Abstract

Political ideology classification is crucial for understanding social polarization, monitoring democratic processes, and identifying bias on online platforms. This study compares the performance of long short-term memory (LSTM), gated recurrent unit (GRU), and bidirectional GRU (Bi-GRU) neural network models in classifying liberal and conservative political ideologies from social media text data. The Bi-GRU achieved the best results with 88.75% accuracy and 89.16% F1-score, highlighting its strength in contextual analysis. These findings suggest their applicability in areas such as election monitoring and the analysis of political discourse. This study contributes to the field of political text classification by offering a comparative analysis of deep learning architectures. The dataset utilized covers a wide range of issues, including social, political, economic, religious, and racial topics, demonstrating its comprehensive nature. Visualizations using WordCloud and uniform manifold approximation and projection (UMAP) reveal distinct ideological patterns, validating the dataset’s quality for training models. The findings underscore the importance of utilizing advanced bidirectional architectures for nuanced tasks, such as ideology classification, where contextual understanding is crucial. These insights open avenues for future research, such as the application of Bi-GRU in analyzing multilingual political ideologies or real-time sentiment tracking during election campaigns.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem ujian online berbasis web di LPIA Jatimurni guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas proses evaluasi pembelajaran. Selama ini, sistem ujian masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga menimbulkan kendala seperti keterlambatan pengolahan nilai, pemborosan kertas, serta potensi kesalahan administrasi. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan perangkat lunak Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan framework Laravel dan database MySQL. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mengelola penyusunan soal, pelaksanaan ujian, hingga pengolahan hasil secara lebih cepat, akurat, dan terintegrasi. Pengujian sistem menggunakan Black Box Testing memperlihatkan bahwa aplikasi berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dan meningkatkan kepuasan baik dari sisi pengajar maupun siswa. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menyediakan solusi teknologi yang relevan bagi lembaga pendidikan nonformal serta dapat menjadi rujukan dalam pengembangan sistem ujian online pada konteks serupa.

Abstract

Accurate rainfall prediction plays a vital role in reducing disaster risks and supporting public preparedness, particularly in Jakarta where dense population and frequent floods cause serious economic and social impacts. In this study, weather data from the Kemayoran Meteorological Station covering 2004–2023 were analyzed to build rainfall prediction models using machine learning. Three classification algorithms were compared: Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest, selected to represent linear, non-linear, and ensemble approaches. Feature selection was applied using Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) to identify the most relevant predictors. The models were evaluated using 5-fold cross-validation with metrics including Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1 Score, ROC AUC, and Cohen’s Kappa. The results indicate that Random Forest achieved the best overall performance with Accuracy of 0.7622, Precision around 0.70, Recall up to 0.63, F1 Score about 0.65, ROC AUC ranging from 0.8044 to 0.8171, and Cohen’s Kappa near 0.48. Logistic Regression also performed competitively with Accuracy of 0.7648, ROC AUC of 0.829, and Kappa of 0.49, while Decision Tree showed lower results with Accuracy of 0.6890 and ROC AUC of 0.6636. The RFE process successfully reduced 18 meteorological attributes to 5 influential features, mainly temperature and relative humidity, which were dominant in distinguishing rainfall events. These findings demonstrate that both Random Forest and Logistic Regression outperform Decision Tree, and Random Forest with RFE can be recommended as the most robust model for rainfall prediction in Jakarta.

Abstract

Pringgasela is one of the villages in East Lombok regency that has strength in the development of MSMEs (micro, small and Medium Enterprises). One of the mainstay business sectors in Pringgasela Village is weaving, various activities have been carried out to identify and provide solutions to existing problems, activities begin with observations and interviews with local people, especially weaving cloth craftsmen and MSME actors. The identification results show that although Pringgasela village has great potential in MSMEs, especially in the production of woven fabrics, there are significant constraints in market access, caused by the lack of utilization of digital media. In response to these problems, the solution implemented is to organize socialization and training focused on improving the use of digital media as a marketing method. It is expected that the program can increase the income and welfare of the community, especially MSME actors. This Program shows that the use of digital technology can be an effective solution in overcoming economic challenges in the village, as well as strengthening existing local potential.

Abstract

The influence of the development of computer science has touched various fields, for example in the fields of medicine, military and others. Given the rapid development of increasingly advanced technology, especially in the field of computers, many people use computers as a tool. Also included in the medical field, computers have been included in it as a tool to do a job or identify a certain disease that facilitates human work. To determine the type of disease and how to overcome it and use the Waterfall method for system development. This expert system will also use the concept of Certainty Factor. This application is made using the PHP programming language and MySQL database as a place to store the data needed in making the application. Adobe Dreamweaver for Web design. This research produces a web-based stroke diagnosis expert system application so that it can help users to obtain the desired information. The preparation of this expert system is in the form of users and admins. Through this system, the user can identify the disease based on the symptoms that attack it. The system also has the ability to add, update, and delete features and symptoms along with the results of consultations conducted by the admin

Abstract

The improvement in the quality and quality of service is also very large driven by the availability of functional human resources (HR) in their respective work positions or on their respective job lists. Bireuen Regency. Considering that recently there have been very rapid growth of several other health service institutions/agencies in Bireuen District, so the quality of human resources must be given great attention. Selection of new employees at the Bireuen Medical Center (BMC) hospital is carried out manually by examining administrative files and giving an assessment weight to each prospective employee who applies for a job position provided by the BMC Hospital. The decision support system for hiring new employees at the Bireuen Medical Center (BMC) Hospital in Bireuen Regency is a system that can provide decisions based on ranking results that have been calculated using the promethee method, where in a system designed by users who have the authority to make decisions, they can input data. -data on assessment criteria and parameters, then determines the assessment parameters for each alternative applicant with the weights that have been applied so that the system then provides a ranking of all alternatives to assist the user in making decisions on alternatives that will be accepted as employees at the Bireuen Medical Center hospital (BMC)

Abstract

Autism is a disease caused by disorders of the brain. There are many types of child development disorders that parents are not aware of. One of the child development disorders is autism. The variables supporting the diagnosis of the disease are used in the formation of fuzzy sets. The fuzzy set will produce a definite decision. The purpose of this thesis research is to build an expert system that is capable of making disease diagnosis decisions in accordance with the knowledge of experts or doctors. Meanwhile, expert system development tools use the PHP and MySQL programming languages. The designed application has been tested involving diagnostic medical records from doctors or specialists in autism in children, the results of the decisions produced by the application are the same as the doctor's diagnoses listed in the medical record. In general, this web-based Expert System application can be used as a tool or companion in diagnosing autism in humans without having to directly consult a doctor face to face

Abstract

In today's competitive business landscape, a deep understanding of customer behavior and preferences is crucial for strategic success. Customer segmentation emerges as a vital approach to identify distinct customer subgroups, enabling personalized and efficient marketing strategies. However, many companies still struggle to achieve this understanding due to suboptimal data utilization and inaccurate manual grouping methods. To address these challenges, this research proposes and implements a data mining approach using the K-Means Clustering algorithm for automated and measurable customer segmentation. Leveraging the "Customer Personality Analysis" dataset from Kaggle, this study aims to uncover hidden patterns in customer demographics (age, income, marital status, number of children) and purchasing behavior (number and frequency of transactions). A comprehensive data pre-processing pipeline, including handling missing values, feature engineering, irrelevant column removal, categorical transformation, and numerical scaling, ensures data quality and readiness. Using the Elbow Method, four optimal clusters were identified: "Balanced Spenders with Teenagers" (Cluster 0), "Budget-Conscious Families" (Cluster 1), "High-Value Engaged Buyers" (Cluster 2), and "Active Mature Buyers" (Cluster 3). Visualization using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) further confirms significant characteristic differences between these segments. Cluster 2, being the most valuable and responsive segment, requires premium marketing strategies, while Cluster 1, the largest segment, demands a value-oriented approach. The results of this segmentation provide deep strategic insights, enabling companies to allocate marketing resources more efficiently, craft more relevant messages, and ultimately enhance customer satisfaction and business profitability. These findings demonstrate the potential of unsupervised learning in enhancing data-driven customer profiling systems in marketing and business informatics.

Abstract

Abstrak Tingginya temperatur permukaan jalan, curah hujan dan beban lalu lintas merupakan beberapa penyebab kerusakan lapisan aspal. Pada jalan di daerah Aceh banyak dijumpai kotoran sapi berserakan di jalan. Kotoran sapi mengandung sangat banyak unsur hara dan kadar air yang cukup tinggi dan dapat diduga merupakan faktor penyebab kerusakan perkerasan jalan. Salah satu cara dalam mengatasi kerusakan perkerasan jalan adalah dengan memodifikasi aspal menggunakan bahan tambah yaitu polimer. Polimer yang digunakan berupa limbah plastik Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) sebagai pensubstitusi aspal. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik marshall campuran Laston (AC-WC) dengan tambahan irisan limbah plastik LDPE 2%, 4%, dan 6% pada aspal pen. 60/70 terhadap berat aspal, serta mengetahui pengaruh rendaman kotoran dan urine sapi dengan variasi waktu 30 menit, 24 jam, dan 48 jam terhadap stabilitas aspal modifikasi LDPE. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai stabilitas dengan rendaman kotoran sapi yaitu 1181,93 kg, stabilitas terbaik untuk LDPE pada persentase 6% dengan cara basah 2213,72. Nilai parameter untuk tanpa dan dengan substitusi LDPE yang dihasilkan berupa stabilitas, flow, MQ, density, VIM, VMA, dan VFA masih memenuhi persyaratan spesifikasi Bina Marga tahun 2014. Kata kunci: Laston Lapis Aus, Limbah Plastik LDPE, Rendaman Kotoran Sapi.  Abstract High road surface temperatures, rainfall, and traffic loads are some of the causes of asphalt layer damage. On roads in the Aceh, you can find cow dung scattered on the road. Cow dung contains a lot of nutrients and a fairly high water content and can be suspected as a factor causing road pavement damage. One way to overcome the damage to the pavement is to modify the asphalt using added materials, namely polymers. The polymer used is Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) plastic waste as a substitute for asphalt. The main purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the marshall mixture of Laston (AC-WC) with the addition of 2%, 4%, and 6% LDPE plastic waste slices on the asphalt pen. 60/70 on the weight of asphalt, as well as knowing the effect of soaking cow dung and urine with variations in time of 30 minutes, 24 hours, and 48 hours on the stability of LDPE modified asphalt. From the results of the study, it was found that the stability value with cow dung bath was 1181.93 kg, the best stability for LDPE was at a percentage of 6% by wet method 2213.72. Parameter values for without and with substitution of LDPE produced in the form of stability, flow, MQ, density, VIM, VMA, and VFA still meet the requirements of the 2014 Highways specification. Keywords: Laston Lapis Aus, LDPE Plastic Waste, Cow Manure Soak.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat merancang media pembelajaran berhitung untuk pendidikan dasar dengan menggunakan Augmented Reality sehingga pembelajaran dapat di akses dengan media komputer, laptop atau smartphone. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pengamatan atau observasi terhadap informasi yang akan dibutuhkan dalam pembuatan aplikasi. analisis kebutuhan sistem lalu dilakukan perancangan system dengan menggunakan perancangan sistem aplikasi  dengan Unified Modeling Language (UML).   Hasil dari sistem yang telah dibangun dan dapat membantu pengajar dan peserta didik dalam proses belajar dan mengajar pengenalan angka dan berhitung. Aplikasi yang telah di buat hanya dapat dijalankan dengan marker yang telah ditentukan. Teknik AR dengan metode marker based tracking membutuhkan gambar penanda yang terdeteksi oleh sistem, sehingga dapat menampilkan objek 3D.
