Abstract

This community service aimed to improve the English skills of students at Ban thama prao School in Thailand. They used the British Council’s Learn English Kids website. The program lasted four weeks and used technology-based learning for teachers and students. Starting with an introduction to the web, the activities continued with classroom learning implementation, evaluation, and reflection. The results of the program showed that students significantly improved their reading skills and increased their motivation to learn. In addition, teachers became better at using technology as a learning tool, despite barriers to internet access and technological devices. Recommendations include improving the technology infrastructure and ongoing training for teachers to ensure the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

In the digital age, technology has changed the way teachers teach and students learn, bringing both new opportunities and complex challenges to classroom management. Students now have extensive access to information through the internet, which can either support or distract them from learning. The use of devices such as computers and learning apps requires teachers' ability to integrate these technologies effectively. Many interactions between teachers and students are now online, demanding adaptations in the way we communicate and build relationships. Managing a virtual classroom requires a different approach to monitoring student attendance, participation and engagement. Digital devices can be a distraction, so it is important to keep students focused during learning. Teachers need to teach and enforce digital etiquette, including good online behavior and cybersecurity. Not all students have equal access to devices and the internet, creating gaps in learning. Therefore, teachers and students need to have adequate digital literacy to utilize technology effectively. Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive strategy, including teacher training, adaptive curriculum development and policies that support the use of technology in education. Thus, technology can be a powerful tool to improve the quality of education and prepare students for a digital future.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of using the Wordwall platform in improving student engagement and learning outcomes at the secondary school level. The research method used is a qualitative research method with an experimental approach, carried out at MA ASSULAMY Langko. The research subjects were 11 class X MA ASSULAMY Langko students. The research subjects were students' knowledge and teachers' abilities in using the Wordwall application in teaching and learning activities in the classroom using traditional learning methods and a control group. Data is collected through achievement tests, classroom observations, and student satisfaction surveys. Research shows that the use of Wordwall significantly increases student engagement and active participation during the learning process. Wordwall is a website-based application that can be used as a learning medium for interactive tests, pairs, random words, anagrams, and others. With so many features to choose from, you get versatility in providing educational materials. This application offers 18 templates that you can access for free.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh opini going concern dan financial distress terhadap auditor switching yang dilakukan perusahaan secara voluntary baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal yang menghubungkan sebab akibat dari dua atau lebih variabel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan subsektor transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2018-2022 yang berjumlah 51 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga perusahaan yang menjadi sampel sebanyak 20 perusahaan. Data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan dan tahunan yang diunduh  dari website resmi BEI yaitu www.idx.co.id. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi logistik. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial opini going concern berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap auditor switching, sedangkan financial distress tidak berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching. Secara simultan opini going concern dan financial distress berpengaruh terhadap auditor switching. Kata Kunci: Opini Going concern, Financial distress, Auditor switching   ABSTRACT   This study aims to examine the effect of going concern opinion and financial distress on auditor switching by voluntary companies both partially and simultaneously. This research includes a type of quantitative research with a causal associative method that connects the cause and effect of two or more variables. The population in this study were transportation subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022, totaling 51 companies. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique so that the companies sampled were 20 companies. The data used is secondary data in the form of financial and annual reports downloaded from the official IDX website, namely www.idx.co.id. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistical analysis and logistic regression analysis. The test results show that partially going concern opinion has a positive and significant effect on auditor switching, while financial distress has no effect on auditor switching. Simultaneously going concern opinion and financial distress affect auditor switching. Keywords : Going concern Opinion, Financial distress, Auditor switching

Abstract

This study examines the influence of the science of jarh wa ta'dil in determining the validity of qunut hadith for every subuh prayer in the Shafi'i school of thought. This study investigates how Shafi'i scholars apply the science of jarh wa ta'dil to assess the validity and authenticity of hadith and provide recommendations for Muslims in responding to qunut subuh hadith. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytic approach. Data is collected from relevant books, scientific journals, and online articles. Data analysis is carried out using content analysis methods. The results of the author's research find that the science of Jarh wa ta'dil plays a very important role for Shafi'i scholars in particular and generally for all scholars of madhhab in assessing the credibility of a sanad matan, such as analyzing the behavior of hadith narrators, piety, honesty, even more specifically such as from the quality of the narrator's memorization, and the author found that the hadiths that were used as arguments for qunut subuh by the Shafi'i madhhab could be used as hujjah, Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that a hadith nash can be used as the basis for a religious law when it is at the level of maqbul hadith, at least hasan ligoiri, and for qunut hadith in the Shafi'i school of thought it is classified as maqbul hadith so it can be used as evidence for its implementation.

Abstract

One way to acquire wealth in Islam is through inheritance, where the estate left by a deceased person is distributed to their heirs based on Islamic principles of justice. However, in practice, disputes often arise regarding the status of a civil servant's (PNS) pension upon their death-whether it should be considered inheritance (tirkah) or not. This study aims to examine the principles of inheritance in Islamic law and analyse the views of Bahtsul Masail NU and Majelis Tarjih Muhammadiyah regarding the status of civil servant pensions. This research is library-based and employs a descriptive-analytical comparative method. The findings reveal that both organisations agree that a civil servant pension is not part of the tirkah and cannot be inherited in the traditional sense, but rather belongs to designated recipients such as the spouse or children. The difference lies in their methodological approaches: NU refers to the fatwas of scholars (qaul), while Muhammadiyah relies on the general (mujmal) wording of hadith. Both organisations also agree that Indonesia's regulations on civil servant pensions are not in conflict with Islamic law

Abstract

Penyakit demam berdarah adalah penyakit yang dapat menyebabkan kematian yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue. Virus ini ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti, yang berfungsi sebagai vektor utama dalam menyebarkan penyakit demam berdarah Sebagai penyakit yang menular, demam berdarah berpotensi menjadi wabah penyakit yang menakutkan. Hal ini disebabkan karena Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit menular yang terjadi setiap tahun dan berkontribusi terhadap tingginya angka kematian di Indonesia, dengan ratusan kematian setiap tahunnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut serta permasalahan lain penulis memandang perlu adanya upaya untuk menanggulangi penyakit demam berdarah di Kampung Pendowo Asri. Penulis menawarkan program kerja PKM (Peningkatan Kesehatan masyarakat) dan Pendowo Bersih Terintegrasi. Selama musim hujan, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas vektor nyamuk yang signifikan, yang berpotensi memicu wabah dan meningkatkan risiko kematian yang lebih tinggI. Obyek kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah Kampung Pendowo Asri yang terletak di Kecamatan Dente Teladas Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan menunjukan dampak yang positif dalam pencegahan penyakit demam berdarah. Dengan berjalannya program kerja ini masyarakat menjadi lebih mengetahui cara pencegahan demam berdarah dan lingkungan yang sebelumnya banyak terdapat sampah kini menjadi bersih dan saluran pembuangan air yang mampet menjadi lancar.

Abstrak Pembelajaran bahasa arab di indonesia memiliki kesejarahan yang cukup panjang. Dari realitas kesejarahan dapat dikemukakan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa arab di indonesia dimulai sejak agama islam berkembang di indonesia pada abad ke 13. Penadapat lain ada yang m,engatakan bahwa bahasa arab masuk ke nusantara bersamaan dengan agama Islam, yaitu sekitar abad ke 7-8 Masehi.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the internalization process of religious moderation values in fostering tolerance among students at SDN 1 Seminyak Badung. The values include national commitment, tolerance, rejection of violence, and respect for local culture. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Research subjects consisted of the principal, Islamic education teacher, and fifth- and sixth-grade students. The findings reveal that religious moderation values were internalized through teacher role modeling, curriculum and extracurricular integration, an inclusive school culture, and interreligious group-based learning. These strategies successfully cultivated students’ tolerant attitudes, as reflected in respectful social interactions, acceptance of differences, and participation in interreligious and intercultural activities. The results demonstrate that primary schools play a strategic role in shaping students’ moderate character from an early age. This study also fills a gap in research on religious moderation at the elementary education level.

Abstract

Abstrak: Thailand National Children's Day merupakan perayaan tahunan yang menjadi sarana pembelajaran non-formal bagi anak-anak melalui berbagai aktivitas yang dirancang secara interaktif dan menyenangkan. Dalam kegiatan ini, mahasiswa dari Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang turut terlibat sebagai bagian dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Mahasiswa berperan sebagai fasilitator dalam sejumlah kegiatan edukatif seperti lokakarya seni, permainan edukatif, storytelling, serta pendampingan pertunjukan kelas. Keterlibatan ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, serta mendorong pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan kognitif anak-anak melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman Selama pelaksanaan, mahasiswa juga memperoleh pengalaman langsung dalam mengelola kegiatan, membangun komunikasi lintas usia, serta menyusun strategi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan partisipatif. Kegiatan ini memperlihatkan bahwa partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dalam ruang edukatif non-formal dapat memperkuat peran sosial mereka sebagai agen pembelajaran di masyarakat. Namun demikian, sejumlah tantangan turut dihadapi, mulai dari keterbatasan pengalaman, perbedaan latar belakang budaya, hingga minimnya pelatihan awal dan sarana pendukung. Diperlukan dukungan kelembagaan yang lebih kuat serta integrasi program sejenis dalam kurikulum pendidikan tinggi agar manfaat dari kegiatan semacam ini dapat diperluas dan berkelanjutan.Abstract:  Thailand National Children's Day is an annual celebration that serves as a non-formal educational platform for children through interactive and engaging activities. As part of a community service program, students from the English Education Department at Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang participated in this event by facilitating a series of educational activities such as art workshops, educational games, storytelling sessions, and class performance assistance. Their involvement aimed to foster learning motivation, build self-confidence, and support the development of children's social and cognitive skills through experience-based learning approaches. Throughout the implementation, the students gained direct experience in managing activities, engaging in intergenerational communication, and designing contextual and participatory learning strategies. The activity demonstrated that student involvement in non-formal educational settings can enhance their social role as learning facilitators in community-based environments. Nevertheless, several challenges were encountered, including limited prior experience, cultural communication gaps, and a lack of preparatory training and supporting resources. Stronger institutional support and the integration of similar programs into higher education curricula are recommended to maximize the long-term impact and sustainability of such initiatives.
