Abstract

The term of office of the President in a presidential system is a fixed term of five years and cannot be dropped during his term of office. The legal politics of the presidential impeachment process prior to the amendment of the 1945 Constitution did not have a clear mechanism to impeach the president. The impeachment of the president is determined by the procedures and political power in the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR). This is a problem in the presidential system, because there is no legal process for impeaching the president. After the amendment to the 1945 Constitution, the concept of impeachment of the president was based on the idea of a presidential system, where the president cannot be dismissed only through a political process, but there must be a legal process first. Therefore, this article will explain how the dynamics of legal politics in the process of regulating the impeachment of the president in Indonesia in the 1945 Constitution. The research method used is normative juridical. From the analysis that the author did, it was found that the political aspirations of the impeachment arrangement of the president want the dismissal of the president no longer based on political interests, but must go through legal reasons and through the legal process, as a form of embodiment of Indonesia as a legal state with a presidential government system.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of tawakkal in the Qur'an and Hadith and its implications for contemporary sharia business practices. Tawakkal is understood as a combination of maximum effort and submission of results to Allah. Using the library research method, this study analyzes classical interpretations and sharia business literature to develop an integrative theoretical framework. The results show that tawakkal is not only spiritually valuable, but can also strengthen strategy, ethics, and risk management in sharia business. The case studies of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) and 212 Mart show how the value of tawakkal can be internalized in organizational culture and operational decision making. This study recommends that the value of tawakkal be made an important part of entrepreneurship training and sharia business governance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method in teaching English as a foreign language at SMA Negeri 9 Wajo. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through observation and semi-structured interviews with English teachers who implemented PjBL. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL includes six main stages according to Delisle's model, namely: connecting the problem, developing the structure, visiting and reviewing the problem, producing the product, and conducting evaluation. Despite challenges such as limited time and facilities, teachers managed to actively engage students through contextualized and collaborative projects. This study concludes that PjBL is a relevant and effective approach in improving students' English language engagement and skills in the EFL classroom.

Abstract

Mangrove plants have the capacity to protect coastlines and inland areas from natural disasters such as hurricanes, cyclones, and tsunamis. Mangroves are one of the most productive marine ecosystems on earth, providing unique habitat for many species, as well as important goods and services for humans. Mangroves are also a spawning ground and nursery ground for various types of marine biota. The mangrove area in the Aceh Tamiang area is currently in trouble because of the many activities such as changing the function of land as ponds, housing, infrastructure development and making charcoal kitchens, which can change the function of the mangroves. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out research with the aim of mapping the distribution of mangrove ecosystems using multi-temporal satellite imagery, classifying mangroves based on their density classes and finding out the type of mangrove that is dominant in the mangrove density. This research uses the Purposive Random Sampling method as a technique for taking several scientific considerations. This research also uses the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) method by categorizing 3 classes in density in the Seruway, Bendahara, Banda Mulia and Manyak Payed Subdistricts in five different periods, namely 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017 and 2022. The results obtained the highest NDVI value was in 2002 at 0.98 with an area of 2152.61 ha (16.52%) and the lowest value was in 2007 at -0.23 with an area of 474.15 ha (4.47%). The total type of mangrove found in Aceh Tamiang District is 27 types. Seruway Subdistrict found the most types of mangroves, around 23 types, and in Banda Mulia Subdistrict, the fewest types of mangroves were found, around 12 types. Keywords:Mangrove ecosystemNDVI methodMangrove densityCoastal LULCMangrove type

Abstract

This quantitative research presents the classification of marine cadastres in the marine conservation area of Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park. The marine cadastre classes were analyzed for their alignment with the marine management classes/blocks in the Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park using an alignment logical matrix and overlay analysis. The field inventory results identified 7 marine cadastre classes in the marine conservation area of Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park. The alignment classification of marine cadastre classes with the marine management classes/blocks in Pulau Weh Nature Tourism Park indicates that the aligned class covers an area of 476.26 hectares (9.07% of 5,247 hectares), the non-aligned class covers 441.08 hectares (8.41% of 5,247 hectares), and the transition class covers 4,329.75 hectares (82.52% of 5,247 hectares). Keywords:Marine CadastreCompatibilityAlignment logical matrixOverlay analysisNature Tourism Park

Abstract

This research aims to analyze property ownership and social responsibility. Through a thematic exegetical approach (tafsir maudhui), this research examines the status of wealth in the Qur'an, the concept of wealth ownership in the Qur'an, and the implementation of property rights as a form of social responsibility. The research findings indicate that 'Mal' (wealth) is mentioned in the Qur'an, with its various derivations, 87 times.  Wealth (al-Mal) itself is defined as anything that possesses legal and concrete (a'in) value, is generally desired by human nature, can be owned, stored, and utilized.  Islam views wealth as something highly important in human life, to the extent that Sharia designates it as one of the five essential matters that must be fulfilled, protected, and considered to realize human well-being in this world and the hereafter; property ownership, based on the Qur'anic concept, manifests as wealth for economic activity, as an indicator of collective welfare, and includes prohibitions against hoarding and consuming wealth unjustly.  A Muslim who possesses wealth is commanded to help others as a form of social responsibility. Islamic teachings command its adherents to disburse a portion of their wealth in the form of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah. This research recommends that everyone distribute a portion of their wealth according to the guidance of the Qur'an. Zakat, infaq, and sadaqah, disbursed as a form of social responsibility, reflect humanity's chosen role in managing the wealth entrusted by Allah SWT.
