Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Hiang Village, Setinjau Laut District, face challenges of limited visibility and market access due to the minimal utilization of digital technology. This low technology adoption is caused by a lack of knowledge, skills, and awareness regarding the potential of digital marketing. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of MSME owners in utilizing Google Maps as a tool to increase their business visibility. The method employed was a participatory counseling approach, which included three stages: planning, implementation (consisting of socialization, theoretical presentation, and hands-on practice), and evaluation (through a post-test, feedback, and monitoring). The results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, with over 90% passing the post-test. Moreover, there was a high rate of technology adoption, with 84% of participants successfully registering their businesses on Google Maps after the training. It is concluded that this outreach activity was effective in empowering MSMEs, providing a practical solution to the visibility problem, and serving as a strategic first step in bridging the digital divide in rural areas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction at the Motor Safari Workshop in Pelalawan Regency. To achieve this goal, a research was conducted using a sample of 89 people, using a simple random sampling method (accidental random sampling). The data analysis method used simple linear regression. Based on the results of the partial t-test test, it was obtained that Service Quality had a significant effect on customer satisfaction at the Safari Motor Workshop, this was proven based on the t-test found that t-count was greater than t-table (12,423 > 1,988). The value of R. Square (R2) of 0.640 (64%) explains that the service quality variable contributes to customer satisfaction at the Safari Motor Workshop by 64%. While the remaining 36% describes other independent variables that were not observed in this study

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing intensive assistance to members of the Tourism Awareness Group (POKDARWIS) in Muara Jalai Village, North Kampar District, Kampar Regency, related to ecotourism management. This assistance included socialization, training, and evaluation of local resource potential. The methodology applied in this activity was direct socialization to the community. The main target of this community service activity was POKDARWIS members who were actively involved in the management of the tourist village. Group members were provided with training, socialization, assistance, and empowerment programs in order to optimize ecotourism management. The results of the community service show high motivation among members of the tourism awareness group in designing ecotourism management strategies, developing facilities according to needs, maintaining tourism assets, and promoting and empowering the economy of the community around tourist attractions.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberikan pendampingan intensif kepada anggota Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) di Desa Muara Jalai, Kecamatan Kampar Utara, Kabupaten Kampar, terkait tata kelola ekowisata. Pendampingan ini mencakup kegiatan sosialisasi, pelatihan, serta evaluasi potensi sumber daya lokal. Metodologi yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi langsung kepada masyarakat. Sasaran utama kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah anggota POKDARWIS yang secara aktif terlibat dalam pengelolaan desa wisata. Anggota kelompok diberikan pembekalan berupa pelatihan, sosialisasi, pendampingan, serta program pemberdayaan dalam rangka optimalisasi pengelolaan ekowisata. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya motivasi yang tinggi dari anggota kelompok sadar wisata dalam merancang strategi pengelolaan ekowisata, pengembangan fasilitas sesuai kebutuhan, pemeliharaan aset wisata, serta promosi dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat di sekitar objek wisata.

Abstract

 Mail management is one of the administrative activities that plays an important role in maintaining smooth communication and documentation in an organization. However, many agencies still use manual methodsin recording, distribution, and storing letters, so there are often obstacles such as process delays, recording errors, and difficulties in tracing archives. This research aims to design a website-based mail administration system as a solution to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the mail management process. The design method uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) to model functional needs and process flows in a structured manner through use case, activity, sequence, and class diagrams. The results of the design show that the proposed system is ableto provide a more organized, accessible, and well-documented mail management mechanism. With UML modeling support, system designs become clearer, standardized, and easier to develop. This research is expected to be the basis for the implementation of a digital mail administration system that supports the improvement of the qualityof administrative services in various institutions.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on children's social lives, particularly through the increasingly widespread use of smartphones at an early age. The phenomenon of smartphone addiction in children has become a complex social and psychological issue because it affects their behavior, communication patterns, and social relationships within the family, school, and peer environment. This study aims to systematically examine the effect of smartphone addiction on changes in children's behavior, communication, and social relationships using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review process was conducted based on the PRISMA protocol on scientific literature published between 2019 and 2025, encompassing 27 selected articles from various academic databases. The analysis results indicate that smartphone addiction impacts increased impulsive behavior, decreased face-to-face interactions, impaired family communication, and reduced empathy and social engagement in children. Key risk factors include weak parental control, social pressure from peers, and unmet emotional needs. Conversely, family support and digital literacy have been shown to act as protective factors. This research contributes to broadening the theoretical understanding of non-substance addictive behaviors in children and provides a basis for developing family-based and educational intervention strategies to establish a healthy balance in digital technology use among children.

Abstract

This study explores the interrelation between Fiqh al-Lughah (the jurisprudence of language), Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir), and the sciences of hadith (‘Ulum al-Hadith) as three complementary disciplines in understanding Islamic religious texts. Using a qualitative library research approach, this research examines the works of M. Quraish Shihab (Tafsir al-Mishbah) and Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-‘Uthaymeen (Sharh Arba’in Nawawiyyah) to demonstrate how linguistic approaches are employed in the interpretation of the Qur’an and hadith. The findings reveal that Fiqh al-Lughah plays a crucial methodological role in uncovering the meanings of sacred texts through deep analysis of lafzh (lexical form), shighat (morphology), and dalalah (semantic indication). In Qur’anic exegesis, etymological and semantic analyses reveal both the spiritual and contextual depth of verses, while in hadith studies, rhetorical and syntactic analyses clarify the Prophet’s intended meanings. The novelty of this research lies in its conceptual integration of these three disciplines, which have traditionally been studied separately. This study proposes a new paradigm that views Fiqh al-Lughah not merely as a linguistic branch but as an epistemological foundation linking language, exegesis, and hadith into one coherent methodological framework. Hence, Fiqh al-Lughah emerges as an essential scientific instrument that safeguards the authenticity of Islamic texts and ensures their relevance in the modern scholarly context.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan, peranserta dan potensi ekonomi dari ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang mempunyai waktu senggang sebagai pekerja di usaha pembuatan kulit lumpia. Kegiatan pengabdian diadakan di Perumahan Graha Bangun Permai Blok E-9 Desa Tarai Bangun, Kecamatan Tambang, Kabupaten Kampar, Riau. Metode pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam bentuak motivasi dan penyuluhan kepada pemilik usaha dan pekerja yang terlibat didalamnya. Hasil; peran serta IRT sebagai pekerja dapat membantu kondisi ekonomi rumah tangga, serta dapat terhindar dari kesulitan keuangan. Selain itu, peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi untuk menjadikan pembuatan kulit lumpia sebagai potensi usaha rumahan. Diharapkan pengabdian ini dapat menjadi penyemangat bagi terciptanya kemandirian ekonomi dan peningkatan pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

Current technological developments are encouraging the world of education to begin transforming into a digital-based system, which is one way to improve the effectiveness of administrative services and expand access to information in the school environment. The aim of this research is to build a website-based school portal that can be used to help deliver information while supporting academic and administrative activities. The system development process employed a waterfall approach, consisting of five phases: needs identification, system design, system development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance. The data used for this research was obtained through school observations, direct discussions with relevant school officials, and the collection of documentary data through photographs. The development of this school portal, the author hopes that the administration process and information delivery will be faster and well-documented, and can support the school digitalization process for information managers at SD Negeri 060878.
