Abstract

The objectives of this service activity include a) increasing students' basic komputer mastery and b) helping improve students' skills in using komputers. This service activity was carried out at SDN Kedungotok, Tembelang District from October 26 – to October 30, 2021. This activity was attended by 30 class V students. This service activity used discussion and training methods. Discussion activities are carried out by asking questions to the participants and training activities are carried out with basic komputer training for the participants. The results of community service activities showed that 67% of students in the high category in using and operating komputers and 33% of students in the moderate category in using and operating komputers. In the aspect of the ability to use Microsoft word the lowest average value with a value of 2.9 or less.

Abstract

Purpose: This study addresses the shift from conventional to Digital Marketing strategies in Jatiwates village, Jombang, East Java, in response to pandemic-induced marketing challenges. The research explores the impact of Digital Marketing training on local agricultural promotion, emphasizing its practical significance and economic sustainability. Method: Employing qualitative methods, this research investigates the efficacy of Digital Marketing training through direct engagement, observations, and interviews. Thematic analysis reveals insights into the transition's outcomes and practical implications. Practical Applications: The study highlights how Digital Marketing adoption benefits rural communities reliant on agriculture, enhancing market reach and cost-effectiveness. The findings underscore its potential for similar sectors and geographies, aiding pandemic resilience and sustainable development. Conclusion: The research shows that Digital Marketing training empowers communities like Jatiwates, enabling adaptation to dynamic conditions and improved economic prospects. Embracing digital strategies becomes pivotal for rural development, contributing to practical insights into Digital Marketing's contextual relevance and fostering resilience.

Abstract

Rendahnya daya saing seringkali disebabkan oleh terbatasnya kapasitas pelaku ekonomi dalam pemasaran. Maka Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan perekonomian lokal Desa Turi Pinggir Megaluh dengan memperbaiki desain kemasan produk keripik tempe dan menerapkan strategi kesadaran bisnis melalui digital. Desa Turi Pinggir Megaluh yang terletak di pedesaan mempunyai potensi yang besar dalam memproduksi keripik tempe yang berkualitas namun seringkali mengalami kendala dalam pemasaran dan branding. survei awal dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan permasalahan yang dihadapi produsen keripik tempe lokal, merancang kemasan yang menarik dan fungsional, serta mengembangkan strategi sosialisasi melalui sarana digital seperti jejaring sosial dan platform e-commerce. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah desain kemasan yang lebih menarik dan fungsional, serta pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang pemasaran digital oleh produsen. Berkat pendekatan ini, penjualan keripik tempe di Desa Turi Pinggir Megaluh meningkat signifikan. Selain itu, masyarakat lokal juga mendapat manfaat dari peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemasaran digital, yang dapat membantu mereka mengembangkan usaha mikro di masa depan

Abstract

Santri santri TPQ di Desa Turipinggir banyak yang mengalami Kesulitan dalam menerapka ilmu tajwid dalam membaca Al-Qur'an. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengajar TPQ dalam mengajarkan tajwid kepada santri, sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan santri dalam membaca Al-Quran dengan benar sesuai dengan prinsip tajwid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan tajwid memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan pada pemahaman dan keterampilan pengajar dalam mengajarkan tajwid kepada para santri. Selain itu, santri TPQ di Desa Turipinggir juga mengalami peningkatan yang berarti dalam kemampuan mereka membaca Al-Quran dengan benar. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan tajwid berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam di desa tersebut.

Abstract

The management of water billing in boarding houses often faces problems related to accuracy and fairness due to manual recording systems. This study aims to design a web-based monthly water billing system that can calculate and present water usage charges accurately for each room. The system was developed using the Waterfall method, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. Water consumption data are processed to generate monthly bills based on predefined tariffs and stored in a database for reporting purposes. The application was implemented using PHP and MySQL. System testing using black-box testing shows that the billing calculation and reporting functions run correctly. The proposed system is expected to improve accuracy and efficiency in water billing management for boarding houses. The testing results indicate that the system is able to accurately calculate water bills based on usage data and predefined tariffs, as well as automatically generate monthly reports.

Abstract

Perkembangan bisnis saat ini sudah sangat berkembang pesat, UMKM harus mengikuti kemajuan teknologi informasi dengan tujuan untuk memperluas pasar dan meningkatkan penjualan. Kemajuan teknologi informasi adalah dengan melakukan penjualan online. Memudahkan para penjual serta pembeli dalam berinteraksi melalui fitur live chatnya, Shoppe juga menyediakan banyak produk mulai dari gadget, fashion, kosmetik, elektronik, Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh UMKM di Desa Sumberagung adalah masalah pemasaran dan keterampilan menggunakan teknologi. UMKM di Desa Sumberagung memerlukan pengembangan usaha berbasis teknologi sehingga dapat bersaing dengan usaha-usaha baru yang bersifat online. Penggunaan media pemasaran pada  UMKM di Desa Sumberagung Kecamatan Megaluh. Pada kegiatan ini solusi yang diberikan dalam menyelesaikan permassalahan UMKM desa Sumberagung engan upaya pengembangan usaha berbasis teknologi pada UMKM Desa  Sumberagung melalui pelatihan digital marketing. Metode yang digunakan dalam identifikasi penggunaan media pemasaran adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran kuisioner  Metode yang digunakan dalam upaya kegiatan ini dengan diskusi, dan ceramah,  Demonstrasi dan Paktik. Dalam pelaksanaan kegitan pengabdian ini, dilakukan kegitan berupa; pelatihan penggunaan sistem marketplce yang memanfaatkan fasilitas pada apk Shopee, pelatihan pembuatan akun marketplace untuk bahan promosi di Shopee, pelatihan pembuatan foto produk bagi penjual, pelatihan pembuatan content copy write penjual. Hasil setelah melakukan kegiatan yang diterapkan pada Para UMKM Desa Sumberagung berjalan dengan lancar, meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala namun hal itu dapat teratasi dengan baik. Perubahan setelah diadakannya kegiatan yang pada awalnya para sasaran hanya melakukan promosi secara offline, mereka dapat memasarkan produknya secara online melalui platform shopee yang telah mereka buat serta memperoleh pasar yang bertambah luas.

Abstract

In tropical countries such as Indonesia, thermal comfort in residential rooms, especially bedrooms, often receives insufficient attention. High humidity levels can cause discomfort and negatively affect health; however, most homeowners do not have access to simple, accurate measuring instruments. This study intends to develop a microclimate monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to measure temperature and humidity in real time. The system was built using an ESP32 microcontroller and a DHT22 sensor, with data transmitted and visualized via the Blynk application. The prototype was tested directly in a residential bedroom to observe actual environmental conditions. The results show that the system operates reliably and provides stable real-time readings. During the ventilation test, room humidity decreased from 86% to 78% after air circulation was activated, while the temperature remained relatively constant at approximately 32°C. The data show that the developed system can assist occupants in understanding indoor environmental conditions and in making well-informed choices regarding room ventilation.

Abstract

Fire is a frequent disaster and can cause significant losses, both in terms of material and human safety. Delays in detecting fires are a major factor in their impact. Therefore, an early fire monitoring system capable of providing information quickly and in real time is needed. This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based early fire monitoring system using the ESP8266 module as the main controller, a fire sensor as a flame detector, and the Firebase Realtime Database as a medium for online data storage and monitoring. This system works by detecting the presence of fire through the fire sensor, then the ESP8266 sends the detected data to Firebase in real time. This information can be monitored through an application or web monitoring. Test results show that the system is able to detect fire effectively and transmit data to Firebase quickly and stably, making it suitable for use as an early fire warning system.

Abstract

The gold jewelry industry, particularly within Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), often faces crucial challenges regarding product quality consistency due to high reliance on conventional melting methods. Currently, the vital control of melting temperature relies solely on the operator's visual intuition in observing the glowing color gradation of the crucible. Dependence on this subjective approach carries significant production risks, including porosity defects, low metal alloy homogeneity, and substantial financial losses due to gold mass shrinkage or evaporation caused by overheating. This study aims to engineer a precise real-time temperature monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to address these issues. The system is developed by integrating an ESP32 microcontroller as the main processing unit that processes digital data from a Type-K thermocouple sensor and MAX6675 amplifier module, then visualizing the data directly through the Blynk app interface on a smartphone. The research method includes designing hardware resistant to extreme heat environments, developing smart notification algorithms for early warning, and field testing on 24-karat pure gold melting. Test results show that the system is capable of monitoring the thermal characteristics of melting through outer crucible wall measurements up to a stable temperature of 625 degrees Celsius, which empirically correlates with the liquid phase of pure gold. The system also features responsive data transmission performance with an average latency of only 1.2 seconds. Additionally, the early warning feature successfully operates effectively at a calibration threshold of 620 degrees Celsius. Implementation of this system proves capable of increasing operational time efficiency and minimizing the risk of melting failure, making it a vital appropriate technology solution for the modernization of the gold industry.
