Abstract

This study aims to analyze work measurement using the time study method to determine cycle time, normal time, and standard time on the Tube Underfloor production line at PT. UVW Indonesia. The research was conducted on the Tube Assembling Line 11, consisting of four workstations: Brazing, Bending, Assembling, and Quality Inspection. Data were collected using a stopwatch method with 30 measurements per station. The data were tested for uniformity and adequacy, followed by the calculation of normal time using the Westinghouse adjustment method and a 12% allowance factor. The results showed that the highest standard time occurred during the assembling process (74.1 seconds), and the lowest during quality inspection (40.0 seconds). The standard output was determined to be 49 units per hour. These findings indicate that a systematic work measurement method can help the company set realistic work standards and enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang karakteriasasi nRF2L01+ dengan kondisi line of sight dan non-line of sight untuk sistem monitoring bencana banjir. Penelitian dilakukan untuk melihat kemampuan transceiver nRF24L01+ dalam menstranmisikan data untuk sistem monitoring bencana banjir. Karakterisasi nRF24L01+ dilakukan di Pantai Air Manis, Jalan Bypass untuk kondisi line of sight, Jalan di Universitas Andalas, Perlintasan kereta api Alai Padang untuk kondisi non-line of sight. Hasil karakterisasi transceiver nRF24L01+ kondisi line of sight di Pantai Air manis sejauh 789,6 m dan 0,09 μtesla, di Jalan Bypass 268 m dan 1,74 μtesla. Kondisi non-line of sight di jalan di Universitas Andalas 318, 7 m dan 0,03 μtesla.Perlintasan kereta api Alai 127,94 dan 6,47 μtesla. Kondisi line of sight, non-line of sight dan noise medan elektromagnetik sangat mempengaruhi jarak transmisi data. Sistem transmisi menggunakan transceiver nRF24L01+ dapat digunakan pada sistem monitoring bencana banjir berdasarkan kekeruhan air sungai.

Abstract

Rats become pests that cause losses. PT. X has a kitchen to serve lunch to all employees and in the kitchen there are rats with a trap success rate of 4% and losses are experienced such as some food stocks in the kitchen being bitten by rats so that the food stocks cannot be reused. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the modified Sherman trap model of snap trap and single live trap on the number of rats trapped in the PT.X kitchen. This type of research is an experimental research with a post-test only research design. The population of all rats in the kitchen area of PT.X. The treatment given was 2 treatments, namely single live trap treatment and Sherman snap trap treatment. The data collection technique counted the number of rats trapped, the number of traps set is three Sherman snap traps and three single live traps set for 5 days with shrimp paste bait. The number of rats caught in the Sherman snap trap was 4 with a catch rate of 6%, in the single live trap there were no rats caught. The results of the study after analysis using the Mann-Whitney test showed that the P-value was 0.014 < α (0.05), meaning that there was a significant difference between the two groups of data. The implication of this research is that the kitchen manager of PT. X can use a Sherman snap trap for trapping activities in the kitchen. The trapping activities are carried out with suggestions to vary the layout of the trap placement, replacement of bait that is more varied according to the type of food preferred by the rats, namely tubers such as cassava, sweet potatoes or can use bait of corn and grilled coconut.

Abstract

The global market developments is very fast that make a business need to adapt to keep competing. Business process was a vital component on the business if the business want to keep competing and developing. Business process must be keep developing with the proper and suitable methods. This study aims to analyze process improvement on PT. Sambada with Model-Based and Integrated Process Improvement method (MIPI). MIPI methods have 7 step, there are understand the business needs, understand the process, model and analyze process, redesign process, implement new process, asses new process, and review new process. The method was done until the fourth step, which is the redesign process step. On the first step, scanning was performed on the current condition of the company. The current condition of the company is depicted by the vision and mission of the company, the organization structure, market share, and complaints or mistakes data from consumers. On the second step, all current business process of the company is modeled. On the third step, all process were validated with all of the person in charge with the process. After that, the process is analyzed by value added analysis tool. Last, prosess improvement team was assembled to take charge with redesigned the new process which already improved. Pareto and Fishbone diagram were used to analyze and determined the focus of the problem being solved. The result of the study gives a new process that already fixed by applying the result from the analysis in accordance to MIPI method. Keywords: business process, fishbone, improvement, pareto, MIPI

Abstract

Yellow stem borer (YSB) of rice, Scirpophaga incertulas Walker, causes significant damage to rice production in Indonesia. YSB management largely depends on insecticide applications and alternative management practices are very few and impractical. Pheromone-mediated mating disruption (MD) is a new way to manage YSB while reducing dependence on conventional insecticides. Pheronâ„¢ RSB is an low-density polyethylene (LDPE) MD dispenser, containing 1.25 g of a four-way blended insect sex pheromone components - Z11-Hexadecenal, Z9-Hexadecenal, Z13-Octadecenal, Z9-Octadecenal in a ratio of 75, 8.6, 9.4, and 7 respectively. The objective is to evaluate MD by Pheronâ„¢ RSB as a tool for season-long management of YSB. Dispensers were applied at a rate of 20 dispensers/ha in a minimum area of 4 ha. We conducted these trials at 74 locations, non-replicated, across Java, in the wet and dry seasons of 2020–2021 where YSB are endemic and problematic. Efficacy of MD in pheromone foundational practice (PFP) was compared to conventional grower practice (CGP). Trap reduction, a measure of MD was significantly higher (>70%) in PFP as compared to CGP. A major benefit of MD is reduction in damage. Significantly lower damage to rice tillers (40–46%) was seen in PFP compared to CGP. Lower damage in PFP likely protected yield by 0.43 to 0.76 ton/ha compared to CGP. Compared to PFP, CGP required 40–56% higher insecticide applications to manage YSB.  Pheronâ„¢ RSB provided season-long MD and proved to be a powerful tool for integrated management of YSB.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi pasien BPJS dalam memilih RSUD Arifin Achmad sebagai tempat berobat dan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi pasien BPJS dalam memilih RSUD Arifin Achmad sebagai tempat berobat. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Arifin Achmad Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan Accidental Sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel, sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 65 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini motivasi pasien BPJS dalam memilih RSUD Arifin Achmad sebagai tempat berobat terdapat mayoritas pasien BPJS menunjukan motivasi yang tinggi dalam memilih RSUD Arifin Achmad sebagai tempat berobat. Yang berarti pasien BPJS ini memiliki penilaian baik terhadap RSUD Arifin Achmad dilihat dari motif fungsional, motif estetika-emosional, motif sosial, motif situasional, dan motif keingintahuan untuk mengetahui seberapa tinggi motivasi pasien BPJS tersebut, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi yang dilihat dari pengetahuan pasien dalam melakukan pendaftaran untuk melakukan pengobatan, berkas atau dokumen yang harus disiapkan, serta bagian pengaduan yang disediakan oleh pihak RSUD Arifin Achmad, dan pengalaman pasien BPJS dalam menerima pelayanan baik medis maupun non medis saat melakukan pengobatan di RSUD Arifin Achmad

Abstract

Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji distorsi kebijakan fiskal Indonesia yang semakin bergeser ke arah dominasi penerimaan pajak, namun tidak diimbangi oleh penguatan dukungan yang memadai bagi UMKM sebagai pilar utama perekonomian nasional. Dalam perspektif hukum bisnis, kondisi ini menciptakan ketidakseimbangan struktural antara beban kepatuhan pajak dan fasilitas pengembangan usaha, sehingga berdampak pada terhambatnya pertumbuhan ekonomi riil, melemahnya struktur daya saing, serta meningkatnya risiko stagnasi usaha kecil. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, pendekatan konsep, dan pendekatan kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan fiskal Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir menunjukkan gejala over-tax orientation yang tidak sejalan dengan prinsip ease of doing business dan kepastian hukum dalam dunia usaha. Dominasi pajak dalam struktur fiskal tanpa penguatan perlindungan, pembiayaan, dan insentif bagi UMKM menyebabkan distorsi iklim usaha secara makro. Hasil jurnal ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembenahan kerangka hukum fiskal harus dilakukan dengan menyeimbangkan regulasi perpajakan dan fasilitas penguatan UMKM melalui rekonstruksi kebijakan, harmonisasi regulasi, serta reposisi pajak sebagai instrumen pembangunan, bukan sekadar alat penerimaan.

Abstract

The advancement of digital media has driven social media and influencer figures into key information providers that are increasingly relied on by the public, especially the youth generation.  This study aims to analyze how Gerald Vincent’s social media content (@GeraldVincentt), fulfills the informational needs of his followers and contributes to digital literacy. This study used a quantitative approach through survey of 100 active followers of Gerald Vincent on Instagram and TikTok platforms, employing correlation analysis and simple linear regression. The results indicate a moderate to strong positive correlation between audience engagement with social media content and information fulfillment (r = 0.609). Regression analysis confirms that Gerald Vincent’s content significantly enhances knowledge acquisition among his followers (43.1%). This study concludes that a social media influencer has the potential to play a role as a knowledge facilitator, but still requires concern regarding  the credibility aspect and accuracy of information in knowledge dissemination in digital media.

Abstract

Penelitian e-sport remaja umumnya membahas gaming disorder, kesehatan, atau performa secara terpisah; kajian yang menguji perkembangan sosial dan prestasi akademik secara simultan pada komunitas lokal Indonesia masih terbatas. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan partisipasi e-sport dengan kedua outcome pada remaja Nagari Kinari, Kabupaten Solok. Desain kuantitatif deskriptif-korelasional potong lintang melibatkan 33 pemain e-sport remaja yang dipilih secara purposif. Data kuesioner Likert dan dokumentasi akademik pendukung dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif, korelasi Pearson, regresi linear sederhana, dan uji asumsi dengan SPSS. Partisipasi e-sport berhubungan positif dengan skor perkembangan sosial (r = 0,472; 95% CI [0,154, 0,702]; p = 0,006); model regresi signifikan dengan efek sedang (B = 3,036; 95% CI [1,026, 5,046]; R² = 0,234; f² = 0,305; p = 0,004). Asosiasi dengan prestasi akademik tidak signifikan dan berefek kecil (B = 1,286; 95% CI [-1,177, 3,749]; R² = 0,035; f² = 0,036; p = 0,295). Temuan menunjukkan pola domain-spesifik: keterlibatan e-sport lebih erat terkait pengalaman sosial daripada capaian akademik. Karena desain potong lintang dan sampel kecil, hasil tidak mendukung inferensi kausal. Pendampingan keluarga dan sekolah perlu menekankan manajemen waktu, etika komunikasi, tidur, dan aktivitas fisik. Adolescent e-sports research commonly examines gaming disorder, health, or player performance separately; studies simultaneously assessing social development and academic achievement in local Indonesian communities remain limited. This study analyzed the associations of e-sports participation with both outcomes among adolescents in Nagari Kinari, Solok Regency. A quantitative cross-sectional descriptive-correlational design included 33 adolescent e-sports players recruited purposively. Likert-scale questionnaire data and supporting academic documentation were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, simple linear regression, and assumption tests in SPSS. E-sports participation was positively associated with social development scores (r = 0.472; 95% CI [0.154, 0.702]; p = 0.006); the regression model was significant with a medium effect (B = 3.036; 95% CI [1.026, 5.046]; R² = 0.234; f² = 0.305; p = 0.004). The association with academic achievement was nonsignificant and small (B = 1.286; 95% CI [-1.177, 3.749]; R² = 0.035; f² = 0.036; p = 0.295). The domain-specific pattern suggests that involvement was more closely related to social experiences than academic outcomes. Because of the cross-sectional design and small sample, the results do not support causal inference. Family and school guidance should emphasize time management, communication ethics, sleep, and physical activity.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important aspects of human life and receives significant attention in the Qur’an. Various verses of the Qur’an contain educational concepts related to the advancement of knowledge, the cultivation of moral character, the strengthening of faith, and the development of human potential. To comprehensively understand these educational concepts, an appropriate interpretive approach is necessary. This study aims to analyze the application of the thematic approach (tafsir maudhu’i) and hermeneutics in examining educational verses from the Qur’anic perspective, as well as to identify the strengths and limitations of these two approaches. This study employs a qualitative method using library research. Data were obtained from the Qur’an, tafsir texts, books, scientific journals, and various relevant literature, and were then analyzed using content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the thematic approach is capable of compiling and integrating educational verses scattered across various surahs, thereby yielding a comprehensive understanding of the objectives, principles, and values of Islamic education. The hermeneutical approach helps to understand educational verses contextually by taking into account historical, social, and cultural aspects, as well as the needs of contemporary society. Both approaches have strengths in producing comprehensive and relevant interpretations, although they also have some limitations, such as the potential for subjectivity in interpretation and the possibility of verses being detached from their broader context. Therefore, the integration of thematic and hermeneutical approaches can serve as an effective alternative for understanding the concept of Qur’anic education in a deep, contextual, and practical manner for the development of Islamic education in the modern era.
