Abstract

The test instrument is a measuring tool in the assessment process used to obtain information in the form of data on student learning outcomes, both cognitive aspects and thinking skills. The use of test instrument to measure students' thinking skills is still rarely used. This study aims to develop an essential thinking test instrument using the Presseisen taxonomy on valid and reliable ecosystem material. This research uses the Research Development (RD) method with the 3D modified development model combined with the test development stages consisting of 6 stages. Data collection in this research was carried with interviews, tests, and test instrument validation sheets. The analysis included content validity analysis, interrater reliability, and Rasch model analysis. The results showed that all items were valid based on content validity. Interrater reliability has a value of 0.783 with a good category. All items are declared fit, but item number 7 contains bias so it needs to be discarded. Cronbach's alpha has a value of 0.68 in the enough category, person reliability has a value of 0.50 in the weak category, and item reliability has a value of 0.99 in the excellent category. The item difficulty level group consists of 2 very difficult questions, 4 difficult questions, 2 easy questions, and 2 very easy questions. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that there are 9 items that are declared valid and reliable for use.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of learning media using TikTok videos with village-city interaction material on geography learning outcomes for students at SMAN 9 Pontianak. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The form of experiment used was One-Group Pretest-Posttest and a class XII sample of 20 students. Data analyzed using pretest and posttest are presented in bar charts and data management uses SPSS. The results of the Paired Samples Statistics Test show that the average for the pretest is 46.75 and the posttest is 87.80, so there is a fairly large increase between the average value of the pretest and posttest. The results of the Paired Samples Test show a significance value of 0.000, which is smaller than 0.005. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the TikTok video learning media, village-city interaction material on geography learning outcomes for students at SMAN 9 Pontianak.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between students' disciplinary attitudes and student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is experimental research analysis. This research uses the Pearson correlation (product moment) test. The data collection instrument is through final semester grades with a sample size of 30 people. Based on data testing using the Pearson correlation test, the sig value was obtained. 0.000 < 0.05 which indicates that there is a relationship between students' discipline attitudes and student learning outcomes, and has a degree of relationship of 0.603 which is categorized as a strong relationship. So from this description it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between students' disciplinary attitudes on the informatics learning outcomes of class XF students at SMAN 9 Pontianak and this relationship has a strong status.

Abstract

AI-powered tools are increasingly used in English language learning. Still, few studies have validated the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in assessing Indonesian students' responses to ChatGPT and the influence of academic level. This study aimed to evaluate the validity and reliability of a TAM-based questionnaire and examine the role of academic level in these responses. This study utilized a quantitative survey design. The research subjects consisted of 448 university students in West Kalimantan through stratified random sampling. The data collection method was an online survey administered through Google Forms. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) confirmed the construct validity and reliability of the TAM components. Statistical analysis showed that academic level significantly influenced Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Perceived Usefulness (PU), Attitude Toward Use (ATU), and Behavioral Intention (BI), although with a small effect size. Senior students reported higher perceived usefulness and intention to use ChatGPT, while first-year students showed lower engagement, indicating that academic progression influences AI adoption. These findings highlight the need for structured AI literacy programs, especially rapid writing skills training, to increase student engagement.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students in the subject of Social Science. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design method, involving both a control group (lecture-based teaching model) and an experimental group (TGT cooperative learning model). The research yielded results indicating that there was no significant influence of the conventional learning model on learning outcomes, as evidenced by the asymptotic significance (2-tailed) value of 0.053 which means that is higher than 0.05. Furthermore, the study demonstrated a significant influence of the TGT learning model with an asymptotic significance (2-tailed) value of 0.000 which is lower than 0.05. The research findings indicate that the TGT model has a significantly greater impact on students’ social science learning outcomes compared to the conventional learning model, with an effect size of 0.368, which falls into the medium category

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of the discovery learning teaching model on the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students in the subject of Social Studies. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving both a control group (lecture-based teaching model) and an experimental group (discovery learning model). The research yielded results that indicated no significant influence of the lecture-based learning model on learning outcomes, as evidenced by the paired sample t-test with a two-tailed significance value of 8.728, which is higher than 0.05. Furthermore, the study demonstrated a significant influence of the discovery learning teaching model on students' learning outcomes, as confirmed by the Wilcoxon test, which showed a two-tailed significance value of 0.016, lower than 0.05. This research finding also indicated a significant impact of the discovery Learning teaching model on learning outcomes, with an effect size of 0.977, categorizing it as a medium effect
