Abstract

The high rate of malnutrition in Indonesia, especially stunting in children, is caused by economic constraints, lack of nutrition education, and limited access to health services, which have an impact on children's growth, cognitive development, and academic achievement. The success of primary school nutrition improvement programs is influenced by factors such as community involvement, policy support, and parents' and teachers' understanding of nutrition, although they still face implementation challenges that need to be overcome for long-term effectiveness. This research method uses a quantitative approach with surveys and statistical analysis to examine the factors that affect the success of the nutrition improvement program in grade 1 elementary school students in three schools in Purworejo District. With 106 respondents, data were analyzed using Pearson correlation, and linear regression through SPSS 27. The results of the t-test showed that the factors that affect the success of the nutrition improvement program have a significant influence on the success of the program (t count = 5.164; Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). In addition, the results of the F test (F count = 26.666; Sig. = 0.000) confirmed that the regression model used was statistically significant so that the independent variables together affected the success of the program. The success of school nutrition programs relies on collaboration between parents, teachers, schools, and the government to improve nutritional knowledge and food availability. Policy support, including healthy food subsidies and training, is essential for ensuring the program's long-term sustainability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Kesehatan mental siswa sekolah dasar berperan penting dalam menunjang proses belajar dan perkembangan sosial. Pada siswa kelas tinggi, masih ditemukan gejala kecemasan ringan, rendahnya kepercayaan diri, serta konsentrasi yang tidak stabil, yang berkaitan dengan kualitas interaksi sosial dan kondisi lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kesehatan mental siswa kelas IV–VI serta persepsi mereka terhadap lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuantitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di SDK Ngedukelu dengan melibatkan 49 siswa sebagai sampel yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket skala Likert 4 poin untuk mengukur kesehatan mental siswa dan persepsi terhadap lingkungan sekolah. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesehatan mental siswa berada pada kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 73,2%, sedangkan persepsi terhadap lingkungan sekolah berada pada kategori baik dengan skor 75%. Aspek hubungan guru–siswa memperoleh skor tertinggi sebesar 82%, sementara aspek kenyamanan ruang kelas menunjukkan skor terendah sebesar 69%. Secara deskriptif, persepsi positif terhadap lingkungan sekolah cenderung sejalan dengan kondisi kesehatan mental siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya sekolah menciptakan iklim yang aman dan suportif, dengan prioritas perbaikan pada aspek kenyamanan ruang kelas serta penguatan dukungan emosional dan relasi sosial di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

The Healthy School Program is a strategic government initiative aimed at creating an educational environment that supports the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) among students. However, the program’s effectiveness in changing students’ behavior still requires further investigation. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Healthy School Program on changes in CHLB among students at SMPN 5 Bajawa. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method was used. The research sample consisted of 171 students selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, normality tests, Pearson correlation tests, and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the Healthy School Program was categorized as good (M = 4.10), and students’ CHLB behavior was also in the good category (M = 4.05). The correlation value of 0.692 with a significance level of 0.000 indicates a positive and significant relationship between program effectiveness and students’ CHLB behavior. Regression analysis revealed that the program’s effectiveness contributed 47.9% to changes in students’ behavior, while the remaining percentage was influenced by factors outside the school environment. Therefore, the Healthy School Program has proven effective in improving students’ clean and healthy living behaviors, although aspects related to healthy food consumption still need to be strengthened through educational, collaborative, and sustainable activities involving schools, families, and health institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya suasana belajar mengajar yang kondusif sebagai dasar dalam mewujudkan sekolah sehat di sekolah dasar. Lingkungan belajar yang bersih, aman, nyaman, dan didukung interaksi sosial yang positif berperan penting terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran dan perkembangan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran SDK Wolopogo dalam penguatan suasana belajar mengajar yang kondusif demi mewujudkan sekolah sehat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SDK Wolopogo berperan aktif melalui penyediaan lingkungan belajar yang bersih dan sehat, penerapan pembelajaran interaktif, penanaman nilai kebersihan, serta kolaborasi antara sekolah, siswa, dan orang tua. Disimpulkan bahwa penguatan suasana belajar yang kondusif mendukung terwujudnya sekolah sehat secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kesadaran sebagian masyarakat dalam memelihara kebersihan lingkungan, yang berdampak pada munculnya masalah sampah, drainase tersumbat, dan risiko penyakit. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemeliharaan lingkungan melalui pendekatan partisipatif dan edukatif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan, observasi awal, koordinasi dengan pemerintah desa, sosialisasi, penyuluhan, kerja bakti, pendampingan, dan evaluasi partisipatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat cukup aktif dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pemanfaatan hasil, dan evaluasi program. Partisipasi warga tampak dalam kehadiran rapat, pemberian masukan, swadaya tenaga, dana, dan material, serta keterlibatan menjaga hasil kegiatan. Disimpulkan bahwa pengabdian ini mampu meningkatkan kesadaran, kepedulian, dan keterlibatan masyarakat, meskipun masih diperlukan pembinaan berkelanjutan agar partisipasi lebih merata dan konsisten. Program ini juga mendorong lingkungan menjadi lebih bersih, sehat, nyaman, dan mendukung pencegahan banjir di permukiman.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the learning process is generally still conventional, with the dominance of lecture methods and the use of printed Student Worksheet which is less interactive and has not been linked to existing local wisdom. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of digital Student Worksheet based on Project Based Learning integrated with Ngada local wisdom on additive material for students of SMPS PGRI Bajawa. The method used is research and development or often called R&D (Research and Development) with the model developed is the ADDIE model. The research subjects were 20 students of class lX SMPS PGRI Bajawa. The data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and expert validation sheets. These data collection techniques allowed for comprehensive data collection to evaluate and develop digital student worksheets based on project-based learning integrated with local Ngada wisdom. in science learning at SMPS PGRI Bajawa. The data analysis techniques used by researchers in this study are qualitative and quantitative data used to obtain research data. Based on the scores the validity of the three experts was 3.94, which is in the very valid criteria. The practicality test for teacher responses was 97.91%, and student responses were 98.13%.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an interactive e-module based on the Jigsaw model integrated with Ngada local wisdom on the topic of the solar system and to examine its validity and practicality. The study employed a Research and Development method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects involved material experts, media experts, language experts, science teachers, and seventh-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation sheets, and user response questionnaires, and then analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed that the e-module obtained an average validity score of 3.96, which falls into the very valid category. The practicality test showed percentages of 95.83% from teachers and 98.13% from students, both categorized as very practical. The product also presents the material systematically, supported by illustrations, videos, easy navigation, and Jigsaw learning steps that encourage discussion, responsibility, and active student participation. Thus, the Jigsaw-based interactive e-module integrated with Ngada local wisdom is considered feasible for use in science learning on the solar system, as it supports more active, collaborative, contextual, and student-centered learning and has the potential to improve students’ interest in learning and their conceptual understanding of solar system phenomena in a meaningful way.

Abstract

Nutrition education interactive multimedia can be an alternative medium to deliver nutrition education material to overweight children. An interactive multimedia tool can provide information interactively by combining text, images, animation, audio, and video. This study aimed to develop interactive multimedia nutrition education that is valid and practical for overcoming the problem of overweight students in junior high schools. This research is research and development using the ADDIE media development model, which consists of five stages: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The data collection instruments used were validity test sheets and questionnaires. The data were then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The data analysis found that the developed interactive multimedia proved valid and practical, with a validity level of 3.50 with a feasible category for use and a practicality level of 3.76 with good criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia nutrition education is useful and practical use in the delivery of nutrition educational material for schoolchildren who are experiencing overweight problems so that multimedia can be used at school as a means of nutritional education while reducing the number of students suffering from overweight and obsessions.

Abstract

This study is based on the existence of problems at SDI Rawe related to the psychomotor skills of students who are still low and have not been well developed, so students have not been active in the implementation of learning, especially IPAS subjects. This study aims to measure the psychomotor skills of students in IPAS learning through project-based learning. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with a research design of the Kemmis and Mac Taggart model carried out in 2 cycles. Each cycle has 4 stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were 25 fifth-grade students of SDI Rawe. The data collection techniques used were observation and tests. Data collection instruments used observation sheets and psychomotor skills test sheets. The results of the project implementation in cycle I and cycle II have increased by 32%, as seen from the percentage of student activeness of 48%, which has increased by 80%. Thus it can be concluded that project-based learning can improve the psychomotor skills of students at SDI Rawe class V in IPAS subjects.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop audio visual learning media on addictive substances based on the local context of moke in Ngada Regency. The development was motivated by the limited use of contextual learning media in science instruction, particularly those integrating local cultural contexts relevant to students’ daily lives. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observations, expert validation sheets, and teacher and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively using quantitative methods. The results showed that the developed media obtained an average validity score of 3.75, categorized as very valid. In addition, the practicality level reached 94.47% based on student responses and 90.90% based on teacher responses, both categorized as very practical. These findings indicate that the developed audio visual learning media is feasible and practical for use in junior high school science learning. The integration of moke local context in the media provides a contextual learning resource that may support students’ understanding of addictive substances in relation to their surrounding environment.
