Abstract

The objectives of this research were to analyze consumer’s perception of marketing mix, to analyze the effects of marketing mix towards purchase decision, and to formulate strategies to increase consumer purchases at Furnimart Bogor. The data retrieval technique was conducted using in-depth interviews to key persons in Furnimart, consumers and obtaining data from the previous research. There were 13 variables used in this study with 120 samples chosen at random. The data were processed using descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), through LISREL 8.72. The results of the research showed that consumer perception on the marketing mix consisting of product, price, place and promotion stated that 75.83% of consumers rated the product design as good, 60.5%t competitive price, and 75.63% said that Furnimart store location was easy to reach and offered attractive promotion. The results of SEM analysis showed that the most influencing components of the marketing mix towards the consumer’s purchasing decisions of furniture products were price and promotion.Keywords: furniture, marketing mix, perception, purchasing decision, SEM

Abstract

Working in a religion-based institution has some unique values compared to other institutions in general. These characteristics can be a distinguishing factor that influence employee performance between the two institutions that are interesting to be examined. This research focuses on analyzing the factors that influence the employee performance of Fundraising Division of the Dompet Dhuafa Amil Zakat Institution, e.g., the ability, effort, management support, internal division support, and program division support. The purposes of this research are 1) to analyze employee performance of the fundraising division; 2) to analyze factors that influence employee performance of the fundraising division and to compare the results with other institutions; and 3) to formulate the strategy to improve employee performance of the fundraising division. The data was collected using a structural questionnaire with the employee of the fundraising division as respondents. The data collected was then analyzed using descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square. The results indicate that the employee performance of the fundraising division was rated good. The effort factor, internal division support, and program division support have a significant positive effect on employee performance in the fundraising division. Leadership training, value internalization, and performance optimization are then selected as the strategies to increase employee performance of the fundraising division.Keywords: fundraising, employee performance, dompet dhuafa, PLS SEM

Abstract

The objectives of this study are 1) to analyze the effect of marketing mix, brand awareness, brand image and region of origin on lapis talas purchasing decision for tourists in Bogor city, 2) to create effective marketing strategies for business development. Using SEM-Partial Least Square method,this research was conducted in the city of Bogor with the sample of 160 respondents. The selected respondents were tourists who came to the city of Bogor and had purchased lapis talas cakes. From the results of the study, it is known that the brand awareness variable, brand image, product, promotion and region of origin have a significant influence while the place variable has no significant influence. Strategy recommendations suggested in this study are 1) Increase brand awareness by increasing the intensity of advertising on social media, building outlets in tourism areas and train stations; 2) Improve product quality by providing packaging machines, making plastic bags, enlarging product sizes and adding fruit mixes; 3) Improve regional characteristics by adding taro ingredients and making a brand that is identical with the city of Bogor; 4) Build brand image through tagline; 5) Increase promotion using online media (facebook, instagram and twitter), billboards and discounted prices.Keywords: marketing mix, marketing strategy, region of origin, SEM-PLS, purchase decision

Abstract

Product System Service (PSS) was an excellent way to create new customer value under hyper-competition. Both product and service components were not used individually but in integrating product, service, and system and their valid combinations. This paper investigated the case study and was performed between June 2019 and April 2020. The is study aims to explore the introduction of the study's purpose of exploring the company was introducing the latest PSS model in its own " Energy Saving Company (ESCO) model" with its capitals in Indonesia. This new business model was able to tap potential business opportunities in the energy-saving industry. The study used these three methods – Soft System Methodology (SSM), General Morphological Analysis (GMA) & Business Model Canvas (BMC). In this paper, the authors performed SSM to reduce the gap that exists in the real world. GMA and BMC as other tools to ensure collaboration to form the new business model. The result showed that through PSS, the company could develop their own "ESCO model" under Energy Saving Agreement (ESA) or Energy Saving Performance Contract (ESPC), which was known as "saving back arrangement financing." By adopting PSS, the company could gain a competitive advantage since there was increasing demand for energy and limited supply in Indonesia; hence there was a vast, untapped opportunity in the energy-saving industry. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to formulate business strategy of XYZ Company. This study used 4 analysis tool Matrixes i.e. IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) and EFE (External Factor Evaluation), SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threat), and QPSM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). The primary and secondary data were used for this study. The IFE and EFE analysis showed weighted values of 2.52; 3.31 in quadrant II, indicating that this company is still in growth and development phase while, through the SWOT analysis, 5 alternative strategies could be concluded i.e. (1) collaboration with government to provide special fleet as domestic transportation to support national shipping industry; (2) collaboration not only with Head company but also with the other multi-stakeholders; (3) Capacity building regarding development of national shipping industry to XYZ employees; (4) establishment of agreement among multi-stakeholders against corruptions, collusion and nepotism; (5) development of a good working mechanism in accordance with the structural organization to increase working efficiency. Lastly, based on QPSM analysis, the main priority in business strategy of XYZ Co. is the capacity building for all of its employees.Keywords: business strategy, IFE,EFE, SWOT Matrix, QSPMAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan memformulasikan strategi bisnis PT. XYZ melalui pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Alat alat analisis yang digunakan, yaitu matrix IFE (Internal factor Evaluation) dan EFE (External Factor Evaluation), SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threat) dan QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix). Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Berdasarkan hasil IFE dan EFE diperoleh nilai tertimbang masing masing sebesar (2,523;3,310) sehingga posisi perusahaan dalam matriks IE berada di kuadran II, yaitu tumbuh dan kembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT diperoleh lima alternatif strategi (1) bekerja sama dengan pemerintah dalam menyiapkan armada khusus untuk pengangkutan dalam negeri sehingga mendukung industri pelayaran nasional; (2) bekerja sama dengan pihak lain diluar Perusahaan induk; (3) peningkatan kapasitas tentang pengembangan industri pelayaran nasional kepada staff; (4) membangun kesepakatan dengan pihak-pihak terkait untuk memberantas korupsi, kolusi dan nepotisme (5) membangun mekanisme kerja yang baik sesuai dengan struktur organisasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja. Abstract

The occupational health and safety known as K3 (Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja) is one of the main objectives of PT XYZ Indonesia ltd. operation.  Currently PT XYZ Indonesia ltd has possessed an occupational safety competent model for the operational area originally from XYZ global. The objectives of the research are to define the role of the Occupational safety and health (OSH) department, arrange an appropriate competent model and specify the competent level requirements in each job positions and also formulate a development program for each competency.  The research uses DACUM (Developing a Curriculum) modified method and refers to AMA (American Management Association) competent literature.  The result of the research shows that there are nine main competencies in the department of occupational safety.  The four competencies in occupational safety cover 1) OHS mission implementation & tactical planning, 2) controls hazards & manages risks, 3) result oriented OHS, and 4) mastering complexity & manages incidents.  While the other five competencies are related to leadership competent, they are 1) communication, 2) partnering, 3) influencing, 4) building trust & personal accountability, 5) critical & analytical thinking.  The content designed for the competent model are 1) the list of nine main required competencies, 2) the definition of each competency, 3) the level of each competency, 4) the development for each level, 5) the need of the competent level for each job positions. Based on the research, it shows that the DACUM modified method is suitable to formulate the competency needed from the unit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merumuskan peranan-peranan departemen OHS, menyusun model kompetensi yang sesuai dan menentukan tingkat persyaratan kompetensi di masing-masing jabatan, serta merumuskan program pengembangan di setiap kompetensi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode modified DACUM (Developing  A  Curriculum)  dan merujuk kepada kamus kompetensi AMA (American Management Association). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada sembilan kompetensi utama untuk departemen keselamatan kerja. Empat dari sembilan kompetensi tersebut adalah kompetensi  keselamatan kerja, yang meliputi 1) OHS mission implementation & tactical planning, 2) controls hazards & manages risks, 3) result oriented OHS, dan 4) mastering complexity & manages incidents. Sebaliknya, lima kompetensi lainnya merupakan kompetensi leadership, yang meliputi 1) communication, 2) partnering, 3) influencing, 4) building trust & personal accountability, 5) critical & analytical thinking. Isi dari model kompetensi yang dibuat adalah 1) daftar sembilan kompetensi utama yang dipersyaratkan, 2) definisi masing-masing kompetensi, 3) tingkatan masing-masing kompetensi, 4) pengembangan untuk setiap tingkatan, 5) kebutuhan tingkat kompetensi untuk setiap posisi jabatan. Abstract

The aims of this study were to evaluate the strategy execution system that has been carried out by Bapertarum-PNS, to evaluate the external and internal conditions influencing the Bapertarum-PNS in increasing the amount of Housing Saving distribution, to formulate alternative strategies to increase the amount of Housing Saving distribution, to determine strategic priorities of Bapertarum-PNS in increasing the Housing Saving fund for the civil servants, and formulate a strategic execution plan of Bapertarum-PNS in carrying out the planned strategic priorities. This study used the analysis of internal and external factors, SWOT analysis to determine alternative strategies and used QSPM to search for strategic priorities and their execution stage using the strategic execution system of Kaplan and Norton. The values of IFE and EFE at Bapertarum-PNS are located in quadrant IV that is in the position of Growing and Developing. The position shows that the most effective effort to increase housing is establishing a strategy of product development. Determination of strategic prioritization generates priorities in order to increase the support value of home financing, develop new products and services, expand information services reaching across Indonesia, implement incentive mechanism for employees, expand cooperation with banking executives, promote the formation of law on Bapertarum-PNS as well as to improve coordination with stakeholders of Bapertarum- PNS.Keywords: Bapertarum-PNS, housing, priority strategy, strategy executionAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi sistem eksekusi strategi yang sudah dilakukan oleh Bapertarum-PNS, mengevaluasi kondisi ekternal dan internal yang memengaruhi Bapertarum-PNS dalam meningkatkan jumlah penyaluran Tabungan Perumahan, merumuskan alternatif strategi dalam meningkatkan jumlah penyaluran Tabungan Perumahan, menentukan prioritas strategi Bapertarum-PNS dalam meningkatkan penyaluran dana Tabungan Perumahan PNS, serta merumuskan rencana eksekusi strategi Bapertarum-PNS untuk menjalankan prioritas strategi yang telah direncanakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis faktor internal dan eksternal, kemudian analisis SWOT, untuk menentukan alternatif strateginya dan menggunakan QSPM guna mencari prioritas strategi serta tahap eksekusinya menggunakan sistem eksekusi strategi Kaplan dan Norton. Hasil nilai IFE dan EFE posisi Bapertarum-PNS terletak pada kuadran IV yaitu posisi Tumbuh dan Kembangkan. Posisi tersebut menunjukan bahwa upaya peningkatan penyaluran dana bantuan perumahan yang paling efekif adalah melakukan strategi pengembangan produk. Penentuan prioritas strategi menghasilkan prioritas peningkatkan nilai bantuan pembiayaan rumah, mengembangkan produk dan layanan baru, perluasan layanan informasi menjangkau seluruh indonesia, menerapkan mekanisme insentif bagi karyawan, perluasan kerjasama dengan perbankan pelaksana, mendorong pembentukan UU tentang Bapertarum-PNS serta peningkatan koordinasi dengan stakeholders Bapertarum-PNS.Kata kunci: Bapertarum-PNS, perumahan, prioritas strategi, eksekusi strategi

Abstract

The purposes of this study are 1) to analyzing the employee perceptions on the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment, and their effects on the employee performance of PT Pul Logistics Indonesia (PLI); 2) to analyze the most influential factors among the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment on the performance of PLI employees; 3) to formulate strategies to improve the performance of PLI employees by developing the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment. The methods utilized in this study were the Scale Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Thus, the organizational culture, motivation, leadership, and work environment have significant effects on the employee performance. Leadership is identified as the most influential factor followed by motivation, work environment, and organizational culture as the least. The formulation of strategies to improve employee performance covers the strengthening of professionalism culture, improvement in the commitment of performance assessment transparency, increase in knowledge and leadership awareness indicators, provision of supporting facilities and infrastructure, and increase in the understanding of employee SOP.Keywords: organizational culture, motivation, leadership, work environment, employee performance, SEMABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) menganalisis persepsi karyawan terhadap budaya organisasi, motivasi, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja, serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Pul Logistics Indonesia (PLI); 2) menganalisis faktor yang paling berpengaruh di antara budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PLI; 3) merumuskan strategi meningkatkan kinerja karyawan PLI melalui peningkatan budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan, dan lingkungan kerja. Metode yang digunakan untuk menjawab tujuan adalah dengan analisis rentang skala dan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Budaya organisasi, motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja diikuti motivasi selanjutnya lingkungan kerja dan terakhir budaya organisasi. Rumusan strategi meningkatkan kinerja karyawan diantaranya penguatan budaya profesionalisme, peningkatan komitmen transparansi penilaian kinerja, peningkatan indikator pengetahuan dan kesadaran kepemimpin, pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana penunjang kerja, peningkatan pemahaman SOP karyawan. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the equity financing at the Islamic Banking which covers quantitative financing profit and loss sharing and to formulate policies to be performed by the management in maintaining the financing growth. The study was conducted by utilizing Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model with variables including BI rate and inflation as the external factor. The test results of both external factors indicated a negative impact on both financing. BI rate as an indicator of the government's policy becomes the fastest variable affecting the equity financing i.e. at lag 1. Inflation comes as the macroeconomic indicator at lags 2, 9 and 10. All internal factors have a negative impact on both financing types except for the cost of education and training, and autoregressive variables. The fund of the third party influences the sharing of profit and loss (mudharabah) at lag 1 and at 9, meanwhile the capital adequacy ratio affects the profit sharing (mudharabah) at lag 8, and it affects the loss sharing (musyarakah) at lag 6. The cost of education and training has an effect on loss sharing at lag 5, and Islamic banking basic education affects profit financing at lag 2 whereas the trend of financing profit sharing is at lag 8 and loss sharing at lags 1 and 2 and since it autoregressive, it affects each financing of the current period.Keywords: autoregressive, dynamic, mudaraba, musharaka, profit and loss sharing financingABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pembiayaan berbasis bagi hasil pada Bank Syariah yang meliputi pembiayaan mudharabah dan musyarakah secara kuantitatif dan merumuskan kebijakan-kebijakan yang dapat dilakukan manajemen dalam menjaga pertumbuhan pembiayaannya. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Model dengan variabel yang digunakan meliputi BI Rate dan inflasi sebagai faktor eksternal. Hasil pengujian kedua faktor eksternal memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap kedua pembiayaan tersebut. BI Rate sebagai indikator kebijakan pemerintah menjadi variabel yang paling cepat memengaruhi pembiayaan berbasis bagi hasil yaitu pada lag 1. Berikutnya diikuti oleh inflasi sebagai indikator makroekonomi pada lag 2, 9 dan 10. Seluruh faktor internal memberikan pengaruh negatif terhadap kedua jenis pembiayaan kecuali biaya pendidikan dan pelatihan dan variabel autoregressive. Dana pihak ketiga memengaruhi pembiayaan mudharabah pada lag 1 dan 9. Sementara rasio kecukupan modal pada lag 8 memengaruhi pembiayaan mudharabah dan pada lag 6 memengaruhi pembiayaan musyarakah. Biaya pendidikan dan pelatihan memengaruhi pembiayaan musyarakah pada lag 5, pendidikan dasar perbankan syariah memengaruhi pembiayaan mudharabah pada lag 2. Sementara tren pembiayaan mudharabah pada lag 8 dan pembiayaan musyarakah pada lag 1 dan 2 sebagai autoregressive memengaruhi masing-masing pembiayaan pada periode kini.Kata kunci:    autoregressive, dynamic, mudaraba, musharaka, profit and loss sharing financing

Abstract

The objectives  of the research are to 1) formulate a BSC based performance model criteria in the Directorate  Information LPP-TVRI, 2) derive the Directorate  of  Information LPP-TVRI strategic components (vision and mission) into a strategic plan, objective and initiative, 3) develop a strategy map for the Directorate  of  Information LPP-TVRI, 4) define chosen factors in KPI as a performance criteria, , 5) conduct a simulation on the performance criteria  plan in the Directorate  of  Information LPP-TVRI using BSC method.  The method used in the research is Balanced Scorecard (BSC) for 4 perspectives; finance, consumer, internal business process, and growth and learning perspectives.  The result is presented in a strategic plan, objective and initiative based on the BSC four perspectives.  This becomes a measured output and can be evaluated by the management.  The focus on the improvement in this perspective will show a significant improvement.  The effort of the Information Directorate to increase the audience share as the responsibility in using public funds from APBN is carried out by specifying the KPI to be implemented.  The evaluation plan simulation on the performance of the Directorate Information LPP-TVRI derived from BSC method and the flow of cause and effect relationship through Strategy map, resulting in the presence of a number of KPI that has to be implemented by the TVRI management. Keywords:   balanced scorecard key, key performance indicators, Strategy Map, public televisionAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) merumuskan model pengukuran kinerja berbasis BSC dilingkungan Direktorat Pemberitaan LPP-TVRI, 2) menurunkan komponen-komponen strategik (visi-misi) Direktorat Pemberitaan TVR kedalam  rencana strategik, tujuan dan inisiatif strategik, 3) membentuk Strategy Map untuk Direktorat Pemberitaan TVRI, 4) menentukan faktor-faktor apakah yang akan dipilih menjadi KPI sebagai pengukuran kinerja dan  5) melakukan simulasi rancangan pengukuran kinerja Direktorat Pemeberitaan TVRI dengan metode BSC. Metode penelitian yang digunakana Balanced Scorecard (BSC) dengan empat perspektif; perspektif keuangan, perspektif pelanggan, perspektif proses bisnis internal dan perspektif pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran. Hasil penjabaran komponen strategik Direktorat Pemberitaan LPP-TVRI kedalam rencana strategis, tujuan dan  inisiatif melalui empat perspektif BSC menghasilkan output dan outcome yang terukur,  sekaligus bisa dievaluasi oleh jajaran top manajemen. Fokus perbaikan pada perspektif ini, akan memperlihatkan perbaikan yang signifikan. Upaya Direktorat Pemberitaan meningkatkan audience share sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban penggunaan dana publik lewat APBN, dilakukan dengan menentukan KPI yang harus dilaksanakan. Simulasi rancangan penilaian kinerja atas Direktorat Pemberitaan LPP-TVRI, yang diturunkan dari metode BSC dan membuat alur hubungan sebab akibat lewat Strategy Map, menghasilkan sejumlah KPI yang harus dijalankan oleh manajemen TVRI.Kata kunci: balanced scorecardkey,key performance indicators, Strategy Map, televisi publik
