Abstract

Riau province became the top five in internet penetrase in Sumatra. That states that Riau Province is well worth doing all activities in the digital world. Social Media promotion itself is certainly able to increase the number of tourist visits to Riau Province, under the pretext of the internet spread inside without knowing the time limit, place, and also status. This is a serious step that will be known about the smooth running of social media itself. This research aims to find out what promotions and media are chosen in the promotion. Based on the method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the problems collected by the authors through interviews, observations, and documentation with the marketing authorities of Riau Provincial Tourism Office. Abstract

As people who work around food, a high standard of worker hygiene is required. Employee hygiene must be carried out by making sure to keep workers and their clothes clean by following standard hotel operating procedures. Workers have a responsibility to produce safe food products and good worker hygiene is one of the important things needed to keep food products safe from microbial contamination. This study aims to identify and analyze the process of implementing Personal Hygiene at the Food and Beverage Product Hotel Fourpoints By Sheraton Batam. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects or respondents in this study used a purposive sampling technique, which was determined based on the person who was considered to know the most about the information needed in the study. The research subjects in this study were all Food and Beverage Product employees, totaling 6 people consisting of: Head Chef, Demi Chef, First Cook and Cook Helper who were involved and related to the procedures for implementing personal hygiene in Food and Beverage Products at Fourpoints By Sheraton Hotel. Batam. Then, how to collect data using Observation, Interview and Documentation. The results showed that the application of Personal Hygiene at the Food and Beverage Product Hotel Fourpoints By Sheraton Batam had been implemented quite well and in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures that had been made by the Company. However, there are still some Kitchen Employees who have not complied with and properly implemented the Standard Operating Procedures that have been made by the Company. Abstract

People’s games like Jong is a tourism potential that has the opportunity to serve as a tourist attraction. This Jong game is not his tough play.but to make the Jong it self is still very difficult. This is the cause of Jong boat is unique and rare also seem luxurious.Jong canoe is also a coastal folk game that still survives to this dayThis study aims to find out how to draw the charm of Jong and know the responses of tourists about the tourist attraction of Jong boat in the beautiful beaches selatbaru regency bengkalis. This research uses quantitative descriptive method to examine the issues raised by analyzing the responses of tourist who come to see the tourist attraction Jong boat. As for the questionnaires distributed as many as 30 people. While collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation.The result of this study indicate that the response of tourists to the tourist attraction on the tourist attraction beautiful coastal boat Jong selatbaru Bengkalis district of Riau province is quite agree with the overall score is the amount 780-1019. Abstract

PT. Fajar Riau Wisata is one of the modes of tourism transportation in Pekanbaru City, PT. Fajar Riau Wisata serves consumers from various cities according to the agreement. PT. Fajar Riau Wisata, which was once just a small business, has developed into one of the best modes of tourism transportation in Pekanbaru City, with all good services, capable bus units and also using the latest technology in today's transportation world. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the development of PT. Fajar Riau Wisata as a mode of tourism transportation in Pekanbaru City and to find out the factors that influence the selection of PT. Fajar Riau Wisata as a mode of tourism transportation in Pekanbaru City. Selection of PT. Fajar Riau Wisata is inseparable because it has a bus fleet with good condition, complete facilities and excellent service. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Tourism in Pariaman City this year to year continue to increase because of local city government in the effort of development of tourism sector, Pariaman City has a sloping beach with beautiful charm, now tourist resort has been fixed by the government of Pariaman City. In Kota pariaman there is also a turtle conservation area located on the edge of the beach gig in the village apar. Therefore, this research is conducted to find out how Tourist Perception Regarding Marine Water Turtle Conservation Area of West Sumatra Province Pariaman.This study aims to find out how the marine turtle conservation area and know how Tourist Perception Regarding Marine Water Turtle Conservation Area of West Sumatra Province Pariaman. This study uses quantitative descriptive method to examine the issues raised by analyzing the gaze of tourists who come to visit the Conservation Area. Abstract

Mamak's role in kamanakan is to guide and teach customs to kamanakan. Mamak acts as a leader for his kamanakan and kamanakan is a person led by mamak. The role of a mamak in Minangkabau is very much needed for a boy who will grow up. Mamak will give more guidance, religious teaching for children both boy about morals and especially supervise the behavior of children kamanakan. The role of mamak is considered to be both important and heavy, as the saying "children on the lap will be supervised". If there are problems in the family, mamak is responsible for resolving the problem. The role of mamak today has changed like never before. This qualitative research uses the Purposive Sampling technique. The results of this study are to know the changes in the role of mamak in kamanakan, especially in guiding and teaching children kamanakan. As well as its role in terms of economics, education, determining began to decrease. However, to manage and maintain the inheritance of mamak still plays a role, but there are also mamak who do not play a role. Mamak is a place to ask for children kamanakan, so that you know how the role of mamak and the role as children kamanakan. The fact is that there is no mamak function on the run, when childish children violate customary norms, mamak only gives limited advice, so that children who commit wrongdoing do not appear ashamed by their actions. Keywords: Social Change, Mamak and the Influence of External Culture

Abstract

Stunting merupakan isu kesehatan prioritas nasional. Diberbagai daerah pencegahan stunting telah melibatkan peran aktif masyarakat, peran aktif rumah tangga, orang tua yang memiliki anak. Rokan Hulu merupakan kabupaten dengan daftar 100 kabupaten/kota prioritas untuk intervensi anak kerdil (stunting) dengan prevalensi jumlah balita stunting sebesar 59,01% pada tahun 2013. Sedangkan Kecamatan Rambah samo termasuk 7 kecamatan yang memiliki desa dengan lokus stunting pada tahun 2022 dan 2023. Salah satunya desa Karya Mulya yang menjadi desa lokus Stunting. Persoalan ini perlu penangganan serius tidak hanya menghandalkan program dari pemerintah tetapi juga melibatkan perguruan tinggi dan peran aktif ibu rumah tangga. Dalam rangka mencegah atau meminimalisir stunting Tim Kuliah kerja nyata Universitas Riau Desa karya Mulya melaksanakan program kerja Pemberian Makanan Tambahan yaitu Bubur Ikan patin yang bekerja sama dengan Kader Posyandu Desa Karya Mulya dan melibatkan 4 anak sebagai percobaan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode observasi, sosialisasi dan pemberian PMT. Inovasi yang dilakukan adalah mengolah ikan patin menjadi bubur yang sebelumnya bahkan belum pernah dibuat di desa Karya Mulya. Bubur diberikan kepada empat balita selama 9 hari. Hasilnya pada balita satu mengalami kenaikan berat badan 0,8 g, balita dua mengalami kenaikan berat badan 0,2 g, balita tiga mengalami penurunan berat badan 0,1 g, dan balita empat juga mengalami penurunan berat badan 0,1 g. Mengingat bahwa stunting merupakan permasalahan kesehatan yang sangat serius maka program ini hendaknya dilanjutkan dalam bentuk dukungan dari Pemerintah Desa Karya Mulya mengenalkan budidaya ikan patin ke masyarakat serta berbagai olahan berbahan dasar ikan patin. Catfish Processing As Additional Food In Stunting Prevention Stunting is a national priority health issue. In various areas stunting prevention has involved the active role of the community, the active role of households, parents with children. Rokan Hulu is a district with a list of 100 priority districts/cities for stunting interventions with a prevalence while the number of stunting under-fives was 59.01% in 2013. Rambah samo sub-district includes 7 sub-districts that have villages with stunting loci in 2022 and 2023. One of them is the village of Karya Mulya which is the village of the Stunting locus. This problem needs serious handling, not only relying on programs from the government but also involving universities and the active role of housewives. In order to prevent or minimize stunting, the University of Riau Desa Karya Mulya Real Work Lecture Team carried out a Supplementary Food Provision program, namely Catfish Porridge in collaboration with Posyandu Cadres in Karya Mulya Village and involved 4 children as an experiment. This activity was carried out using the method of observation, socialization and giving PMT. The innovation made is to process catfish into porridge which has never been made in Karya Mulya village before. Porridge was given to four toddlers for 9 days. As a result, toddlers one experienced a weight gain of 0.8 grams, toddler two experienced a weight loss of 0.2 grams, toddler three experienced a weight loss of 0.1 grams, and toddler four also experienced a weight loss of 0.1 grams. that stunting is a very serious health problem, this program is considered in the form of support from the Karya Mulya Village Government in introducing catfish cultivation to the community and various preparations made from catfish.

Abstract

Sports and Recreation Park facilities (TORR), are facilities for the public to do sports and recreation, but currently many sports and recreation park facilities are no longer suitable for use, many are damaged, have holes, the grass is high and some are missing. the grass and the saddest thing near the goal is used for selling. The electric light is off, the toilet is open, there is no roof and there is no water, the garbage is scattered, etc. For this reason, the problems that can be raised are: 1). What is the visitor's perception of the sports and recreation park facilities and 2). What factors cause this sports park facility is not managed properly. The theory used to answer the problem is (Haryadi & Setiawan, 2010) the core of the theory is that perception must be viewed contextually, must receive attention and have different individual experiences. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method, using the census method, and accidental sampling and cross tables, with the data collection technique: Questionnaire. The results of the discussion on the Perceptions of Sports and Recreation Park Visitors (TORR) stated that the complete and still functioning facilities were Basketball and Jogging, the rest were lacking or even incomplete and lacking or not functioning. Then it can be analyzed that the visitor's perception of the treatment is poor and not good, this is due to the non-existent budget factor. The Pekanbaru City Government should provide a routine budget for field maintenance operations and make policies on cleanliness and tidiness in the sports and recreation park (TORR) environment. The conclusion is that the visitor's perception of the sports park facilities is not good or even not good, because the budget factor is not there or not budgeted. Abstract

In the title of this research there is a problem, which as it is known that the Ulu Kasok attraction is a tourist attraction that has recenly attracted a lot of interest from local visitors. However, due to the lack of attractions of that are the main attraction of this object, local visitors are gradually decreasing. This object is in great demand by people because of its scenery which is similar to the tourist attraction that is highly desired by many people, namely Raja Ampat, there for the perpose of this research is to find out which attractions can make this Ulu Kasok tourist attraction an object of interest to the public many people. This study uses a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach and analyzes the data by conducting observations, documentation and interviews wiyh visitors local communities and the departement that manages them. After conducing interviews with various informants the researcher concluded that the Ulu Kasok tourist attraction did not get the attention of the management in increasing the attractions that became the data of attraction for tourists or visitor who came to the place. Abstract

A hotel is a sort of professionally managed accommodation that offers guests sleeping quarters, food & drink, and other amenities. The Housekeeping Department is one of the most important parts of any hotel. It is the job of the hotel's Housekeeping Department to ensure that all guest rooms, common spaces, restaurants, bars, and other service areas are clean, orderly, and comfortable. Room attendants and other members of the Housekeeping Department's support staff help ensure that visitors staying in and visiting the hotel have a pleasant experience by maintaining clean, organized, and well stocked guest rooms. The Labersa Toba Hotel and Convention Center Balige, which is one of the 4-star standard hotels in Toba, offers some of the greatest service, notably in the Housekeeping Department, in order to boost client satisfaction. The research was conducted at the Labersa Toba Balige Hotel to better understand the procedures of the room attendant Housekeeping department and the challenges that were encountered during their implementation. This study makes use of qualitative data analysis approaches, such as analysis, description, and summarization of circumstances and scenarios gleaned through interviews and field observations of the topics under investigation.
