Abstract

Analysis of pesticide residues in rice in Aceh Besar District using the Gas Chromatography – Electron Capture Detector (GC-ECD) method has been carried out. This study aims to validate the analytical method and determine the pesticide residue levels of Dichlorvos, Dimethoate, Bifenthrin, and λ-Cyhalothrin in rice samples. Rice samples in branded rice were taken from the Districts of Want Jaya, Indrapuri, Darussalam, Suka Makmur, Simpang Tiga, Kuta Baro, and ground using a grinder. The powder sample was extracted by the QuEChERS method and analyzed by GC-ECD. The results of the linearity test have met the requirements with the coefficient of determination (R2), which is an average of 0.98. The LOD values ranged from 0.013 to 0.017 mg/kg, while the LOQ ranged from 0.022 to 0.079 mg/kg. The results of precision and reproducibility (% RSD, n = 6) show the values of 0.56 - 1.26% and 1.14 - 2.19%, respectively, and the accuracy value (%Recovery) shows the results of 99.71 - 101.84%, with an RSD value of 2.42 - 3.59%, meet the requirement of 20%. The results of the analysis of the sample showed that sample A had a large %Recovery value in the Dichlorvos analyte, namely 139.10%, with the calculation that the Dichlorvos analyte contained 0.0206 mg/Kg. This value has not passed the MLR set by the European Food Safety Authority, which is 0.2 mg/Kg. In the other rice samples, no pesticide residue analytes were detected. The calculation of %Recovery of each analyte in the spiked sample ranged from 80-101%, which indicated that the pesticide residue analysis carried out had good accuracy, namely the requirement of 70-120%.

Abstract

Heavy metal contamination of traditional herbal medicine (jamu) is a threat to humans, especially at levels above known threshold concentrations. Traditional herbal medicine found in Banda Aceh City – Indonesia, polluted by heavy metals cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), and mercury (Hg) was performed. Heavy metal analysis used Flame - Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (FAAS) and Chemical Vapor Generation - Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (CVG - AAS) methods. The validation of the method was performed to obtain more accurate heavy metal analysis results for the samples. Heavy metal contamination, especially Pb metal, with concentrations of 4.32 ± 0.14 mg/Kg to 29.25 ± 0.24 mg/Kg. The Cd metal contamination was only found in herbal medicine sample E with a concentration of 0.80 ± 0.02 mg/Kg, above the threshold. The Hg metal contamination was also found with concentrations of 0.20 ± 0.01 to 2.14 ± 0.06 mg/Kg, and some were not detected. The government should be very concerned about stopping the distribution of herbal medicine that can be harmful to health and should inspect drug stores that still sell herbs that do not have established standards.

Abstract

Abstract. Forecasting Indonesia's rainy and dry seasons is increasingly complex, requiring effective forecasting methods. This research is focused on rainfall forecasting in Jakarta, which includes Kemayoran Station and Tanjung Priok Station, using the Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN model. In ARIMAX modeling, the exogenous variable involved is the humidity variable. The accuracy results of the Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN model will be compared with the ARIMAX model. The results of this study show that the Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN model provides better accuracy. At Kemayoran Station, the Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN (1,0,0) model with 1 hidden layer shows a lower MAPE, 21.145%, than the ARIMAX model. Meanwhile, at Tanjung Priok Station, the Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN (1,0,0) model with 2 hidden layers has a lower MAPE, which is 37.416% compared to the ARIMAX model. The results show that the Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN model provides better accuracy than the ARIMAX model in rainfall modeling in Jakarta. Applying the Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN model at Kemayoran Station produces better accuracy than the application at Tanjung Priok Station. Keywords: ARIMAX, Hybrid ARIMAX-ANN, Rainfall

Abstract

Ta'zir in Islamic education is an act that is carried out consciously by the educator by giving warnings and lessons to students for violations that have been committed in accordance with Islamic values and principles in accordance with the weight of the violations they have committed. The more serious the violation, the more severe the punishment will be. The issues that can be raised in this research are: (1) how is the implementation of ta'zir in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Badriyyah? (2) is there any influence of ta'zir on the level of discipline of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Badriyyah students? While this study aims to determine the application of ta'zir and the effect of ta'zir on the discipline of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Badriyyah students. The approach that the author uses is a quantitative approach. This study uses the method of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. With a sample of 84 respondents. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire instrument to obtain variable (X) and variable (Y) data. Testing the validity and reliability shows that the ta'zir questionnaire instrument on student discipline at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Badriyyah shows valid and reliable results. Based on the hypothesis test, it is known that ta'zir influences the discipline of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Badriyyah students. This is evidenced by the results of a simple regression test analysis, the value of F count = 0.008. And it can be seen that the R Square value is 0.620, which means that there is a strong influence between the ta'zir variables simultaneously on the disciplinary variable by 62%. From these results it means that there is a significant influence between ta'zir on the discipline of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Badriyyah students. This shows that the application of ta'zir following teaching and learning in relation to the discipline of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Al-Badriyyah students is well proven empirically.

Abstract

This article explores the concept "Preaching Bill Hikmah" (wisdom-based preaching) in the context of pluralism through Jürgen Habermas' communication paradigm. This article discusses the importance of ethical communication in da'wah, emphasizing the need for integrity on both the part of the preachers and their audiences. This article explains how Habermas's notion of communicative action can provide a framework for building interreligious dialogue, promoting tolerance and understanding. Reinforcing the idea of pluralism, this study highlights the importance of creating space for interfaith dialogue and emphasizes the need to unite various interpretations of Islam to counter radicalism and increase community cohesion. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a literature study approach. The results of this research show that Jürgen Habermas's communication paradigm, especially the concept communicative action, can be adapted in the context of da'wah to encourage inclusive, tolerant and ethical dialogue. This allows da'wah to become a unifying tool in a pluralistic society, where wisdom-based communication can reduce potential conflict, fight the spread of radicalism, and strengthen social harmony.
