Abstract

Coronary heart disease (CHD) continues to be a leading cause of hospital readmissions, especially among elderly individuals with low educational attainment and limited understanding of health information. This research aimed to evaluate how cardiac care management influences the frequency of hospital readmission in patients diagnosed with CHD. Employing a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the study involved 100 participants at Jombang Hospital, chosen through purposive sampling. Information regarding readmission rates was gathered before and after the intervention using structured questionnaires and assessed through the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Before receiving the intervention, 25% of patients had been readmitted more than twice, while none avoided readmission altogether. Following the management program, only 5% experienced multiple readmissions, and 25% reported none. The statistical outcome demonstrated a significant difference (p = 0.002), proving that cardiac care interventions consisting of educational support, family involvement, and consistent follow-up effectively decreased patient readmission. Most participants were aged between 61 and 75, male, and had only completed elementary school, all of which are factors associated with poor disease self-management. This trial confirms that integrated cardiac care management greatly improves the outcomes of recovery and decreases the risk of rehospitalization in CHD patients.

Abstract

Background: Cardiac catheterization is an invasive diagnostic procedure using one or more catheters inserted into the heart and certain blood vessels to determine the degree of narrowing in the coronary arteries. Catheterization access through the radial artery shows better results that are not free from complications of bleeding and hematoma. Purpose: To determine whether there is a relationship between the duration of mechanical compression of the radial artery and the incidence of bleeding. Methods: Quantitative cross Sectional . The sample size was 40 patients, divided into 2 groups, namely 20 respondents who in aff mechanical compression at three hours and 20 respondents at four hours. Results: Observations were made every 15 minutes in the first hour, every 30 minutes in the second hour, and every 1 hour in the following hours. Research results: The chi-square test obtained p = 0.038¸ p value ≤ α (0.05) then H0 was rejected, which is statistically interpreted as a relationship, so it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the duration of aff mechanical compression on the radial artery and bleeding in post-operative corangiography patient. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the duration of aff mechanical compression of the radial artery and bleeding in post corangiography standby PCI patients. Optimal compression duration is essential to minimize bleeding complications and improve the safety of the procedure.

Abstract

The importance of the existence of Village Unit Cooperatives in rural areas in order to protect rural communities so that they avoid loans that have large interest rates, limited capital in developing businesses, and several other things that become obstacles to the development of rural community businesses made the author take the initiative to carry out community service in the context of revitalizing the Sumber Pangan Nganjuk Village Unit Cooperative, the Usaha Makmur Talise Village Unit Cooperative, the Subur Sutiyana Farmers Cooperative, South Kalimantan, and the Murni Village Unit Cooperative in West Sumatra, which were passive and not well managed with the following stages. In the end, the author hopes that with an active KUD, the village can become independent and create an independent, digital-based village. The results in this article show 1. The initial stages carried out are major revitalization by regenerating unproductive human resources by prioritizing productive and superior human resources, collaborating with village officials, tidying up the administration and secretariat, and creating realistic minor programs to be implemented in the near future. 2. The second stage is major revitalization if the minor program has been running to spread its wings by requesting funding from the local regional government and collaborating with third parties who have low interest rates, including financial institutions, banking, fintech, and so on. 3. If minor and major revitalization has been carried out then the achievements of an independent village can easily be achieved. In the end, the village only needs to upgrade the form of service to digital. In this way, a digital-based independent village has been achieved.

Abstract

Several historical studies that exist today have reviewed how the fishing industry developed during the colonial period. However, generally existing studies focus more on aspects of marine and port fisheries. The inland or freshwater fisheries aspect is not highlighted much. One of the results of the development of inland fisheries knowledge and technology is the innovation of mudjair fish. This paper tries to dig deeper into the innovators of mudjair fish both in terms of background knowledge and domestication methods. The method used in this paper is the historical method. Based on the results of the study, Mudjair's knowledge as an innovator is based on informal knowledge. The series of fish domestication processes he used were scientific organic knowledge. This is evidence of intellectual progress and innovation in the field of fisheries.

Abstract

The discourse on Indonesian Nationalism will never end. As the basis of the state, nationalism needs to continue to be reflected to remain relevant to current developments. The phenomenon of narrowing the meaning of Indonesian Nationalism and stagnation in the mainstream narrative which leads to the fossilisation of meaning is also an important and urgent topic to study. The big question is whether Indonesian Nationalism is still on rails and corridors that are relevant to the current condition of the nation. This article will specifically dissect in a deconstructive manner the paradigm of Indonesian Nationalism as a "joint project" as a form of response to stagnation and narrow mainstream narratives about nationalism. This paper also analyzes it in a historical framework, specifically taking a case study of racial communal conflict after the 1998 Reformation using the analytical knife of Benedict Anderson's Imagined Communities. There are three sub-discussions which will explain the background conditions and challenges of Indonesian Nationalism, the deconstruction of the paradigm of Indonesian Nationalism and how nationalism should be addressed as a "joint project" of a nation.

Abstract

This article explains the report in community service of training in writing English couplets for students of SMAN 19 Surabaya in 2024. Couplets are one of English literary works, especially poems, in which two lines of verse are joined in a rhyme. Writing couplets is important to dig understanding about both indications of structures in English poems alongside students’ creative imaginations. Structuralism is a perspective that underlines analysis of structures in English language, especially through English literary works. It is also known that structure in English language is meant to be universal rather than particular. Through an exploratory approach within qualitative research, this manuscript underscores structuralism as a way to identify aspects of literature regarding training of writing couplets. Couplet is a work that pays attention to pouring imaginations from the authors’ mind towards a structured sense of lyrical poem. Though the ideas come from various authors’ imaginations, this kind of literature and its writing process may still open to various possibilities in advance. In conclusion, the training of writing couplets is essential not only to give knowledge about patterns of poems in English literature, but also to get it in line with students’ everyday experience and imaginations.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims to elucidate Indonesian sovereignty post-1945 independence. Employing a historical approach, it delves into historical occurrences based on various pertinent sources, be they primary or secondary. The paper underscores Indonesia's upholding of autonomy through a national revolution, placing it among nations that secured independence after the Second World War. The Republic of Indonesia encountered internal and external hurdles over a prolonged span of five years. The amalgamation of diverse political-military factions in Indonesia was marred by discord and sporadic outbursts of violence. This state of affairs was exacerbated by Allied forces seeking to reinstate the pre-World War II global political status quo and the Netherlands' desire to reassert control over Indonesia. A blend of conflict and diplomacy pursued by the Republic of Indonesia reached an accord at the Netherlands–Indonesian Round Table Conference, acknowledging the nation's sovereignty. Nevertheless, the aspirations of the national founding figures for economic self-sufficiency and political authority remained unfulfilled post-independence. Hence, a decolonization process entwined with the neo-colonialism phenomenon stands as imperative.

Abstract

Literacy activities in education hold a crucial position, particularly reading within history education. Addressing literacy challenges encountered in the history learning process at State Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Sumenep, there arises a necessity for innovation in implementing school literacy movements. LIRIS stands as an innovative initiative formed by the School Literacy Team (Tim Literasi Sekolah/TLS) at SMAN 1 Sumenep, aimed at addressing literacy challenges by amalgamating literacy processes with research. This research aims to find out the implementation and problems of history learning in the GLS program and find out how LIRIS can be an innovation in literacy activities. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, presentation, and verification. Findings reveal: (1) GLS implementation in history education generally follows existing guidelines, observable in familiarization, development, and learning stages, yet specifics vary based on classroom conditions and teacher innovation, (2) literacy activity issues in history education arise across student, teacher, and school support aspects, and (3) LIRIS emerges as an innovative literacy activity addressing both general and specific history education challenges, albeit still necessitating evaluation and refinement.
