Abstract

Teacher performance is a crucial element in education. Several issues related to teacher performance include the mismatch between academic disciplines and teaching areas, which hinders students' understanding, the qualification of teachers not meeting the required standards, teachers' welfare not being fulfilled, and a lack of understanding of the 2013 Curriculum (K13). According to the UNESCO Global Education Monitoring (GEM) Report 2016, Indonesia ranks 10th out of 14 developing countries in education, with the quality of teachers ranking 14th. This study aims to analyze teacher performance, madrasah head policies, and work motivation at MI Mujahidin Parimono Jombang. Using a quantitative approach with saturated sampling, the study involved teachers as respondents and utilized a questionnaire with 45 statements. The results showed that partially, the madrasah head's policy did not significantly affect teacher performance (sig. T = 0.916 > 0.05), while work motivation had a significant effect (sig. T = 0.041 < 0.05). Simultaneously, the madrasah head's policy and work motivation together significantly affected teacher performance (sig. F = 0.000 < 0.05).

Abstract

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) has long been used as a flavoring in various food products. However, concerns regarding the health impacts of MSG consumption, including sensitivity symptoms such as headaches and high blood pressure, have prompted many consumers to seek healthier alternatives. This study aims to evaluate adults' interest in the use of non-MSG natural flavorings and identify factors that influence this preference. The research method used was a quantitative survey with a sample of 53 adult respondents selected randomly. The research results showed that 56.6% of respondents preferred natural non-MSG flavorings for health reasons, while another 43.4% expressed a desire to use or prefer products made from artificial MSG. Natural alternatives such as anchovies, mushrooms, seaweed and cheese proved popular among respondents. The study concluded that there is significant interest among adults in switching to natural, non-MSG flavorings. Recommendations for food manufacturers include developing products with natural flavors, educating consumers about health benefits, and transparency in product labeling. In this way, manufacturers can meet the needs of a growing market and support healthier eating patterns.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of menu creativity and innovation on the purchasing interest of millennial consumers in the culinary business. The background of this study is based on changes in the consumption behaviour of millennials, who not only pursue taste but also pay attention to visual aspects, unique value, and emotional experiences when choosing food. This study employs a quantitative-descriptive approach using a survey method targeting 120 millennial respondents who actively consume creative and innovative culinary offerings. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results of the study indicate that menu creativity (β = 0.341; p < 0.001) and menu innovation (β = 0.468; p < 0.001) have a positive and significant effect on millennial consumers' purchasing interest, both partially and simultaneously (R² = 0.576; F = 47.53; p < 0.001). These findings support the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory, which explains that creativity and innovation as stimuli can shape consumers' perceptions and emotions, ultimately leading to purchasing decisions. This study provides strategic implications for culinary business actors to integrate creative design and innovative approaches in product development to be more relevant to the preferences of the digital-native generation.

Abstract

Basically, the religious principle which is owned by people have main related to the background, both in family, social as well as education. One of the absolute things is the attitude of diversity that always growth and development concurrently by the modern era. There who has tolerant, even the opposite of it is intolerant, however also there who is casual attitude. On the context of life that become the orientation are togetherness and peacefulness. therefore on the pesantren tradition famous as al-ahl assunnah wa al-jamaah or ASWAJA. Certainly, it is not all pesantren have similar definition to define the ASWAJA. Partially, there are also those who tend more serious and rigid to respond the diversity of life. Pesantren is traditional education containing transformation and transfer knowledge of diversity, particularly ASWAJA. Through were had come some phenomenon like “cekak nala,” “sumbu pendek,” and so on, it is necessary to look again at how the ASWAJA values are manifested. So it is necessary, dedication to implement ASWAJA values, the writer implements dedication in manifesting the values of ASWAJA through tauhid learning at the Darul Huda Sumbermanjing Wetan Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

the effective learning is the learning that can stimulate the enthusiasm and enjoyment of students follow the learning process. However, the obstacle of that, there are no many Islamic religious education teachers who are skilled in preparing and implementing lessons that are able to arouse the enthusiasm of their students and the lack of attention from school principals on the development of PAI learning in schools, including the availability of inadequate facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, teachers must be creative in designing learning activities, one of which is using appropriate learning strategies. The learning strategy that can create active and creative learning is the PAIKEM strategy. PAIKEM is a teaching and learning strategy that contains six important elements, that are learning, active, innovative, creative, effective and fun. The six elements have different characteristics and interpretations and must be integrated by the teacher who will apply them. The supporting factors of PAIKEM implementation include infrastructure, the ability of teachers to implement PAIKEM, and the readiness of students to receive the lessons. The inhibiting factors in implementing PAIKEM include the number of students, time allocation, and schedule changes.

Abstract

Neprilysin (NEP) is a zinc-dependent metallopeptidase, considered a key therapeutic target in heart failure management. Efficient identification of potent NEP inhibitors remains a challenge in drug discovery. The aim of this study was to develop a quantitative structure–activity relationship (QSAR) model using 2D Mordred molecular descriptors and Random Forest algorithms to predict the inhibitory potency (pIC50) of drug candidates. A curated dataset of compounds with experimentally determined IC₅₀ values (in nM) against NEP was preprocessed and converted to pIC50. Mordred was used to calculate 2D molecular descriptors, and descriptors with missing values were excluded. The dataset was split into training, internal validation, and external test sets. A Random Forest regression model was trained using 500 estimators, and model performance was evaluated using R2, root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and concordance correlation coefficient (CCC), while a binary classification model was also constructed. Feature importance, residual analysis, and chemical space visualization were conducted to assess model interpretability and reliability. The regression model demonstrated moderate to strong predictive performance, with R2 of 0.286, RMSE of 0.949, MAE of 0.723, and CCC of 0.532 in the internal validation. External validation showed improved generalization, with R2=0.659, RMSE=0.858, MAE=0.630, and CCC=0.763. Binary classification revealed an accuracy of 0.953, precision of 1.000, recall of 0.943, and an F1-score of 0.971, indicating strong discriminative ability in classifying inhibitory versus non-inhibitory compounds. Top contributing descriptors included ATSC2p (feature importance=0.0505), GATS2p (0.0408), and SaasC (0.0317). Principal component analysis (PCA) and Williams plots confirmed that test compounds lie within the model’s applicability domain, with no major outliers in leverage or residual distribution. The developed Random Forest-based QSAR model demonstrates strong predictive power and interpretability for identifying NEP inhibitors. This study provides a valuable tool for virtual screening and highlights the relevance of 2D structural features in governing NEP inhibitory activity. It is the first dedicated QSAR analysis of neprilysin inhibition using Mordred descriptors with rigorous internal and external validation.
