 billion by 2025. Additionally, an estimated 9.4 million people die each year due to hypertension and its complications. The current challenge is the difficulty faced by the public in understanding the information contained in the data, leading to a decrease in awareness of the importance of maintaining health to prevent and control hypertension. This research proposes the use of the K-Means clustering algorithm with spatial data visualization techniques to communicate information from the data more effectively to the public. The proposed method allows the K-Means clustering algorithm to group regions based on hypertension characteristics such as prevalence and risk factors, while spatial data visualization techniques are used to display the data in the form of a geographic map of hypertension areas. The results of applying this method show that the K-Means clustering algorithm produces five clusters that reflect different characteristics of hypertension, and spatial data visualization techniques generate a geographic map of hypertension areas with five different colors representing the highest to lowest characteristic groups of hypertension. This research provides a clear and easily understandable way to communicate information from the data, thereby assisting the public in efforts to prevent and control hypertension and its risk factors.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a lifelong chronic disease that significantly affects people's quality of life and incurs significant medical costs. Diabetes can lead to various complications of dangerous diseases and requires long-term treatment. Lack of public knowledge about the general and specific symptoms of Diabetes Mellitus causes delays in handling Diabetes Mellitus. This study aims to form an expert system application based on WEB that can diagnose Diabetes Mellitus from the symptoms experienced by patients in accordance with the provisions of an expert, through the application of the Dempster Shafer method. The results of this study show that the application of the Dempster Shafer method resulting from disease symptoms that have been inputted, namely in the form of disease symptoms that have been processed by the system and have been refined into a web-based application. From this application, it is expected to help the general public in the examination of Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

The rise of the coffee trend means that coffee shop entrepreneurs must be able to compete with other coffee shops. Dialog Koffie still uses a manual ordering system in its sales process, which causes problems such as duplicate orders and mixed order notes due to the large number of notes. Apart from the ineffectiveness of the ordering system, customers do not get the privilege of coming to Dialog Koffie frequently. This makes shop owners have to provide different services to satisfy their customers. In this case, a different business strategy is needed that has not been used by other coffee shops. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a model of approach to customers that is able to solve the problems above. By implementing CRM in the E-Membership application, customer loyalty will also increase because this system provides various features such as viewing menus and promos, place reservations, as well as a point system for every drink purchase, where the points are collected and can be exchanged for the menu the customer wants. The system that has been built can help shop owners maintain good relations between the shop and customers, get as many new customers as possible, and provide satisfactory service to customers by simplifying the ordering system and point exchange system that has been created.

Abstract

The Faculty Student Senate is a student organization that holds a control function as well as a legislative body and the highest representative of students on campus. The Faculty Student Senate also recruits several new members in accordance with predetermined criteria, the number of students who register to become SEMAF members is very large. If decision making is done manually, it is feared that the selection team for new members does not select objectively or nepotism occurs in the selection process. The purpose of this research is to Apply the WASPAS and ROC Methods to facilitate the selection of new members using the WASPAS method and ROC Weighting and Design and build a Website-based Decision Support System. This research uses the RnD Research and Development method. Based on the research results, the highest value is 0.9850, namely A23 and the lowest value is 0.4641, namely A30. By creating a WEB-based system using the ROC and WASPAS methods can produce an optimum value. Then the value can be used to determine the ranking on the SEMAF new member recruitment system

Abstract

Indonesia can be a country of justice based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Everything related to government has been regulated in the Law. Indonesia itself has gone through three phases of government since proclaiming Independence on August 17, 1945. These three phases, specifically, the old order, the new order, and the reformation, still have an impact today. This is different from the previous two phases, where all choices were centered on the government. In this study, the method used in classifying the 2024 general election commission is Support Vector Machine (SVM). The SVM method is one of the advantages that can be implemented relatively easily, because the process of determining the support vector can be formulated in the confusion matrix. Sentiment analysis and opinion mining are fields of study that analyze a person's opinion, a person's sentiment, a person's evaluation, but in its implementation there are many things that are considered by voters that this election is not in accordance with existing rules. Starting from the aroma of fraud voiced by netizens, the non-neutrality of law enforcers against one of the candidates for the presidential and vice presidential pairs, and the implementation that is not JURDIL or Honest and Fair. Everything is widely voiced through social media, one of which is twitter. It is known that of the 2084 data obtained from tweets about the KPU, 29.5% are positive sentiments and 70.5% are negative sentiments. The results of sentiment classification about KPU using the Support Vector Machine algorithm that matches the actual data amounted to 307 data out of a total of 418 test data The accuracy value of the sentiment classification about KPU using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm obtained is 73%.

Abstract

Learning style refers to an individual's process of understanding and absorbing information, which is influenced by sensory preferences, problem-solving strategies, and communication styles. This research explains the learning styles of high school students by utilizing the theory of multiple intelligences, identifying seven aspects: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, social-interpersonal, and solitary-intrapersonal. With a better understanding of students' learning styles, teachers can devise more effective teaching methods, improving learning outcomes. This research aims to apply the Dempster-Shafer method in an expert system to identify the learning styles of high school students, especially in SMA Swasta Dharmawangsa Medan. Through interviews with guidance teachers and questionnaires from grade X students, the expert system will provide information and customized learning methods, improving teacher understanding and student participation. With PHP-based web technology, the system is designed to simplify the process and provide a user-friendly interface and efficient data management, in the hope of creating a more productive and supportive learning environment.
