Abstract

This study aimed to find a correlation between the degree of tealight and the speckle image of the tea leaf by using numerical analysis and graphical analysis. Numerical analysis was done using THSP (Time History Of Speckle Patterns), COM (Co-occurrence Matrix), IM (Inertia Moment), and AVD (Average Value of Difference) values. The numbers used in the study showed that THSP and correlation measurements showed changes in the biological activity of tea leaves at all wilting levels. Meanwhile, the IM and AVD values showed significant changes after the tea leaves withered by 57.56%. COM analysis did not show any changes from high to low levels. THSP and correlation measurement showed changes in biological activity in tea leaves. Biological activity was high at high water content, and biological activity decreased as the water content in tea leaves decreased.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the content validity of an AI-based automatic assessment system for scientific literacy instruments on green chemistry integrated with ethnochemistry using Aiken’s V index. The research design adopts the R&D model with the ADDIE approach, limited to the analysis, design, and development stages. A combination of quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods was utilized through purposive sampling, engaging 10 experts—chemistry education lecturers from UNS, UNY, UM, and high school chemistry teachers in Surakarta. Data were obtained through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), focusing on three aspects: context, language, and construct. Essay-based instrument items were rated using four relevance categories: irrelevant, less relevant, quite relevant, and relevant. Items with an Aiken index ≥ 0.73 were considered valid. The results showed that 1 question item had moderate validity and 14 question items had high validity, making them suitable for further testing. The questions were designed to assess students’ understanding of green chemistry principles and their ability to relate these to ethnochemistry practices—local cultural knowledge that supports sustainability. The formulation of the questions also demonstrated how the application of local culture can be interpreted through green chemistry to enhance scientific awareness and environmental responsibility. Based on the content validation results and subsequent revisions, the instrument is deemed ready to move forward to the limited trial stage.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the impact of teaching methods and learning facilities on student academic achievement, considering learning motivation as a variable that moderates this relationship. This research adopted a quantitative approach using a survey method, involving 245 students as respondents selected through Proportional Random Sampling. The results of the path analysis indicated that teaching style has a significant influence on learning outcomes (p=0.000), as do learning facilities, which also showed a significant influence (p=0.002). Collectively, both variables made a significant contribution to learning outcomes (p=0.000; F = 58.337). Although learning motivation did not serve as a moderating variable in the relationship between teaching style and learning outcomes (t=1.865), it was proven to moderate the relationship between learning facilities and learning outcomes (t=2.542). These findings confirm that learning facilities and motivation make important contributions to the improvement of students' academic achievement. Therefore, students are expected to maximize their use of available learning facilities and enhance their internal motivation. On the other hand, the role of the teacher remains crucial in developing adaptive and effective learning approaches. To broaden the understanding of the factors that influence learning outcomes, future research is recommended to explore other relevant variables.

Abstract

Dalam sebuah acara seminar nasional, evaluasi kepuasan peserta menjadi aspek penting untuk menilai keberhasilan acara dan mengusulkan perbaikan di masa mendatang. Salah satu metode evaluasi yang umum digunakan adalah survei online, yang sering kali mencakup pertanyaan terbuka (open-ended) agar peserta dapat menyampaikan opini dan pengalaman mereka secara bebas. Namun, respons survei open-ended bersifat tidak terstruktur, sehingga analisis manual menjadi kurang efektif karena memerlukan banyak waktu dan rentan terhadap subjektivitas. Analisis mendalam terhadap respons survei open-ended diperlukan untuk memahami opini peserta mengenai kualitas acara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan sentimen dan mengidentifikasi aspek utama dalam respons survei open-ended dari peserta seminar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) untuk topic modeling, dan Support Vector Machine (SVM) untuk klasifikasi sentimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi SVM dan teknik resampling Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) menghasilkan performa terbaik dengan akurasi 85%, Precision 0.78, Recall 0.88, dan F1-Score 0.81. Analisis LDA berhasil mengidentifikasi 9 topik utama yang mencerminkan aspek penting dalam respons peserta, dengan mayoritas sentimen yang ditemukan bersifat positif, terutama dalam topik Manfaat atau Materi.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to examine the matter of training with the achievement of metacognitive knowledge categorized by HOTS. The research data focuses on the training of the dimension of metacognitive knowledge of HOTS in the books of seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The data collection techniques used are documentation and field notes. The results showed that the dimension of metacognitive knowledge in junior high school students' books was the metacognitive subtype of self-knowledge. Metacognitive knowledge in seventh and ninth grader students is trained through literacy activities and identified as a sub-type of self-knowledge based on the object phrases that wants students to choose books based on their interests and usefulness. The book for eighth grade students metacognitive self-knowledge is trained through reflection on learning material that has been learned. The questions categorized HOTS in eighth grade are marked with question words and verbs, and ninth grade are marked with question words. A slight difference is seen in seventh grade which is marked with nouns in the format of assignments in the form of tables.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that is rooted in the womb. Factors such as maternal nutritional status, iron tablet consumption, ANC visits, and diet play a role in the baby's body length at birth, which is an early indicator of stunting risk. Analyze the factors that affect the baby's body length at birth as a predictor of stunting risk. This cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted in January – March 2024, involving 250 postpartum mothers on the first day at several TPMBs and hospitals with purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and checklists of KIA books and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. The average body length of babies is 47.2 ± 2.1 cm, with 35% of babies at risk of stunting. Bivariate analysis showed that maternal nutritional status (p = 0.002), iron tablet consumption (p = 0.005), ANC (p < 0.001), and diet (p = 0.001) had a significant relationship with infant body length. Multivariate analysis showed that ANC had the greatest influence (B = 0.25, p < 0.001), followed by diet, maternal nutritional status, and iron tablet consumption (R² =0.52). Adequate ANC, good nutritional status, a balanced diet, and adherence to the consumption of iron tablets play a role in preventing babies born with a body length at risk of stunting. Optimization of ANC services and nutrition education for pregnant women is needed to prevent stunting from an early age   Abstrak Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang berakar sejak dalam kandungan. Faktor seperti status gizi ibu, konsumsi tablet zat besi, kunjungan ANC, dan pola makan berperan dalam panjang badan bayi saat lahir, yang menjadi indikator awal risiko stunting. Menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi panjang badan bayi saat lahir sebagai prediktor risiko stunting. Penelitian kuantitatif cross-sectional ini dilakukan pada Januari – Maret 2024, melibatkan 250 ibu nifas hari pertama di beberapa TPMB dan rumah sakit dengan purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan checklist buku KIA serta dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Rata-rata panjang badan bayi 47,2 ± 2,1 cm, dengan 35% bayi berisiko stunting. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa status gizi ibu (p = 0,002), konsumsi tablet zat besi (p = 0,005), ANC (p < 0,001), dan pola makan (p = 0,001) memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan panjang badan bayi. Analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa ANC memiliki pengaruh terbesar (B = 0,25, p < 0,001), diikuti pola makan, status gizi ibu, dan konsumsi tablet zat besi (R² = 0,52). ANC yang cukup, status gizi baik, pola makan seimbang, dan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet zat besi berperan dalam mencegah bayi lahir dengan panjang badan berisiko stunting. Optimalisasi layanan ANC dan edukasi gizi ibu hamil diperlukan untuk pencegahan stunting sejak dini

Abstract

Gender selalu menjadi pembahasan yang menarik di berbagai kalangan. Terdapat berbagai macam perbedaan pandangan dalam menginterpretasikan makna gender. Penelitian ini secara umum membahas bagaimana pandangan Al-Quran mengenai pembahasan Gender dan secara khusus akan fokus kepada pembahasan bagaimana kedudukan perempuan dalam Sanksi Amal. Jenis penelitian ini penelitian kepustakaan atau library Research yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an dan literatur-literatur yang berkaitan dengan persoalan kesetaraan gender dengan pendekatan metode tematis. Dari penelitian didapatkan bahwasanya al-Qur’an dan Islam memuliakan perempuan. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa antara laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki kedudukan yang sama di sisi Allah, sebagaimana yang terdapat dalam ayat-ayat yang Al-Qur’an yang secara jelas menerangkan dan menegaskan hal ini. Antara laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki hak dan kewajiban yang sama dalam masalah amal dan sanksi, baik laki-laki ataupun perempuan akan mendapatkan pahala ataupun sanksi berdasarkan setiap amalan yang dilakukannya, jika amal shalih yang dilakukannya maka Allah akan membalasnya dengan pahala dan keridhaan baik dalam kehidupan di dunia maupun di akhirat kelak. Begitu pula sebaliknya, apabila amal buruk yang dikerjakannya, maka yang akan di dapatkannya berupa balasan yang jelek juga, perbuatan baik ataupun perbuatan buruk yang dilakukan oleh seorang laki-laki ataupun perempuan sama-sama akan mendapatkan balasan yang setimpal, karena Allah tidak pernah membedakan antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalam masalah ini.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the perceptions of mathematics education students regarding the use of the Canva whiteboard and a conventional whiteboard in mathematics learning. This research is driven by the necessity to employ digital media in remote learning and limited classroom space, as well as the goal to evaluate the effectiveness of digital media compared to conventional methods. There were 29 participants, 13 males and 16 females, all from the 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters. The subjects were selected using a total sampling technique, involving all active students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at STKIP Tanjungpura in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The quantitative descriptive approach with within-subjects design was used since all respondents participated in learning with both media. The instrument was a 15-item Likert scale questionnaire covering seven indicators: clarity of explanation, visualization of abstract concepts, focus and concentration, interaction and discussion, ease of note-taking, re-access of materials, and overall understanding. Analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and paired t-test. The findings indicated that Canva whiteboard was significantly superior in re-access materials as well as ease of note-taking, while the conventional whiteboard was significantly superior in interaction and discussion. Other indicators did not show significant differences. These findings suggest the implementation of a blended media approach, specifically combining Canva and conventional to strengthen visualization and accessibility.

Abstract

UMKM play a central role in driving local economies, yet they often face challenges in building a strong product identity and effectively expanding market access. This study aims to identify and analyze strategies that can be implemented to strengthen product identity and market access for UMKMs, using a case study of the "Raja Basreng" UMKM in Tapos 1 Village, Tenjolaya District, Bogor Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through field observations, direct interviews with UMKM owners, and documentation of production and marketing activities. The results indicate that Raja Basreng possesses strong product flavor and name characteristics, but has not yet developed a comprehensive branding strategy. The product identity remains latent, not optimally conveyed through visual elements (packaging, logo, and design), narrative (product story), or consumer experience. Furthermore, market access remains geographically limited due to the dominance of offline sales and minimal utilization of digital channels such as social media or marketplaces. This study recommends the importance of an integrated branding approach with a digital marketing strategy to effectively convey product value and reach a broader market. Awareness of the importance of building product identity is not merely an aesthetic necessity, but a long-term investment in building image, consumer loyalty, and sustainable competitiveness. The implications of this research not only impact the economic empowerment of UMKMs but also open up new opportunities for developing local potential based on narrative and technological strengths.

Abstract

Waste is one of the most pressing environmental issues, occurring not only in urban areas but also in rural areas, including Tapos 1 Village, Bogor Regency. Low public awareness of waste sorting and management leads to widespread indiscriminate waste disposal, which impacts environmental pollution and health. This study aims to analyze community education strategies through outreach activities to increase awareness, participation, and innovation in waste management in Tapos 1 Village. The method used was descriptive qualitative, supported by a literature review. Data were obtained through field observations, informal interviews with residents and village officials, and documentation of outreach activities. These data were then analyzed narratively using an inductive approach. The results showed changes in community behavior following the outreach, including increased awareness of separating organic and inorganic waste, active involvement in community service activities and composting, and the emergence of creative economy initiatives based on recycling. However, challenges remain, particularly related to behavioral inconsistencies and limited infrastructure. This study confirms that participatory outreach is effective in fostering collective awareness, building community engagement, and opening up opportunities for a circular economy. This research contributes to providing an applicable and collaborative educational strategy model to support sustainable village-based waste management.
