Abstract

In the title of this research there is a problem, which as it is known that the Ulu Kasok attraction is a tourist attraction that has recenly attracted a lot of interest from local visitors. However, due to the lack of attractions of that are the main attraction of this object, local visitors are gradually decreasing. This object is in great demand by people because of its scenery which is similar to the tourist attraction that is highly desired by many people, namely Raja Ampat, there for the perpose of this research is to find out which attractions can make this Ulu Kasok tourist attraction an object of interest to the public many people. This study uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach and analyzes the data by conducting observations, documentation and interviews wiyh visitors local communities and the departement that manages them. After conducing interviews with various informants the researcher concluded that the Ulu Kasok tourist attraction did not get the attention of the management in increasing the attractions that became the data of attraction for tourists or visitor who came to the place. Abstract

A hotel is a sort of professionally managed accommodation that offers guests sleeping quarters, food & drink, and other amenities. The Housekeeping Department is one of the most important parts of any hotel. It is the job of the hotel's Housekeeping Department to ensure that all guest rooms, common spaces, restaurants, bars, and other service areas are clean, orderly, and comfortable. Room attendants and other members of the Housekeeping Department's support staff help ensure that visitors staying in and visiting the hotel have a pleasant experience by maintaining clean, organized, and well stocked guest rooms. The Labersa Toba Hotel and Convention Center Balige, which is one of the 4-star standard hotels in Toba, offers some of the greatest service, notably in the Housekeeping Department, in order to boost client satisfaction. The research was conducted at the Labersa Toba Balige Hotel to better understand the procedures of the room attendant Housekeeping department and the challenges that were encountered during their implementation. This study makes use of qualitative data analysis approaches, such as analysis, description, and summarization of circumstances and scenarios gleaned through interviews and field observations of the topics under investigation. Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of sales marketing responsibility in an effort to increase revenue at the Royal Asnof Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach to describe and explain the situation that occurs by collecting data and information in the field. The key informants in this research are the sales marketing manager and the accounting chip. In this study, the data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the sales marketing task of the Royal Asnof hotel Pekanbaru has been carried out in almost all things that refer to the theory used. Abstract

The tourism sector is a sector that has the potential to be developed as a source of regional income. The program for developing and utilizing regional tourism resources and potential is expected to contribute to economic development since the Covid-19 hit, a lot of tourism has been lost due to adverse impacts. One of the attractions that is still running well in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is Alam Mayang Pekanbaru which is a tourist attraction suitable for families and a place to spend time with groups of visitors who want to relax and enjoy the scenery like being at home. However, this tourist attraction that is known by the public does not yet have adequate promotion and tourism targets. Promotion is a one-way flow of information or persuasion or made to direct an organization or person to actions that create exchanges in marketing by planning and implementing good promotional strategies for both income and visits to the Alam Mayang Pekanbaru tourist attraction. Therefore, this study aims to to find out the Strategy for Promotion of the Pekanbaru Mayang Nature Tourism Object during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze problems based on data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The Promotion Strategy includes reporting on conditions carried out in advertising, sales promotion, public relations and personal selling. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, for the entirety of the results of observations and interviews, it can be concluded that the Promotion Strategy for the Pekanbaru Mayang Natural Tourism Object during the Covid-19 Pandemic has not fully worked out as targeted. Abstract

This study aims to determine the temporary food storage system (parstock) in the pastry section of Pangeran Hotel Pekanbaru. In order for the storage system to run properly, it must carry out several procedures that are a requirement for temporary food storage. Food ingredients are divided into 2 namely Goceries and Perishable materials, the storage of the two materials must be applied in a sustainable manner starting from the type of storage room and equipment, storage arrangement, storage location, storage security and labeling of food ingredients until the ingredients are ready to be processed in order to obtain quality good material. This study used qualitative research methods and to obtain data the authors used interview, observation and documentation techniques. From the result of the research that the author did for 1 month at the Pangeran Hotel Pekanbaru, it was found that the storage system was in good condition but did not meet the correct storage procedures. Keywords : Storage System, Foodstuffs, Groceries, Perishable

Abstract

Storage system is a way to preserve things in order to make it easier to undertake the job. A hotel has to keep tabs on the perishable material storage system that it manages. This study aims to determine how important the concerns of the perishable material storage system, the perishable material storage SOP, perishable material storage facility, and stock card stock/logbook of entry and exit of perishable materials are, which in this case the theory in reference to Utari's (2009) at the Cold Kitchen section of Novotel Pekanbaru. The details were collected using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Based on the research, it was found that the perishable material storage system in the Cold Kitchen section of Novotel Pekanbaru is considered balanced, meaning that there has been an increment according to the standards that have been set as well as some deficiency based on the standard itself. Keywords: Storage System, Perishable Materials, Cold Kitchen Section, Novotel Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Petalangan Cultural Center is one of the cultural tourism objects in Pelalawan Regency. In spite of its good potential, the Petalangan Cultural Center is not managed properly to such extent that it is being neglected which has an impact on decreasing the number of visits to the Petalangan Cultural Center. This research aims to describe the Petalangan Cultural Center as a cultural tourism object. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The key informants in this study were the head of the tourism object development section of the Tourism, Youth and Sports Office of Pelalawan Regency, the manager of the Petalangan Cultural Center tourist attraction, the Petalangan Malay ethnic leaders, the community around the Petalangan Cultural Center, and visitors to the Petalangan Cultural Center. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, documentation, and interviews. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that the condition of the Petalangan Cultural Center as a cultural tourism object has been truly neglected at which point that it makes various unique ethnical activities of the Petalangan Malay tribe abolished for it is one of the attractions of cultural tourism at the Petalangan Cultural Center. To boot, the historical buildings and other general facilities at the Petalangan Cultural Center were not managed properly so much as being damaged to various extents.Keywords: Tourism Objects, Cultural Tourism, Petalangan Cultural Center.

Abstract

The scriptwriter entitled “Implementation of Service Of Sequence (SOS) Waiters at Lavender Restaurant Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru” examines the implementation of Service Of Sequence and wants to know about how the obstacles and efforts of the parties management to improve the performance of waiters so that waiters work in accordance with the Service Of Sequence (SOS) at Lavender Restaurant Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Where in this study found management efforts to improve the performance of waiters at Lavender Restaurant. The level of succes achieved by the Food and Beverage Service team so far is in the satisfactory category. This is due to the function of the waiters who always follow the Standart Operational Procedure (SOP) or Service Of Sequence (SOS) and creat a good relationship between the functions of the Food and Beverage team and the Food and Beverage team as the front liner. Good and optimal performance of waiters in all respects in terms of health, soft skills and knowledge can increase sales through upselling. Lavender Restaurant Angkasa Garden Hotel Pekanbaru waiters must be able to sell products and communicate wit the guests as well as carry out Standart Operational Procedure or Service Of Sequence. In addition, it requires an active, creative and innovative spirit from waiters. This is necessary to create programs that can be followed to increase restaurant sales. Abstract

Recruitment is the process of selecting and attracting prospective employees who are able to work in a management. So recruitment is an effort to find and attract prospective workers to submit their applications to job vacancies in a company. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation, constraints and obstacles that occur in the process of recruiting workers at the sales marketing department at Novotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the real situation by collecting information data directly from the field. The key informants of this research are the senior sales manager of Novotel Pekanbaru, marketing communication of Novotel Pekanbaru and the TNC department of Novotel Pekanbaru. This study uses data collection techniques from literature study, observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study can be seen from the recruitment process starting from planning, until the work contract is going well in accordance with the SOP implemented by management and Novotel Pekanbaru, so that employees who are accepted meet the required qualifications. Abstract

Kerentanan pangan merupakan tantangan bagi daerah pinggiran kota akibat adanya pengalihan fungsi lahan pertanian menjadi wilayah permukiman. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengenalkan strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kerentanan pangan rumah tangga di Rimbo Panjang melalui edukasi akuaponik. Akuaponik adalah teknik mutualisme yang mengombinasikan budidaya tanaman sayur dan budidya ikan secara bersamaan. Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) dengan menggunakan metode kegiatan berupa penyuluhan mengenai pengertian akuaponik, keunggulan akuaponik, serta mekanisme pembuatan akuaponik yang terdiri dari persiapan, pemeliharaan, dan pemanenan. Pengabdian ini berhasil mendorong Kelompok PKK menerapkan budidaya akuaponik sebagai upaya pemulihan pangan rumah tangga
