Abstract

Text file sizes are sometimes relatively large where the better the quality of the resulting text files, the larger the file size needed to store the text files. With a very large text file size, when carrying out the transfer process the transfer process may fail because the media storage space exceeds the limit. The solution to this problem is how the text file can be compressed in order to speed up the transfer and storage of text files. Compression of text files is done by reducing the size of the text file by reducing the bits in the text file, but not eliminating the information data in it. By compressing, large data will be reduced in size so as to save storage space. In this study, the algorithm used is the Fibonacci code, by using this algorithm, the compression results of the values have different results for each value, and the compression results will be beneficial in sending, and moving text files will be easier.

Abstract

The Photo Editing application is an application that provides various features that are used to create various photos. There are many Photo Editing applications circulating in the play store, so in this case a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed in determining which Novel reading applications must be recommended to the general public. In determining this, there are several alternatives and criteria including rating, number of users, features, user reviews and paid features. A system supporting decision is needed in determining which Photo Editing application is worthy of being recommended with a combination of the ROC (Rank order Centroid) method and generating weight values on certain criteria and the MAUT (Multi-Attribute Utility Theory) method producing the best preferences according to data such as alternatives and criteria that have been determined and produce the best preference value in the 1st alternative, namely Picsart with a value of 0.649.

Abstract

State Junior High School 1 Datuk Fifty is a public school located at Simpang Dolok Batu Bara. So far, the selection of the best teachers is still experiencing problems, namely the frequent occurrence of nepotism. In addition, the selection of the best teachers is still done manually. So that errors often occur in the assessment of the selection of the best teacher. Not only that, even the school still chooses only the closest people who will be the best teachers. So that in the assessment of the best teacher, it is necessary to do how to teach students well, improve the quality of teaching work in the room and have the motivation to become the best teacher. So to overcome these problems a decision support system is needed in selecting the best teachers by applying the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method in the ranking process, and the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method to produce weight values. According to the results of the ranking which was carried out using the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) method, the one who obtained the highest score would be selected as the best teacher at Datuk Fifty Public Middle School (SMP) 1.

Abstract

The use of storage media to store various data, be it text, video or audio, has been used for a long time and continues to grow today. The amount of data will affect the process of data transmission and the use of large enough storage space. This is the background for applying the compression process to data, especially text data, so that data can be reduced and facilitate the data transmission process and use less storage space. However, many compression techniques or methods have been found from various experts, which makes it a difficult choice to determine which method is efficient enough for compressing data, especially text data. Data compression, of course, gives results from different compression ratios, including the Elias Delta Code and Prefix Code compression yahoo. In compressing text data the author uses the yahoo Elias Delta Code and yahoo Prefix Code compression methods and analyzes and compares the performance results of the data compression ratio in the two algorithms. In this study, comparisons were made in comparing the Elias Delta Code algorithm and the Prefix Code algorithm in text data compression, the Elias Delta Code algorithm topped first with a comparison result of 73.3% compared to the Prefix Code algorithm which had a comparison value of 66.6%. . Based on this analysis, the Elias Delta Code algorithm is the best algorithm for compressing.

Abstract

Scholarship assistance is educational assistance organized by the government, foundations or companies to help ease the burden on underprivileged students so they can continue their education and to improve the quality of human resources through education. YAPIM SMA provides scholarships to underprivileged students every year. To get the scholarship, the school sets several criteria for which students can be recommended and are entitled to receive scholarship assistance for the underprivileged. These criteria will later help the school in determining which students are entitled to get scholarships for underprivileged students. To make it easier for schools to determine students who are entitled to scholarships, it is necessary to have a decision support recommendation system that functions to help select prospective scholarship recipients who are less fortunate. In this study the authors applied the OCRA method for ranking values and the order centroid ranking method ( ROC) for the results of weighting at YAPIM schools. By implementing this decision support system, the school can easily determine students who are entitled to get underprivileged scholarships. The assessment runs objectively, accurately.

Abstract

In the learning process in class, SD Alwashliyah 13 teachers can utilize a learning media that can improve students' creative and innovative mindsets. One of the learning media that can be used by teachers is the Google Slides application. This application can be used when the teacher presents or explains material to students in an attractive appearance and can make the class atmosphere active and enthusiastic. The current problem is that there are still many SD ALwashliyah 13 teachers who do not understand learning media in the form of Google Slides. So with community service at SD Alwashliyah 13 Medan with the theme of developing interactive learning media using Google Slides it is hoped that this dedication can become useful knowledge for SD Alwashliyah 13 teachers and aims to be more creative and innovative in making media tools learning during the learning process takes place.

Abstract

Seeing the rapid development of science and technology in today's world requires us to keep up with the development of science and technology. Especially in the field of informatics technology such as computers and websites, computers are the most advanced technological development media that are widely used by the general public for processing data with supporting software contained in the computer itself. In this era of globalization, the progress of information technology is very rapid, we can find information easily by utilizing internet facilities. The website is one of the clear evidence of the development of computer technology, where the website is a service that can be accessed by any media. Kerawan Trade Village is a village located in Tanjung Morawa sub-district, Deli Serdang district, North Sumatra province, where in the Kerawan trade village there are several hamlets in it. Many activities are carried out by the people who live in the Kerawan trade village such as youth organizations, UKM activities or products and handicrafts produced by the local community. Every activity, product or handicraft produced should be published to the general public in order to increase the selling value of the Kerawan Trading Village or the sale of products or crafts. Kerawan trading village apparatus has planned the development of rural areas as one of the foundations for village economic growth in the long term by relying on the resources available in the village, one of which is the existence of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). So we need a media called the village website as a place or promotional media about all forms of activities carried out by people who live in the Kerawan trade village. The village website is an online-based portal or site in which there is public information about village activities, both in terms of administrative, social, cultural, institutional and other information related to the village. The implementation team has succeeded in creating and also building a Website for Desa Dagang Kerawan. Village officials and also the people of Dagang Kerawan Village have a website as a medium for promoting activities, products and also crafts produced by the local community. Village officials and also the people of Dagang Kerawan Village can manage and understand the benefits of the website.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs is that there is a discrepancy in employee acceptance data in the past by selecting employees with an attitude of not objectivity to recruiting employees. And there are still many employees who do not fit the position with the same knowledge so that when the selection of employees is not appropriate so that they are not driven forward, it will have an impact on other operations. This is certainly not very good because it can affect the smooth operation and inappropriate goals. Therefore we need an Employee Decision Support System so that this method is considered not objective because it is not in accordance with employee data. Based on these problems, it is necessary to build a Decision Support System (DSS) to support the employee recruitment process, by applying the WASPAS method. The application of the WASPAS method will be able to provide the best solution for the company in recruiting employees based on predetermined criteria. The method used in this Decision Support System is the WASPAS method, because it is very suitable for hiring employees on CV. Abstract

Recommendations for employee recruitment are a fact that in an organization is always open. With recommendations for employee recruitment, new jobs and other activities are created. PT. Pegadaian (Persero) is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) in the financial sector which operates in three corporate businesses, including financing, gold and various services. PT. Pegadaian annually recruits new employees, which in the employee recruitment process here at PT. Pegadaian also recruits employees with disabilities. Disabled employees are employees who have mental, physical limitations and have extensive intellectual and sensory knowledge for a long period of time so that interacting with the environment and society can encounter obstacles that make it difficult for them to participate fully based on equal rights. The solution to the problem above is to build a decision support system for hiring disabled employees at PT. Pawnshop. The method chosen to support solving the problem above is the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method, namely by giving weight to each available alternative option. This research produces a decision support system that can recommend the acceptance of employees with disabilities at PT. Pegadaian uses the Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) method. A trial was carried out by entering a data sample of 15 (fifteen) employees with disabilities. With the decision support system, it can provide recommendations for accepting disabled employees at PT Pegadaian based on ranking, from 15 candidates for hiring disabled employees based on the largest ranking: Alternative 1 with a value of 0.9645, Alternative 2 with a value of 0.9139, and Alternative 3 with a value of 0. 9101

Abstract

Keberhasilan petugas inseminator sangat ditentukan oleh sinergitas peran dan fungsi masing-masing unit kerja di Puskeswan Kota Subulussalam, serta aktivitas petugas teknis di lapangan. Peran petugas inseminator merupakan salah satu faktor utama keberhasilan program yang diukur dari angka kehamilan dan kelahiran. Puskeswan yaitu Pusat Kesehatan Hewan yang memberikan pelayanan di bidang kesehatan hewan di Subulussalam Permasalahan yang terjadi di Puskesmas Subulussalam setiap tahunnya adalah menyeleksi inseminator terbaik guna meningkatkan apresiasi kinerja para inseminator, dalam memilih inseminator terbaik tersebut. masih kurang efektif. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penulis ingin melakukan pemilihan inseminator terbaik dengan menerapkan sistem pendukung keputusan dengan menerapkan metode ARAS karena metode ini digunakan untuk pemeringkatan sehingga masalah lebih terfokus karena berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan dan nilai bobot sehingga akan mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal dan menghasilkan keputusan yang lebih akurat dalam pemilihan inseminator terbaik di Puskeswan Kota Subulussalam.
