Abstract

The objective of research were to find out the effect of lecturers’ competencies and learning facilities on students’ satisfaction of economic education FKIP UNS. The method used quantitative method . The sample were 171 students’ trade system Forces Economic Education FKIP. The data collection techniques used questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of lecturers’ competencies and learning facilities variables on students’ satisfaction of economic education FKIP UNS. The magnitude of the effect of lecturers’ competencies and learning facilities variables toward students’ satisfaction simultaneously obtained from the calculation of the R-square of 70,4%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effort of implementation cooperative learning Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) to improve economic learning activity at second grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom In Academic Year 2014/2015. The research model is Classrom Action Research. The researcher took the class of X.IIS.3 SMA Negeri 1 Karanganom in academic years of 2014/2015 as the subject for this research, whih consist of 26 students. The technique for collecting the data was: (a) observasion, (b) test, (c) interview, and (d) documentations. The procedure pf the research was: (a) planning, (b) planning, (c) observation, and (d) reflection. The research was conducted by two cycles, where each cycle carried out in three meeting, each meeting was conducted in 2x45 minutes. The conclusion of this study were: (1) learning activity has increased from 1st cycle to 2nd cycle. It can be revealed that Oral Activites has increased 11,54% from 73,07% initially to 84,61%, Listening Activities has increased 9,63% from 80,76 % initially to 90,38%, Writing Activities has increased 13,47% from 80,76% initially to 94,23%, Mental Activities has increased 17,28% from 69,23% initially to 84,61%, Emotional Activities has increased 19,31% from 78,84% initially to 96,15%. (2) from the result as learning score has increased 5,38% from 77,69% to 83,07% in 1st cycle to 2nd cycle.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know (1) the reasons majority of economic teachers have not conduct Classroom Action Research (CAR), (2) the school’s efforts to encourage and overcome difficulties in conducting CAR. This research was a qualitative research which used case study methodology the techniques of collecting data were used unstructured planning interview and documentation with the techniques of data analysis used analysis interactive Miles and Huberman. The result of this research was following: First, the main reason was that they were not motivated yet while the supporting reasons were following: (a) facing technical difficulties; (b) teachers’ perceptions such as busy and CAR was burden teachers, time and financial consuming; (c) training of CAR wasn’t optimal, (d) lack of reading habit about books of CAR; (e) lack of experiences in research; (f) influence of teachers’ age. Although the age wasn’t fully influenced, there were other factors that influenced teachers in conducting CAR such as their experiences, motivation and manner toward rule. Second, the school’s efforts to encourage teacher in conducting CAR were by giving socialism, information and reminding importance CAR mainly when the meeting was held of school whereas the school’s efforts to overcome the teachers’ difficulties were by providing internet access and reference books of CAR.

Abstract

The research purpose is to explore (1) the implementation of practical activities in the Marketing Laboratory; (2) the Marketing Laboratory roles; (3) the constraints; (4) the efforts. This research using a single case study, qualitative research approach with the result: First, the practice were conducted in the second grade with material which according to curriculum and the needs of DU / DI. The guidance process was done three times a day. The practice evaluation including the aspect of capabilities, personalities and attitudes. Second, there are two of roles marketing laboratory, they are as a tool of supporting the learning process which not maximally because of the infrastructure is unqualified and as a training tool in improving students' skill. Third, the constraint faced by students including the adjustment, the use of facilities and application, dealing with customers, the student attitude which less of attention, urbane, confident, alert, many questions and apathy so they just are waiting for order. Fourth, the school efforts are: evaluates and follow up on feedback from DU/DI, provide counseling and debriefing before the implementation of the field work practice, give opportunity for students to express the process and the constraint of field work practice.

Abstract

The research is aimed to discover the implementation, the level of successfulness and the obstacles during the full day school implementation  at characters education.Phenomenology method is used in the research with the approach of qualitative research. The sources of the data are primary and secondary data. Technique are used in the research are planned unstructured interview, observation and documentation. The sampling techniques are used purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Credibility test and dependability test are used to test the validity of the data with the analysis technique data before and after of the field. There are three stages of analysis in the field; data reduction, data display and data summary.The finding of the research are as follows: first, characters education through the implementation of full day school implemented by three basic steps from the guidance of characters education strengthening (PPK), such as PPK in the class basic, PPK with school’s culture basic and PPK with community’s basic. Activities at PPK’s class basic consist of integration in learning subjects, the optimization of local wisdom, class management and PPK in the form of guidance and counselling services. Activities at PPK with school’s culture basic consist of habitual of school’s values in the daily life at school, educators’ role-modelling, school’s environment, school’s rules, and the developing of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Activities at PPK with community’s basic still in the form of involvement of parents and school’s committee. Second, the successfulness of characters education through the implementation of full day school shown by the embedding of five main values of the character based on the Basic Concept of PPK  Kemendikbud 2016. Third, the factors which becomes the obstacles to implement the characters education through full day school are lack of time, energy, and mind that caused the fatigue and unable to manage the time. Full day schools also have economic links to students.

Abstract

is research aims to determine (1) influence between core selfevaluation and economic literacy on interest in entrepreneurship; (2) influence between core self-evaluation on interest in entrepreneurship; (3) influence between economic literacy on interest in entrepreneurship. The research methods used in this study is a descriptive quantitative research method. The population in this research was student of Management and Business Expertise SMK Batik 1 Surakarta with a total of 147 students. The research sample of 108 students with proportional sampling. Data collection techniques carried out by questionnaire, test, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques using Multiple Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed (1) core self-evaluation and economic literacy simultaneously have positive effect on entrepreneurial interests; (2) core self-evaluation have positive effect on entrepreneurial interests; (3) economic literacy have positive effect on entrepreneurial interests.

Abstract

The objective of research was to improve the learning achievement of negotiation and confirmation matter in the students of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo through using blog as learning media. This study was a classroom action research (CAR). This research was taken place in two cycles in nine meetings, with duration of 2 x 45 minutes for each meeting, and each cycles consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of research was the 11th Marketing 1 Graders of State Vocational High School 1 of Sukoharjo in the school year of 2014/2015, consisting of 33 students. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, test, field note, interview, and documentation. Technique analyse data is quantitative analysis, analysis qualitative, analyse comparability. The result of research showed that the utilization of blog could evidently improve learning achievement. It could be seen from the increase in the students’ learning outcome score from the mean class score of 71.69 in pre cycle to 83.83 in cycle I (increasing by 12.14 points) and from the learning passing score of 45.45% in pre cycle to 87.87% in cycle II (increasing by 42.42%). Meanwhile, for the learning outcome in cycle II, the mean class score increased by 1.43 points (from 83.83 in cycle I to 85.26 in cycle II) and the passing score by 6.07% (from 87.87% in cycle I to 93.94% in cycle II). Thus, it could be concluded that the utilization of blog as learning media to improve learning achievement had achieved the expected result in this research, in which the where each has achieved indicators reached by >75%.
