Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of training, the use ofinformation system, regional financial management, competence, and internal control onfinancial statement quality with leadership style as moderating variable. The research usedassociative causal method, using primary data and questionnaires. The population was 94financial managers and treasuers. The data were analyzed by using multiple linear regressionanalysis and moderating variable with residual test. The result of the research showed that,simultaneouly training, the use of information system, regional financial management,competence, and internal control had siginifant influence on financial statement quality.Partially, training, the use of information system, regional financial management,competence, and internal control had siginifant influence on financial statement quality.Leadership style could not moderate the correlation of training, the use of informationsystem, regional financial management, competence, and internal control with financialstatement quality.

Abstract

The aims of this paper is to explore the effect of recruitment and selection, compensation, training and performance appraisal on employee performance for employees in the context of logistics companies in Batam. In this study, at the first phase, a structured questionnaire was developed by using Likert 5 scale and applied on 300 respondents, who are currently working at different positions of logistics companies in Batam.   The study revealed that all the factors significantly create impact on the employees? performance. This study can significantly contribute to the recruiters of human resources of different logistics companies, as it clearly demonstrates how positive contribution can be derived from the employees using appropriate strategies.

Abstract

Performance of employees is the result of employees' efforts and efforts to achieve work performance that fulfills their obligations to the company. The common goal of the company is to get the benefits that can be achieved with the help of high performance employees.This research was conducted by distributing 275 questionnaires which then obtained 265 feedback from respondents regarding the performance of employees at supermarket companies in Batam. The results of data collection from respondents were tested using SPSS.From the test results it is known that there is a significant positive relationship in all tested variables in accordance with the formulated hypothesis. The results of this study are expected to enrich research related to human resource management and be useful for company management in evaluating the factors that affect employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan pada toko ritel modern Indomaret dan Alfamart di Batam. Pertumbuhan sektor toko ritel modern Alfamart dan Indomaret ini sudah menjangkau wilayah keramaian di pusat perdaagangan hingga ke lingkungan perumahan. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini mencakup kompensasi, motivasi, komitmen terhadap organisasi dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di toko ritel modern tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan sekitar 250 responden melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan pada karyawan gerai Alfamart dan Indomaret di Batam. Kuesioner disebar dan didapatkan pengembalian kuesioner sebanyak 240 dan kemudian diuji datanya dengan menggunakan SPSS. . Berdasarkan hasil uji data diketahui bahwa semua variabel independen yang diuji berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dari gerai Alfamart dan Indomaret di Batam. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi manfaat bagi perusahaan dalam merancang program peningkatan kinerja karyawan yang akan menopang pertumbuhan usaha menjadi lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

Currently, organizations place more emphasis on efforts that can result in improvements in employee performance. High performance means that employee productivity is also greater and they are able to carry out tasks with better results in the workplace. This study examined the influence of employee abilities, esprit de corps, trust and recognition & reward on employee performance. This study examined data from 285 respondents who were employees of type B hospitals in Batam, namely Awal Bross Hospital, Budi Kemerdekaan Hospital, BP Batam Hospital and Embung Fatimah Hospital. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires containing statements from the variables studied and then tested the data using SPSS. The results showed a significant relationship between the four independent variables tested on employee performance. With this result, it is hoped that it can become an input for hospital management in Batam to become a reference in improving employee performance.

Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the effect of working environment, compensation, job engagement, and job security on employees’ organizational commitment of employees of four fast food chains restaurant in Batam. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 400 employees of five biggest national bank branches in Batam. There’re 380 questionnaires collected back and filled out completely and then analized by using SPSS. Data processing shown that there are relationships between all the variables studied. Results of this showed that there’re relations between working environment, compensation, job engagement, job security to employee commitment. This studiy emphasizes the importance for fast food chains restaurant management to pay more attention to the variables studied above. Abstract

Keberlangsungan pada suatu perusahaan tidak saja dilihat dari berhasilnya pengelolaan pada bagian keuangan, pemasaran, dan produknya, namun juga dilihat dari keberhasilan perusahaan tersebut dalam melakukan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia. Karyawan di dalam suatu perusahaan adalah aset penting selain modal, mesin, dan metode. Karyawan harus bisa dikelola dengan sebaik mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Emotional Intelligence, Empowerment, Work Environment, Motivation dan Teamwork terhadap Job Satisfaction pada Bank BPR di Kota Batam. Kuesioner yang telah disebarkan adalah 300 kuesioner yang memiliki 38 pertanyaan. Data dari hasil penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan akan dianalisis menggunakan program Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) versi 21. hasil analisa dan pembahasan yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Emotional Intelligence, Motivation dan Teamwork berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Job Satisfaction. Untuk variabel Empowerment dan Work Environment hasil menunjukan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel kompensasi, komitmen organisasional, motivasi dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan bank nasional yang ada di Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 250 responden yang merupakan karyawan dari lima bank terbesar di Indonesia, yaitu Bank Mandiri, Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Central Asia, Bank Negara Indonesia dan Bank CIMB Niaga yang berada di Batam. Setelah kuesioner disebarkan dan dikumpulkan kembali oleh penulis, berhasil didapatkan 240 kuesioner yang diisi dengan lengkap sehingga bisa dilakukan pengujian data regresi oleh penulis dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Dari hasil pengolahan data dengan program SPSS diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan antara semua variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan tentang pentingnya bagi manajemen bank nasional untuk memberikan perhatian yang lebih besar pada variabel yang diteliti diatas. Karena semua variabel tersebut diatas berhubungan erat dengan kinerja karyawan, sehingga bila perusahaan ingin meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya maka hal tersbut diatas harus ditingkatkan dan diperbaiki.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, lingkungan kerja, kompensasi dan pelatihan kerja terhadap keterikatan karyawan hotel berbintang yang ada di Batam. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan keterikatan kerja karyawan hotel berbintang di Batam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 350 responden yang merupakan karyawan lima hotel berbintang yangmemiliki jumlah karyawan terbanyak di Batam. Setelah kuesioner disebarkan dan dikumpulkan kembali oleh penulis, berhasil didapatkan 350 kuesioner yang diisi dengan lengkap sehingga bisa dilakukan pengujian data regresi oleh penulis dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Dari hasil pengolahan data dengan SPSS diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan pada hampir semua variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan tentang pentingnya bagi manajemen hotel berbintang untuk memberikan perhatian yang lebih besar pada variabel yang diteliti diatas. Karena hampir semua variabel tersebut diatas mempunyai hubungan erat dengan keterikatan karyawan, sehingga bila perusahaan ingin meningkatkan keterikatan karyawannya maka hal tersebut diatas harus ditingkatkan dan diperbaiki. kepemimpinan, kepuasan kerja, lingkungan kerja, kompensasi dan pelatihan kerja, keterikatan karyawan dan hotel berbintang
