Abstract

This research aims to determine the behavior and perceptions of the millennial generation towards sustainable use (continuance intention) both directly and when mediated by interest. This research uses a quantitative approach method by collecting data using an online questionnaire using Google Forms and distributing the questionnaire via social media. The research population was the millennial generation who used Syariah mobile banking, with 111 respondents. The collected data was then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the smarts application. The results of this study show that the influence of interest in continuous intention and millennial perception significantly influence interest in using Syariah mobile banking. In contrast, financial and online behavior does not directly impact the constant use (continuance intention) of Syariah mobile banking and the influence of economic behavior on interest. Also not significant, the results of hypothesis testing prove that millennial perceptions influence continuance intention (sustainable use), which is mediated by interest (sustainable use). In contrast, financial and online behavior, mediated by interest, do not affect continuance intention.

Abstract

Pada Perkembangan ilmu komputer saat ini, yang mayoritas kebutuhan manusia berbasis digitalisasi dan bisa diatur menggunakan teknologi. Penggunaan teknologi selalu berdampak pada perkembangan masyarakat karena teknologi selalu terupdate, bervariasi dan feksibel sehingga dapat digunakan dengan mudah. sekarang ini ilmu komputer atau teknologi dapat memberikan dampak negatif bagi masyarakat. Dikarenakan masih banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui  tentang perkembangan ilmu komputer yang berkaitan dengan teknologi di era modern saat ini. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan kontribusi serta meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam mengatasi permasalahan tentang perkembangan ilmu komputer saat ini.  Dengan adanya perkembangan ilmu komputer saat ini diharapkan dapat memberi manfaat bagi masyarakat, yang mana masyarakat sei tuan harus mampu mengetahui perkembangan ilmu komputer dan dapat mengoperasikan perangkat lunak komputer. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masayarakat adalah melaksanakan pengabdian. Sasaran dan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat Desa Sei Rotan.

Abstract

The role of the school principal in improving the implementation of school-based management is very important because the principal brings direction leadership which can determine the success of implementing school-based management, because schools have such broad authority that the presence of a leader becomes very important. The purpose of this study is to deepen the role of school principals in implementing school-based management and what improvements and improvements to the quality of school-based management look like. This research uses a qualitative approach in a descriptive form. The results of this study are that the role of school principals in improving the application of school-based management is through the application of participatory management, namely improving the quality and service of education so that MAN 1 Sungai Full can compete and produce quality graduates both academically and non-academically. School-based management will work well if school members have initiative in carrying out their work and each individual's initiative needs to be valued.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the religiosity of students engaged in religious programs compared to those who did not participate in such programs, followed by a comparative analysis of religiosity between these two groups. Utilized a comparative survey design, with 89 students from an Islamic university in Jambi Province, participating in the Religiosity among Muslims Scale through convenience sampling. Data analysis employed the Mann Whitney U Test. The research findings indicated that both students involved in religious programs and those not involved exhibited very high levels of religiosity. However, the average score of students in religious programs was higher than that of the other group. Additionally, hypothesis testing revealed no difference in the religiosity of students in both groups, suggesting no significant variations in religiosity aspects. This study hold important implications for campus-organized religious programs. It emphasized the need to maximize moral education programs in the Islamic Education curriculum, going beyond cognitive aspects. College leaders can develop and implement specialized programs, including enhancing the Islamic-based guidance and counseling services to enhance student religiosity levels. The findings indicated no disparity in the religiosity levels between students engaged in religious programs and those who are not. However, the group participating in specialized religious activities obtained a higher average score of 44.44 compared to non-participating group with an average score of 42.17. This underscored the significant role religious programs in bolstering religious knowledge, instilling moral values, and cultivating a more devout mindset.

Abstract

Online learning has become increasingly popular in the educational environment, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to describe the social presence and satisfaction of students in online learning, as well as examine the relationship between social presence and student satisfaction. A cross-sectional online study was conducted, involving 508 Indonesian and Malaysian postgraduate students from August 5 to October 2, 2023. Participants completed the social presence and student satisfaction scale developed by Gunawardena and Zittle. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, the Man-Whitney test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, and Spearman's Rank-Order Correlation using SPSS 26.00. The social presence and student satisfaction were categorized as good, as there were no items with scores below average. Univariate analysis indicated that the online learning experience and the quality of the network in the place of residence were determining factors for the differences between the variables, while other characteristics, including the country (Indonesia and Malaysia), showed no significant differences. Correlation analysis indicated a positive relationship between social presence and student satisfaction. This research has important implications for improving the quality of online learning. Universities should consider revising their curriculum to be more ICT-friendly, helping students become familiar with using the platform. Educational policies should also focus on training and developing educators to effectively implement online learning. Additionally, government support is crucial in realizing high-quality online learning.

Abstract

The RQA (reading, questioning, and answering) learning model is an active learning model that emphasizes reading, asking, and answering. This study aims to determine the application of reading, questioning, and answering (RQA) learning strategies in improving student learning outcomes in class XI SMA N 6 Kerinci. This research is a type of quantitative research with experimental methods. The research population came from class XI SMA N 6 Kerinci, amounting to 44 people. The sample came from class XI MIPA 2, which amounted to 22 people. The sampling technique in this research is the random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of observation and tests. The test is used to see student learning outcomes using reading, questioning, and answering (RQA) learning strategies. The research instrument is a test in the form of objective questions totalling 30 items carried out for validity, reliability, difficulty index and discriminatory power. Data analysis technique using T-test and N-Gain. The results showed that 1) the results of the study before applying the RQA strategy the highest score of students was 70 and the lowest score was 40 with an average pretest score of 51.59, 2) student learning outcomes after implementing the RQA learning strategy obtained the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 65 with the result the average posttest is 78.18, 3) there is a significant difference in the application of the RQA strategy in improving student learning outcomes in class XI SMA N 6 Kerinci. Keywords:   Strategy of RQA, Learning Outcomes,

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and training on the performance of tourism object managers. This research is a quantitative research using SPSS 25 to process data. This research was conducted on tourism objects in Kampar Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. The sample was calculated using the Slovin formula where 48 respondents were selected. The results showed that from the results of the partial test (t test), there were two variables, namely work motivation and training had a positive and significant effect on the performance of tourism object managers. also that 52.8% the influence of independent variables (motivation and training) on ​​the performance of managers is 52.8% and the remaining 47.2% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

Transformasi lembaga pendidikan Islam di Indonesia subur terjadi pada masa akhir pemerintahan penjajah Belanda di Indonesia karena dua hal utama, yaitu sikap diskriminatif pemerintah Belanda terhadap kaum pribumi akan pendidikan dan munculnya pan-Islamisme dan melahirkan pola dan sistem pendidikan Islam yang modern. Artikel ini membahas mengenai transformasi lembaga pendidikan Islam dan berfokus pada kajian perkembangan madrasah dari masa ke masa di Indonesia. Artikel ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu heuristik, kritik, interpetasi dan historiografi dengan menggunakan teori challenge and respons yang dipopulerkan oleh Arnold Joseph Toynbee. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti halnya madrasah sudah ada sejak zaman Nabi Muhamamd Saw. dan para sahabat yang menjadikan masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam. Sehingga pada perkembangan berikutnya lahirlah masjid khan yaitu masjid yang mempunyai fasilitas asrama bagi para penuntut ilmu. Lalu pada zaman kejayaan Islam dengan dibangunnya madrasah-madrasah di Naisaphur Iran dan Madrasah Nidzamiyah di Bagdad. Adapun madrasah masuk ke Nusantara pada abad ke-20 atau pada masa akhir penjajahan Belanda di Indonesia, dikarenakan umat Islam Indonesia mengalami sikap diskriminatif oleh pemerintah Belanda dan munculnya gerakan pan-Islamisme sehingga pada masa tersebut umat Islam Indonesia mendirikan madrasah-madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam selain dari pesantren. Setelah Indonesia merdeka madrasah diakomodasi oleh pemerintah melalui Departemen Agama (sekarang Kementerian Agama) dan melahirkan banyak kemajuan bagi dunia pendidikan Islam di Indonesia

Abstract

Pada Desa Sei Rotan profil desa proses pengolahan data dilakukan cara manual. Proses pengolahan profil desa seperti ini bisa mengakibatkan penyimpanan profil desa tidak aman. Maka dilakukan perancangan profil desa sei rotan berbasis website, Dalam rancangan ini terdapat rancangan sistem dan rancangan interface sistem, bahasa pemograman yang digunakan didalam sistem ini adalah bahasa pemograman php dan untuk database nya tersimpan di MySQL Xampp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang suatu sistem profil desa sei rotan, agar data yang di olah atau di input tersimpan secara aman. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Sei Rotan Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Metode yang digunakan pada peneltian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara studi literatur dan observasi. Untuk metode pengembangan sistem peneliti gunakan adalah prototype. Dilihat dari permasalahan diatas didapatlah solusi untuk mengatasinya agar data sebelum nya diolah secara tidak aman menjadi aman dan dapat diterapkan perancangan sistem profil Desa Sei Rotan. Dengan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa rancangan sistem profil desa yang dibuat oleh peneliti sangat membantu Desa Sei Rotan untuk mengakses sistem profil desa secara cepat dan aman dalam penyimpanan data.
