Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para pelatih olahraga dalam merancang program periodisasi latihan berbasis digital dengan memanfaatkan Microsoft Excel. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih banyaknya pelatih yang menyusun program latihan secara manual, khususnya pelatih olahraga di Kabupaten Garut. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, penyuluhan mengenai teori latihan dan kondisi fisik, pelatihan penyusunan periodisasi latihan dengan Excel, serta evaluasi melalui pretest, posttest, dan angket kepuasan. Peserta kegiatan ini berjumlah 25 orang yang seluruhnya merupakan pelatih olahraga di Kabupaten Garut. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan peserta. Rata-rata skor pretest adalah 22,5 dengan standar deviasi 3,74, sedangkan rata-rata skor posttest meningkat menjadi 31,4 dengan standar deviasi 2,24. Peningkatan sebesar 39,6% ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis digital efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi peserta. Selain itu, penurunan standar deviasi menunjukkan hasil pembelajaran yang lebih merata. Kesimpulannya, digitalisasi periodisasi latihan menggunakan Microsoft Excel terbukti menjadi solusi inovatif dan efisien dalam membantu pelatih dan mahasiswa merancang program latihan modern secara sistematis, akurat, dan mudah diadaptasi sesuai kebutuhan.

Abstract

Organic lettuce is widely regarded as a healthier alternative because it is free of chemical contaminants. Chicken manure is commonly used as an organic fertilizer because of its high nutrient content, which is readily available to plants. However, applying manure poses a risk of pathogenic bacterial contamination. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of different chicken manure doses and application times, as well as their interactions, on lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) productivity and microbiological safety. The experiment was conducted from March to May 2023 in Cianjur, West Java, using a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with three replications. Treatments included a control and two factors: (1) manure dose (10, 20, and 30 t/ha), and (2) application times (1, 2, and 3 weeks before transplanting). Microbiological analysis of harvested lettuce leaves was performed in the laboratory to assess contamination levels of Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., and Shigella spp. Manure doses significantly influenced all growth and yield parameters but had no significant effect on quality variables, including flavonoid, nitrate, and total chlorophyll content. Application times showed no significant effect on any measured parameter. The interaction between dose and time was also not statistically significant for most variables. The highest productivity and marketable yield were observed at the 30 t/ha dose. Salmonella spp. was not detected in any samples; however, E. coli and Shigella spp. were present in all samples at levels exceeding the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for food safety. In addition to the required dose of chicken manure, to minimize microbial contamination, fully decomposed manure is recommended for application, as it can be applied to land shortly before planting. The use of microbial-free water for washing vegetables is recommended, including in further research.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran akan menentukan berhasil atau tidaknya proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan.oleh siswa-siswi kelas X di SMKN 1 Garut. Hal demikian dikuatkan dengan beberapa kejadian yang sering terjadi disekolah yaitu terkait penerapan model pembelajaran yang kurang tepat pada saat pembelajaran. sehinnga cara mengajar guru yang kurang variatif hanya menyajikan materi utama dengan penjelasan rinci mengenai bentuknya tanpa memberikan contoh yang sesuai sehingga tidak dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dan meningkatkan pendidikan karakternya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. apakah model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Student Team Achievement Division dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Model pembelajaran STAD sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa di kelas X PPL 1 SMKN 1 Garut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat peningkatan di setiap siklus, mulai dari siklus I dan berlanjut ke siklus II. Partisipasi siswa pada siklus I mencapai 68% dengan kategori cukup layak selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, sedangkan pada siklus II, persentase partisipasi siswa meningkat menjadi 80%, artinya pada siklus II, partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran meningkat dengan kategori layak selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

Sports coaching is not only influenced by the technical aspects of training, but also by the quality of social interactions between coaches, athletes, and parents. However, studies on social interactions in swimming coaching at the club level, particularly those involving these three parties, are still limited. This study aims to describe social interactions in swimming coaching at the Aqualux Garut Club using the 3+1Cs model (Closeness, Commitment, Complementarity, Co-orientation). The research method used was an ex-post facto study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The sample consisted of 10 athletes, 2 coaches, and 2 parents who were selected purposively. The research instruments were a 3+1Cs model questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and semi-structured interviews. The results showed that social interactions were in the very good category (average 81.5%), with the highest score in the Complementarity dimension (84%), followed by Closeness (83%), Commitment (81%), and Co-orientation (78%). Interviews corroborated the questionnaire findings, demonstrating emotional closeness, commitment, harmonious cooperation, and alignment of goals, although some athletes were still reluctant to express their opinions. The study concluded that positive social interactions play a crucial role in supporting athletes' skills, motivation, and mental well-being.

Abstract

The teaching and learning process which is an interaction carried out by all components of learning. All components of learning have different functions, so learning will be imperfect and difficult to achieve the expected goals. One that needs to be maximized is a learning method that is in accordance with the learning material and expected goals. In research using this literature method, it examines the learning methods used by Adnan Hasan Baharits in learning Hadith. This is important to study to know how effective ways to study Hadith. This research produces three main points, namely: first, before doing learning, teachers should prepare to explore the material to be taught by reading other references so that when delivering the material is not only fixated on one reference. Second, the ongoing learning process should involve all components of learning, especially students by providing opportunities for students to argue and think critically so that the learning process is not only teacher-oriented. Third, that learning evaluation can be done by giving questions to students related to the material that has been taught or by giving assignments to be done at home.

Abstract

Sintrong is an Indonesian indigenous vegetable with leaves used for vegetables, digestive disorders, and burns. Changes in the environment due to an increase in temperature affect the growth and quality of sitrong, and its existence in the nature is threatened. This study aims to obtain information about the effect of exposure to high temperatures on the physiological character and flavonoid content of indigenous sintrong vegetables and obtain accession of sintrong, which can be developed as a functional vegetable. The Nested randomized group design was applied with two factors, temperature differences as the main plot and accession as a second plot. Four replications were conducted for each accession in the Cikabayan experimental garden of IPB. The results showed that exposure to high temperatures up to 32 °C increased the speed of flowering age, which was 4.76% and 7.14% faster and showed a high wilting rate of 36.66%, but decreased leaf area index up to 30.30% and 42.42% at the conditions above ambient temperature exposure (control). Flavonoid content did not show any effect due to exposure to high temperatures. The flavonoid content reached 1695.38 and 1834.83 mg QE 100 g-1. Bogor 1 accession showed the best performance so that the plants can be developed for functional vegetables. Based on the research findings, sintrong should be harvested earlier before flowering to obtain high leaf production and good-quality vegetables.

Abstract

The process of self-pruning represents a form of self-destruction among shaded or diseased branches, which has the potential to deplete the resources of the tree. This phenomenon is also observed in natural ecosystems. The self-pruning mechanism can be exploited to reduce the cost of pruning in cultivated plants, such as lime trees. The objective of this study was to ascertain the mechanisms that occur during self-pruning in response to drought and flooding induction. The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with three replications. Each replication contained three plants, giving a total of 45 plants. Samples were taken from three plants per treatment. The treatments comprised irrigation at field capacity, irrigation every day, irrigation every three days, irrigation every five days, and irrigation every seven days, and the data were analyzed using the Duncan Multiple Range Test at the 95% level. The secondary, tertiary, and quaternary branches that experienced self-pruning due to drought and flooding treatments had average lengths ranging from 3.06 to 9.53 cm and diameters between 0.50 and 1.84 mm. The physiological responses, including the photosynthetic rate, showed that both drought and inundation treatments led to a decrease in stomatal conductance and transpiration. Furthermore, the concentrations of ethylene, abscisic acid, and proline increased markedly after seven months of treatment-induced self-pruning. Keywords: abscisic acid; ethylene; proline

Abstract

The research was aimed to determine the optimum shading level and effect two types of Indian Pennywort (Centella asiatica L. Urban)) on growth, production, and triterpernoid. The research was conducted on  March until November 2004 at BIOFARMAKA Research Station, Darmaga and chemical analysis was conducted at Analytical Chemistry Laboratory, FMIPA, Baranangsiang. Split plot design with two factors was used in this experiment. The first factor was shading level as main plots consisting of 0, 25, 55, and 75% shading level. The second factor was type of Indian Pennywort  as subplots  consisting  of big and small Indian Pennywort. Result of the reseach showed that shading effects decrease leaf area indeks, yield, and composition of triterpenoid content of Indian Pennywort. No shading treatment  showed optimum growth and yield. The combination of 25% shading and small type of Indian Pennywort  gave the highest triterpenoid content. Both types of Indian Pennywort showed best growth; the difference in length of petiole, number of leaf  and shoots but the small one gave the best yield.   Key words :  Indian Pennywort type, shading level, triterpenoid

Abstract

The experiment was aimed to study the effect of B and Zn on Cherelle Wilt and cacao production. The experiment was conducted at Rajamandala Plantation from March to September 1997.           Randomized Complete Block Design was used in this experiment with two factor and three replications. The first factor was 4 levels concentration of B fertilizer : 0 ppm Borax (BO), 3350 ppm Borax (B1), 6700 ppm Borax (B2), and 10050 ppm Borax (B3). The second factor was 4 levels concentration of Zn fertilizer : 0 ppm ZnSO4 (S0), 1250 ppm ZnSO4 (S0), 2500 ppm ZnSO4 (S0), and 3750 ppm ZnSO4 (S0).           The result showed that B fertilizer decrease the cumulative numbers of new cherelle, cherelle wilt, good cherelle, and cacao production. Zn fertilizer did not influence all of the parameters. Interaction of B and Zn fertilizer increase the cumulative number of new cherelle and decrease the cumulative numbers of cherelle wilt.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the characteristics of mangosteen fruit’s hull, xanthone content, and antioxidant potential on various stadia of mangosteen fruit development. The experiment was conducted in September 2006 until July 2008 using randomized complete block design, with three replications at maturation stage i.e. 1, 2, 3, and 4 months after anthesis. The parameters being observed were fruit’s hull characters, xanthone content, and antioxidant capacity. The results of this study showed that fruit diameter and fruit weight increased until three months after anthesis and then did not change signifi cantly once they entered the process of maturity. Thickness of fruit’s hull differed signifi cantly among maturation stage. The thickness of fruit hull was observed at two months and the highest weight was at three months after anthesis. Xanthone content of mangosteen fruit’s hull at a month up to four months after anthesis did not differ signifi cantly however capacity of antioxidant differed signifi cantly among fruit ages, the IC50 values increased with the increase of fruit maturation.
