Abstract

Literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pengalaman pengasuhan orang tua dan validasi sosial terhadap kecenderungan narsistik pada individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review deskriptif dengan pendekatan naratif. Artikel diperoleh melalui pencarian pada Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, SINTA, Semantic Scholar, dan PubMed Central menggunakan kata kunci yang relevan. Proses seleksi dilakukan melalui identifikasi, penyaringan judul dan abstrak, serta penelaahan teks lengkap berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Kriteria inklusi meliputi artikel peer-reviewed yang diterbitkan pada periode 2020–2025 dan membahas pengalaman pengasuhan, validasi sosial, serta kecenderungan narsistik. Sebanyak 22 artikel memenuhi kriteria dan dianalisis secara naratif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh orang tua khususnya pola otoriter, permisif dan overvaluing, berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan kecenderungan narsistik pada anak dan remaja. Overvaluation orang tua dan pujian berlebihan berkorelasi positif dengan narsisme grandiosa, sementara pengasuhan yang dingin atau penolakan berkorelasi dengan narsisme rentan. Validasi sosial, khususnya melalui media digital, memperkuat perilaku narsistik dengan menyediakan mekanisme persetujuan internal yang menggantikan regulasi diri internal yang sehat. Kombinasi antara pengalaman pengasuhan yang tidak memadai dan kebutuhan akan validasi sosial di era digital menciptakan faktor risiko berlapis bagi perkembangan kepribadian narsistik. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya psikoedukasi orang tua, literasi digital, dan intervensi psikologis sebagai upaya pencegahan kecenderungan narsistik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses penerimaan diri pada individu yang mengalami gagap. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang melibatkan dua subjek yang mengalami gagap. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses penerimaan diri terjadi secara bertahap, dimulai dengan kesadaran akan kondisi diri, munculnya respons emosional negatif seperti rasa malu, harga diri yang rendah, dan kecemasan, serta berpuncak pada pengalaman stigma sosial dari lingkungan. Meskipun demikian, dukungan sosial dari keluarga dan teman sebaya memainkan peran penting dalam membantu individu mengatasi kondisi ini. Pada akhirnya, kedua subjek menunjukkan perubahan dalam persepsi diri mereka, di mana mereka mulai memandang gagap sebagai bagian yang dapat diterima dari diri mereka, yang menunjukkan bahwa mereka telah mencapai tahap penerimaan diri. Penerimaan diri pada individu yang mengalami gagap berlangsung secara bertahap, dimulai dari respons emosional negatif hingga menghadapi stigma sosial. Dukungan dari lingkungan, terutama keluarga dan teman sebaya, berperan penting dalam membantu individu mencapai tahap penerimaan diri dan mampu menerima kondisi gagap sebagai bagian dari dirinya.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to strengthen farmers’ capacity to develop an environmentally friendly integrated farming system based on organic rice-fish farming through a Focus Group Discussion approach grounded in global collaboration. The activity was conducted in Tanah Merah Village, Serdang Bedagai District, and involved farmer groups, the local government, academics, and international partners from Srinakharinwirot University, Thailand. The method used was a participatory approach through the stages of problem identification, guided group discussions, technology dissemination, and the formulation of recommendations. The activity results showed an increase in community understanding of the integration of rice and fish farming, as well as the importance of downstream product processing and standardization. The Focus Group Discussion also successfully identified key issues, including limited marketing opportunities, weak farmer institutions, and dependence on chemical inputs. Additionally, international collaboration contributed to the transfer of food production technology and the enhancement of product value.

Abstract

Sexual violence prevention and response in higher education require institutional systems that ensure equitable access for all members of the academic community, including persons with disabilities. Despite the establishment of Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Task Forces (Satgas PPK) in Indonesian universities, evidence on disability-inclusive service models remains limited. This study aimed to identify barriers to accessible support services and develop an inclusive service model for university-based task forces using a participatory approach. A qualitative study was conducted through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving multidisciplinary stakeholders, including task force members, academics, disability advocates, legal aid organizations, government agencies, and an international partner from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Five major themes emerged: (1) barriers to accessible reporting and service utilization, (2) strengthening faculty-based peer support, (3) victim-centered and disability-inclusive services, (4) multidisciplinary referral pathways, and (5) institutional governance for sustainable services. The findings highlight the importance of integrating accessible reporting, trained peer supporters, coordinated psychosocial and legal assistance, and institutional policies supported by permanent organizational structures. The proposed Inclusive Service Model emphasizes accessibility, collaboration, and institutional commitment as key elements of sustainable violence prevention and response in higher education, providing practical and policy recommendations for strengthening inclusive governance and protecting persons with disabilities.

Abstract

Final-year students often experience anxiety that affects their performance, especially during th processof writing their theses. This study aimed to examine the effect of positive thinkig on anxiety amongstudents at University of Pembangunan Panca Budi Medan. The research method used wasquantitative. The population in this study consisted of 120 students writing theses in the managementprogram at University of Pembangunan Pancabudi Medan, and a sample of 48 students was selectedusing purposive sampling. Data were collected using a positive thinking scale and an anxiety scale. Theresults of the study indicated a negative effect of positive thinking on anxiety, with a simple linearregression value (rxy) of -0.574 and p = 0.000 < 0.05, thus acceptiong the hypothesis. Data analysisshowed that anxiety levels were high (Hypothetical Mean 70 < Empirical Mean 85.75), with thedifference exceeding one standard deviation (9.836). conversly, positive thinking levels were low(Hypothetical Mean 60 > Empirical Mean 45.19), with the difference exceeding one standard deviation(6.903). The result of the study suggested that positive thinking can be an effective strategy to overcomethe anxiety experienced by studente while working on their theses. These findings provide importantcontributions to the field of psychology, particularly in efforts to improve students’ mental well-being.

Abstract

This study is a qualitative research on effective parenting styles of children with autism. In this studythere are some things you want investigated, namely: the form of parenting styles in children withautism who are independent and autistic children are not independent, and the kind of self-reliance inchildren. Data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. Respondents in this studyamounted to two people, the mothers of children with autism. The study involved the respondent'shusband, a child therapist respondent, the respondent children and teachers tk. The research wassupported by the theory of parenting styles, effective parenting styles theory to children with autismand theory of self reliance. Parenting style is the interaction between parents and children, namely howparental attitudes or behaviors when interacting with children including the application of rules againstchildren and teach values or norms. Effective parenting style parenting is the way that suits the needsof children including the application of rules against children; choosing appropriate strategies for thechild. Children with autism are children who have a tendency of behavior in which the child is lackingin social interaction, delayed language development, and has its own world. Independence is a skill tohelp themselves, both physically and psychologically self-reliance The results of this study concludedthat the Authoritarian and permissive parenting styles that have been applied to respondents for theirchildren I do not make the child independent, while the second respondent on parenting styles are authoritative parenting styles and effective parenting styles to make his son to become independent.
