Abstract

Currently, the business in the hospitality sector is growing rapidly. This is due to the development of the city and the mobility of the population. In addition, it is also due to the tourism factor which brings in many visitors or tourists who come to visit a tourist attraction in an area. One of the hoteliers at Pekanbaru Prime Park Hotel Pekanbaru which is a 4-star hotel located in the business center and the Pekanbaru Tour & Travel Government which is still running well amid the covid-19 pandemic. Prime Park Hotel Pekanbaru is an ideal place for guests on business trips and tourists to rest with family, friends and so on. In SeptemberNovember 2021, it has increased from month to month. However, due to the small number of employees, the work is not conducive, because from here the management uses a lot of casual children, so for work there are many miss communication between the staff and casual parties. With the implementation of discipline from each employee, and increasing professionalism for each employee, This will make every task and responsibility of the job easier to carry out. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the role of the Banquet Supervisor increases the professionalism of employees at the F&B Department of Prime Park Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to analyze problems based on data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. And in carrying out the role as Supervisor, the supervisor carries out the Interpersonal Role or the Strategic Interpersonal Role, Information Role and Decisional Role. Based on the results of the research that has been done, for the overall results of observations and interviews, it can be concluded that the role of the Banquet Supervisor increases the professionalism of employees at the F&B Department of Prime Park Hotel Pekanbaru. has been fully running even though there are still shortcomings. Abstract

The role of the public area is very important in hotel operations, the public area is part of the housekeeping which handles the cleanliness and tidiness of the public areas of the hotel, the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel which are visited by many guests. All kinds of cleaning matters in public areas are carried out by the public area, in order to give a clean and comfortable impression to the hotel environment and make guests who come have a good impression of the hotel. The purpose of this writing is expected to increase guest comfort when entering the Grand Jatra Hotel Pekanbaru area. The method used by the author is a descriptive method which is used to describe or describe the data as it is, which is done simply about the problems and existing conditions with the intention of providing an overview of the object of research. The results of this study stated that there were several procedures that were not carried out by public area attendent staff, so that work results were not optimal because they were not in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). Based on these results, the author's suggestion can be conveyed, public area staff must pay attention to the work time and rest time that has been set, so that the duties and responsibilities can be carried out according to standard operating procedures (SOP). Cleaning equipment should never be left behind after work, because it affects the operations in the hotel. Abstract

Hotels include business ventures that emphasize the sale of services. One of the activities carried out by the company to achieve sales targets is to implement good and efficient service to consumers. The stages of implementing this kind of service are efforts to increase service sales due to the intense competition that is happening at this time. This study aims to find out how the General Service Rules are implemented by waiters at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach in which researchers will collect data from informants to find out the issues raised regarding the implementation of General Service Rules by waiters at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru. While collecting data in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. From the research results, the indicators are handling the reservation, greeting the guest, seating the guest, beverage suggestion, presenting menu, serving beverage and iced water, taking orders, writing order slips, serving the food, clearing up, crumbing down, payment bills, and greetings. The results of the study show that the implementation of general service rules by the waiters at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru is in accordance with service delivery in general. In the implementation of general service rules there are several obstacles, namely miss communication between employees, and a lack of employees in the F&B Service section. Abstract

TanjungLeban Village is an area where almost the entire area is peatland. The research was conducted in TanjungLeban Village, Bandar Laksamana District, Bengkalis Regency. The people of TanjungLeban village use peatlands to grow pineapples. With the aim of knowing, describing and analyzing how empowerment, the results of empowerment and analyzing factors that can improve pineapple farmers based on local potential of peatlands. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out in this study in the form of direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are in accordance with the analysis showing that the indicator of empowerment that has not run optimally is sustainability. For other empowerment indicators run optimally. The supporting factors for pineapple farmers are mindset and creativity as well as pineapple farmer innovation. Abstract

Promotion is a way of communicating that is usually done in an organization that has the goal of attracting potential buyers to buy the goods and services being sold or offered. This study aims to determine the promotion strategy for Bumdes Pantai Jai Jai Raok, Padang Kemerdekaan Village, Pangean District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the subject of this study was the Head of Padangnggung Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Secretary of the Rajo Bujang Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), Kuantan Singingi Regency. Data collection is done by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis carried out in this study was data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the promotion is carried out through 3 (three) techniques which include Advertising, Sales Promotion, Public Relations. However, until now the results are still not good because there are still many promotions that have not been carried out and have not made maximum use of promotional media. maximally available. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the motivation of students accessing pornography, the impact after watching pornography and sexual acts of students after accessing pornography. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, where the informants taken came from students of Riau University with different departments and faculties. To determine the informant researchers used purpose sampling techniques and data collection techniques by observation and interview. Student's motivation to access online pornography sites on smartphones because of the encouragement of curiosity and to get the desired sexual fantasies. Smartphones and the internet cannot be separated, because the internet is a supporting application that is needed by the community. But in this modern age the internet is widely used by the public, as well as the spread of pornography in the form of electronic information. Indonesia is a country that cannot be separated from the problem of pornography, Indonesia is ranked second out of the 10 largest countries in the world as accessors of cyberporn. This greatly motivates students to access pornographic sites. From the results of observations and interviews, it can be seen that the motivation of Riau University students to access pornography sites is that six out of seven informants are curious and imitate what they see. Abstract

The development of the tourism industry in Indonesia has had a very good impact, namely in supporting state revenues. One form of the rapid development of tourism is the many tourist attractions and the construction of many star hotels. A hotel that is considered good is seen with good service too, because a service is also a benchmark for the size of complaints or guest complaints, especially the Banquet Section of The Zuri Hotel Dumai. The thing that must be done by the hotel The Zuri Hotel Dumai is to handle guest complaints. Handling guest complaints also requires several stages, including listening carefully, having empathy, apologizing and finally following up on problems and solving problems without harming anyone so that guests feel satisfied with their service. The purpose of this study was also to find out how to handle guest complaints, especially at the Banquet Section of The Zuri Hotel Dumai by using a qualitative descriptive research method to analyze problems based on the results of interviews, observation and documentation. This research was obtained from the results of interviews with the author to the HRD, Banquet Operational Manager, Banquet Service Supervisor. And the results of the research were carried out according to procedures, and the handling of guest complaints focused on the complaints given by these guests. Abstract

ABSTRACT The concept of Sapta Pesona is exemplified by a tourist item made up of seven parts: clean, neat, safe, cool, beautiful, and friendly, as well as memories to make visitors feel more at ease. In Padang City, the Adityawarman Museum is a tourist attraction that uses the Sapta Pesona concept incorrectly, making visitors feel uneasy. Therefore, the goal of this study is to enhance the Sapta Pesona's use at the Adityawarman Museum in Padang City to attract more visitors. This quantitative descriptive study included a sample of 99 individuals. This study collects data through interviews and questionnaires. for the Likert scale's use in research measurement. According to the findings of the research, the Appreciation Response to the Application of Sapta Pesona at the Adityawarman Museum is rated as good with (66,2%); the orderly element is quite good (58.73%), the safe element is good (69.6%), the clean element is good (67.07%), the cool element is very good (84.84%), the beautiful element is good (75.25%), hospitality is good (63.30%), memories are quite good (59.98%). Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause poverty in Padasari Village, Cimalaka District, and Sumedang Regency, separately or simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods with multiple descriptive and linear approaches. Determination of the sample in this study using the Slovin model. Data processing techniques are carried out through validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed using the SPSS application. The results of the study show that if not adequately managed, natural resources can have a negative impact on poverty levels, human resources involve the quality and quantity of a region's workforce, and human resources who do not have access to education, skills, and training will be difficult for them to obtain welfare.

Abstract

The CHSE protocol is the implementation of a health protocol that relies on Clean, Health, Safety as a guideline for tourism industry and creative economy businesses. Kemenparekraf as an organization that regulates tourism and the creative economy strengthens the implementation of the CHSE protocol so that it can be implemented very well by business elements in the local area. Air Manis Beach is a marine tourism object located in South Padang District, Padang City, West Sumatra. Air Manis Beach is closely related to the legend of Batu Malin Kundang in West Sumatra. In West Sumatra Air Manis Beach is one of the tourist attractions that is undergoing the CHSE certification process. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to describe the actual situation by collecting data using data collection techniques from observation, documentation and interviews. The results of this study can be seen how the implementation of the CHSE protocol has been implemented at the tourist object, has it been implemented by managers or visitors and what forms of the CHSE protocol have been implemented at the Air Manis Beach tourist attraction.
