Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the impact of humor style and positive communication on interpersonal skills among university students in three provinces in Sulawesi through quantitative correlation analysis research. The sample consisted of 389 university students from South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Central Sulawesi. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using JASP software between the variables of humor style (X1), positive communication (X2) and interpersonal skills (Y). The findings of this study, obtained from descriptive and regression tests, show that students who apply positive communication tend to have a more effective impact on their interpersonal skills. In addition, humor style in positive communication patterns has a significant influence on the success of one's communication. Therefore, it can be concluded that positive communication with elements of humor in interactions is very important to improve one's interpersonal skills in various aspects of student life.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an inventory to measure subjective well-being among high school (SMA) and vocational high school (SMK) students in Indonesia. Using Item Response Theory (IRT with the Rasch model and Winstep software, it adopts a mixed methods design, specifically an exploratory sequential approach. Purposive sampling selects 350 participants from 16 schools in West Java, Sulawesi, and Sumatra. The inventory comprises 60 statement items across three components: pleasant affect, unpleasant affect, and life satisfaction, totaling 16 indicators. Modified Likert scales assess each item. Validation involves validators expert guidance counseling, and Rasch modeling analysis covering item fit, dimensionality, and reliability. The research findings indicate that the development of the Indonesian version of the subjective well-being inventory for high school/vocational high school students using the Rasch modeling approach has successfully produced a valid and reliable measurement tool. The analysis results show that this inventory meets the criteria for item fit, inventory dimensionality, and person and item reliability

Abstract

The implementation of the research is based on the number of cases of incest that occurred in South Sulawesi. The research aims to provide an overview of how the existence of pappaseng “Tellu Riala Sappo” can be used to prevent the emergence of incest behavior in the Bugis community of South Sulawesi. The method of this research is qualitative approach through a case study. The data collection consists of interview techniques and documentation studies. The Data Analysis was conducted for several stages. It consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The performing data validation b using data triangulation. The results of data analysis point out that (1) the phenomenon of incest occurs in the Bugis people of South Sulawesi. Most of the incest cases that occur because of the perpetrator’s lack of self-control and religious understanding, so that they cannot contain their lust. (2) The existence of Pappaseng Tellu Riala Sappo in the Bugis community is only known by some people, and; (3) Pappaseng Tellu Riala Sappo contains religious values and self-control (Siri’) that can prevent the emergence of incest behavior in the Bugis people of South Sulawesi.

Abstract

Abstrak. Bencana alam dapat memberikan dampak yang cukup parah bagi parakorban baik secara fisik, psikologis maupun sosial, Bahkan masih saja dihantui rasa takut saat hendak menyelamatkan diri sendiri dari bencana alam yang terjadi. Salah satu implementasi program mentor sebaya yang dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan psikologis remaja korban bencana alam adalah membentuk suatu proses pemberian bantuan berupa penyembuhan untuk mengatasi gangguan psikologis seperti kecemasan, panik, dan gangguan lainnya karena lemahnya ketahanan fungsi-fungsi mental yang dimiliki individu korban bencana alam. Mentor sebaya tentunya memberikan dampak positif terhadap upaya membantu korban bencana dalam mengatasi masalahnya sehingga memberikan peningkatan kapasitas resiliensi korban bencana alam di Sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuanititatif. Populasi penelitian adalah guru BK dan siswa pada jenjang SMP, SMA, dan SMK di Kabupaten Majene dan Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Subjek penelitian dari guru BK diambil dan diwakili oleh 1 orang dari setiap sekolah yang memiliki guru BK dari kedua kabupaten. Berdasarkan hasil temuan melalui gambaran kebutuhan pendampingan psikososial ditemukan panduan mitigasi bencana terhadap remaja dibutuhkan dalam mencegah resiko trauma dengan kategori sangat setuju. Gambaran kebutuhan pendampingan psikososial sebaya dengan indikator kesediaan dan saran pengembangan model dengan kategori sangat setuju. Kemudian hasil pelaksanaan ditemukan gambaran kesiapsiagaan melalui indikator pengetahuan terkait bencana terkategori cukup baik.  Kata Kunci: Analisis kebutuhan, Konseling kesiapsiagaan, Mitigasi Psikososial, Psikososial Sebaya, Bencana Alam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan teknik problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perancanaan karier siswa kelas XII di SMA . Adapun Metode Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 responden yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu 15 responden untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 15 responden untuk kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistic deskriptif dan analisis inferensial dengan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan t-test dengan jenis independent sample t-test. Berdasarkan hasil sebelum dan setelah pemberian perlakuan, diperoleh hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000< α = 0,05 menunjukkan H0 ditolak maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan teknik problem solving dapat meningkatkan kemampuan perancanaan karier siswa kelas XII di SMA.

Abstract

This research discusses the assertiveness of victims of bullying that occurs among students at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. The main studies of this research are: (1) Description of the assertiveness of bullying victims (ARH) at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. (2) Factors that influence the assertiveness of bullying victims (ARH) at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. (3) Handling efforts to overcome the problem of assertiveness of bullying victims (ARH) at SMA Negeri 2 Soppeng. This research uses a qualitative approach with a clinical case study type of research. Data collection through interviews and observations. Data analysis used descriptive analysis with the Milles and Huberman model. The research results obtained were (1) Description of assertiveness in ARH subjects, namely not being able to express or express feelings honestly, feeling afraid and embarrassed or anxious when they want to complain or report their problems to other people or those closest to them. and not putting up a fight when he is being bullied. (2) factors that influence low assertiveness in victims of ARH bullying, namely psychological condition factors such as low self-confidence, worry about other people's judgments as well as anxiety and fear of being the target of further bullying as well as parenting style factors from authoritarian parents. (3) Based on the causes of the problems experienced by ARH, the intervention that is considered the most effective compared to other interventions in increasing the assertiveness of ARH bullying victims is by providing assertive training from a behavioral counseling approach

Abstract

Abstrak – Tujuan dari Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah mengidentifikasi perilaku berisiko Bullying pada peserta didik SMA di Kabupaten Majene dan memberikan edukasi untuk mencegah perilaku bersiko Bullying terhadap satuan Pendidikan peserta didik Kabupaten Majene Sulawesi Barat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di salah satu ruangan SMA Negeri 3 Majene, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat. Peserta dalam program kegiatan PKM ini adalah seluruh guru di SMA Negeri 3 Majene yang berjumlah 17 Orang. Target pengabdian ini memiliki luaran yaitu mengenali bentuk-bentuk bullying yang terjadi pada rentang usia remaja di Sekolah, melatih peserta didik dalam mereduksi perilaku bullying yang memberikan dampak psikis terhadap korban sehingga setiap peserta didik merasa aware terhadap perilaku menyimpang tersebut, kemudian melaksanakan pelatihan berbasis preventif, efektif dan kuratif melalui pembentukan mentor sebaya yang akan memberikan dukungan mereduksi adanya perilaku bullying di sekolah #StopBullying. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam pengabdian ini adalah adanya pemahaman yang sangat baik dari guru tentang bullying yang terdapat di sekolah, hal tersebut dibuktikan melalui antusiasme guru selama mengikuti pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan dan menyajikan materi yang relevan terhadap kebutuhan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah.Kata kunci: Program Pencegahan; Perundungan; Mentor Sebaya.

Abstract

This study aims to develop guidelines for empathetic communication methods for teachers and students in preventing gender bias microaggressions based on flip book media. This research method uses Hannafin and Peck's model development research. This development research applies steps starting from the stages of needs analysis, design, product development, material and media expert testing, revision, and user testing. The subjects of this study were 20 elementary school teachers in Makassar City. The research data collection technique uses a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation, and user trials in the form of a Google form using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques using descriptive and reflective data analysis. The results showed that the teacher's level of need for digital guidance was 90% and was categorized as feasible through validation by media and material experts at 90% and through the user test process with a high level of media feasibility. This shows that the teach-smart digital guide is appropriate in reducing and preventing microaggressions caused by the teacher's gender bias behavior in the learning process.

Abstract

This research develops career guidance media based on motion graphic animation as a career information service for elementary school students. The purpose of this research is to find out; 1) Description of media needs for career guidance; 2) Career guidance media prototype; and 3) To produce valid and practical motion graphic animation-based career guidance media. This study uses the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this study were angles and interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it shows that 1) Students of SD Negeri Bontocinde have a low understanding of careers so that media such as Motion graphic Animation is needed to support the implementation of career information services; 2) Prototype of Motion graphic Animation media consisting of opening, introduction, content, and outro/closing; 3) Assessment of motion graphic animation media was carried out by material experts (score 3.5 very good) and media experts (score 3.9 very good). Assessment by the teacher obtained values from all three aspects, namely usability, feasibility, and accuracy with a total proportion obtained of 84% with very valid criteria. In conclusion, the level of validity of the Animation Motion graphic media as a career information service is stated to be valid for student use so that the media is feasible for extensive testing.
