Abstract

Although research on learning to write descriptive texts continues to grow, there are still few studies that systematically map the trends and directions of research related to the use of learning media. Therefore, this study aims to analyze scientific developments on the use of media in learning to write descriptive texts using a bibliometric analysis approach. Data were obtained from 200 scientific articles published on Google Scholar during the period 2020–2024, collected using the Publish or Perish application, and analyzed through VOS viewer based on quantity, quality, and structural indicators. The results of the analysis show eight main clusters of research topics, namely descriptive text writing skills, types of media, learning models, digital technology, and visual approaches to writing. The research trend has increased since 2020, with Padlet, Instagram, and serial images being the dominant media studied. However, after 2023, no new prominent trends have been found. Density analysis shows that the topics of "media" and "writing text" are relatively dense, while "methods" and "skills" are still open for further research. Thus, this study provides a comprehensive overview of the dynamics and development of research in the use of learning media for writing descriptive texts, and is an important reference for the development of studies in this field.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management to enhance the competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through a case study of Cireng Seuhah Panyilekann, a local business specializing in traditional Sundanese snack food, cireng (fried tapioca cake). Despite its potential market, this MSME faces challenges related to product quality, distribution, and promotion. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, interviews, and direct observation of the business owners and consumers. The findings reveal that product differentiation strategy, along with a strong focus on quality and innovation in flavor varieties, plays a key role in improving competitiveness. Additionally, effective marketing management through social media and partnerships with distribution agents significantly contribute to market expansion and product visibility. By implementing the right strategies, Cireng Seuhah Panyilekann has successfully improved its position in the local market and strengthened customer loyalty.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi pengiriman internasional yang diterapkan oleh Aurra Beauty Bar, sebuah usaha mikro yang mengekspor produk kuku palsu dengan merek Aurra Nailss ke Malaysia. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Fokus utama dari kajian ini meliputi proses komunikasi, sistem transaksi, pengelolaan logistik, dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam proses pengiriman lintas batas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun beroperasi dalam skala mikro, Aurra Beauty Bar mampu berhasil dalam pengiriman internasional dengan memanfaatkan jaringan pribadi, menggunakan layanan logistik yang terpercaya (Lion Parcel), dan mengadopsi solusi pembayaran yang fleksibel seperti Wise. Tantangan terkait akses terbatas pada sistem pembayaran internasional dan hambatan komunikasi dengan pembeli berhasil diatasi melalui strategi yang adaptif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa usaha kecil memiliki potensi untuk meraih pasar internasional dengan perencanaan yang matang, adaptasi strategis, dan optimalisasi sumber daya.

Abstract

Fenomena pergeseran demografis dalam dunia kerja mendorong perusahaan untuk beradaptasi terhadap karakteristik generasi baru, khususnya Generasi Z yang kini mulai mendominasi pasar tenaga kerja. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi akuisisi calon karyawan Generasi Z dalam menghadapi tantangan turn over pegawai, dengan studi kasus pada PT Surya Toto Indonesia. Melalui wawancara mendalam, ditemukan bahwa perbedaan nilai kerja, ekspektasi karier, dan gaya komunikasi Generasi Z menjadi tantangan utama dalam proses rekrutmen dan retensi. Generasi ini menunjukkan kecenderungan pragmatis, loyalitas kerja yang rendah, namun memiliki potensi besar apabila dikelola dengan pendekatan yang sesuai. Strategi yang disarankan mencakup pengembangan program onboarding yang inklusif, sistem mentoring berkelanjutan, serta lingkungan kerja yang partisipatif dan fleksibel. Hasil penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya transformasi dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia menuju pendekatan yang lebih dinamis dan lintas generasi. Keberhasilan dalam merekrut dan mempertahankan talenta muda tidak hanya bergantung pada kompensasi material, tetapi juga pada kualitas hubungan kerja dan ruang aktualisasi diri yang disediakan oleh organisasi.

Abstract

The problems faced by madrasas in online teaching and learning activities during the emergency period can be mapped into two things, namely technical and non-technical problems. Technical problems are problems related to technical learning problems. Technical problems are divided into two, namely problems faced by students and problems faced by teachers. This research aims to find out the problems faced by madrasas with the implementation of online learning, while also wanting to find a form of solution implemented by madrasas as a way out of these problems. This research is qualitative research with the research object being Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Falah Panumbangan Ciamis. The research setting is Madrasah Aliyah Miftahul Falah Panumbangan, with research subjects being teachers and students. The results of this research show that there are a number of problems faced by teachers and students in implementing online learning. This problem is a weakness of online learning compared to face-to-face learning. So the conclusion is that online learning is only an emergency or emergency exit in an educational process. However, during normal conditions, online learning can be a reinforcement of face-to-face learning, so that learning success can be maximized.

Abstract

This research aims to improve teachers' abilities in compiling good and correct madrasa assessment questions according to the rules. The specific objectives are to identify weaknesses in the three elements of question preparation (material, construction, and language), determine the elements that most need strengthening, and carry out evaluations for improvement. The research was conducted at MAS Integrated Ar Rahman Nasol Ciamis. Clinical supervision is carried out to assess the implementation of regulations in the field and find strengths and weaknesses. The research results show that there are still many errors in preparing the questions, so further guidance and training is needed.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how monitoring and evaluation is managed in Islamic educational institutions. To find out more about this, the author conducted research at Madrasah Aliyah Persis Sindangkasih Ciamis. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The results of this research describe the management of supervision and evaluation at Madrasah Aliyah Persis Sindangkasih, which is carried out by three components, namely the head of the foundation, the head of the madrasah and the madrasah supervisor from the ministry of religion. The chairman of the foundation supervises human resources, finances, completeness of infrastructure. The principal's supervision is carried out on teaching staff and educational staff in the form of monitoring the implementation of teaching and learning activities (KBM). Meanwhile, supervision by madrasah supervisors is academic and managerial supervision. The conclusion of this research confirms that monitoring and evaluation management is absolutely necessary in any institution, including Islamic educational institutions which are the object of the author's research. The more effective the supervisory management system, the more controllable the quality and quality of the institution will be. A multi-supervision system will create a more effective control system in monitoring performance quality. This has been proven through research that supervision of the educational service process by three supervisory components, namely supervision from the head of the foundation, the head of the madrasah and the madrasah supervisor from the government can increase the effectiveness of educational services by the institution to stakeholders, namely students and parents.

Abstract

Reading, writing, and arithmetic (Calistung) are fundamental skills that are essential for elementary school students. However, many students still face difficulties in mastering these basic competencies. This study aims to describe the implementation of creative methods in Calistung learning at SDN Mekarasih and their impact on students’ literacy and numeracy skills. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that creative methods—such as word construction, number writing, number sequencing, and number comparison—successfully enhance students’ learning motivation and active participation. The study concludes that creative methods are proven effective as an instructional strategy for Calistung to foster literacy and numeracy interest among elementary school students.

Abstract

Kompetensi pedagogik guru merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang menentukan kualitas proses pembelajaran. Kompetensi ini meliputi kemampuan merancang, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran agar berjalan secara efektif serta mampu mengakomodasi kebutuhan peserta didik. Dalam konteks pembelajaran Fikih, penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik guru menjadi krusial karena berhubungan langsung dengan pemahaman siswa terhadap hukum Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MTs Persis 22 Cikalongkulon. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif, di mana kompetensi pedagogik guru ditetapkan sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan prestasi belajar siswa sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Analisis statistik digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antarvariabel secara objektif dan terukur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik guru memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Guru yang kompeten mampu memahami karakteristik siswa, menyusun rencana pembelajaran yang sistematis, melaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan efektif, serta melakukan evaluasi secara objektif sehingga berdampak positif terhadap capaian akademik siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru merupakan faktor strategis dalam mengoptimalkan prestasi belajar siswa, yang perlu didukung melalui pengembangan profesional guru, fasilitas sekolah, serta motivasi belajar siswa

Abstract

This research explores the impact of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) and risk perception on purchasing decisions within the marketplace among residents in Garut Regency. The study focuses on individuals who have engaged in shopping activities on various platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada, Bukalapak, Blibli, and others in Garut Regency. The research population consists of individuals who have actively participated in marketplace transactions, with a sample size of 96 marketplace customers. Data collection utilized two methods: online surveys via Google Form and offline surveys conducted by directly engaging respondents across various sub-districts in Garut Regency. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS Statistics 26 and SmartPLS3 applications, employing purposive sampling. The primary objective of this research is to ascertain the influence of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) and risk perception on purchasing decisions. The findings reveal that the e-WOM variable holds a substantial influence of 63% on purchasing decisions, while the risk perception variable exerts an 18.4% influence. These results demonstrate the interconnected nature of these variables, indicating that each variable can significantly impact the others.
