Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu proyek konstruksi ditentukan dari kesesuaian waktu, biaya dan mutu yang ditetapkan dalam dokumen kontrak. Akan tetapi pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi terkadang mengalami keterlambatan yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor. Proyek jalan merupakan salah satu dari proyek konstruksi yang sering mengalami keterlambatan dalam pelaksanaannya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya keterlambatan dalam pelaksanaan proyek jalan Kota di Sumatera Barat. Tujuan penelitian dicapai dengan melakukan survey kuisioner kepada 30 responden yang berasal dari owner pada proyek Jalan Kota di Sumatera Barat yang memiliki pengalaman kerja sebagai Satker, Asisten, KPA, PPK, dan PPTK. Data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan analisa statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab keterlambatan yang sering terjadi adalah empat faktor pada indikator tenaga kerja, dengan frekuensi tertinggi berada pada kurangnya skill tenaga kerja yang terlibat dalam proyek jalan

Abstract

Salah satu aspek terpenting dalam meningkatkan daya saing Industri Kecil adalah pengelolaan rantai pasok. Permasalahan utama dalam rantai pasok Industri Kecil produk Rendang Tuna adalah belum adanya pemasok dan alokasi yang jelas dan terorganisir untuk menjamin kontinuitas pasokan ikan tuna. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan pasokan ikan tuna sebagai bahan baku utama untuk produksi rendang tuna yang meliputi pengembangan model pemilihan dan alokasi pemasok ikan tuna sehingga dapat meminimumkan total biaya pengadaan serta merumuskan strategi rantai pasok berbasis pengelolaan pemasok untuk meningkatkan daya saing Industri Kecil produk Rendang Tuna di Kota Padang. Model pemilihan dan alokasi pemasok dinamis dikembangkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Mixed Integer Quadratic Programming dan perumusan strategi rantai pasok dirumuskan berbasis optimisasi pasokan ikan tuna menggunakan analisis SWOT. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan model pemilihan dan alokasi pemasok dinamis dengan output model adalah keputusan pemilihan pemasok dan alokasi pasokan oleh setiap pemasok yang terpilih serta menghasilkan lima rumusan strategi rantai pasok berbasis optimisasi pasokan ikan tuna yang telah diurutkan berdasarkan prioritas untuk menjamin ketersediaan pasokan ikan tuna.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian/kajian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pola rantai pasok dan menganalisis nilai tambah pada setiap anggota rantai pasoknya; serta menganalisis rantai nilai pada pelaku usaha yang memperoleh keuntungan terbesar dan pihak terkait di Kabupaten Toba Samosir. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis rantai nilai usaha ikan nila. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan untuk menghitung biaya dan keuntungan yang digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai tambah usaha. Hasil dari penelitian/kajian ini adalah (1) pola aliran rantai pasok usaha ikan nila dimulai dari pembudidaya ikan sampai kepada konsumen. Anggota rantai pasok ikan nila terdiri dari pembudidaya ikan, pedagang pengumpul, pedagang pengecer, pengolah ikan Nila dan Fillet. (2) Besarnya nilai tambah yang didapat oleh setiap pelaku rantai pasok ikan nila adalah 22,59 % untuk pembudidaya ikan nila, 86,96% untuk pedagang pengumpul, 48% untuk pedagang pengecer, 42,59% untuk pengolah ikan nila, dan 12,61% untuk pengolah ikan nila fillet. (3) pelaku usaha yang memperoleh keuntungan terbesar pada rantai nilai adalah pedagang pengumpul yaitu sebesar Rp 25.507.513 per ton atau Rp. 25.510 per kilogram ikan nila dan terdapat keterkaitan antara seluruh pelaku rantai dengan melihat fungsi dan dampaknya terhadap pertambahan nilai ikan nila menjadi ikan asin dan ikan fillet.

Abstract

In the realm of agricultural development, the governance of seed production plays a crucial role in ensuring food security and sustainable rural development. This study delves into the characteristics and challenges encountered by seed breeders in West Sumatra, Indonesia, as they endeavor to improve seed governance for village development. Through a qualitative research approach, insights were gleaned from 25 seed-breeding farmer groups, shedding light on the intricate dynamics of seed production at the grassroots level. The backdrop of this research is framed against the backdrop of global concerns regarding food security and the pivotal role played by local communities in addressing these challenges. West Sumatra, with its rich agricultural heritage and vibrant farming communities, serves as an ideal setting to explore the complexities of seed governance in the context of village development. The findings of this study illuminate the nuanced challenges faced by seed breeders, ranging from financial constraints to resource limitations and pricing pressures. Moreover, it underscores the importance of collaborative efforts involving companies, farmers, and government agencies in devising sustainable solutions to enhance seed governance. By addressing these challenges, not only can the resilience of local farming communities be strengthened, but it also contributes to broader goals of sustainable rural development and food security. This research serves as a timely contribution to the discourse on agricultural governance and underscores the need for concerted efforts at the stakeholder level to achieve tangible progress in village development.

Abstract

The sequence of product assembly affects the efficiency and effectiveness of production because it reduces cycle time and production costs and reduces production errors. The application of artificial intelligence is growing to optimize the problem of assembly sequences of components or products, including genetic algorithms and fuzzy logic. These two models can complement each other to produce the best assembly sequence. This research consists of several stages: model formulation, model analysis, solution, and model verification and validation. A hybrid fuzzy and genetic algorithms model can optimize product assembly sequences more effectively and efficiently. Fuzzy logic can help determine the variables that must be optimized, while genetic algorithms can help find the optimal solution by combining these variables. Experiments using hybrid fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms to minimize assembly cycle time have resulted in product part assembly sequences that accommodate all geometric constraints, including assistive devices.

Abstract

The Planned maintenance activities can make the production process run smoothly. The object of the research was pump machine with three phase. Based on obsevations, pumps often experience damage to critical components. This study aims to implement preventive maintenance on pump. The advantage of using preventive maintenance can determine the optimal type of maintence and maintenance time intervals for each critical component. The research stages include determining the probability density function (pdf) and reliability, determining the maintenance interval for critical component using the downtime minimization criteria that will be used to schedule maintenance  and determining the cost of corrective and preventive for each critical component. The result of the application of preventive maintenance, there were three component  that experienced a decrease in maintenance costs, namely the electromotor component experiencing a 23,7% cost reduction with a 52% reliability level, the radial bearing component experiencing  a cost reduction by 24% with a reliability level of 66,64% and the impeller component experiencing a decrease 19,5% cost with a 69% reliability rate. While the maintenance time interval for the electromotor component is 142,4 hours, the radial bearing component is 153,5 hours and the impeller component is 168,8 hours.

Abstract

Koto Tangah Sub-district is a sub-district where part of its area is located on the coast, making it prone to tsunami disasters. Despite the fact that the large number of exposures in the tsunami red zone predicted to happen in this District, there are only three tsunami shelters in the red zone of Koto Tangah District. The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of official shelters in Koto Tangah District, the distribution of planned shelters, and the coverage of shelter service areas. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method. In this study, what is discussed is the number and location of shelters, as well as the location of the planned tsunami shelters. Also, this present study sought to finding out the coverage area that can be served by the shelter with the help of GIS applications. The results of the data analysis are as follows: (1) There are nine villages (kel.) that are in the tsunami red zone of the Koto Tangah District and are not served by official shelters, namely: Kel. Padang Sarai, Kel. Batipuh Panjang, Kel. Lubuk Buaya, Kel. Pasia Nan Tigo, Kel. Batang Kabung Ganting, Kel. Koto Pulai, Kel. Koto Panjang Ikua Koto, Ex. Dadok Stumping Black, and parts of Ex. Parupuk Tabing. (2) The analyzed planned shelters and horizontal points examined that all of the Koto Tangah red zone areas can be served by shelters, and the planned shelters can be reached in the span of 34.5 minutes with a distance of 1554.57 m, meaning that people who are in the tsunami red zone can evacuate safely before the tsunami hits the city. (3) local government needs to add another 6 planned shelters in Kel. Padang Sarai, Kel. Lubuk Buaya, Kel. Pasie Nan Tigo, Kel. Batang Kabung Ganting, and Kel. Parupuk Tabing, with each shelter's planned height of 8.5 meters.

Abstract

Disasters may make people having to evacuate. When evacuating, evacuee may bring items required in evacuation place. The items must be ready previously in a bag, called a disaster preparedness bag. In case a disaster occurs, evacuee just grabs it and go for evacuation. Many bags used are not dedicated for disaster situation. Many types of items stored together and mixed causing of difficulty in retrieval. In addition, use of inappropriate bag will interfere with evacuee movement and slow down the evacuee while the evacuation time is too short. This research aims to design ergonomics disaster preparedness bag that can accommodate needs for 3x24 hours. Design process was started with planning phase to find out disaster preparedness bag development opportunity. The second phase is concept development. People who have evacuation experience are asked report their complaints regarding the bag used during previous evacuation and their needs for a disaster preparedness bag. Based on the needs, target specification is determined then concept alternatives are generated and selected. Then, main parts of the bag are identified. Continued with detailed design process, the dimensions of the proposed bag are determined using anthropometric data and dimension of required item in the first 72 hours of evacuation time. The design of proposed bag is such a backpack with multi compartments adjusted to item stored. The shoulder straps are designed like a vest then the load is not focused only on the shoulder but distributed to other part of body such as abdominal and chest muscle.

Abstract

Indonesia has more than 9,609 plant species which have medicinal properties that is spread across various regions in Indonesia. Ginger is a group of medicinal plants that are therapeutic. Ginger has been cultivated on a large scale with the highest harvested area, total production and demand in Indonesia, including the Province of North Sumatra. The use of ginger as a medicinal plant has been carried out on the scale of the Traditional Medicine Industry (IOT), of which there are 135 IOTs in Indonesia and one of them is in North Sumatra, namely in the city of Medan. This article uses the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols (PRISMA-P) method by identifying articles from various scientific report source databases, Pubmed, Scopus, Science Direct and Elsevier. The selection of articles is taken from the period between 2019-2022, 38 out of 100 articles and reports have been included in the criteria. From the studies that have been conducted, it can be concluded that the existence of IOT supported by tools and technology as well as policies that can protect the standardized herbal medicine agro-industry which will be the driving force for the ginger agro-industry so that it can meet the demand for domestic medicinal materials, increase export share, as well as be able to compete in the global market.

Abstract

Abstract:  Heavy metals are considered pollutants because its have a toxic effect on an organism if they exceed a certain concentration. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of soil materials based on the physical and chemical properties of the soil. The method used to process the data is using the Soil Chemical Properties Assessment criteria while the texture class is determined based on the Texture Triangle. The result of the physical and chemical properties analysis of the soil is to determine the fertility level of the tailings soil. The analysis was carried out by assessing the physical properties of the soil, namely soil texture, while the assessment of soil chemical properties was soil pH, Cationic Exchange Capacity (CEC), Base Saturation (BS), C-Organic, and metal percentages of Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Sodium (Na). The results of the study showed that the tailings soil had a pH value of 8.89 including the lime category, this was in line with the CEC value and the alkaline saturation was classified as high and very high with values of 31.33% and 94.67 cmol/kg, as well as the values of Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Sodium (Na) which showed very high amounts in the results of the TSF 56 tailings soil testing laboratory. However, the value of C-Organic content is 0.16%, including a very low category. The permeability value of tailings soil is quite low, which is 0.21%, this is in line with the texture of tailings soil which is dominated by clay and dust so that the ability to drain water is very low.Abstrak: Logam berat dianggap sebagai pencemar karena memiliki efek racun pada suatu organisme apabila sudah melebihi konsentrasi tertentu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik material tanah berdasarkan sifat fisik dan kimia tanah. Metoda yang digunakan untuk mengolah data adalah menggunakan kriteria Penilaian Sifat Kimia Tanah sedangkan kelas tekstur ditentukan berdasarkan motoda Segitiga Tekstur. Hasil dari analisis sifat fisik dan kimia tanah adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kesuburan tanah tailing. Analisis dilakukan dengan menilai sifat fisika tanah yaitu tekstur tanah, sedangkan penilaian sifat kimia tanah yaitu pH tanah, Kapasitas Tukar Kation (KTK), Kejenuhan Basa (KB), C-Organik, dan persentaase logam Kalium (K), Kalsium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Natrium (Na). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tanah tailing memiliki nilai pH sebesar 8.89 termasuk kategori kalis, hal ini sejalan dengan nilai KTK dan kejenuhan basa tergolong tinggi dan sanggat tinggi dengan nilai 31,33 % dan 94,67 cmol/kg, begitupun dengan nilai Kalium (K), Kalsium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Natrium (Na) yang menunjukan jumlah yang sanggat tinggi pada hasil laboratorium pengujian tanah tailing TSF 56. Namun untuk nilai kandungan C-Organik adalah 0.16% termasuk katagori sangat rendah. Untuk nilai permeabilitas tanah tailing cukup rendah yaitu 0.21 %, ini sejalan dengan tesktur tanah tailing yang didominasi oleh liat dan debu sehingga kemampuan melolokan air sangat rendah.
