Abstract

This research was conducted to produce Microlearning-Oriented Explainer Videos (MOEV) as a learning resource for the development of students' digital competence through early childhood print media. In this study, a Research and Development (R&D) design is used in the development paradigm of ADDIE, which stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data analysis method used was descriptive percentage analysis. The results of the expert validity test indicated that MOEV was eligible for use as the average validation score achieved by media experts was 97%, material experts was 91%, and learning design experts was 93%. Results of the practicality test showed that the practicality reached a score of 92%. The results show that MOEV is a tremendous and innovative interactive learning medium that students can explore independently to understand in depth using visual and audio materials. Further empirical validation of this research is needed to determine the long-term viability and potential scalability of MOEV to other courses.

Abstract

Ki Hajar Dewantara mencetuskan sebuah pendidikan dengan berlandaskan pada nilai kehidupan. Apabila hal ini terealisasi dengan baik, akan banyak terlahir generasi-generasi bangsa yang memiliki karakter dan moral yang positif. Namun kenyataannya di lapangan masih berbanding terbalik. Moral peserta didik justru semakin merosot setiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, perlu adanya upaya untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur kepada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan media pembelajaran cerita bergambar Serat Sana Sunu sebagai implementasi nilai luhur Ki Hajar Dewantara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode R&D dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Data berupa data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan uji coba produk. Hasil penelitian memperoleh persentase sebesar 98,2% dengan kategori sangat baik dan layak untuk digunakan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran cerita bergambar Serat Sana Sunu yang telah dikembangkan layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

Writing skills are essential for Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students, particularly in producing well-structured and ethical reference books. However, many students struggle due to limited experience and the absence of systematic guidance. This study aims to develop and evaluate a Video-Assisted Tutorial Book Writing (VABTBW) model to support the improvement of reference book writing skills in PPG students. This research employed a Research and Development (RD) design using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development process involved expert validation from three domains—material, media, and instructional design—and a practicality test involving PPG students. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. Expert validation results indicated that the VABTBW model is highly valid, with average scores of 90% (material experts), 92% (media experts), and 93% (instructional design experts). The practicality test showed a score of 90%, suggesting that the model is very practical for use in learning environments. The VABTBW model effectively enhances students’ conceptual understanding and practical competence in writing reference books. Its integration into PPG programs supports not only academic writing skills but also digital literacy, aligning with current educational demands. This innovation promotes active learning, increases writing productivity, and prepares future educators to become competent and digitally capable professionals.

Abstract

Beyond Cultural Values: Identifying Proximal Predictors of Early Literacy Skills in Indonesian Kindergarteners. Objectives: Early literacy development in young children is influenced by many interrelated factors within the family and cultural environments. In this study, we have also taken into account family values, parent–child relationships, and literacy activities in relation to children’s emergent reading in kindergarten. Methods: In the current study, a multiple regression design research approach was employed with 100 participants (early childhood teachers and parents). The information was collected by official questionnaires. The questionnaire included measures of familial sociocultural value orientation, parent–child interaction, literacy-related activities at home, and children’s early literacy skills, assessed through parent self-report items developed and adapted from established early literacy and home literacy environment instruments. To determine the predictive capability of the factors, multiple regression analysis was conducted as the technique for data analysis. Findings: The current research aims to identify the degree to which family socio-cultural values, parent-child interaction, and home literacy activities can predict outcomes in early literacy for children in kindergartens in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. The results showed that parent-child interaction and home literacy activity variables have a strong positive effect on children's performance in early literacy. In contrast, family socio-cultural values alone did not demonstrate a direct statistical effect in the model. Conclusion: It would appear from our findings that active involvement and literacy-related pursuits are more influential in building early reading skills than attitudes towards learning within the family as a whole. Our recommended solution would be increasing parent-child interaction activities and engaging in literacy pursuit programs. However, these activities must be situated within culturally salient family contexts. The main originality of the study is that it simultaneously examines three family-based variables in a given cultural context, which reinforces the hypothesis that early literacy is influenced by a social and cultural framework. Keywords: early literacy, family socio-cultural values, parent–child relationship, literacy practices, preschool education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa video tutorial TAPOLANA (Tutorial Pola Celana Pria) berbasis YouTube, menguji kelayakan dan kepraktisan media berdasarkan penilaian para ahli dan respon siswa, serta melihat dampaknya terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam pembuatan pola celana pria. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE yang mencakup tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X Desain dan Produksi Busana 1 SMKN 7 Malang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket validasi untuk ahli media dan materi serta angket respon siswa, dianalisis menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media video TAPOLANA memperoleh rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 94,93% dengan kategori "Sangat Layak". Respon siswa terhadap media menunjukkan persentase 84,75% yang termasuk kategori "Sangat Layak". Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial TAPOLANA dinilai layak dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran pola celana pria. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penyempurnaan pada aspek narasi dan alur penyampaian agar media lebih efektif dan menarik bagi siswa SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana anak usia dini memaknai dan menginterpretasikan karya seni yang mereka ciptakan. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode interpretatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-struktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap hasil karya seni anak usia 5–6 tahun di lingkungan taman kanak-kanak. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi tema-tema yang bermakna dari pengalaman kreatif anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat temuan utama: (1) anak menggunakan karya seni sebagai media ekspresi imajinatif dan emosional, (2) anak membangun narasi personal di balik karya mereka, (3) anak memiliki alasan dan logika tersendiri dalam memilih warna, bentuk, dan tema, serta (4) pemberian ruang interpretatif mendorong terbentuknya rasa percaya diri dan refleksi diri anak. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa karya seni anak bukan sekadar produk visual, melainkan representasi kompleks dari pikiran, emosi, dan pengalaman mereka. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peran pendidik dalam mendukung proses interpretatif anak melalui dialog yang terbuka dan reflektif, serta menciptakan lingkungan yang aman untuk berekspresi kreatif. Penelitian ini memperkuat perspektif anak sebagai subjek aktif dalam membentuk makna melalui karya seni.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi Prasasti Munggut sebagai sumber belajar sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Kajian literatur dari jurnal, artikel, dan buku yang sesuai dengan topik penelitian digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Prasasti Munggut ini berangka tahun 955 Saka /1033 M dan berasal dari masa pemerintahan raja Airlangga. Hingga saat ini prasasti Munggut masih terletak di Provinsi Jawa Timur, Kabupaten Jombang, Kecamatan Kudu, Kelurahan Katemas, Dukuh Sumber Gurit. Adapun isi dari prasasti gurit menetapkan pembebasan pajak untuk daerah Munggut sehingga disebut Prasasti Munggut. Informasi dalam prasasti munggut memiliki keterkaitan dengan kurikulum merdeka Capaian Pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran sejarah jenjang SMA/SMK pada fase E materi peninggalan Kerajaan Hindu Buddha. Terdapat beberapa informasi yang dapat digunakan siswa dari prasasti munggut. informasi itu antaralain, 1) Sistem pemerintahan, 2) Pejabat pemerintahan, 3) Sistem penanggalan, 4) Sistem perpajakan, 5) Pelestarian peninggalan sejarah. Keberadaan beberapa informasi itu dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar untuk mendukung siswa menacapai capaian pembelajaran.

Abstract

The lack of teachers' ability to apply the Pancasila character can contribute to the fading of Pancasila culture abroad, especially for the families of Indonesian Immigrant Workers in Malaysia. This research aims to explore the understanding of the character of Pancasila among parents in the Indonesian-Malaysian literacy context. A quantitative research approach was used with a sample of 80 educators from the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School and learning centers in Malaysia. The research instrument consists of a questionnaire with 15 items for the Teacher Empowerment Program variable and 14 items for Teacher Knowledge. Data analysis uses simple linear regression with validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, t test, and coefficient tests, which are processed using SPSS software. The research results found that the training program had a positive effect on teachers' knowledge about the character of Pancasila. The Teacher Empowerment Based Course Program has had a significant impact on teachers' understanding of the Indonesian-Malaysian Literacy Based Pancasila Character. After attending a course based on teacher empowerment, there was a significant increase in teachers' knowledge about the character of Pancasila based on Indonesian-Malaysian language literacy. This teacher empowerment-based course program provides educators with the opportunity to gain knowledge about Indonesian-Malaysian literacy. They can apply this knowledge through innovative and effective teaching methods. Future research could investigate further potential benefits beyond increasing teachers' knowledge after participating in this program.

Abstract

Anak usia dini merupakan generasi penerus bangsa yang diharapkan memperoleh stimulasi pembelajaran terbaik agar mampu menghadapi tantangan abad 21 melalui pembelajaran yang mendalam dan bermakna. Namun, terdapat permasalahan yang muncul di TK kecamatan Pandaan Kabupaten Pasuruan yakni keterbatasan kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan teknologi untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran, baik dalam merancang materi maupun dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana perencanaan pembelajaran mendalam berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kompetensi pedagogis guru PAUD. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen perencanaan pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian 15 guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Kecamatan Pandaan yang mampu menggunakan teknologi sederhana, seperti aplikasi digital, media interaktif, dan platform. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAUD yang merancang pembelajaran mendalam mampu mengintegrasikan delapan kompetensi lulusan, memahami perkembangan anak, pengetahuan, sikap, karakter secara menyeluruh, memanfaatkan tekhnologi dan strategi pembelajaran aktif, sehingga kompetensi pedagogis meningkat terutama pada aspek perencanaan, pengelolaan kelas, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pelatihan berkelanjutan mengenai perencanaan pembelajaran mendalam sebagai upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru PAUD.

Abstract

Despite the increasing global emphasis on child-friendly school (CFS) frameworks, parental participation in formal CFS assessment processes remains limited and often informal. This study developed I-HappySchool, a mobile-based instrument designed to facilitate structured parental engagement in assessing child-friendly school practices. A mixed-methods design was employed, integrating an ADDIE-based research and development model with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent-groups pretest–posttest design. The study was conducted in urban kindergartens in East Java, Indonesia, involving twenty parents or guardians from both public and private institutions. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation checklists, and expert validation forms. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics and independent-samples t-tests, while qualitative data were examined thematically to capture patterns of implementation across learning contexts. Expert evaluation indicated strong feasibility of the instrument, achieving an overall validity score of 87%. Post-intervention findings revealed comparable levels of CFS implementation in public and private settings across classroom and outdoor learning environments (p > 0.05). Among the assessed dimensions, effectiveness, health and safety, and gender sensitivity showed relatively higher performance, whereas democratic participation and equitable access remained comparatively weaker, with several indicators scoring below 60%. These findings suggest that a validated mobile-based instrument can support more systematic CFS assessment and enhance structured parental participation in early childhood education. Nevertheless, the findings should be interpreted cautiously due to the limited sample size and short implementation period.
