Abstract

This study aims to examine the Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM), Internal Environtmental Orientation (IEO), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior Environment (OCBE) in a manufacturing company in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. It is specifically aimed to identify whether there is an influence of SHRM and IEO to OCBE and to investigate  whether the IEO  moderately influences SHRM to OCBE. The respondents of this study are employees of manufacturing company from different levels and positions  from several industries. The selection of respondents is done by convenience sampling and it successfully collects 150 respondents. The results of descriptive analysis show that SHRM, IEO, and OCBE on the company they work is acceptable but it still needs improvement. In addition it is found that there is a significant positive influence of SHRM and IEO variables to OCBE. However, IEO variable does not moderately influence SHRM to OCBE.

Abstract

Giant forest ant Dinomyrmex gigas is one of the largest ants species in the world, native to the rain forests of Southeast Asia. It is known that ants have glands that produce chemical compounds that inhibit the growth of microbes. Therefore, it is necessary to deter-mine the antioxidant and antibacterial activities as well as identify the chemical compounds of D. gigas extract. D. gigas was extracted successively with n-hexane, ethanol and methanol. The antioxidant activity was evaluated by determination of the half-maximal inhibi-tory concentration (IC50) values while the antibacterial activities of the extracts were determined by measuring the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). The results exhibited that the IC50 values of n-hexane, ethanolic and methanolic extracts were 336.18±0.0984, 89.16±0.0219 and 90.72±0.0894 μg/mL respectively. The ethanolic extract exhibited the highest AAI value (0.34) followed by metha-nolic extract (0.33) and n-hexane extract (0.09). Based on AAI val-ues, the extracts were classified as moderate antioxidants. The best MIC values were 625 μg/mL for both ethanolic and methanolic ex-tracts against S. aureus, while MIC values of all extracts against E. coli were >625 μg/mL. Based on MIC values, all of the extracts presented weak activity against both S. aureus and E.coli. The GC-MS analysis showed that there are up to 30 compounds construct-ed of the ethanolic extract. Three major compounds are ethyl oleate  (29.78%), n-hexadecanoic acid (17.54%) and oleic acid (10.65%).

Abstract

The desert narrative in the Book of Numbers is often understood merely as a symbol of suffering or a test of faith for the Israelites. However, this article offers a new perspective: reading the narrative as a pattern of faith transformation that is integral and relevant to the Indonesian context. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach through contextual hermeneutics, combined with literature review. The focus is on analyzing the desert dynamics—from complaints, divine guidance, purification, renewal, to recontextualization—and relating it to the experience of the church in Indonesia facing a “social desert,” namely economic crisis, marginalization, environmental degradation, and the challenges of secular modernity. The study results find that, first, the desert narrative is understood not merely as an individual spiritual dimension. It exists as a collective, ecological, and missional framework that connects faith with community life. Second, this research brings together the Old Testament text with Indonesian contextual theological discourse, thus producing a model of faith transformation that can be used as a practical paradigm for local churches in formulating a wilderness spirituality that is relevant to contemporary socio-economic, ecological and religious realities and practices.

Abstract

General Background Collaboration skills are essential competencies in contemporary education, particularly within problem-based and interactive learning environments. Specific Background Problem-Based Learning integrated with deep learning and differentiated approaches has been proposed to support meaningful engagement and teamwork among vocational students. Knowledge Gap However, empirical evidence on how differentiated PBL combined with deep learning systematically strengthens collaboration skills in formal vocational education remains limited. Aims This study aims to examine the application of differentiated PBL with deep learning to strengthen students’ collaboration skills through iterative classroom action cycles. Results The findings show a progressive increase in collaboration skills from 30.22% in the first cycle to 87.21% in the third cycle, accompanied by improved teaching quality from 46% to 87%, indicating a strong positive relationship between instructional quality and collaborative performance. Novelty The study introduces the integration of differentiation across material, process, and product within PBL and combines qualitative and quantitative observations in a vocational classroom context. Implications These results highlight the importance of adaptive instructional design, learning style mapping, and structured group interaction to foster inclusive, collaborative learning aligned with 21st-century competencies. Highlights• Progressive cycles demonstrate substantial growth in cooperative performance indicators• Adaptive grouping and varied learning products support inclusive participation dynamics• Instructional quality aligns consistently with improved teamwork engagement KeywordsCollaboration Skills; Problem Based Learning; Differentiated Learning; Deep Learning; Vocational Education

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify and analyze the acquisition of Sundanese language for children at the age of 4-6 years. Based on the theory of Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM) which reveals that children aged 4-6 years are able to understand and mastering universal semantic features and the primitive meaning in the process of acquiring semantics by children. This study discusses two important points 1) How to represent the acquisition of morphology of Sundanese language in children aged 4-6 years 2) How to represent the primitive meaning of children aged 4-6 years. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that: First, the mastery of Sundanese vocabulary for children aged 4-6 is dominated by verbs (44,07%) and followed by nouns (42,42%). Second, the primitival representation of meanings that have been produced by children 4-6 years has been able to reach 57 primitiva meanings from a total of 60 primitivative meanings in their speech. The primitivative meanings that are not produced by the child are the words NGALAKUKEUN ‘MELAKUKA’',RUPA 'MACAM' and BAGIAN ‘BAGEAN’ the non-appearance of meaning is caused by cognitive and knowledge limitations in the child. This research provide a contribution as a reference in planning Sundanese language learning in children in determining the design and curriculum for basic-level Sundanese language teaching. The conclusion of this research is, based on the results of the research that the vocabulary production of children aged 4-6 years is dominated by verbs, besides that, the meanings that the children have mastered are about 57 primitivas of a total of 60 primitiva
