Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja lampu LED yang digunakan di Gedung D Institut Teknologi Padang, dengan fokus pada konsumsi energi, efisiensi energi, serta dampak ekonomi dan lingkungan. Data yang dikumpulkan mencakup jumlah lampu, jenis lampu, daya listrik, dan keluaran cahaya (lumen). Perbandingan dilakukan antara lampu LED dan lampu konvensional, seperti lampu TL, untuk menghitung penghematan biaya operasional dan efisiensi energy. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total daya lampu di Gedung D mencapai 2.163 watt, dengan konsumsi energi bulanan sebesar 648,9 kWh, yang setara dengan biaya listrik sekitar Rp 1.038.240 per bulan, berdasarkan tarif Rp 1.600 per kWh. Lampu LED terbukti memiliki efisiensi lebih tinggi, yaitu antara 88,89 hingga 94,44 lumen per watt, dibandingkan lampu TL yang hanya 75 lumen per watt. Dengan waktu penggunaan 10 jam per hari, lampu LED dapat bertahan hingga 17 tahun, sedangkan lampu TL hanya bertahan sekitar 5,1 tahun. Penggunaan lampu LED menghasilkan penghematan signifikan dalam hal biaya listrik dan ketahanan masa pakai, serta memberikan dampak positif terhadap lingkungan dengan mengurangi konsumsi energi dan emisi gas rumah kaca. Analisis return on investment (ROI) menunjukkan bahwa investasi pada lampu LED di Gedung D memberikan pengembalian sebesar 15% per tahun. Meskipun demikian, beberapa ruangan memerlukan penyesuaian lebih lanjut dalam jumlah lampu atau efisiensi lumen untuk mencapai tingkat pencahayaan yang optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lampu LED merupakan solusi yang lebih efisien dan ramah lingkungan dibandingkan lampu konvensional, dan berpotensi diterapkan lebih luas di berbagai gedung untuk penghematan energi yang lebih besar.

Abstract

This study explores the role of structured peer review as a pedagogical tool to enhance paragraph-level writing skills among university students in Indonesia. Academic writing remains one of the most demanding competencies for learners, particularly in producing cohesive and coherent paragraphs. In contexts where large classes and limited teacher feedback constrain the learning process, peer review offers a collaborative approach that distributes responsibility for feedback while fostering deeper engagement with writing. Employing a qualitative case study design, this research involved 25 fourth-year students in an English composition course. Data were gathered from multiple sources, including students’ writing drafts collected across several peer review cycles, classroom observations, surveys, and semi-structured interviews. This triangulated approach allowed for a rich exploration of how students’ paragraph writing developed over time and how they perceived the peer review process. The findings indicate that students demonstrated notable progress in crafting clearer topic sentences, elaborating supporting details, and producing more consistent concluding sentences. Beyond textual improvements, students reported increased confidence, greater accountability toward peers, and stronger reflective habits. These gains were facilitated by scaffolding strategies such as rubrics, checklists, and teacher modeling, which guided students to provide feedback that moved beyond surface-level corrections toward higher-order concerns of coherence and unity. The study concludes that structured peer review supports not only the improvement of writing products but also the cultivation of collaborative and self-regulated learning practices. As such, it underscores the potential of peer review to be integrated as a core component of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) writing instruction in higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in stock prices and abnormal returns before and after stock splits in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2022-2024. The data utilized in this study is secondary data. The population in this study were 37 companies. The method of analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results of this study show that there is no fluctuation between stock prices before and after stock splits in both the 5-day and 3-day observation periods. But there is a change in the value of the abnormal return before and after the stock split both in the 5-day and 3-day observation periods in companies listed on the IDX for the 2022-2024 period.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the readiness level of elementary school teachers in integrating the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach into thematic learning. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with 15 elementary school teachers in Bekasi Regency who had attended STEAM-related training or teaching experience. The instrument used was a Likert-scale questionnaire covering three aspects of readiness: knowledge, attitude, and skills. The results showed that most teachers were categorized as ready in knowledge and attitude, but only moderately ready in skills, particularly in designing and implementing STEAM-based project learning. Factors influencing teacher readiness include training experience, school facilities, and access to digital learning resources. The study recommends continuous professional development and mentoring programs to enhance teachers’ capacity in implementing STEAM effectively within thematic learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan pada UMKM penjual kue tradisional di Bekasi yang masih menggunakan metode manual dalam promosi dan proses pemesanan sehingga jangkauan pasar terbatas dan pencatatan transaksi belum terdokumentasi secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun website pemesanan yang dapat digunakan sebagai media promosi digital, platform pemesanan online, dan pengelolaan data pelanggan. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Teknologi yang digunakan meliputi PHP, MySQL, HTML, dan CSS. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat menampilkan katalog produk, memfasilitasi pemesanan secara online, serta mempermudah admin dalam mengelola data pesanan dan produk. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode Black Box Testing menunjukkan seluruh fungsi berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Sistem ini terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi pencatatan transaksi serta memperluas jangkauan promosi digital bagi UMKM.

Abstract

Penilaian kinerja karyawan merupakan aspek penting dalam mendukung pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Proses penilaian secara manual sering menimbulkan permasalahan seperti keterlambatan pengolahan data, subjektivitas, dan kesulitan dalam penyimpanan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi penilaian kinerja karyawan berbasis web yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem dibangun dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL, dengan kriteria penilaian yang ditetapkan berdasarkan indikator kinerja utama perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mempercepat proses penilaian, menyajikan laporan secara otomatis, serta meningkatkan transparansi dan akurasi data. Dengan demikian, sistem ini mendukung pengambilan keputusan manajerial secara lebih objektif.

Abstract

The death of a civil servant (Pegawai Negeri Sipil, PNS) often triggers family disputes regarding the legal status of pension benefits: whether they constitute tirkah (the deceased’s estate) that must be distributed according to farā’iḍ (Islamic rules of inheritance), or whether they are entitlements designated for specific recipients under state regulations. This divergence in understanding may lead to intra-family conflict, particularly when pension benefits are perceived as “the fruits of one’s labor” and thus assumed to be distributable as inheritance, even though the state pension scheme for widows/widowers/children is conditional and its beneficiaries are predetermined. Against this background, the study formulates two questions: (1) what is the status of a PNS pension after death according to the NU (Nahdlatul Ulama) Bahtsul Masa’il does it fall under tirkah or should it be regarded as irzāq; and (2) what are the legal bases and methods of istinbāṭ employed by Bahtsul Masa’il NU in determining the status of PNS pensions within the conceptual distinction between tirkah, ujrah, and irzāq/rizq. This research adopts a qualitative approach through library research using a descriptive analytical method, drawing on documentary analysis of Bahtsul Masa’il NU decisions, classical and contemporary literature on Islamic inheritance law and uṣūl al-fiqh, as well as statutory regulations governing PNS pensions. The analysis proceeds deductively by deriving general inheritance principles and definitions of tirkah, and then testing them against the characteristics of pensions as conditional benefit entitlements whose beneficiaries are determined by regulation. The findings show that Bahtsul Masa’il NU classifies PNS pension benefits particularly widow/widower/child pensions as not part of tirkah and therefore not subject to inheritance distribution; rather, they are positioned as irzāq/rizq (a grant/social provision) that becomes the right of designated recipients in accordance with applicable provisions. NU’s method of istinbāṭ is reflected in its consistent adherence to the four Sunni legal schools, reliance on aqwāl al-mujtahidīn and authoritative fiqh references, and its firm delineation of tirkah as property already owned by the deceased prior to death. The study recommends coordinated dissemination to PNS families and relevant institutions (government offices, religious counsellors, the Office of Religious Affairs/KUA, and fatwa bodies) on the distinction between tirkah and pension entitlements to minimize disputes, as well as the development of practical guidelines grounded in fiqh and statutory regulations to help the public differentiate inherited assets from pension benefit rights.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop a Scratch-based visual programming e-module to bridge the coding literacy gap among novice students who possess visual learning preferences but lack computational experience.Design/methodology/approach: Adopting the ASSURE instructional design model, this Research and Development (R&D) study involved 23 seventh-grade students at SMP Al Bayan Islamic School Jakarta. Instruments included expert validation, response questionnaires, and pre-test/post-test analysis. The e-module was constructed using Canva and Book Creator integration.Findings: Expert validation for material (100%) and media (95.6%) confirmed high feasibility. Field trials indicated positive student response with a score of 4.14 (5-point scale). Effectiveness was evidenced by a significant surge in classical mastery from 13% to 91%, with mean scores rising substantially from 36.81 to 89.Practical implications: The e-module provides IT educators with a standardized visual instructional instrument, replacing conventional methods to accelerate the comprehension of fundamental programming logic.Originality/value: This study offers empirical contributions regarding the efficacy of applying the ASSURE model to transform technical (hard-skill) materials into interactive visual media for a low-prior-knowledge demographic.     Purpose: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan e-modul visual programming berbasis Scratch guna mengatasi kesenjangan literasi coding pada siswa pemula yang memiliki preferensi belajar visual namun minim pengalaman komputasi. Design/methodology/approach: Mengadopsi model desain instruksional ASSURE, penelitian pengembangan (R&D) ini melibatkan 23 siswa kelas 7 di SMP Al Bayan Islamic School Jakarta. Instrumen meliputi validasi ahli, angket respon, serta pre-test dan post-test. E-modul dikembangkan menggunakan integrasi Canva dan Book Creator. Findings: Validasi ahli materi (100%) dan ahli media (95,6%) mengonfirmasi kelayakan produk yang sangat tinggi. Uji coba lapangan menunjukkan respon positif siswa dengan skor 4,14 (skala 5). Efektivitas terbukti melalui peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal yang signifikan dari 13% menjadi 91%, dengan lonjakan rata-rata nilai dari 36,81 menjadi 89. Practical implications: E-modul ini menyediakan instrumen instruksional visual yang terstandarisasi bagi guru TIK, menggantikan metode konvensional untuk mempercepat pemahaman logika pemrograman dasar. Originality/value: Studi ini memberikan kontribusi empiris mengenai efektivitas penerapan model ASSURE dalam mentransformasi materi teknis (hard-skill) menjadi media visual interaktif bagi demografi siswa dengan kompetensi awal rendah.

Abstract

Self-medication is the practice of self-medication without a doctor's prescription to treat minor complaints without a doctor's prescription. This study aims to analyse the effect of applying the WWHAM (Who, What, How Long, Action, Medication) method on patient satisfaction in self-medication services at Bintang Sehat Pharmacy in Blitar Regency. The research method used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, this study involved 360 respondents. Data were collected through observations and questionnaires based on the SERVQUAL dimension, and analysed using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed a significant relationship between the implementation of WWHAM and patient satisfaction (r: 0.272, p: 0.000). Tangible, responsiveness, and assurance dimensions obtained the highest level of satisfaction. The conclusion of the study is that there is a correlation between quality and satisfaction. This shows that the more complete and precise the application of the WWHAM method by pharmacists, the level of patient satisfaction with self-medication services will also increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the effect of the variable Work Skills and Work Experience on Work Productivity of Employees Assembling Infusion of PT. Jayamas Medica Industri Jombang. This study uses a quantitative approach with explanatory research methods which are carried out through data collection in the field. The population used is the Assembling Employees of the Infusion Section of PT. Jayamas Medica Industri Jombang, totaling 45 employees. The sampling technique used was the saturated sample technique. The data analysis method uses validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis test through T test and coefficient of determination (R2) with the help of SPSS Version 21. Based on the results of the study, it showed that Job Skills was able to increase Work Productivity of Assembling Employees in the infusion section of PT. Jayamas Medica Industri Jombang. Work Experience is able to increase Work Productivity of Assembling Employees in the infusion section of PT.Jayamas Medica Industri Jombang.
