Abstract

This study aims to create a valid computer-based concept understanding instrumen as a measurement tool for students' understanding of chemistry subjects with basic ingredients of atomic structure. Research, including research and development (Research and Development) discusses the ADDIE development model, including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Testing instrumens in learning is carried out on class X MIA MA Nahdlatul Wathan Mataram, NTB. Design research trials using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results showed that the average value of the instrumen worthiness of the three validators was 82.2% with very reasonable criteria. The use of computer-based concept understanding instrumens in limited trials gained an average score of 80.5% from teachers and students with very practical criteria. The results of this study prove that the media developed have valid and practical concepts to increase students' understanding

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of Sound Wave Science in the culture of the Beleq Drum of the Sasak Tribe. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with observation, interview, and documentation study techniques. Concept analysis is used to analyze the concept of science, especially sound wave material in the Beleq Drum Culture of the Sasak Tribe which will later be developed into a culturally integrated LKPD. The results obtained are the existence of the Science Concept, especially in the sound wave material in the Beleq drum culture of the Sasak tribe, especially when playing the Beleq drum musical instrument when the drum is beaten, it will produce sound waves that will later be heard by the human sense of hearing. This can be used as a science learning medium that is quickly understood by students because the Beleq drum culture is a culture that is often found by students and a culture that must be preserved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan elektronik modul berbantuan Assemblr EDU berbasi Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang terintegrasi kearifan lokal yang valid. Integrasi kearifan lokal dan teknologi AR melalui Assemblr EDU diperlukan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara konsep abstrak IPA dengan konteks kehidupan nyata siswa, yang selama ini belum banyak dikaji dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang dibatasi hingga tahap develop. Model ini dipilih karena mampu mengarahkan proses pengembangan secara terstruktur. Tahap develop difokuskan pada validasi ahli dan penyempurnaan e-modul berdasarkan hasil penilaian untuk memastikan kualitas produk sebelum diimplementasikan. Objek validasi penelitian ini adalah ATP, modul ajar, E-Modul, Instrumen Tes Literasi Sains, Instrumen angket keterampilan proses sains. Validasi dilakukan dengan enam validator dari ahli materi, ahli media, ahli Bahasa, dan guru praktisi. Instrument yang digunakan adalah angket validasi yang dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan rumus aiken’s V dan reliabilitas dinilai menggunakan Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran e-modul berada pada kategori “valid” dengan skor diatas 0,79 dengan nilai rata-rata skor 0,9. Hasil reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran e-modul berada pada kategori “reliabel” dengan skor keseluruhan diatas 0,75 dengan rata-rata skor 0,79. Modul ini dinyatakan valid dan reliabel untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA kontekstual berbasis kearifan lokal. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, e-modul ini berpotensi meningkatkan literasi sains dan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui penyajian materi yang interaktif, kontekstual, dan sesuai kebutuhan pembelajaran abad 21.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru MGMP Kimia Lombok Timur terhadap profil, akreditasi, prestasi, serta prospek karier lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP Universitas Mataram sebagai dasar dalam memberikan arahan studi lanjut kepada siswa. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih terbatasnya informasi yang dimiliki guru sekolah mitra mengenai capaian program studi dan keragaman jalur karier alumni pendidikan kimia. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi profil program studi, orientasi karier lulusan pendidikan kimia, diskusi interaktif, serta evaluasi melalui angket respon guru. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara luring dengan melibatkan 22 guru MGMP Kimia Lombok Timur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 76% guru baru mengetahui akreditasi unggul Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia FKIP UNRAM, 82% guru menyatakan bersedia merekomendasikan siswa untuk melanjutkan studi ke program studi tersebut, dan 70% guru menyatakan masih membutuhkan referensi tambahan terkait peluang karier kimia di luar profesi guru. Temuan ini mengindikasikan peningkatan pemahaman dan persepsi positif guru terhadap pendidikan kimia sebagai bidang studi dengan prospek karier yang luas. Luaran kegiatan berupa penguatan jejaring kemitraan antara universitas dan MGMP, peningkatan literasi karier sains guru, serta data persepsi mitra yang bermanfaat bagi pengembangan strategi promosi program studi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji validitas, reliabilitas e-modul kimia berbasis kearifan lokal terintegrasi model Culturally Responsive Transformative Teaching. Model CRTT ini penting karena memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk memahami konsep melalui integrasi budaya. Integrasi kearifan lokal penting untuk membangun relevansi pembelajaran dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, memudahkan pemahaman konsep yang abstrak, dan melatih berpikir kritis siswa. E-modul ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah R&D dengan model 4D. Tahap define dilakukan analisis capaian dan tujuan pembelajaran, materi, siswa, dan kearifan lokal. Tahap design dilakukan penyusunan instrumen, outline dan isi e-modul, serta e-modul prototype I. Tahap develop dilakukan uji validitas e-modul prototype I, revisi, dihasilkan e-modul prototype II, dan dilakukan uji coba e-modul yaitu uji kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Tahap disseminate akan dilakukan penyebaran e-modul melalui website Simplebooklet, sekolah penelitian dan publikasi jurnal. Metode validasi yang digunakan yaitu metode Aiken’s V dan metode reliabilitas menggunakan metode Percentage of Agreement. Validasi dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, bahasa, tampilan, dan orientasi model CRTT dari e-modul yang dikembangkan. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi ahli dan analisis data menggunakan indeks Aiken’s V dan Borich untuk analisis reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu e-modul kimia berbasis kearifan lokal terintegrasi model CRTT mendapatkan nilai yang sangat tinggi dengan nilai validitas sebesar 81% tergolong sangat valid dengan rincian validitas isi sebesar 80%, aspek penyajian 84%, bahasa 78%, tampilan 78%, dan orientasi model 81% serta nilai reliabilitas dari tim validator diperoleh rata-rata 93% termasuk reliabel. E-modul dinilai layak dan reliabel digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran guna mendukung pembelajaran mandiri, interaktif, dan kontekstual untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini berimplikasi positif dalam pembelajaran kimia yaitu memiliki potensi meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, mempermudah pemahaman konsep siswa, dan mengembangkan berpikir kritis sehingga meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, e-modul juga dapat menjadi alternatif bahan ajar bagi guru dan mendukung pembelajaran digital di sekolah.

Abstract

This study is a literature review that aims to explore the influence of the Inquiry Learning model on improving scientific attitudes in science learning. The scientific attitudes in question include curiosity, objectivity, openness to evidence, and perseverance in the process of seeking the truth. Using the analytical descriptive method, data were collected from 1,000 Google Scholar indexed documents between 2020 and 2025, then analyzed using software such as Publish or Perish, Dimension.ai, and VOSviewer. The results of the study show that the inquiry learning model, both guided, laboratory-based, and integrated with concrete media and digital technology, significantly contributes to improving students' scientific attitudes. Bibliometric visualization shows that this topic is a major trend in scientific publications, with a dominant distribution in journal articles. This study also found that the integration of social, cultural, and spiritual aspects in the inquiry approach has a positive impact on the formation of students' scientific character. However, there is still room for further exploration on themes such as mobile learning and inquiry frameworks that have not been widely studied. Thus, inquiry learning is not only relevant in building students' scientific foundations, but also becomes a strategic approach that is adaptive to the needs of 21st century learning. Abstract

Mamaq is a traditional practice passed down through generations of the Sasak tribe. Analysing the idea of science in relation to the physical and chemical alterations in the Sasak tribe’s mamaq tradition is the goal of this study. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type to explore in-depth knowledge about the mamaq tradition of the Sasak tribe. Direct observation and interviews were used to get data from community leaders and cultural figures, as well as secondary data from various relevant written sources. The analysis results found several scientific concepts in the mamaq tradition related to physical and chemical changes, including: 1) The betel nut that is cut, there is a physical change in the structure of the betel nut from a round shape to small pieces. 2) The betel leaves that are folded, there is a change in the shape of the leaves into a square fold. 3) There is a transition from a solid to a liquid texture in the ground mamaq substance. 4) The combination of mamaq components, where the chemicals in the finely ground substances generate a red colour. Thus, it may be said that the physical and chemical changes in the Sasak tribe’s mamaq tradition contain a scientific concept

Abstract

Black cumin seed extract (Nigella sativa) is effective to control ASTM A36 steel corrosion in 1 M HCl solution. This study analyzed black cumin seed (BCS) extract as a corrosion inhibitor (0 to 500 ppm) by electrochemical method including Potentiodynamic Polarization (PDP) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). The results revealed that with the PDP method the highest inhibition efficiency (IE) was 84.26% at the concentration of 500 ppm, and with the EIS method the IE value was 77.77% at the same concentration. The components of the extract were analyzed by GCMS and obtained major compounds are linoleic acid (22.12%), methyl linoleate (22.70%), 4-cyclopentene-1,3-dione,4-3-methyl-2-butenyl) (7.64%), methyl palmitate (6.66%), and palmitic acid (5.14%). A theoretical approach with computation was also carried out to investigate the performance and interaction of the major compounds in the BCS extract that a significant role as inhibitor. This was using Density Functional Theory (DFT) method and Monte Carlo simulation. The results showed that methyl linoleate compound as the most significant role.

Abstract

Penujak Village, located in Central Lombok Regency, is known as the oldest pottery production center on Lombok Island. Supported by skilled and experienced artisans, Penujak pottery is recognized for its high artistic value and serves as a symbol of local cultural identity. However, the production process still relies on manual techniques that are time-consuming, resulting in low productivity, inconsistent shapes, and unstable quality. Therefore, a sustainable development strategy is required. The purpose of this program is to introduce innovations through the use of the Automatic Pottery Wheel and Electric Spray Gun to improve the efficiency, quality, and production consistency without diminishing the artistic and traditional values of Penujak pottery. The activities were carried out through socialization and training sessions aimed at local artisans in Penujak Village. The implementation process consisted of three main stage: socialization, demonstration, and mentoring. The results of the program showed that the introduction of the Automatic Pottery Wheel and Electric Spray Gun had a significant impact on improving the efficiency and quality of pottery production. The time required to produce simple pottery items such as plates, which previously took around ten minutes manually, was reduced to only five minutes using the automatic tool, while maintaining better shape consistency. The Electric Spray Gun also produced more even coloring without covering the distinctive traditional motifs of Penujak pottery. Furthermore, this program successfully increased artisans’ motivation to continue innovating, enhanced product competitiveness, and fostered the growth of the local creative economy in Penujak Village. Thus, the program has successfully achieved its objectives. The Automatic Pottery Wheel proved effective in saving time through stable rotation that accelerates the shaping process, while the Electric Spray Gun produced smoother and more uniform coloring compared to manual methods.
