Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment, work motivation, rewards, and compensation on employee performance, as well as the mediating variableof job satisfaction. The method used in this research is a quantitative analysis method and a survey method by distributing questionnaires and producing 404 respondents from manufacturing companies in the city of Batam. This research was tested using the Smart Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS) model, namely a model that uses partial least squares based on partial and total probability. The results of this study show that the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, awards have a significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a significant effect on the work environment, the work environment is mediated by job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation mediated by job satisfaction has an effect on employee performance, rewards mediated by job satisfaction have an effect on employee performance, and compensation mediated by job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. The results of this research are able to illustrate what factors can produce employees with high qualifications.

Abstract

A major manufacturing opportunity in Indonesia lies in Batam City, with 70% of electronics production. Six major companies, such as PT Epson Batam and PT Schneider Electric, play a key role. Human resource management (HRM) is a crucial factor in the company's success. Employees who are motivated, satisfied, work in a conducive environment, have good working relationships, and a good level of education can improve company performance. Work motivation, job satisfaction, work environment, work relationships, and employee education level affect performance, with leadership style as a mediator. SEM-PLS analysis shows that these variables have a significant influence. Leadership style acts as a strong mediator, linking motivation, satisfaction, environment, relationships, and education with employee performance. The findings provide important insights for companies in developing HR management strategies to improve performance and competitiveness in the manufacturing industry. Abstract

In the current era of globalization, HR management has become the main focus in achieving success for a company. Quality human resources will provide significant benefits and help companies gain competitive advantage amidst increasingly fierce business competition. This can be seen from HR’s ability to achieve company goals optimally through effective HR management practices. This research was conducted to examine the influence of motivation, work environment, leadership style, and discipline on work productivity. This research uses a quantitive method using a google form containing questions that are distributed to respondent. The total sample in this study was 342 respondent, the data was processed using SPSS version 26. The research result showed that the variables motivation, leadership style, and discipline had a significant effect on work productivity while the work environment had no significant effect.

Abstract

Public services that have high quality standards, often referred to as excellent services, refer to the best services that meet certain standards. Service standards act as guidelines for providing services and are the basis for assessing the quality of these services. This standard is not only a reference in providing quality services, but also reflects the commitment and promise of service providers to the community. This research method is to use a non-probability sampling technique, namely a purposive sampling method where the sample is not carried out randomly but can be adjusted to predetermined criteria. This sampling was of course carried out by giving questionnaires to respondents who met the criteria expected in this research, namely the public and public service employees were only able to fill out this questionnaire. This research was carried out by distributing questionnaires as a medium for collecting research data obtained from respondents. The research carried out can be broken down into analytical studies involving the role of employees as mediators in the relationship between several factors, such as community satisfaction, work environment, work motivation, work discipline and leadership, on public services in MPP Batam City. This research is related between these variables to understand how employee performance can mediate the influence of these factors on public services.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of the work environment, work discipline, work motivation, and leadership style on employee performance, with a focus on the mediating role of job satisfaction. The quantitative analysis method was employed, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 400 respondents from manufacturing companies in the city of Batam. The findings of the study reveal several significant relationships. The work environment has a considerable effect on job satisfaction, and similarly, work discipline and work motivation also significantly influence job satisfaction. Leadership style is found to have a significant impact on job satisfaction. Importantly, job satisfaction is identified as a significant factor influencing employee performance. Furthermore, the study indicates that job satisfaction mediates the relationship between the work environment and employee performance. Similarly, work discipline, work motivation, and leadership style also exhibit a mediated impact on employee performance through job satisfaction. These research results provide insights into the factors contributing to the development of highly qualified employees. Moreover, the study emphasizes the pivotal role of employee performance, highlighting its substantial impact on the overall success and performance of a company.

Abstract

Kepercayaan pasien merupakan salah satu elemen yang penting bagi perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan asuhan keperawatan. Tanpa adanya kepercayaan maka keberhasilan dalam menangani masalah yang dihadapi pasien akan sulit dan memengaruhi kualitas pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kepercayaan pasien terhadap pelayanan asuhan keperawatan di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian deskriptif ekspoloratif dengan desain cross-sectional study. Populasi adalah seluruh pasien di ruang rawat inap dengan kriteria inklusi minimal berusia 18 tahun, telah dirawat inap minimal 1 hari, dan kesadaran penuh. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 127 responden dengan cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kepercayaan pasien dengan nilai reliabilitas 0,966. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepercayaan pasien adalah baik sebanyak 61 responden (48.0%), 66 responden (52.0%) cukup. Dilihat dari dimensi kemampuan (ability) adalah cukup 89 responden (70,1%), kebaikan hati (benevolence) 89 responden (70,1%), dan integritas (integrity) perawat 79 responden (62,2%). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepercayaan pasien terhadap pelayanan asuhan keperawatan di ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Meuraxa Kota Banda Aceh memiliki kepercayaan cukup. Direkomendasikan agar instansi rumah sakit meningkatkan pelayanan di ruang rawat inap guna meningkatkan kepercayaan pasien terhadap pelayanan keperawatan, salah satunya dengan memfasilitasi kotak saran disetiap ruang rawat untuk menampung aspirasi pasien dan keluarga. Hal yang harus ditingkatkan perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan adalah dimensi kemampuan, kebaikan hati, dan integritas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan pada toko ritel modern Indomaret dan Alfamart di Batam. Pertumbuhan sektor toko ritel modern Alfamart dan Indomaret ini sudah menjangkau wilayah keramaian di pusat perdaagangan hingga ke lingkungan perumahan. Variabel yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini mencakup kompensasi, motivasi, komitmen terhadap organisasi dan pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di toko ritel modern tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan sekitar 250 responden melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan pada karyawan gerai Alfamart dan Indomaret di Batam. Kuesioner disebar dan didapatkan pengembalian kuesioner sebanyak 240 dan kemudian diuji datanya dengan menggunakan SPSS. . Berdasarkan hasil uji data diketahui bahwa semua variabel independen yang diuji berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan dari gerai Alfamart dan Indomaret di Batam. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberi manfaat bagi perusahaan dalam merancang program peningkatan kinerja karyawan yang akan menopang pertumbuhan usaha menjadi lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membantu Mutiara Kaca Film dalam menghadapi permasalahan utamanya, yaitu kurangnya sistem promosi dalam memasarkan produk yang ditawarkan, kurangnya strategi promosi sebagai media untuk mencapai peningkatan penjualan dan kurangnya strategi promosi untuk menjakau masayarakat akan keberadaan UMKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah metode wawancara dan metode observasi yang dilakukan secara langsung dengan mengunjungu lokasi. Tujuan ini sudah tercapai denga adanya hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan, yaitu telah berhasil membuat konten video promosi dengan mendapatkan lebih dari 170 likes, Hal ini dapat disimpulkan juga bahwa dengan adanya kegiatan ini telah berhasil membangun brand image dan memperkenalkan Mutiara Kaca Film kepada masyarakat luas. Mutiara Kaca Film juga berhasil meningkatkan penjualan sebesar 15%, hal ini didukung dengan kartu member yang ditawarkan memiliki peminat sebanyak 37 pelanggan. Selain itu Mutiara Kaca Film mendapatkan respon positif dari pelanggan atas layanan yang diberikan melalui WhatsApp Business, maka dengan adanyan kegiatan ini berhasil membangun citra positif Mutiara Kaca Film. Melihat hasil yang positif, penerapan strategi promosi advertising, sales promotion, dan public relation yang merupakan bagian dari promotion mix ini sukses membantu pemilik usaha untuk meningkatkan minat pelanggan, pendapatan, serta membangun citra positif dari Mutiara Kaca Film

Abstract

The Increased consumption of carbohydrates and glucose during Ramadan is very dangerous for people with type 2 diabetes. This is because during Ramadan there is a change in the frequency of meals and meal times, and thus can affect the health of people with Type 2 diabetes. Evidence shows that the adverse effects of Ramadan fasting on increasing blood sugar in people with Type 2 diabetes can be prevented by training and changing healthy diets. This study aims to determine the effect of a nutrition education program based on the Health Belief Model (HBM) on the perception of patients with Type 2 diabetes about eating patterns during the month of Ramadhan in Banda Aceh city. The design of this research was a quasi experiment with a control group. The populations were patients with Type 2 diabetes living across the responsible area of Ulee Kareng’s Community Health Centre, Banda Aceh City. Data was collected using a Likert Scale to measure the perception of patients with Type 2 diabetes about eating patterns during the month of Ramadan based on the HBM theory. The intervention was a Nutrition Education for case groups using guidebooks and booklets. The results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the Mann Whitney U Test. The results showed that there is a different perception of vulnerability, seriousness, benefits and barriers on eating patterns during the month of Ramadan in the intervention group between before and after the HBM-Based Nutrition Education Program. Another result indicated that there are no differences in perceptions of vulnerability, seriousness, benefits and barriers on eating patterns during Ramadan in the control group between measurement I and measurement II. This study concludes that the HBM-Based Nutrition Education Program is proven to be effective in increasing the perception of people with Type 2 diabetes about eating patterns during Ramadan.

Abstract

Manajemen risiko adalah kegiatan menemukan dan analisis untuk sistematis yang akan dipergunakan sebuah perusahaan dalam menghadapi sebuah ketidakpastian dengan harapan dengan sistematis tersebut dapat menciptakan profitabilitas dan mengurangi kerugian yang akan terjadi dalam sebuah perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, usaha bisnis harus dapat menganut Manajemen Risiko. Melalui metode etnografi dan metode pendidikan sehingga dapat menganalisis Cafe Abang dalam perihal Manajemen Risiko. Manajemen Risiko yang direalisasikan Cafe Abang tergolong baik untuk masa berjalan usaha bisnis selama 4 tahun.Kata kunci: Manajemen Risiko, Risiko Strategis, Perencanaan Sumber Daya
