Abstract

Indonesia can be a country of justice based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. Everything related to government has been regulated in the Law. Indonesia itself has gone through three phases of government since proclaiming Independence on August 17, 1945. These three phases, specifically, the old order, the new order, and the reformation, still have an impact today. This is different from the previous two phases, where all choices were centered on the government. In this study, the method used in classifying the 2024 general election commission is Support Vector Machine (SVM). The SVM method is one of the advantages that can be implemented relatively easily, because the process of determining the support vector can be formulated in the confusion matrix. Sentiment analysis and opinion mining are fields of study that analyze a person's opinion, a person's sentiment, a person's evaluation, but in its implementation there are many things that are considered by voters that this election is not in accordance with existing rules. Starting from the aroma of fraud voiced by netizens, the non-neutrality of law enforcers against one of the candidates for the presidential and vice presidential pairs, and the implementation that is not JURDIL or Honest and Fair. Everything is widely voiced through social media, one of which is twitter. It is known that of the 2084 data obtained from tweets about the KPU, 29.5% are positive sentiments and 70.5% are negative sentiments. The results of sentiment classification about KPU using the Support Vector Machine algorithm that matches the actual data amounted to 307 data out of a total of 418 test data The accuracy value of the sentiment classification about KPU using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm obtained is 73%.

Abstract

Learning style refers to an individual's process of understanding and absorbing information, which is influenced by sensory preferences, problem-solving strategies, and communication styles. This research explains the learning styles of high school students by utilizing the theory of multiple intelligences, identifying seven aspects: visual, auditory, kinesthetic, verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, social-interpersonal, and solitary-intrapersonal. With a better understanding of students' learning styles, teachers can devise more effective teaching methods, improving learning outcomes. This research aims to apply the Dempster-Shafer method in an expert system to identify the learning styles of high school students, especially in SMA Swasta Dharmawangsa Medan. Through interviews with guidance teachers and questionnaires from grade X students, the expert system will provide information and customized learning methods, improving teacher understanding and student participation. With PHP-based web technology, the system is designed to simplify the process and provide a user-friendly interface and efficient data management, in the hope of creating a more productive and supportive learning environment.

Abstract

E-commerce is the activity of buying and selling goods or services carried out electronically via the internet, involving online transaction, payment and delivery processes. The Azzahra Hijab Medan Shop is one of the shops engaged in selling hijabs in Medan City which still uses a conventional shop model without utilizing e-commerce to support the sales system. The transaction process in this shop is still done manually, from customers selecting goods to recording transactions in a book. Customers from outside the area can place online orders via the WhatsApp service with the shop owner providing a product photo catalog in stages. Therefore, an e-commerce system is needed to support online sales. The User Centered Design (UCD) method is important in designing e-commerce, starting with involving the user context in the early stages of development and involving system testing, enabling the creation of an optimal and user-friendly design. With the implementation of this E-Commerce based sales system, it is hoped that it will facilitate sales with more efficient transactions, faster data processing, help sales of goods become more accurate, and make it easier for consumers to order products.

Abstract

The MABAC (Multi-Attributive Border Approximation area Comparison) method is a multi-criteria decision making technique that evaluates alternatives based on distance from the border approximate area. This method allows a more objective assessment by considering various criteria and their importance. This research aims to implement the MABAC method in determining students who are worthy of receiving scholarships at SDN 15001 Kolang Nauli 2. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a waterfall model, this research develops a web-based system to process data for 10 sample students based on five assessment criteria. The MABAC method is applied through a series of stages, including forming a decision matrix, normalization, weighting criteria, determining limit values, and calculating alternative distances. The research results show that the system succeeded in implementing the MABAC method accurately, producing objective rankings of scholarship recipient students. Gavin Manuel Hutabarat was selected as the strongest candidate with the highest score of 14,567. This implementation proves the effectiveness of the MABAC method in improving the decision-making process for scholarship allocation, offering a more transparent and measurable solution for schools.

Abstract

Tahfidz Ulumul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Medan is an Islamic religious educational institution that focuses on educating memorizers of the Al-Qur'an. However, not all students can graduate on time according to the study period taken, resulting in a buildup of students who graduate not on time. The determination of student graduation is based on several criteria that students must pass while studying at the Tahfizd Ulumul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. Therefore, the C4.5 algorithm is a machine learning method used to build a decision tree based on 160 students' data. The data used in this research includes various factors that influence students' graduation, such as Makhorijul Letters, Memorizing, Discipline, and Relevant lafadz. The results of this research show that the C4.5 algorithm is able to provide accurate predictions regarding the graduation of Tahfidz Qur'an students with an accuracy rate of 98.21%. Where, based on the results of processing student data, it was found that 107 data of students graduated on time and 53 did not graduate on time.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health issue caused by insufficient nutrition over an extended period, especially in young children. This study aims to develop a web-based stunting data classification system using a combination of K-Means Clustering and K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) algorithms. The dataset used is sourced from the Health Department of Medan City in 2021-2024, consisting of 683 data entries. The research process includes problem identification, data gathering conducted through observations and interviews, data preprocessing using StandardScaler, and splitting the dataset into 70% training and 30% testing datasets. The K-Means technique is utilized for data segmentation based on z-score values. The clustering results are then used as labels for classification with K-NN. The system implementation shows a classification result with a distribution of 6.9% for mild stunting, 25.8% for moderate stunting, and 67.3% for severe stunting. The results indicate that the combination of K-Means and K-NN produces more accurate classification compared to using a single method. This study is expected to assist the Health Department of Medan City in analyzing stunting data more efficiently and contribute to the future development of stunting classification systems.

Abstract

In the fashion retail industry, inventory management is a major challenge due to fluctuating and unpredictable customer demand. Errors in inventory planning may lead to overstocking or stockouts, increased storage costs, and decreased customer satisfaction. This study aims to develop a decision support system using the Sugeno fuzzy logic method to optimize clothing inventory. The input variables consist of initial stock, incoming goods, and outgoing goods, which are processed through fuzzification, inference, and defuzzification stages to produce the predicted final stock. Experimental results show that the Sugeno fuzzy model achieves better accuracy compared to conventional methods, with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 17.99%, equivalent to a prediction accuracy of 82.01%. The main contribution of this research lies in the application of the Sugeno fuzzy method to local fashion retail inventory management, which has generally been carried out manually. This approach enables the system to provide more precise stock recommendations, thereby helping stores reduce the risk of overstocking and stockouts, improve operational efficiency, and enhance business competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah konten yangbermanfaat bagi orang-orang yang melihat konten tersebut. Konten tersebutjuga memiliki strategi yang dimana didalamnya terdapat rancangan bahwakonten tersebut memiliki sebuah sumber yang jelas dan terarah. Denganberkembangnya waktu yang sekarang ini, membuat media sosial juga terusberkembang. Terutama pada media sosial Tiktok, platform yang dimanamenyediakan vidio-vidio pendek serta berita-berita yang sedang viral. Tiktokmenjadi salah satu platform yang digemari semua orang, baik itu anak-anak,remaja, maupun orangtua. Artikel ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisissebuah penerapan metode Enterprise Content Management (ECM) dalamsebuah pengelolaan konten vidio tiktok di TVRI Sumut, yang dimanaperusahaan itu merupakan lembaga penyiaran publik. Dalam penelitian iniECM menjadi salah satu peran yang sangat penting dikarenakan ECM dapatmeningkatkan sebuah efektivitas dan kerjasama dalam tim, juga dapatmempercepat hasil produksi, serta meningkatkan kualitas dalam kontentersebu. Meskipun banyak sekali tantangan yang harus dihadapi, ECMterbukti menjadi sangat efektif dalam pembuatan konten, yang dimanakonten tersebut mencerminkan sebuah nilai-nilai dari TVRI.

Abstract: One of the keys to the success of a company or agency in achieving certain goals is the workforce. However, finding the ideal partner that suits the needs of the organization or agency is difficult. Therefore, the selection of suitable potential partners is very important in order to be able to recruit partners who are competent in their fields and meet the company's expectations and meet all stages carried out by the organization. The Preference Selection Index method is the method used in selecting employees. The option that returns the highest Preference Index value after all criteria and alternatives have been calculated is the best option, or options selected. Based on research findings, Andreyanto Wijaya's alternative is the best alternative to be chosen as the company's partner with the highest score, which is 0.95346.Keywords: decision support system; PSI; recruitment; partner Abstrak: Salah satu kunci keberhasilan suatu perusahaan atau instansi dalam mencapai tujuan tertentu adalah tenaga kerjanya. Namun, menemukan Mitra ideal yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan organisasi atau instansi memang sulit. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan calon Mitra yang sesuai sangatlah penting agar dapat merekrut mitra yang berkompeten di bidangnya dan memenuhi harapan perusahaan serta memenuhi seluruh tahapan yang dilakukan oleh organisasi. Metode Preference Selection Index adalah metode yang digunakan dalam menseleksi pegawai. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah berjalan begitu cepat hingga mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan. Pada pendidikan tinggi, teknologi dan sistem informasi dibutuhkan guna memenuhi kebutuhan informasi yang cepat dan dapat memecahkan masalah dengan efektif dan efisien. Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara ialah institusi yang memakai sistem informasi dalam proses akademiknya yaitu portal SIA. Hal yang penting diperhatikan dari suatu sistem informasi yaitu kualitas dari informasi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengevaluasi kualitas portal SIA dengan metode WebQual 4.0, serta merancang dan membangun sistem informasi evaluasi dan memakai metode waterfall sebagai metode pengembangan system nya. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa penelitian ini memperoleh hasil yang valid juga reliabel pada tahap analisis data dengan nilai Cronbach Alpha sebesar 1,04. Ada dua soal yang mendapatkan kategori sangat baik yaitu Q1 dengan rata-rata 4,26 dan Q20 dengan rata-rata 4,33, dan untuk skor akhir keseluruhan Portal SIA sebesar 88,09%
