Abstract

As the Electricity is one of the most important needs for human life. PT PLN (Persero) as a company providing electricity needs has an obligation to provide electricity to the people of Indonesia. The loss of energy that occurs in the process of distributing electricity to customers is still one of the main problems that is still being faced by PLN. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to reduce the losses so that the reliability of the electric power system is getting better. Currently, an AMR (automatic meter reading) system has been implemented. for calculating distribution losses, customer load analysis, observing effectively the possibility of irregularities in the measurement of electrical energy at customers. This research aims to calculate the amount of non-technical losses and potential losses with the AMR system at PT Delta Dunia Textile. The non-technical shrinkage calculation method used in this study is the loading percentage approach for each phase. After carrying out the measurements, the results were obtained, namely the current in the R phase was not measured, as a result, PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Pekalongan experienced a loss of underbilled power. The reason for not measuring the current in the R phase is because the Current Transformer (CT) cable is almost broken, so you have to rewiring the CT cable again. By implementing this AMR system, it is easy to find out the customer's energy usage load profile data so that when an anomaly occurs in the measuring device it can be handled immediately.

Abstract

Sistem presensi pegawai yang menggunakan RFID dan NodeMCU berbasis Telegram merupakan sebuah sistem yang dirancang untuk otomatisasi proses pencatatan kehadiran pegawai. Sistem ini menggunakan teknologi RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) dan NodeMCU (ESP8266) untuk menjalankan fungsinya. Dalam sistem ini, kartu E-KTP digunakan sebagai identitas pegawai dan informasi kehadiran dikirimkan melalui bot Telegram. Sistem ini terdiri dari beberapa komponen utama. NodeMCU berperan sebagai pembaca RFID dan pengirim pesan ke bot Telegram. Modul RFID digunakan untuk mendeteksi kartu E-KTP. Sedangkan bot Telegram berfungsi sebagai media komunikasi untuk mengirimkan informasi kehadiran. Ketika seorang pegawai meletakkan kartu E-KTP di dekat pembaca RFID, NodeMCU akan membaca nomor seri kartu tersebut dan mengirimkannya ke bot Telegram melalui koneksi internet WiFi yang tersedia. Bot Telegram akan menerima pesan tersebut dan mencatat waktu kehadiran pegawai. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan dengan menempelkan kartu ke RFID reader, jika kartu tersebut valid, maka akan mengirimkan pesan ke bot Telegram yang berisi presensi berhasil dan buzzer sebagai indikator suara akan berbunyi selama 1 detik, sedangkan jika kartu tidak valid, maka akan mengirimkan pesan ke bot Telegram yang berisi presensi gagal dan buzzer akan berbunyi pendek sebagai tanda bahwa kartu tidak valid. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi RFID dan NodeMCU, sistem ini menyediakan kemudahan dalam melakukan presensi pegawai secara otomatis dan dapat terintegrasi dengan sistem manajemen kehadiran yang lebih besar. Selain itu, penggunaan bot Telegram sebagai antarmuka komunikasi memungkinkan pengguna untuk mendapatkan informasi presensi secara real-time dan memberikan fleksibilitas dalam mengelola dan melacak data presensi.

Abstract

Machine learning dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi suatu data. Support Vector Machine merupakan bagian dari teknik data mining yang dipergunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memprediksi hubungan antara variabel pada suatu dataset. Metode ini efektif untuk melakukan prediksi baik itu untuk klasifikasi ataupun analisis regresi. Perangkat lunak Orange Data Mining 3.3.12 digunakan untuk melakukan proses prediksi. Selanjutnya algoritma Support Vector Machine digunakan untuk memprediksi kelembaban udara. Data masukan adalah suhu, kecepatan angin, penyinaran matahari, dan juga kelembaban udara harian maksimum dan minimum.  Data diambil dari Stasiun Meteorologi Jawa Timur di wilayah Malang pada tahun 2015-2023 sebanyak 2922 dataset. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan nilai RMSE, MAE, dan R-Squared (R2). Rasio perbandingan data pelatihan dan data pengujian ditetapkan pada 70:30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil akurasi Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) dengan nilai 3,378, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) dengan nilai 2,738, dan R-squared (R2) dengan nilai 0,723. Berdasarkan hasil korelasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Support Vector Machine ini termasuk memiliki pengaruh kuat terhadap hasil prediksi kelembaban udara rata-rata harian

Abstract

Prediksi suhu udara sangat bermanfaat untuk pertimbangan kebijakan lokal, sepertinya suhu udara lebih tinggi dari tahun-tahun sebelumnya, sehingga perlunya perluasan lahan hijau sebagai strategi untuk memperbaiki kualitas udara dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Oleh karena itu perencanaan dan implementasi proyek lahan hijau harus menjadi prioritas dalam upaya pengembangan kota yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini membandingkan algoritma machine laerning model regresi linier dengan decision tree untuk memprediksi suhu kota Semarang dari tahun 2019 hingga 2023. Variabel data yang digunakan meliputi temperatur, titik embun, kecapatan angin, curah hujan, tekanan udara, lamanya penyinaran matahari, dan kelembaban. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan software rapid miner dengan menggunakan algoritma regresi linier dan decision tree. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan algoritma regresi linier memiliki nilai RMSE sebesar 0.131 +/- 0.000, MAE 0,099 +/- 0,086 dan R2 0.990, sedangkan pada algoritma decision tree nilai RMSE sebesar 0,293 +/- 0,000, nilai MEA 0,189 +/- 0,224 dan nilai R2 0,948. Kesimpulan analisis menunjukkan bahwa algoritma regresi linier lebih akurat daripada decision tree.

Abstract

Cryptography is the study of hiding text and numbers in the form of codes. Vertical Bit Rotation (VBR) is one of the most widely implemented cryptographic algorithms as a one-way hash function that simplifies the encryption process with a high degree of difficulty in decryption. The purpose of this study is to apply VBR hash algorithm modeling to binary value characters with bit rotation keys 10, 11, 7, 3, 2, 7, 5, and 4. Thus, generating a passcode. The results of the encryption simulation show the code in the form of letters and characters, then the result of the decryption with the opposite rotation to the encryption process returns the value from ciphertext to plaintext based on ASCII characters. Cryptographic algorithms are applied to avoid cryptanalytic experiments in opening encryption codes.

Abstract

Technology and the internet are growing very rapidly in society making it easy for people to share information and communicate with each other. However, the security of such data or information is something that should be highlighted. The utilization of technology and the internet has many security gaps that can make data or information vulnerable to being stolen and even misused. Valuable data or information is very likely to be accessed by unauthorized people. On the other hand, data and information are prone to be illegally altered and even duplicated. In connection with various possible data or information security issues, it is necessary to do a data security. The purpose of this study is to secure audio chat using a Cryptool-based Twofish algorithm. Based on research conducted, the security process with encryption and decryption simulations was successfully carried out on audio chat. Audio chat sent via IP Address can be encrypted into ciphertext and can be decrypted back into audio at a speed of 15.78 kB/s and the resulting size is also still the same, which is 160 packets. This Twofish algorithm proved to be well usable because the size and quality of chat audio generated from decryption is still the same as audio chat before it is encrypted.

Abstract

This article discusses the design of a liquid transfer system using a YF-S401 flow sensor and the evaluation of various calibration factors to create a reliable system. The research methods included water flow measurement, system component selection, system design, and workflow. The research results showed that a calibration factor of 50 was the optimal choice, showing good liquid transfer precision at a scale of 100 ml. However, testing at a scale of 200 ml and 300 ml showed suboptimal performance, especially in maintaining liquid transfer precision. Further development recommended in the selection of more reliable components, the improvement of the Arduino Uno program, and the implementation of technologies such as real time operating system (RTOS) to improve the accuracy of the liquid transfer system at larger scales. Overall, this research provides important insights for the development of automatic liquid transfer systems with a focus on precision in various measurement scales. Abstract

Abstrak Jahe (Zingiber officinale) merupakan tanaman tropis yang telah digunakan selama ribuan tahun sebagai bahan obat tradisional, rempah, dan tambahan dalam makanan serta minuman. Salah satu produk olahannya adalah minuman jahe instan, yang kini semakin berkembang. IRT Bekti Pertiwi di Desa Gesing, Kabupaten Temanggung, merupakan industri rumah tangga yang memproduksi jahe instan. Namun, produksi mereka terbatas akibat keterbatasan peralatan, hanya mampu memproduksi 2 kg jahe per hari dalam waktu 5 jam. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas, Tim Dosen dari Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) bersama dua mahasiswa, mengembangkan mesin pengaduk adonan jahe dan mesin timbang otomatis. Mesin pengaduk adonan berkapasitas 5-10 kg menggunakan motor listrik, sedangkan mesin timbang otomatis berbasis Arduino dilengkapi dengan sistem kontrol untuk mengukur dan menyesuaikan berat jahe yang dimasukkan ke dalam kemasan. Penerapan teknologi ini dilaksanakan melalui program pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini, produksi jahe instan di IRT Bekti Pertiwi mengalami peningkatan hingga lima kali lipat. Diharapkan, kegiatan ini dapat berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan memperbesar kapasitas produksi serta meningkatkan daya saing produk jahe instan. Kata kunci: jahe instan; pelatihan; mesin pengaduk adonan; mesin timbang otomatis. Abstract Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is a tropical plant that has been used for thousands of years as a traditional medicinal ingredient, spice, and addition in food and beverages. One of its processed products is instant ginger drink, which is now growing. Bekti Pertiwi home industry in Gesing village, Temanggung district, produces instant ginger. However, due to limited equipment, they can only produce 2 kg of ginger per day in 5 hours. To increase productivity, a team of lecturers from the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), together with two students, developed a ginger dough mixer and an automatic weighing machine. The dough kneading machine with a capacity of 5-10 kg uses an electric motor, while the Arduino-based automatic weighing machine is equipped with a control system to measure and adjust the weight of ginger put into the packaging. The application of this technology is carried out through a community service program that includes socialization, training, and evaluation. Through this community service program, the production of instant ginger in Bekti Pertiwi's IRT has increased up to five times. Hopefully, this activity can contribute to improving the welfare of the community by enlarging production capacity and increasing the competitiveness of instant ginger products. Keywords: instant ginger; training; dough mixer; automatic weighing machine.

Abstract

Ginger extract powder is a popular product in the beverage and health industry, requiring careful processing to produce high-quality results. This study aims to determine the efficiency of the stirring blade design on the ginger extract powder stirring machine. The intensive stirring process can lead to faster wear of the blades, making the selection of suitable materials crucial. The research was conducted through direct observation at UKM Bekti Pertiwi. The data collection process was structured to capture both quantitative data: 1) Energy consumption: energy used by the machine was measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh) using a standardized electricity meter, and 2) Cycle time: the time for a full cycle was recorded, from material input to the completion of the stirring process. A controlled sample of 2 kg of ginger essence was used in each test to standardize conditions and ensure consistent results. The sample size was chosen based on typical batch sizes processed by SMEs, aiming to represent common production volumes. The ginger essence sample was prepared with a standardized consistency and viscosity to reduce variability and ensure repeatability across tests. The stirring blade samples were manufactured from stainless steel with a Teflon coating, selected due to its corrosion resistance and durability in acidic environments. Blade dimensions were set to 504 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness, based on initial design research suggesting these dimensions as optimal for the desired mixing efficiency and wear resistance. Each test was conducted under the same operational settings, including motor speed and cycle duration, to maintain uniformity in testing conditions. Results indicate that a combination of stainless steel and Teflon in the stirring blades provides optimal performance, with energy consumption reaching 0.1072 kWh for 2 kg of ginger extract. The electricity cost for one production cycle is IDR 144.93. These findings can be used for future production planning, as well as to improve operational efficiency and the quality of ginger extract products.

Abstract

A solar power plant or photovoltaic (PV) is a generator that converts energy from light into pollution-free electrical energy. However, changes in the intensity of solar radiation and ambeint temperature Photovoltaic (PV) which are not linear are the main problems of PV systems in efficient energy conversion that occurs. Control using the Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) method based on the Perturb and Observe (PO) algorithm which is applied to overcome these problems. Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) itself is a technique for tracking the maximum output power point of the PV system. MPPT will change the working point so that the converter will force the work of the solar panels according to their ability to always reach the maximum power point. MPPT is not a mechanical system that makes the solar panel system move according to the direction of the sun's intensity, but an electronic system that works to optimize the power output from the solar panel. Meanwhile, Algorithm (PO) works by detecting and disturbing the PV voltage periodically by varying its duty cycle, as well as observing the PV power to be able to increase and decrease the PV voltage in the next 3 cycles. This paper presents an analysis of the MPPT PO performance with a standalone system implemented in the campus area. In this study, the applied PV system was able to produce a maximum power of 1626.087 Watts under optimal irradiation conditions and temperature. As well as testing the PV system under radiation and temperature conditions in the location study, namely FT UNNES. The maximum power of the PV system is 227.585 Watt.
