Abstract

Using the case-study approach, this qualitative psychological research explores the problems of gay young adults and how they cope with them. Data for this study was collected through interviews with three young gay men. A thematic analysis of the resulting data revealed that these gay young adults wrestled with several problems, including discrimination, stigmatization, difficulty forming interpersonal relationships, and religious conflicts. To cope with the problems, they used emotion-focused and problem-solving strategies. This study concludes that effective coping strategies go a long way toward helping gay young adults to overcome life-challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan sistem informasi akuntasi aplikasi moka dengan metode pieces pada Kafe Janji Jiwa 995 Comal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan 8 narasumber dari karyawan kafe janji jiwa 995 Comal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bagan proses bisnis Kafe janji jiwa 995 Comal yang digambarkan menggunakan Diagam arus data yang terdiri dari: Proses transaksi penjualan, Laporan penjualan perhari, Setor pendapatan harian ke rekening owner. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan enam komponen kerangka kerja pieces (performance, information, economy, control, effeciency, service) dapat dikatakan aplikasi moka tidak sesuai dengan enam kerangka kerja metode pieces dikarenakan terdapat tiga komponen pieces yang tidak sesuai dalam mendukung sistem informasi akuntansi pada kafe janji jiwa 995 Comal yaitu pada indikator performance, indikator control, dan indikator service. Indikator performance terjadi jeda selama 90 detik dikarenakan terdapat orderan masuk dari aplikasi gobiz, grab merchant, jiwa+ sehingga membuat kinerja tablet menjadi berat dan mengakibatkan terhambatnya proses penginputan transaksi penjualan. Indikator control tidak ada keamanan saat mengakses aplikasi moka dikarenakan pemilik usaha tidak mewajibkan setiap karyawan memiliki id atau akun untuk mengakses aplikasi moka sehingga apabila ada pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab maka mudah untuk mengakses aplikasi moka karena tidak ada keamanan untuk mengakses aplikasi moka. Indikator service terdapat kesalahan yang disebabkan oleh human error seperti karyawan salah menginput produk yang dipesan sehingga pelanggan mengajukan refund pembelian pada saat transaksi penjualan maka output yang dihasilkan oleh aplikasi moka tidak akurat karena jumlah uang yang didapat tidak sesuai dengan jumlah nominal pada aplikasi moka.

Abstract

Real Work Lectures are a form of education by providing learning experiences for students to live in society. MSMEs are a sector that is quite important in playing various real economic interests in national development, especially for the creation of new businesses and jobs.This activity aims to explain the efforts that can be made to increase the marketing of MSME products in Teros Village, Labuhan Haji District, East Lombok Regency through optimizing packaging innovation. The method used consists of three stages: planning, implementation and evaluation. Assistance is provided by assisting in making branding labels. From the results of this activity, it can be concluded that direct assistance is more effective in increasing the awareness of MSMEs to adopt packaging innovations.

Abstract

The use of technology in the digitalization era is increasingly important in aspects of human life, one of which is in the field of accounting and business. Efficiency in the financial reporting process and accounting digitalization are important factors in influencing the accuracy of financial statements. This study aims to examine the effect of the efficiency of the financial reporting process mediated by accounting digitization on the accuracy of MSME financial reports in Semarang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires from MSMEs in Semarang City. The population of this study amounted to 123 incorporated MSMEs and the research sample was MSMEs that had digitized their financial records (purposive sampling method), totaling 94 MSMEs in Semarang City. The results showed that the efficiency of the financial reporting process has a positive impact on accounting digitalization. However, the efficiency of the financial reporting process does not have a significant impact on the accuracy of MSME financial reports. Meanwhile, accounting digitalization has a positive impact on the accuracy of MSME financial statements.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of government financial assistance, profit reinvestment, and credit risk management on the long-term survival of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Given the significant role MSMEs play in economic development, understanding the key determinants of their sustainability is critical. Using data collected from MSME owners and managers through structured questionnaires, the research employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS to test the proposed relationships. The findings reveal that all three factors—government financial assistance, profit reinvestment, and credit risk management—positively and significantly influence the long-term survival of MSMEs. Among them, profit reinvestment had the strongest effect, indicating the strategic importance of internal financial planning for sustained growth. The study contributes to the literature by integrating external and internal financial practices as joint predictors of MSME survival and offers practical implications for policymakers and business practitioners. Recommendations include promoting integrated financial support mechanisms and capacity-building programs to improve risk management and reinvestment practices among MSMEs.

Abstract

This socialization aims to encourage increased capacity for Karang Taruna and UMKM in Pesantren Village, Mijen District, Semarang City. In order for Karang Taruna and UMKM to improve, socialization and training in catfish farming are needed. Catfish farming is widely favored by the Indonesian people and is developing in both villages and cities. Catfish is a freshwater fish, easily cultivated commercially by the Indonesian people. Catfish farming is growing rapidly because it can be cultivated with limited land and water sources with high stocking density, relatively easy cultivation technology and relatively low business capital, so it is natural that this business is widely favored, because the demand for catfish continues to increase.

Abstract

Pasar saham global khususnya bidang teknologi mengalami volatilitas yang signifikan, dengan saham Apple Inc. dan Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd sebagai pemain utama. Prediksi signifikan sangat diperlukan untuk mengurangi resiko investasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis dan membandingkan kinerja Backpropagation Neural Network (BPNN) dalam memprediksi pergerakan saham Apple dan Samsung. Dataset publik diperoleh dari Kaggle, saham Samsung dengan 6128 data periode 4 Januari 2000 sampai 13 Juni 2024 dan saham Apple dengan 2476 data periode 2 Januari 2014 sampai 31 Oktober 2023. Metode BPNN diterapkan dengan optimasi parameter learning rate, momentum, dan training cycle, pembagian data 10-fold cross validation, evaluasi nilai Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). Hasil terbaik menunjukkan konfiguasi optimal diperoleh dari learning rate 0.1, momentum 0.9, error epsilon 1.0E-4 dan training cycle 60. Nilai RMSE terbaik saham Apple 0.802 0.263 dengan akurasi 99.85%, dan pada saham Samsung RMSE terbaik 399.806 102.670 dengan akurasi 99.36%. Penelitian membuktikan BPNN dengan pola 0.1-0.9-60 sangat efektif memprediksi harga Close sehingga mampu memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi investor dalam melakukan evaluasi investasi sebagai strategi meminimalisir resiko saham.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of the transformational leadership style and motivation on employee performance, while considering job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The research population comprises all employees of the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning in Batang Regency, totaling 133 individuals, with a sample size of 100 respondents. The Proportional Simple Random Sampling technique was employed for sampling, utilizing a lottery method. The data analysis technique used in this study was path analysis. The research findings indicate that both the transformational leadership style and motivation have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, as well as a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction. Specifically, the transformational leadership style indirectly affects employee performance through its influence on job satisfaction. However, it is noted that motivation does not significantly influence employee performance through job satisfaction. This suggests that strategies for motivational development need to be tailored and integrated with internal and external factors that can more directly affect employee performance. These factors could include improvements to the work environment, incentive structures, career prospects, and other relevant aspects.
