Abstract

Pernikahan menjadi salah satu impian yang ingin diwujudkan oleh individu dalam kehidupannya. Pernikahan dapat berlangsung jika telah terpenuhinya ketentuan atau persyaratan dalam mengajukan permohonan pernikahan. Salah satu persyaratan tersebut adalah sudah tercukupinya batasan umur, yaitu minimal berusia 19 tahun. Namun di masyarakat, masih adanya pernikahan anak di bawah umur. Banyak faktor yang menjadi alasan berlangsungnya pernikahan itu. Salah satunya adalah tuntutan dari orangtua untuk segera menikah dikarenakan lingkungan sekitarnya juga melakukan hal demikian. Sehingga jika tidak melakukan hal seperti itu, maka akan menjadi perbincangan di lingkungannya tersebut. Artikel ini membahas tentang pelayanan konseling yang dapat digunakan dalam mencegah pernikahan usia dini dengan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan.

Abstract

Problematic students are students who show symptoms of behavior carried out by students in general. Problematic students can be built by the attachment between students and students. This research aims to describe attachment with parents to students in terms of trust, communication, and isolation aspects. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive research type. The subjects of this study were students with problems in SMA Negeri 4 Padang, who were in 68 students. The data were obtained from a questionnaire using a Likert scale model. The results showed (1) attachment with parents to problem students was in the low category with a presentation of 66,18%, (2) attachment with parents to students based on the aspect of trust was in the high category with a presentation of 50%, (3) attachment of communication with parents to students, based on the aspect is in the low category with a presentation of 63,24%, (4) attachment with parents to students based on the aspect of alienation is in the high category with a presentation of 61,76 %. The implication of the research results can be used as one of the newest in providing BK services, especially those related to attachment with parents.

Abstract

The happiness of children and teenager is an inseparable part of family happiness. Family is one of the factors in the determinant of children and teenager. Children living in families experiencing domestic violence are at high risk for mental health problems, such as depression and life failure. This study aims to describe the subjective well being of children victims of domestic violence based on two aspects, namely aspects of life satisfaction and aspects of affection (positive and negative experiences). This study uses a descriptive approach with a sample of 53 students with the characteristics of adolescents who are violent in the household. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and the data collection tool uses a subjective well being scale. The results of the study revealed that the subjective well being of children victims of domestic violence was low with a percentage of 49.06%, while in the medium category with a percentage of 35.85%, high category 13.21%, and very low category 1.89%. The implication of this research is the basis for guidance and counseling teachers to improve the subjective well-being of students in schools.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the existence of several students who had problems and attended individual counseling services and then did not come back for further counseling. This can be seen because students feel less satisfied after getting individual counseling services because students do not get new knowledge, do not get new solutions and students feel that the counseling teacher does not understand student expectations. The purpose of this study was to describe student satisfaction after participating in individual counseling services in terms of gender and work tenure of the counseling counselor / counselor. This study used a comparative descriptive approach with a 2x2x2 factorial model. This research was conducted on class XI and XII students of SMA N 8 and  SMA N 13 Padang in the 2020/2021 school year. The sample size is 90 students with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was a student satisfaction questionnaire after participating in an office counseling service using the Guttman scale mosel. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance techniques (ANOVA). There is no interaction of student satisfaction after participating in individual counseling services seen from the gender of the student, the gender of the counselor and the working period of the counselor / counselor simultaneously.

Abstract

The problem of bullying has increased in recent years, especially for vocational students in the province of West Sumatra, this study will examine the problems in how the characteristics, factors, impacts, and efforts have been made by BK teachers and the school in overcoming bullying behavior. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data of this research are counseling guidance teachers, students of Vocational Schools of West Sumatra Province. Data collection techniques, interviews, through questionnaires and research results, bullying that occurs in vocational students in the province of West Sumatra is in the moderate category with a percentage of 41%. Guidance and counseling has an important function in overcoming problems that occur, with various counseling guidance services expected to be able to prevent bullying from occurring in the school environment.

This study aims to describe the different burnout conditions for men and women. This research is in the form of comparative descriptive with a sample of 50 employees. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert slaka model. From the results of the study note that there are significant differences between the burnout of male and female employees.

Abstract

Based on the findings in the field, there are still many students who after graduating from school are confused about finding work and are not comfortable with their work, so that individuals often quit their jobs because they are not comfortable and are not satisfied with their work. The method used in analyzing the problem is a literature study obtained from books, articles, and scientific journals that are relevant to the problems being analyzed. From this analysis, it was found that Super life span theory is a theory that explores career development throughout the life span, which in this theory explains that individuals are said to be mature or ready to make career decisions if their knowledge to make career decisions is supported by adequate information about work based on explorations. have been done. So it is very necessary to be understood by guidance and counseling teachers in order to support the understanding and career development of students. This theory can be applied in services by guidance and counseling teachers in schools which are designed based on the needs of students who are the target of services that can support the achievement of direction, determination and career development of students in the future.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the number of students who are unable to behave assertively. The purpose of this study was to see the differences in assertive behavior of male and female students. This research is a type of quantitative research with a comparative descriptive method. The number of samples was 248 students of BK FIP UNP with proportional random sampling technique. The instrument of this study was a questionnaire about assertive behavior with a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula and for differences in assertive behavior students with t-test techniques using SPSS version 20.00. The findings of this study indicate that (1) assertive behavior of students as a whole is in the moderate category with a percentage of 67.74% which expresses assertive behavior male students are higher than female students, (2) the results of the t-test state that there are differences significant with a significant level of 0.013. Based on the research, the counselor can help students with guidance and counseling services so that students have high assertive behavior.

Abstract

Behavioral vandalism carried out by students by scribbling learning facilities and infrastructure such as scribbling on walls, doors, tables and chairs using x-tips, pens, markers and pencils.This study aims to determine the description of vandalism behavior of students in junior high schools. This type of research is qualitative research in the form of case studies. The subjects in this study were 3 junior high school students using purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments used in this study were interview, observation, and documentation guidelines. The data analysis technique used in this research is thematic analysis by conducting transcripts of interviews that have been verbatim The results revealed that all research subjects (vandals) had vandalistic behavior, good, cognitive, affective, psychomotor to the perpetrator of the vandal, the cause of the vandal. Furthermore, the three subjects preferred to close themselves related to their vandal orientation. Two of the three vandals felt less comfortable at home but remained at home alone in their room, while one other felt more comfortable outside the house, and rarely spent time at home so that the communication that occurred in between children and parents is reduced and makes the relationship less close, therefore opening up feels difficult to do.

Abstract

Career readiness is very important for a students future career success. Career readiness is how much individuals are willing to exert themselves to achieve career goals. Based on the phenomena in the field, there are still  many college graduates who work not according to their study background, after completing their undergraduate education, they are not ready to face the competition in the world of work. This paper gives a theoretical  overview of the  careereadiness of college students. This research is a literature study, a method used to collect data or sources related to the topic raised in a study. The data about the determinant factors that affect career readiness that have been obtained are then analyzed using descriptive analysis methods.
