Abstract

The circulation of global food, especially fast food like sausages, nuggets, fried chicken such as KFC, and other instant food, has been circulating into rural areas. Many estimated younger generation's preferences would change under these conditions. Because of that, we were conducted research in the Tinambung, Polewali Mandar District, West Sulawesi Province, from May to August 2021 to understand the young preferences for food. The research found that the Millennial, Z, and Alpha generations of Mandarese still have a good preference for their local gastronomy. The types of the Mandarese food on this study are Baupiapi, Jepa, Bubur Tarreang, Loka Anjoroi, and Binte. Those are made from local raw materials such as cassava, banana, coconut, fish, millet, and corn. These agricultural and local raw materials can be the basis for developing more diverse food for the daily consumption of the youth. The young generation's preferences are essential because their population is enormous. It means their food preference will affect the food system. It can also be a factor in determining a future food diversification policy and self-sufficiency of the Mandarese. Currently, the highest preference of the young generation in Polewali Mandar still tends to like and choose Mandar gastronomy compared with global foods. It shows that local foods are still in line with the youth's preferences but need to develop as an essential part of their daily consumption. Their preferences for local gastronomy are still facing challenges; it will be more diverse or even the other way around because of the hegemony of the global food trend.

Abstract

Sharia banks and UMKM have been known as one of the businesses that are an important sector in the Indonesian economy. This is reflected in its resilience in facing economic turmoil in the monetary crisis that Indonesia experienced in 1998.. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the synergy of Sharia Banks and UMKM in improving the country's economy through channeled financing. This research is a type of exploratory qualitative research. Meanwhile, conclusions are drawn inductively, where data and facts obtained from the field become the reference source. Secondary data is the main data in research collected through documentation from annual financial reports officially published by the Financial Services Authority. The results of this research show that Islamic banks play a role in encouraging UMKM to improve community welfare. This can be seen from statistical data which shows that in four consecutive years, Islamic banks have distributed funds to UMKM in the form of financing amounting to 20-23% of the total financing distributed. Of these funds, 49-62% is intended for working capital needs, while the rest is designed for investment needs to support UMKM productivity in the range of 38-51%.

Abstract

It was experiment research aiming at finding out the effectiveness of Natural method with Hijaiyah game in increasing student writing ability at the fourth grade of Islamic Integrated Elementary School of An-Najiyah. The formulation of the problem in this research was "was Natural method with Hijaiyah game to increase student writing ability at the fourth grade of Islamic Integrated Elementary School of An-Najiyah Pekanbaru?". All the fourth-grade students at Islamic Integrated Elementary School of An-Najiyah Pekanbaru were the population of this research, and the samples were the fourth-grade students of class A as the experiment group and the students of class B as the control group. Observation, test, and documentation were the instruments of collecting data. Based on data analysis, it could be concluded that Natural method with Hijaiyah game was effective in increasing student writing ability at the fourth grade of Islamic Integrated Elementary School of An-Najiyah Pekanbaru because the result of student dimensional test showed that the score of fobserved was 1.475 at t tailed 38, and the score 0.232 was higher than 5% significant level (0.232>0.05). Besides, the experiment group was used, and mean score of Natural method was 84.50. So, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, if Natural method was implemented effectively to student writing ability.

Abstract

Reading books by parents to children in the family is essential to manage properly. This study aimed to find and explain the management of parents' book reading curriculum in early childhood in family life. This study uses qualitative field research, which focuses on examining texts in references and research articles that discuss the introduction of literacy and reading activities in the family. The data collection technique used is documentation in the form of data sources from various reference sources, both journal articles, research results, and reference books. Data analysis techniques are carried out by reviewing data based on the scientific point of view, analyzing and criticizing the data studied comprehensively, and presenting the results in its findings. The results of his research are that the management of the curriculum for reading books for parents to children is carried out through (1) management in building family literacy goals which are carried out by getting used to reading books; (2) managing the provision of reading materials in the family which is carried out by organizing and managing a place for books in a strategic family room and managing reading interesting books, according to interests, and by the stages of child development; (3) management of routine reading activities so that it becomes a habit in the family; (4) award-based assessment management of book reading activities that have been carried out.

Abstract

As a characteristic of Islam, the Arabic language curriculum has been taught in Islamic-based early childhood education units. This research is important because Arabic has become an international language used as a tool of international communication. Hence, skills and abilities in speaking Arabic properly are competencies that students at all levels of education must possess. This research aims to find, identify, and explain the objectives of learning Arabic in Islamic-based early childhood education units. The research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive-and textual model, namely research using a database of textual documents that were studied and presented descriptively from a scientific point of view of learning objectives, early childhood, and early childhood education units. The research results in areFirst, The instrumental objective of Arabic is taught so that early childhood can use Arabic to understand, get used to, and practice the teachings, worship, and prayers found in the Al-Qur'an and Al-Hadith. Second, for Integrative-communicative purposes, Arabic is taught so that children can have communication skills in Arabic. Third, pedagogical goals include Arabic in learning activities to master Arabic knowledge, skills, and values ​​in early childhood.

Abstract

Before rice became widely known in its current form, sago was the staple food of Indonesian people. Sago is eaten in the form of papeda, a type of porridge, or other preparations. Sago is unique as a source of carbohydrates because it is produced in wetlands, a natural habitat for straw. This condition has benefits for the environment but is less economical and more difficult to distribute. Sago is popular among many people in Kitakagiri, and many foods are made from it. Dhadak is a typical food from the Masamba area in Kitakagiri district. Not many people know about this food. However, not many people know about Dhadak, a food made from sago and coconut. Dhadak is a typical Masamba regional dish and is one of the traditional dishes. This product is rarely available on the market and almost non-existent. Apart from being used as food and a complementary ingredient, sago has been proven to provide significant benefits to the ecological chain. Like the sago area, this area is a breeding ground for various types of living creatures, including wild boars, snakes, beetles and birds. Apart from that, from a health perspective, sago is one of the best plants that is able to convert the sun's photosynthetic energy through its leaves and channel it to nature. This means that being around trees can help people avoid lung disease and asthma.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil pengamatan peneliti di lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan kinestetik beberapa anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Dharma Wanita Simpang Sungai Duren masih belum berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam fantasi terhadap kecerdasan kinestetik anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain yang dipakai adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan Sampling Purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa t hitung > t tabel yaitu 12.275 > 2.160 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 hal ini berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan senam fantasi terhadap kecerdasan kinestetik anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Dharma Wanita Simpang Sungai Duren. Kata Kunci: Senam Fantasi, Kecerdasan Kinestetik

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru melatih pembiasaan dalam toilet training pada anak kelompok B5 di TK Islam Al-Falah Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru selaku wali kelas yang mengajar di kelompok B5 serta kepala sekolah di TK Islam Al-Falah Kota Jambi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui 3 cara, yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan guru melatih pembiasaan dalam toilet training pada anak kelompok B5 di TK Islam Al-Falah Kota Jambi dilakukan melalui 2 teknik, yaitu teknik lisan dan teknik modelling. Teknik lisan berupa memberikan pemahaman anak tentang makna dan tata cara toilet training, pemahaman anak dan orang tua tentang pentingnya penggunaan toilet dibandingkan pampers, serta pemahaman anak tentang perasaan ingin buang air. Sedangkan teknik modelling berupa berdo’a sebelum dan setelah menggunakan toilet, menunjukkan cara memakai toilet, mengajarkan cara melepas pasang celana atau rok serta kancing dan tali pinggangnya, menunjukkan cara mencuci tangan dengan baik dan benar, menunjukkan cara menyiram toilet, memberikan bantuan dan dukungan kepada anak yang masih belum bisa toilet training sendiri, serta memberikan pujian terhadap anak yang sudah dapat melakukan toilet training sendiri. Kata Kunci: Pembiasaan, Toilet Training

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan hasil pengamatan peneliti di lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa, kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Jambi beberapa anak masih belum berkembang dalam mengungkapkan bahasa. Hal ini terlihat pada saat proses pembelajaran ketika guru menanya tentang pembelajaran sebagian anak masih ada yang belum mau untuk mengungkapkan apa yang dirasakannya. Beberapa anak belum mampu untuk berkomunikasi secara lisan dengan menggunakan perbendaharaan kata, Anak belum mampu untuk berkomunikasi dengan kalimat yang sederhana dan mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media komik digital terhadap kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Desain yang dipakai adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini di TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Jambi 69 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan Sampling Purposive, 16 anak. Instrumen yang digunakan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan selama satu bulan tentang penggunan media komik digital terhadap kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun, memperoleh hasil rata-rata pretest kemampuan bahasa anak sebesar 36,69 dan setellah diberi perlakuan penggunaan media komik digital rata-rata posttest sebesar 46.19. Terdapat peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun sebesar 9,5. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa t hitung > t tabel yaitu (7.867) > (2,145) taraf signifikansi = 0,05. Data tersebut menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media komik digital terhadap kemampuan bahasa anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of malnutrition that is related to inadequate nutritional needs in the past, so it is a chronic nutritional problem. The habit of not measuring the height or body length of toddlers in the community makes it difficult to realize the incidence of stunting, so it becomes one of the focuses of the target for improving nutrition in the world until 2025. This Community Service activity aims to increase knowledge about stunting in an effort to prevent and reduce stunting, lifestyle health, nutrition for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and feeding babies and children. Community Service activities are carried out using outreach methods regarding stunting prevention through nutritional health education and clean and healthy lifestyles. The result of Community Service is an increase in community knowledge and commitment to trying to implement a clean and healthy lifestyle as well as providing food for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, babies and toddlers according to recommendations.
