Abstract

The intention of this article is to report one of Pejuang Muda program called Team Based Project in the form of empowering a poor family. After going through the stages of observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires on problems to all sub-districts in the Sukabumi Regency area, it was determined that the program to be implemented by the Pejuang Muda of Sukabumi Regency was a humanitarian program in the form of provision to be given to Mrs. Kokob and Mr. Eman, a person with disabilities. The Poor Families empowerment program was implemented on the 16th of December 2021 in Darussalam Village RT 8 RW 6 Bantargadung Regency Sukabumi Regency West Java. The result shows that 1) The target of this program can be achieved properly according to planning and expectations. 2) Through this program Ibu Kokob can run a stall so that she can earn money from it for helping their daily needs. 3) The team of Pejuang Muda of Sukabumi Regency succeeded in conducting the Team Based project as one of the programs of Pejuang Muda. They were able to find the problem, set the solution, and solve the problem that occurred in the society

Abstract

IoT is a technology that is currently developing. Iot is used to control an electronic device remotely through a certain device. One of the IoT supporting devices for controlling electronic devices is Telegram. This study aims to create an Internet of Things (IoT) Application System in Telegram-Based Fan Control. The method used to create this system is to apply IoT to fans using the Arduino esp8266 which is a wifi module that functions as an additional microcontroller such as Arduino so that it can connect directly to wifi and make TCP/IP connections. This tool is used as a tool to process input data that will be sent to the output device on the system. This system also consists of a relay prototype that is used to control the electric current path on the fan. The results of the study show that smart phones can also be used to control electronic devices such as fans and other electronic devices.

Abstract

Clay minerals in the oil and gas field have changed with an increase of the quantities in the middle of the oil and gas field and reduction in the edges. This reduction is the effect of micro seepage from oil and gas from the subsurface. The aims of the research is to identify the potential oil and gas seepage through clay mineral mapping. The data used where Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS with recording dated September 25, 2015. The method used in the mapping of clay minerals using the ratio of 1.55-1.75 µm (Short Wave Infrared 1) and 2.08-2.35 µm (Short Wave Infrared 2). The result of Landsat 8 OLI/TIRS data processing shows the potential of anomalies in edges of the oil and gas field. The anomaly is a change in the index value of clay minerals that tend to be lower with values 1.0 to 1.5 than the middle of oil and gas field with values 1.5 to 2.0. The potential pattern of the anomaly follows the border of the oil and gas field. Field surveys show that oil and gas field based on grain size analysis is dominated by clay-sized soil. The dominant clay minerals from X-Ray Diffraction analysis are smectite (56%) and kaolinite (6%).

Abstract

The studies regarding the effectiveness of teaching using a mobile phone on students’ vocabulary mastery are widely discussed.  While the process of how students acquire that vocabulary from a mobile phone is barely touched. That’s why the purpose of this study is to investigate the process of students acquiring English vocabulary from mobile phone use and whether the students comprehend the meaning of the vocabulary that they acquire or not. The design of this study employed study case design. The subject of this study was 7 students at a fourth-grade elementary school. The observation and interview were used for data collection. The research results demonstrated that mobile phone has great potential as an instructional tool for acquiring English vocabulary. The findings also indicated that the process of acquiring English vocabulary is caused by two factors. The first is psycholinguistic factors and the second is social factors. The finding indicated that the psycholinguistic factors hold the significant one. It can be seen from the repetition and exploration done by their own self in acquiring the English vocabulary. While the social factor such as people around them (their parents and friends) have less contribution in assisting them in acquiring the English vocabulary. Regarding the comprehension of vocabulary that they acquired, the findings suggested that three students understand and know the real meaning of most of the English vocabulary that they gained from daily mobile phone use, while the rest (four) students knew the words only based on words function without knowing the real meaning of each English word. Generally, findings clearly showed that mobile phones facilitated students in acquiring English vocabulary independently.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and document the diversity of woody plant species at the Eyang Dalem Cageur Cultural Site, Kuningan Regency. The research method involves field surveys to record the types of woody plants present, as well as data analysis to evaluate the level of diversity and distribution of species. The method used in this research is the sampling method, based on the results of the analysis of the diversity of woody plant species at the Eyang Dalem Cageur Site, Cageur Village, Darma District, Kuningan Regency, 18 types of woody plants with a total of 691 individuals from seedling level to tree level were identified. The type of plant that has an Important Value Index (INP) that dominates at the seedling level is rasamala (Altingia excelsa) with an INP of 84%, at the sapling and pole level the INP is dominated by burahol (Stelechocarpus burahol) with an INP of 69% and 118% respectively. while at tree level it is dominated by kiara (Ficus sp) with an INP of 60%. This information can be the basis for conservation and preservation of biodiversity at the Eyang Dalem Cageur Cultural Site and provide insight into the relationship between plant diversity and local cultural heritage. This research can support environmental conservation efforts and develop policies that maintain cultural and ecological values in Kuningan RegencyPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendokumentasikan keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan berkayu di Situs Budaya Eyang Dalem Cageur, Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode penelitian melibatkan survei lapangan untuk mencatat jenis-jenis tumbuhan berkayu yang ada, serta analisis data untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keberagaman dan distribusi spesies. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode sampling, berdasarkan hasil analisis keanekeragaman jenis tumbuhan berkayu di Situs Eyang Dalem Cageur Desa Cageur, Kecamtan Darma, Kabupaten Kuningan teridentifikasi 18 jenis tumbuhan berkayu dengan jumlah 691 individu dari tingkat semai samapi tingkat pohon. Jenis tumbuhan yang mempunyai Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) yang mendominasi pada tingkat semai adalah rasamala (Altingia excelsa) dengan INP 84%,pada tingkat pancang dan tiang INP didominasi oleh burahol (Stelechocarpus burahol) dengan masing-masing INP 69% dan 118%, sedangkan pada tingkat pohon didominasi oleh kiara (Ficus sp) dengan INP 60%. Informasi ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk konservasi dan pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati di Situs Budaya Eyang Dalem Cageur serta memberikan wawasan tentang hubungan antara keanekaragaman tumbuhan dan warisan budaya lokal. Penelitian ini dapat mendukung upaya pelestarian lingkungan dan pengembangan kebijakan yang mempertahankan nilai-nilai budaya dan ekologis di Kabupaten Kuningan

Abstract

This Community Service was integrated with the implementation of the KKN program of Suryakancana University in 2023, and there were several differences with the implementation of the previous community programs. This year, students are projected to do community service in the area closest to their houses, with their own work program. This Community Service aims to reintroduce English through learning English vocabulary, especially at the elementary school level, in the fifth grade, with jobs and professional material, at the public elementary school Cibitung 2 Cibokor, using flashcard media. This service involved 5 lecturers and 9 students as the team. It is hoped that this community service can make a significant contribution to improving the quality of English language learning at the elementary school level, especially at SDN Cibitung 2 as well as enriching students' learning experiences in understanding and using new vocabulary. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Rebranding, Preceived Quality, and Brand Image on Consumer Loyalty at PT. Copyright Giri Sentosa. This study used quantitative research with 100 respondents. Purposive sampling data sampling technique was collected through 100 respondents. This study used primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires online. The respondents were patients of Semen Gresik Hospital who had or are using CGS Drug Delivery Service. Then, non-probability sampling is used for sampling. In this study, it was found that there was a positive and significant influence between Quality Perception and Brand Image on Consumer Loyalty, while Rebranding had a positive but not significant influence on consumer loyalty. The results showed that the Rebranding (X1) has an insignificant effect on the variable of consumer loyalty (Y), this shows that respondents are more likely to prioritize the quality of products or services rather than just changes in the company's visual identity so that these changes do not guarantee consumers to be loyal to CGS drug delivery services. Quality perception variable (X2) has a significant effect on consumer loyalty variable (Y), This shows that the quality provided by CGS matches or even exceeds their expectations thus, making consumers give high value to the quality of service and consumers become loyal. Brand Image variable (X3) has a significant effect on Consumer loyalty variable (Y), This shows that CGS drug delivery service customers tend to have a positive perception of the CGS brand so, this can have a positive impact on customer loyalty., The conclusion is that the Rebranding variable has a positive but not significant effect, while the quality perception and Brand Image variables have a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDalam upaya mewujudkan keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing, para guru pemelajar usia dini harus dapat memahami kebutuhan siswa mereka. Mereka harus memiliki pemahaman yang menyeluruh tentang perkembangan pembelajar muda pelajaran yang efektif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa. MI An-Nur sebagai salah satu sekolah yang melaksanakan pembelajaran bilingual memerlukan peningkatan kemampuan guru baik bahasa Inggris dan pedagogis. Merujuk pada situasi tersebut, pelatihan bahasa Inggris (classroom instructions) untuk pengajaran para siswa usia dini merupakan sebuah solusi untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru Bahasa Inggris di MI An-Nur. Pelatihan tersebut dilakukan melalui sejumlah kegiatan simulasi pengajaran yang melibatkan 15 orang guru MI An-Nur beserta para dosen Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Suryakancana. Kegiatan pelatihan tersebut meliputi tiga tahapan, yaitu pra-kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, para guru MI An-Nur memperoleh wawasan dan keterampilan yang lebih baik tentang pengajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk siswa usia dini terutama mengenai classroom instruction. Dengan demikian, diharapkan para guru di MI An-Nur akan mampu melaksanakan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris yang lebih baik bagi para siswa usia dini. Kata kunci: Classroom instruction; pembelajaran bahasa Inggris; pemelajar usia dini; pelatihan ABSTRACTIn supporting the realization of English as a foreign language learning to young learners, early childhood English teachers must be able to understand the needs of their students. They must have a thorough understanding of the development of young learners in effective lessons to meet student needs. MI An-Nur as a school that implements bilingual learning requires an increase in the ability of teachers in both English and pedagogical. Referring to this situation, English language training (classroom instructions) for teaching early childhood students is a solution to improve the competence of English teachers at MI An-Nur. The training was carried out through a number of teaching simulation activities involving 15 MI An-Nur teachers and lecturers of the Suryakancana University English Education Study Program. The training activities cover three stages, namely pre-activity, implementation of activities, and evaluation of activities. Through this training activity, MI An-Nur teachers gain better insight and skills about teaching English to early childhood students, especially regarding classroom instruction. Thus, it is expected that the teachers at MI An-Nur will be able to implement better English teaching for young learner.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Periode terbaik dalam mengajarkan bahasa asing adalah pada masa anak-anak karena periode tersebut merupakan periode emas dalam pembelajaran bahasa asing khususnya bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa internasional. Oleh karenan itu, bahasa Inggris sangat penting peranannya baik dalam ruang lingkup personal, nasional maupun global. Hal ini menjadikan bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa yang wajib dipelajari oleh berbagai kalangan dan tingkatan usia tak terkecuali anak-anak. Dalam memperlajari 4 keterampilan berbahasa, yaitu menyimak, membaca, menulis, dan berbicara, terdapat salah satu elemen yang sangat vital peranannya yaitu penguasaan kosakata. Semakin banyak kosakata yang siswa miliki, maka semakin baik pula keterampilan berbahasa mereka. Oleh karena itu, urgensi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada usia dini adalah sesuatu yang tidak terelakan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam bidang pengajaran melalui pelatihan dan praktek mengajar menggunakan virtual reality (VR) dalam pengajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris, yang bertempat di SD Negeri Cipanas 2. Setelah selesai rangkaian pengajaran, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan VR dalam pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris di SD Negerti Cipanas 2 membuat pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik, efektif, dan menyenangkan. Hal tersebut terlihat dari antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif siswa ketika mengikuti pembelajaran. ABSTRACTThe best period for teaching foreign languages is during childhood because that period is a golden period in learning foreign languages, especially English as an international language. Therefore, English plays a very important role both in the personal, national, and global scope. This makes English a language that must be learned by various groups and age levels, including children. In learning the four language skills, namely listening, reading, writing, and speaking, there is one element that has a very vital role, namely vocabulary mastery. The more vocabulary students have, the better their language skills will be. Therefore, the urgency of learning English at an early age is something that is inevitable. This Community Service (PKM) aims to improve teacher competence in the field of teaching through training and teaching practice using Virtual Reality (VR) in teaching English vocabulary, which takes place at SD Negeri Cipanas 2. After completing the teaching series, it can be concluded that the use of VR in learning English vocabulary at SD Negeri Cipanas 2 makes learning more interesting, effective, and fun. This can be seen from the enthusiasm and active participation of students when participating in learning.

Abstract

Keberhasilan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, khususnya di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Sebagai kontributor utama dalam penciptaan lapangan kerja dan inovasi, menjaga keberlanjutan UMKM menjadi hal yang krusial. Prediksi dini terhadap keberhasilan UMKM memungkinkan para pemangku kepentingan bisnis untuk merumuskan strategi yang tepat, meminimalkan risiko, dan meningkatkan daya saing di pasar yang dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan membandingkan kinerja dua algoritma berbasis pohon keputusan, yaitu Credal C4.5 dan Credal Decision Tree (CDT), dalam memprediksi keberhasilan UMKM. Prediksi dilakukan berdasarkan beberapa variabel penting, seperti modal awal, pengalaman kewirausahaan, strategi pemasaran, dan lokasi usaha. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 1.200 UMKM yang bergerak di sektor kuliner dan ritel dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia, yang dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak WEKA. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan teknik validasi silang 10-fold untuk memastikan keandalan dan konsistensi hasil. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Credal C4.5 mencapai tingkat akurasi yang lebih tinggi, yaitu 88,6%, dengan struktur pohon yang lebih sederhana dan waktu komputasi yang lebih cepat dibandingkan CDT yang mencatat akurasi sebesar 84,2%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Credal C4.5 lebih efektif dan praktis sebagai alat prediktif untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis berbasis data guna pengembangan UMKM yang berkelanjutan.
