Abstract

Bawang merah merupakan komoditas rempah yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Bawang merah menjadi salah satu komoditas yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat inflasi ekonomi. Komoditas ini mengalami penurunan produksi sebanyak 101%. Pada tahun 2017 dapat menghasilkan 28.456 kuintal sedangkan pada tahun 2018 menghasilkan 14.155 kuintal. Hal ini dapat dikarenakan oleh beberapa hal yang terdapat dalam lingkungan disekitar pertanaman tersebut. Adapun tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman arthopoda pada pertanaman bawang merah Allium ascalonicum.penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Oktober - Desember 2021 di Lahan Desa Tegal Arum Kota Banjarbaru. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksplorasi yang dilakukan secara langsung dilokasi pertnamanam bawang merah trap yang diberikan perlakuan serbuk kulit jengkol dengan menggunakan jebakan permukaan tanah Pitfall. Hasil perhitungan jebakan yang dipasang memerangkap 239 ekor arthropoda yang termasuk dalam 5 ordo, yaitu Coleoptera, Orthoptera, Hymenoptera, Dermaptera dan Araneae.

Abstract

Driving activities on the highway are inseparable from various risks such as accidents and death. The government as the executor to protect the public makes some rules aimed at ensuring the implementation of accident insurance that occurs while driving. The government established PT Jasa Raharja to implement the rules that have been made, both in the form of Laws, Government Regulations or Minister of Finance Regulations. Information on traffic accident insurance is not known by all levels of society, both in terms of claim procedures, requirements and also types of accidents that can be covered, so that many people end up being burdened by the accidents that occur. STIE Ganesha conducts community service programs in collaboration with related parties to provide socialization about driving safety on the highway, including socialization about guarantees for traffic accident victims carried out by PT Jasa Raharja. The participants who were targeted in this socialization were students, offline motorcycle taxi drivers, surrounding communities and also STIE Ganesha employees. This service went well so that the participants could understand the material given during the event and could become a liaison between the community and information about traffic accident guarantees.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance leadership skills among students of SMP, SMA, and SMK Nusantara. The objectives of this activity include equipping participants with basic leadership skills applicable to school organizations, encouraging the development of responsible, integrity-based, and inspirational leadership characters, facilitating the exchange of ideas on leadership, and increasing participants' motivation to actively engage in organizational and community activities The activity was held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 08:00 to 12:30 WIB, in Auditorium R. 86-87 of SMA Nusantara, Jl Tarumanegara Dalam No 2, Kelurahan Pisangan, Kecamatan Ciputat Timur, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Participants included OSIS and Rohis board members from four schools, namely SMP Nusantara Plus, SMA Nusantara Plus, SMK Nusantara 1, and SMK Nusantara II Kesehatan, with a total of 80 students. The implementation methods included seminars for material presentation, interactive discussions, and leadership practice simulations. The results showed high levels of active participation and enthusiasm from the participants, indicating that the activity successfully enhanced their leadership capacities. This positive impact is expected to continue encouraging students' self-development and active roles in advancing their school and community environments

Abstract

This study explores the impact of incorporating the stylistic method and diverse pedagogical approaches on students' understanding and appreciation of literary works, specifically focusing on the works of Charles Dickens. This research used a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative methods such as observation, surveys, and text analysis with quantitative methods involving statistical analysis. The quasi-experimental design selected undergraduate students purposively based on their literary background, with Charles Dickens' notable works serving as key resources. Pre and post-tests are administered to experimental and control groups to measure the impact of language style instruction. Results indicate that the experimental group, exposed to language style teaching, outperforms the control group in post-teaching comprehension tests. Studies show that teaching students about language styles helps them unlock the meaning of literature. Questionnaire data demonstrate high student satisfaction, increased confidence, improved critical thinking, and enhanced analytical abilities. The adaptability of Dickens's novels to various learning styles contributes to a more inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to provide data on the beetle species of the Subfamily Lamiinae (Cerambycidae) on Mount Tambusisi, Central Sulawesi. Sample collection was carried out from June to July 2022 on Mount Tambusisi in cocoa plantation, agroforestry, secondary forest and primary forest. Sample identification was carried out at the Laboratory of Animal Biosystematics and Evolution, Department of Biology, Faculty of Sciences, Tadulako University. Specimens were preserved dry according to museum standards and kept at the Laboratory of Animal Biosystematics and Evolution, Department of Biology, Tadulako University and at the Museum Zoologicum Bogoriense-MZB (PRBE-BRIN) Cibinong. Specimen are described based on morphological characteristics. A total of 17 species of beetles from the Lamiinae subfamily were collected from Mount Tambusisi such as Acalolepta rusticatrix, A. mattuladaii, A. celebensis, Sternohammus celebensis submaculatus, Granulorsidis sp., Pelargoderus alcanor thomsoni, Epepeotes lugubris, E. plorator celebensis, Olenecamptus bilobus, Trachelophora sp., Gnoma pulverea, Sybra cf. alternans, S. aequabilis. The five morphospecies that have not been identified down to the species level. Several species of cerambycid beetles with a wide distribution in the Oriental region, the Malay Archipelago to Indo-Australia such as Acalolepta rusticatrix, Olenecamptus bilobus, and Pterolophia melanura. While the other 9 species are endemic to Sulawesi.

Abstract

Analisis faktor keamanan (FoS) dan distribusi tegangan pada balok profil-I baja AISI 304 dengan beban terpusat dilakukan menggunakan simulasi Finite Element Method (FEM) di SolidWorks Simulation. Model uji berupa balok IPE-160 sepanjang 1.000 mm dengan kedua ujung ditumpu kaku dan pembebanan 1.000 kgf (sekitar 9,81 kN) di tengah bentang. Hasil menunjukkan tegangan von Mises maksimum 30,72 MPa, jauh di bawah tegangan luluh AISI 304 sekitar 206 MPa, sehingga diperoleh FoS minimum 6,7, melampaui batas minimum Eurocode 3 (lebih dari sama dengan 2,0). Defleksi maksimum 1,25 mm juga berada jauh di bawah batas layanan L/360 sekitar 2,78 mm, menegaskan terpenuhinya kriteria serviceability. Kontur tegangan memperlihatkan konsentrasi maksimum pada zona pertemuan web–flange tepat di bawah titik beban, selaras dengan prediksi teori balok. Reaksi tumpuan terdistribusi merata (±4.905 N per tumpuan) mengonfirmasi keseimbangan statik. Temuan mengindikasikan bahwa balok I AISI 304 aman dan efisien untuk skenario beban terpusat yang dikaji. Kontribusi utama studi ini adalah pemetaan kuantitatif margin keselamatan dan lokasi kritis tegangan pada balok stainless austenitik, yang relevan sebagai rujukan desain berbasis FEM sesuai standar mutakhir.

Abstract

Moringa is one of the locally sourced foods rich in nutrients, but its utilization in Bobo Village is still limited, so innovation is needed to increase its added value as a village product. This service aims to introduce and encourage the implementation of innovative food technology in the form of moringa chips to the community of Bobo Village as a strategy for empowerment and local economic development. The implementation methods include initial observation to identify potential and problems, activity planning, consultation with the village government, and socialization focused on conveying information about the benefits of moringa, business opportunities, and the basic process of making moringa chips. The results of the service show that the community has a high interest in this food innovation, as evidenced by active participation during socialization and the emergence of interest in trying to produce moringa chips independently. This activity also increases public understanding of the nutritional value of moringa and the economic opportunities that can be developed thru processing local products. In conclusion, the socialization of moringa chip innovation was able to broaden the horizons of the Bobo Village community regarding the utilization of moringa as a product with economic value and the potential to become the village's flagship commodity. However, follow-up actions are needed, including technical training, production assistance, and strengthening marketing strategies, to ensure that moringa chips can be produced sustainably and have a more optimal economic impact on the community.ABSTRAKKelor merupakan salah satu sumber pangan lokal yang kaya nutrisi, namun pemanfaatannya di Desa Bobo masih terbatas sehingga diperlukan inovasi untuk meningkatkan nilai tambahnya sebagai produk desa. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mendorong implementasi teknologi inovasi pangan berupa kripik kelor pada masyarakat Desa Bobo sebagai strategi pemberdayaan dan pengembangan ekonomi lokal. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup observasi awal untuk mengidentifikasi potensi dan permasalahan, perencanaan kegiatan, musyawarah dengan pemerintah desa, serta sosialisasi yang berfokus pada penyampaian informasi mengenai manfaat kelor, peluang usaha dan proses dasar pembuatan kripik kelor. Hasil pengabdian menunjukan bahwa masyarakat memiliki ketertarikan yang tinggi terhadap inovasi pangan tersebut, ditandai dengan partisipasi aktif selama sosialisasi dan munculnya minat untuk mencoba memproduksi kripik kelor secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai nilai gizi kelor serta peluang ekonomi yang dapat dikembangkan melalui pengolahan produk lokal. Kesimpulannya, sosialisasi inovasi kripik kelor mampu membuka wawasan masyarakat Desa Bobo mengenai pemanfaatan kelor sebagai produk yang bernilai ekonomis dan berpotensi menjadi komunitas unggulan desa. Namun, diperlukan tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan teknis, pendampingan produksi, serta penguatan strategi pemasaran agar keripik kelor dapat dihasilkan secara berkelanjutan dan memberikan dampak ekonomi yang lebih optimal bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

It is a qualitative inquiry that examines how the central role of female leadership in shaping gendered discourses in climate justice movements is done, and how their agency and practical actions reshape environmental activism and social justice. Drawing upon extensive in-depth interviews with women leaders in a range of environmental movements, the analysis shows that they understand climate justice in terms of an intersectional approach of ecological stewardship in relation to the well-being of communities, cultural identity, and gender equality. Their stories highlight the relationship between the environmental degradation and social inequality, thus highlighting the need to have a combined and inclusive leadership to achieve sustainable solutions. Despite their irreplaceable roles, women still face institutional barriers including patriarchal marginalization, economic marginalization and restricted access to decision making spaces. Using the thematic analysis, this work determines how women transform these limitations into opportunities to take innovative and community-based climate action. Its results dispute existing technocratic, male-dominated leadership paradigms and suggests a more comprehensive approach to environmental governance with empathy, collaboration, and indigenous local expertise as its priority. This research has implications on management and policymaking, which propose gender-responsive policies that would institutionalize the leadership of women in climate governance. In the end, the work also claims that climate justice cannot be achieved without gender justice because the female leadership is not only redressing but transformational to the world environmental organizations.

Abstract

Tourism-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting local economic activities, particularly in coastal tourism areas such as Pantai Carita. However, their high dependence on tourist arrivals exposes them to significant financial risks, including income instability, rising operational costs, and cash flow constraints. This community service activity aims to strengthen the financial risk management capacity of MSME actors through practical and context-based interventions. The program was conducted on 15–17 December 2025, involving 50 tourism MSME actors from culinary, rental, and service sectors. A participatory approach was applied through counseling and direct mentoring. Counseling sessions covered financial risk concepts and simple bookkeeping, while mentoring focused on the practical implementation of daily cash flow recording and risk identification. The results show significant quantitative improvements: understanding of financial risk increased from 22% to 78%, daily cash flow recording from 18% to 72%, and emergency fund allocation from 10% to 60%. In addition, the ability to identify business risks rose from 25% to 80%, while financial-based decision making improved from 28% to 73%. These results indicate that simple and practical interventions effectively enhance financial awareness, managerial capability, and adaptive behavior of MSMEs in managing business risks
